Attorney General Merrick Garland admitted he is “worried” daily about a possible terrorist attack on the US, warning that the threat level “has gone up enormously” since Oct. 7.
Garland revealed his fears Tuesday when asked in the House Judiciary Committee if there was a raised threat from the millions of migrants entering the country under President Biden’s disastrous border policies.
“I am worried about the possibility of a terrorist attack in the country after October 7. The threat level for us has gone up enormously,” he testified.
“Every morning, we worry about this question. We try to track anyone who might be trying to hurt the country.
“Of course, this is a major priority for the Justice Department,” he added.

One friend – retired w/ CIA connections – said he feared … 10/7 style attacks in many neighborhoods throught the country. I hadn’t thought of that… nor do I want to.
I am furious because this admin and many others LET the terrorists into our country to go and do whatever they please.
Of the 11 million illegal migrants in just 3.5 years, how many are Islamic terrorists seeking revenge against the US? 500k? 1 million? 250k? 500k is not that much out of 11 million. I so despise our govt bc they do not protect our country and our citizens. DHS doesn’t protect the homeland at all.
Even just a handful can cause a lot of harm.
It would be a piece of cake for jihadis who have walked over the border to bring us to our knees emotionally, for example by targeting twenty elementary schools spread across the country at the same time on the same day. Iranian hackers are in our water treatment computers, and PRC hackers are so deep in our systems, including infrastructure and DOD, that Mandiant said last week that we don’t know how deep because they are simply better than our cyber security guys’ now.
We are at their mercy. They have no mercy, so they will do whatever they think is in their interest.
I am at no man’s mercy.

Well, given their performance to date, in terms of attacks in the U.S. they are really kinda a bunch of p*ssies, really.
Pressure cookers and pipe bombs, a few shoot em ups, since flying planes into bldgs.
They tend to follow the KISS principle, and although their advertising division (MSM) tends to call their attacks “sophisticated”,…there not.
They are in fact crude and basic; kill a bunch of people, in as attention grabbing a way as possible.
If they truly wanted to shut down the country, sure they could. But they don’t. They just want to inspire TERROR, as in mindless fear: thats why they are called terrorists.
You have a greater risk of dieing from being crushed by a piano, that fell out of an airplane.
The might be attacks with loss of life, but depending where the attacks occur, it would also be open season on the trash. “Gun Free Zones” would be prime targets, but there’d be other areas where an armed population would readily defend themselves and their neighbors. The trash wouldn’t last long in most rural areas.
I’m thinking of twenty pairs of armed jihadis who expect to be gunned down within an hour after they launch their attacks, whether by police or by civilians.
In an urban environment; that might kill dozens to scores each depending on location.
Suburban would depend heavily on time and day. Late morning weekday they’d be lucky to find pets; pre-Dawn on a weekend you’d probably get a number initially, but once it was obvious what was going on and got noisy… the law of averages that someone has their gun ready when the door is forced open goes up exponentially.
Rural is an interesting case as the population is dispersed enough they might be able to kill entire households without raising the alarm, but the distance between homes, the odd hours some rural operations require and self-reliance of knowing law enforcement might be 20-30 minutes away makes it problematic because it’s probably hundreds of yards to half-a-mile or more between homes and the odds of someone being awake pre-dawn or otherwise being alerted by unusual noises/lights is higher.
The 10/7 attacks relied on surprise and that most of the victims were not actually armed (their guns are stored in common areas).
Imagine a couple Jihadis accidentally targeting an urban gang territory though… they might be missed entirely by authorities tallying up the fatalities because the gang took out the intruders so quickly.
I’m sure the people planning such an attack have an idea of how they THINK it would go, but America is so big and heterogeneous that trying to hit more than part of one urban center just wouldn’t get them even a fraction of what they’d be hoping for.
That’s why they don’t go to rural areas.

I closely followed the Parkland Florida school killings by Cruz in 2018.
The PROMISE program began in 2011 under the supervision of the school superintendent whose brother was an Obama appointee at federal Dept of Ed at the same time, and later who was under suspicion for misuse of hundreds of millions.
He resigned before charges and refused to testify before Congress about the funds. The story was never covered by msm.
That Fl. district was a sitting duck for the emergence of a future shooter and fertile ground. And how significant that Cruz was on FBI’s radar but was ignored.
Obama also had rewarded that school district with gobs of federal money in 2010-2011, more than any other in the U.S.

