The Biden family have entered the negotiation stage, as they face two simultaneous enemies aligned in common purpose.

If the Republicans want to play cut-throat, here’s what they need to do. Whereas invoking the 25th amendment can take as long as a month to fully implement, the game of back-and-forth needs to be kept alive until they’re within four weeks of the Democrat convention. Should the Dems then go for the 25th Amendment, the Republicans need to stall until after Biden gets the nomination, and then not vote to remove him — it takes a 2/3 vote of both houses of Congress to complete the process. The Dems will be stuck but good, with no way to float in a ringer VP candidate, leaving Kamala at the top of the ticket all by her lonesome should Biden be forced to resign. A sitting VP is not necessary for succession to the presidency; the Speaker of the House is next in line. They’ll bitch and moan, but there’s nothing they can do about it.
Politics does not work the way that we were taught in school, nor the way that the Constitution says it should. Maybe I’ve been working white collar too long, but nothing works the way it is supposed to in the employee manual, unless someone has it out for you. Then, they quote chapter and verse. But, most of the time, deals are made. A guy is caught with his hand in the cookie jar, but he has dirt on people who are doing far worse, including the executive who is trying to get rid of him. This is the SECOND time, in an update about the behind-the-scenes goings-on that our host has portrayed DJT in a very relaxed pose, with popcorn in hand and wearing shades, watching the Democrat movie play out.
I’ve asked myself this: 1) Does Sundance know something that makes him feel the relaxed Trump pose is warranted?

Listening to Bidens phone interview with MSNBC was surreal.
Call me crazy, but I don’t believe for one second that was actually Joe Biden speaking on the phone.

Am I implying that his voice was digitally replicated/cloned so that the voice sounded like Joe Biden but it was not really him speaking? It’s certainly possible and make no mistake the technology is there to pull something like that off, quite easily I might add. A CGI de-aged Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker was featured in The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett on episodes of those 2 Disney+ shows. Mark Hamill, the actor, DID NOT record any of the lines he spoke as the recreated Skywalker character. Hamill’s voice was entirely synthesized and digitally created by a company called Respeecher to perfectly match and sound like Mark Hamill as he did portraying Skywalker circa 1983 in Return of the Jedi. Oh and Respeecher, their offices are in Ukraine.
Will Biden stay or Will Biden go. That has been sucking out the oxygen of discussion for the last three weeks. Then more of the same as to who will be the nominee.
What Democrats are doing is taking everyone’s attention off what really matters and focusing it on squirrels, which is preferable to people thinking about open borders, high food prices, the inability to afford housing, the fentanyl overdoses, the lack of jobs, the Middle East in turmoil and WWWIII about to catch fire.

I agree with you George S. ! Bread and circus diversion would be good reason to set up Biden for the early disastrous debate. Maybe they even gave him elder meds which confused him more than usual on debate night? The goal could have been to manufacture crisis to take America’s attention away from GOP convention and trump campaign issues.

Well, whoever wrote the letter on Biden stationary sure has lying down as well as Joe.
In my unpublished novel (apparently it has to be written first) Joe agrees to step aside with a Sunday noon speech in which he details how they cheated in 2020 and then instead of resigning, he concedes to Trump. Tough to overcome his hatred of Trump, but maybe being thrown under the bus as a useless idiot could do the trick.
They rigged the 2020 election to get this Bozo in office (81 million votes–yeah, right) and they probably thought they cold do it again in 2024 if need be. That is until Biden showed his ass on national television during the debate. Trump is continually gaining support so maybe they figure this one will be “too big to rig,” so Joe’s gotta go. Trouble is, no matter who they replace him with, the results will still be the same, if not worse.
My influencer brother in law, not the lefty organizer one, told me right before Biden was inaugurated that he was just a placeholder and then the more radical person would be installed. His family is deep state and old money. He is a half brother to my husband. We are the norm to my family but to his we are “different “. I find it totally bizarre.

I’ve been waiting for this. I posted on TGP under this exact MSNBC story asking what it was that Biden wanted (to leave)? Yes, there will be an exit price and it will certainly involve Hunter. A triumphant Trump could go after the graft and corruption that started the Ukrainian war to begin with. Hunter and his laptop are right out there. There is also a continued stream of money that Joe will want to move aside.
And for folks looking for the 25th amendment push, it ain’t gonna happen. Biden’s been around a long time and he has supporters – MSNBC represents that. There are skeletons all through Washington DC closets, and Biden is still lucid enough to remember them.
