HatTip The Gateway Pundit – These remarks by former Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant are somewhat shocking to hear said out loud.
Governor Phil Bryant: “I’m the campaign finance director for Donald Trump in Mississippi, so we raise money. I’ve talked to a number of very wealthy individuals that God has blessed that say I can’t give money to Donald Trump because the FBI will show up at my door.”
One of the more sad, albeit predictable, aspects to the politicization of American justice institutions is that there’s less and less shock associated with the dropping of pretenses. Many people on these pages and in the discussions across the internet warned several years ago that downstream from the weaponized government was going to be an end-point era where all trust was dissolved. We are essentially at that point now.
While both wings of the UniParty apparatus in DC played together in the creation of the post 9-11 surveillance state, it was the Obama administration who added the weaponization knob based on political ideology.
Weaponizing the DOJ and FBI via the Intelligence Community (2012 and beyond) was an outcropping of the previous weaponization of the IRS and regulatory system (2009 to 2012). When I discuss this issue with people, I like to draw attention to the Obama and Eric Holder continuum.
The National Security Division of the DOJ (DOJ-NSD) was created by Eric Holder specifically to function as a weaponized agency, using FARA (Foreign Agent Registration Act) as the tool for the surveillance and targeting. While the NSD system was being put into place (2009/2010), Main Justice requested the CD ROMs from the IRS containing the Schedule-Bs of every 501(c-4) political organization. The DOJ quickly settled the class action lawsuit brought by conservative groups.
With the spotlight on the Cincinnati office (Louis Lerner), Obama moved his Chief of Staff Jack Lew into position as Treasury Secretary. The DOJ under Eric Holder then moved away from using the IRS and began to using the NSA database (weaponized FISA-702 authority) in 2012.
Notice the dates first mentioned by FISA Presiding Justice Rosemary Collyer.
“Government reports that it is unable to provide a reliable estimate of non-compliant queries since 2012“… “No apparent reason to believe the November 2015 -April 2016 period coincided with an unusually high error rate.”
The November 2015 to April 2016 period was when the FBI was conducting electronic surveillance of the candidates in the GOP nomination process, “same identifiers over different date ranges.” It was also only stopped after an NSA compliance officer noted the extreme volume in the April ’16 “about queries”. If the American people had been made sufficiently aware of what the implications of this report were saying very loudly, the electorate would have realized the DOJ/FBI and Intelligence Community were conducting political surveillance on a scale that dwarfed Watergate.
85% of the searches conducted from 2012 were non-compliant. Think about the scale of database searches and the intents and purposes therein. By the time President Trump arrives as the GOP nominee in 2016, the surveillance was extensive, often used and no longer questioned by an entirely comfortable FBI and DOJ-NSD.
In the biggest of big pictures, THIS weaponized REALITY was the origin of what the DOJ/FBI then realized they needed to hide after President Trump unexpectedly won the 2016 election. Everything thereafter, all of it… even through to today, is downstream from that apoplectic triggering point within the system.
Even now, many people still do not grasp the implications and ramifications. The public awareness of FBI participation in the targeting is simply one of those reality points in the non-pretending comments by Phil Bryant.

Rural is far safer that you think. Out here in the rural environs I live, the people have long held courage and convictions of defending their families with lethal force. Leaving my mountain valley to go to Denver or even Colorado Springs is something we do less of more and more.

As long as the federal government owns the printing press and can print their own paycheck, peaceful means to clear out the unelected will be a very tall order. That doesn’t preclude the value of voting and pursuing voting integrity and transparency.
I suggest people get their feet wet trying to get rid of unelected bureaucrats at the town, city and county level first. At least those entities can’t print money and can be starved for resources if citizens work together. That’s an effort that doesn’t require bombs, bullets and bioweapons. However, expect the regimes to use those methods against you if you oppose them. Turnabout is fair play.

Most school boards, election boards, library boards, etc. require that their members post a bond in order to serve.
Citizens can get these bonds revoked, and that board member can no longer serve.

Using the legal system to remove opponents we might target requires a justice system not aligned with those opponents.
We have seen examples of this across the country at all levels in the past decade, at least.
Hence one would need a Sheriff and DA and the unelected members of their orgs to enforce a bonding action.
Without enforcers, laws are meaningless. If the enforcers oppose us and balance justice departs, something Sundance does a great job of chronicling here daily, laws become hypocrisy. They are hypocrisy right now. Posters here put up examples every day.
I have not yet seen a current example of someone whose bond was forfeit being forcefully removed from their unelected position. I would enjoy reviewing one. Always willing to learn more.
When I speak of elected positions like Sheriff and DA I’m also reminded of PDJT, who was Chief Executive, and how his subordinates lied to him, slow walked orders and defacto conspired to undermine his authority. The same can happen, and does happen, at any level of government. When it happens to the enforcers, the ones who can legally kill us if we don’t comply, then we’ve got problems.

I agree about fighting local. A weapon we have not used yet is simple noncompliance. Our entire system rests on the idea that people will just go along with things.
The system has never been stress tested for what happens when 100,000,000 people just stop even pretending to follow the rules. Taxes. Jury duty. Traffic laws.
And that’s before normal people decide to get in on the shoplifting sprees that certain socioeconomic groups enjoy.

This means that Trump needs to be exceedingly careful about who gets appointed to what positions. He appointed many weasels in his 1st administration that came back to bite him on the rear.

