I think it could easily turn out that Biden could stubbornly refuse to resign. He’s a stubborn old ‘coot who absolutely believes he “deserves” to be President. First off that is not possible. 2nd, even if it was, he could still run again.
The rule is that if he could have taken over 2 years before Joe’s term was up he could still run for 4 more years again. Example: the law is that a person can serve no more than 10 years, 2 years as a vice president having to take over for his president, then 8 years of his own presidency.
In Trump’s case he could only serve one more 4 year term if it was possible to take over now, which it is not!

I can not believe JB has been running the Executive Branch. We sympathize with you and hope Joe feels better after stepping aside. But, Mrs Biden, we have to ask, is it in your best interests to negotiate with these scheming democrats who are so fickle, one bad debate and they jump ship? What if you negotiate a deal but your side loses? Admittedly, we don’t know who will win but right now it looks like Joe will lose.
So, we have a proposal. Given that the odds are in our favor right now and we are aware that people are on the verge of threatening you for their own personal gain. Would you at least consider our offer?
Joe will need to admit his medical issues and have your DOJ drop all cases against us or pardon Trump as a gesture of bringing the country together, and republicans will not vote for 25th amendment. This gives you flexibility based on your personal situation. They can’t force anything if our party blocks the 25th amendment. Remember also that Trump did not go after HRC. In the meantime, if you agree to support and sign some republican legislation we will consider that for the future. Sorry, no guarantees but ask yourself, will the democrats stick to their word?
Who will you negotiate with? Trump who is a generous man, or some democrat who THINKS they run the party? Who will you trust?

The same thought process that brought us Biden as VP; make blessed well sure that the next in line is so repulsive that nobody dare mess with the one at the top of the pile, lest the whole mess come crashing down. It worked to keep Ol’ Jug-Ears in the Oval Office, and it’s worked again for him to remain there, albeit lurking in the shadows.
Choosing the Biden/Harris team, the two weakest candidates who ever ran for president and vice president was part of a brilliantly-conceived psy-ops plan by the puppetmasters to convince the Trump campaign and millions of his MAGA faithful that the Democrats could be easily defeated in 2020.
Which is a principal reason why nothing was done proactively to fight election fraud in the months before the November 2020 election when highly-focused election integrity activism would have been most effective in preventing the Big Steal. Most all of us fell for their psy-ops plan, myself included. We won’t have any excuses this time around.
