Georgia case: on hold until the Georgia Court of Appeals holds a hearing on Fani Willis disqualification in October. In terms of the election, irrelevant and on ice.
Jack Smith Florida case: Having declassified and unredacted a ton of DS and FBI and Eisen shenanigans, Judge Cannon just set in a hearing on whether Jsck Smith’s appointment as a Special Prosecutor was valid at all (quick constitutional answer, no. Hat tip Congressman Massie for a well timed dialogue).
Prediction: She will take under advisement, and at the right time, dismiss the case on that basis.
What did I leave out?
The D.C. case. On hold while the SCOTUS ponders Presidential immunity. Will they allow any negative decision on Jack Smith’s eligibility impact that case? I, personally, think that case will not go to trial.
Possible sequence of events:
SCOTUS rules that former Presidents do not have immunity for crimes committed during their tenure, that only their core constitutional powers are protected from subsequent examination, and that an impeachment is not a prerequisite to prosecution. SCOTUS doesn’t find the Meese arguments properly presented on the record below, and so doesn’t address those.
Collective gasp. Eisen puts on his Ash Ka Nazi lederhosen and dances an Irish jig with the Bidens.
Then Judge Cannon rules three days later that Smith has no power to prosecute because he was a private citizen and the Special Counsel statute lapsed, and there was no advice and consent by the Senate to his appointment.
Once again, there is a request to SCOTUS for an immediate action because of the conflicting circuit rulings concerning Smith’s status, and they accept. All trials on hold until after the election. Ultimately, SCOTUS holds the Smith appointment was unconstitutional. Cases permanently dismissed.
Result: President Trump has the precedent to go after everyone from Obama to W, for actual crimes, and a SCOTUS ruling saying he can do that constitutionally.
Boom kaboom.
Somewhere in there, and prior to Cannon finding nothing Special about Jack, she issues a finding that pernanently releases PDJT from any restriction on the 11″ binder material; he can publish it on Truth Social, or whatever.
That way, he goes into D.C. “loaded for Bear” because they know-he knows- we-know, and so he can leverage that into getting the appointments he wants, confirmed and use this “blackmail” to dissuade them from even thinking about Impeaching him.

SCOTUS will be issuing a ruling in June/early July around President Trumps claim that the DC case should be tossed because he had Presidential Immunity for actions he took.
Ironically, Bragg/Merchans Kafka twist on Berias Stalin Show trials ie show me the man and we’ll convict him WITHOUT finding a crime, may incentivize SCOTUS to make a bolder ruling on Presidential Immunity than they may have wanted to make.
Why?
Before what COULD happen without a robust ruling on Presidential Immunity was based on speculative hypotheticals.
Fortunately, Bragg/Merchan and The Lawfare Thugs pulling their strings stupidly turned those hypotheticals into terrifying actuals.
I suspect SCOTUS is going to rule in favor of immunity.
