The Biden family have entered the negotiation stage, as they face two simultaneous enemies aligned in common purpose.

The book-and-movie option is complicated by the fact that no authentic first person input is possible from Joe. Imagine him reading his autobiography out loud! And the ghost writers would have a diabolical job getting anything remotely plausible down on the page.

If he were to claim health issues, it requires that questions be asked about how long he has had this problem, were his decisions cognitively impaired, and who are the people that allowed him to do this? That would destroy his legacy and family income so that’s a no go.
If he is forced by 25th, same destruction.
If they come up with a medical issue that is not brain malfunction they will do that because it allows him to go away and hide without embarrassing questions. He might even be able to withdraw from campaign only so that Kamala can pick a VP without congress. If Joe resigns Kamala must get congressional approval for new VP and that will take weeks.
And then Kamala will have to tread carefully. If she just continues his policies that puts her in a subordinate position and will make her look like she is doing the bidding of her master. If she changes policy that says Bidens policies were bad.
Any voluntary exit agreement will not allow Kammy to say anything bad about Joe or radically change any policies, putting her in a losing position from the get go.
I hope FJB stays in, but up to some point, the longer FJB drags this out, the more the payoff.
The 25th Amendment isn’t a sure thing. FJB can challenge any allegation by the VP and cabinet he is unable to perform his duties and it could well end up with Congress voting on removing him, which requires 2/3 vote of each house.
The Republican would be wise to take FJB at his word and not support a Congressional vote on his removal. Why should they? The same criminal cabal pulling the strings of FJB will be the same ones pulling the string of Heals Up.

You have to understand there are two priorities here for the Democrats and our erstwhile Intelligence agencies. President Trump returning to the White House is already baked into the equation. Biden at the top of the ticket endangers downballot races so drastically they have to replace him, even with the unpopular Kamala.
Their priority now is ensuring Democrat control of the Senate (making confirmations and Supreme Court nominations a brutal process) and razor-thin control of the House so yet another impeachment of Trump can be hung over his head.
This is a realistic appraisal. The Senate confirmation process will hamstring Trump this time around the same as it did before. The IC has no concrete reason to fear Trump, whose focus will be economic and on the border.
