The back-and-forth questioning does not need to be performative to be substantial, it only needs to express the same frame of mind that a viewer would have on the subject matter. If your gut has a sense about an issue and the questioner conveys that same gut-level sentiment honestly, it puts the person being questioned into a non-pretending corner.

Just happened to read this last night — thing is, I agree with so many in his comment sections, who say blaming Boomers for this doesn’t work. Those like Wray, Strzok, and Page, look more like Gen X, biden is the “great generation” — and on the other hand, Boomers made up much of the Tea Party and now are the backbone of MAGA.

I think there’s plenty of blame to go around. Pinning it on my generation (90’s) is just as misguided as trying to blame it all on Boomers or Gen-X’ers.
We tried to raise our children without the pain and fear we lived through. Seemed like the obvious right thing to do at the time. Unfortunately, we did not know that unless you have to face bullies every day and cry in your bed in fear every night worrying that a nuke is going to wipe out everything you love, apparently you get soft and don’t learn to fight back.

The very term “Boomer” indicates the group of people who were born in the “boom” of babies made shortly after the WWII servicemen returned home to greet their wives/girlfriends/S.O.’s. In my case, that would be 14 years after the end of the War. That’s a long time to go without, and I really don’t think my Pop was down for that. And being born in 1932, I don’t think he was old enough to serve in WWII.

And couldn’t the residency change be temporary, anyway, and revert after the election? I mean, I’m not sure that the Constitution would stretch so far as removal from office, should the President or VP happen to become residents of the same state AFTER inauguration (though I’m sure that the Lawfare crew could cook something up…).
Question: in which state does a president hold residency WHILE living in D.C. the majority of the time?

Garland is a two bit crook, evidently another Merchan type exactly. The law means nothing to either one of them. They manipulate the law they don’t enforce it. If they did, all their cohorts would be sitting in jail cells today.