Father in law was a paratrooper in General Gavin’s 82 Airborne. Eddie actually grew up with Gavin in
Mt Carmel, PA. He never talked about it but my mother in law told me a story about the boys all
being at attention in Italy I believe after they came over from Africa. Gavin was going down the line and
when he came to Eddie he said, “How they treatin’ ya, Eddie?” “Eh, ya know Jim..pretty good but it ain’t like
the pierogies from home.” She said Gavin cracked a smile, patted Eddie on the shoulder and said, “You guys
done good…..keep it up”.
Eddie got wounded in Italy, transferred here and there and eventually made it safely home but I know he probably wished he was with his buddies.
He never talked about it and I was too young and dumb to ask questions. I just loved his daughter who became my wife.

Day in the life of a first-time poll worker. True story for it was me.
Yesterday I was really proud of myself because I felt I was helping out our state and country by working as a poll worker at one of our local precincts. Oh, we weren’t perfect but overall, I do believe we did a fairly good job, even though it was a long 14 plus hour day.
Several times during the day poll the other worker in talking to the Poll superintendent, asked him to follow her so she could drop off her car after we were done. . Several times I repeated the rule that two people from different parties have to ride together from the polling place straight to the auditor’s office with no stops for anything. The person in the car with the superintendent has to be of another party. Since the superintendent was republican I couldn’t do it.
However, at 7 when we closed that same workers kept telling me “You can go if you want” with me saying I have to stay until you two are in the vehicle on your way to the auditor’s office. Several times while we were cleaning up and packing the same worker still kept telling me I could leave, and I kept telling her “No I can’t and won’t!
Here is just the first kicker. Just about 15 or so mins before we were done Not only does, she again ask the Superintendent to follow her to let her drop off her car, but says “since there is no poll watcher no one will know” I inform them both that it doesn’t matter if there is a poll watcher or not, she has to ride from the poll to the auditor’s office” . Now that I look back, I realized that the superintend never once during the day corrected her, by telling her the regulations.
As we are leaving, I see her start to get into the superintends car so I go get in mine. Damn not two minutes later I see her get into her car that is next to mine. They both leave in separate cars driving out of the parking lot. At first, they turn right onto the main road leading to town, However, not even a quarter of a mile later they turn right going down a street that no way leads to the auditor’s office,
Yes, I personally reported it to the auditor’s office within an hour.
No wonder our election process I so screwed up.

MAGA needs to gain control of the STATE R PARTY, THEY are the ones that installed both Abbott and Phelan, and will make sure splitter candidates and other tactics will be used against any MAGA candidate that tries to primary them.

Wow. Back in the early ‘oughts, I worked and lived in Central Europe for a few years. My dad had delivered some of the D-Day MIA telegrams in his hometown. He was in the military during Korea but didn’t go overseas. He had always wanted to see Normandy and the cemetery.
While in Europe I flew my mom and dad over for a couple of weeks, took my dad to Normandy. While walking through the town square towards the church at Sainte-Mère-Eglise, a group of French teenagers approached us and asked if we are Americans. Yes, we are. They thanked us! Very emotional. I cry every time I think of that or tell the story. They will always remember. So will I.

Ukrainian nationals with dual citizenship have been barred from leaving the country, a border guard official said on Tuesday. They are also no longer exempt from the military draft under a new mobilization law.
Border service spokesman Andrey Demchenko told state TV on Tuesday. “We are not letting this category of citizens through now,” he added.
He cited a recent government decree that obliged such people to register for the draft within 30 days. Previously, dual citizens and Ukrainians who were living abroad under a residence permit had been exempted from military service.
The US embassy in Kiev immediately warned Americans who hold Ukrainian citizenship against traveling to Ukraine. In 2020, the year in which the COVID-19 pandemic started and containment measures—such as lockdowns, social distancing, school closures and quarantines—were implemented, 1,033,122 excess deaths (11.5% higher than expected) were recorded.

Took them long enough. Now, Miyares, what are you doing to counter the Lawfare?
Hmmm, someone commented (or there.was an article) that Trump would have a huge amount of political capital when elected. This move by Youngkin shows 2 things to me. 1) The political capital is already working. 2) They are pretty sure Trump will win.
While Youngkin seems to be coming ’round lately to our way of thinking, I doubt he would step out like this if he was sure Trump would not win.
Watch for similar actions by potential wishy washy types in the coming weeks/this summer.
The thing is, if you let them back in the house, you can never sleep, knowing they are there and could stab you in the back at any time.

BREAKING 🚨 @realDonaldTrump classified documents case Judge Aileen Cannon has cancelled a 3-day hearing that had been set for June 24 in Federal District Court in Fort Pierce, Florida.
The hearing was originally meant to consider whether President Trump’s lawyers should be permitted access to communications between prosecutors working for Mr. Smith and officials at the National Archives and several national security agencies. (NYT)

This may be because she now has a hearing scheduled for June 21 on the validity of Jack Smith’s special counsel appointment. If Trump wins this, then there is no need for the other hearing. The case is over.