The only way the Clintons could get away with their corruptions and Obama can continue his 3rd term is through the Senior Executive Service – the unelected protected class of Democrats installed throughout Democrat presidencies. Jimmy Carter ‘s Administration started the SES and Obama onboarded 7000+ in the last weeks of his Administration. These people are placed in decision making positions whose role is to ensure policies, regulations and admin rules preserve and protect the Uniparty and it’s objectives as the political arm of the corporatists. They are among the highest compensated in Fed govt aNd receive the largest bonuses and THEY CANNOT BE TERMINATED.
If as you say the SES can’t be terminated straight away, each and every member of the SES can at least be assigned to a study group set up inside each cabinet department and agency. Their full time job will be to memorize the constitution word for word, section by section, and to recite each section back from memory without error before moving on to the next section. If they refuse to accept said assignment, they can then be terminated.
From what I have heard the SES is just a bunch of climate change fanatics with a climate change agenda. They all need to be removed. Rotten
I think a big part of this, particularly when dealing with corporations, will be Trump quietly encouraging people to abandon those companies. And maybe not so quietly.
A lot of those government jobs can be flipped to “at will” employment, making it easy to fire them. Decapitation will need to be a major strategic thrust.

I saw a 150+ year old private university close its doors while President Trump was president. The reason? He imposed restrictions on student visas.. ie.. their *unlimited* Federal funding for foreign students.
Private as well as state universities are controlled and managed by communists. There is no good reason this university couldn’t revert to accepting AMERICAN students for a change!
They just didn’t want to. I guess it doesn’t fit their AGENDA 21 plans to replace US.
I saw all this happening in real time, with American students groveling at the back of admissions lines behind foreign (read: federally funded) students. Top students including valedictorians could NOT get acceptance into colleges of their choice absent a compelling (read: non-American) background.
The tough one will be when we expose the judges. People like Boasberg and Sullivan. The Judicial Branch will cover up for them. The best we might hope for is to just make it all public knowing that judges won’t convict/sentence judges.

Back in the ‘50’s Mississippi had some questionable judicial outcomes. My, how things have flipped. The righteous New York City is now the holder of the title- Chief Banana Republic in America.
Judge Merchan came from Bogata at the age of six. The Latino Judges Association gave a glowing bio of him, that he was a “proud product” of NYC public schools. He then attended Baruch College, also in NYC, an institution proud of its diversity. He went on to Hofstra for his legal degree, no doubt still on the minority escalator up. His entire life has been spent, and he has profited from, in a belief the country needs to be recreated with non-whites ascendant. Merchan has lived his entire life in that toxic new form of racism. IMO, every crooked thing he has done with his power reeks of it.
This is what American communism looks like. We have to destroy it.

We need to get better at fighting back and building our culture unto the system. We need to fight back not only by supporting President Trump, but by damaging the progressive culture (throwing sand). You may think your doing so won’t make a difference, but if you consider our numbers and make yourself part of the fight, your actions will count
Here’s an example that may seem like a minor thing, but if we join together we will shift their narrative. I read mysteries/thrillers and have stopped reading any books with an FBI main character (the good guy in the story). You may think that is meaningless, but it isn’t, not if we all do our part. I also talk about the corrupt FBI if anyone recommends a book with an FBI ” good guy” and explain I don’t want to perpetuate lies.
It doesn’t matter to an author or book publisher if I do that, but if millions of us stop buying or borrowing their books from the library, the authors and publishers will notice. It doesn’t matter if they or the books promote the the progressive line. What matters is they are perpetuating the myth of a “decent” FBI. Along with this, look for books that show the true FBI. i also have stopped reading popular authors who slam President Trump in their fiction books (thinking of you Michael Connelly). Same idea with music and other forms of art, and with education and what you buy and who you buy if from.
They’ve achieved control and gotten away with what they’ve done in large part because we’re been asleep and because we haven’t fought back in large numbers. We need to fight now on every front. Learn and look for opportunities in your every day life and get busy! We are an army and need to consciously use our power.
I agree with you and have given up a few authors who have suddenly made their character “go green” or lean way to the left when there had been no prior politics in previous books. Just same way I have given up on actors, musicians, producers and the majority of hollyweird, fake news and many, many stores and brand names. My personal boycott is all I truly have.

Authors and publishers need a lot of push back, but evertually they’ll get the message. For us, the best thing would be that we support authors and publishsers who write about life as it is instead unintentionally supporting authors and publishers who are either clueless or who promote progressive crap that feeds the globalist machine.

It’s interesting what you said about reviews. I’ve found on amazon i need to watch what words I use. For example using “woke” in a review got a “warning.” But from what you write it sounds like maybe amazon lets progressive reviews go through.

Hey Sundance, some of my former military compadres who I served with tell me about a serious tug of war that occurred from December of 2015 to January of 2017 when Pres Trump was inaugurated between Mike Rodgers, NSA Director and both John Brennan, CIA Director and James Clapper, Director of DNI regarding the weaponization of intelligence specifically as it regarded the Presidential campaign between Clinton and Pres Trump!!! Rodgers became aware in early 2016 about the activities that were going on with Obama and these operatives and had objected to their activities which more or less got him put in a box to keep him from interfering in these activities!!! He tipped off Mike Flynn and Pres Trump about the weaponized intelligence operations against then President Elect Trump in early December 2016 which forced the Transition Team to move operations from Trump Tower to Bedminster in New Jersey!!! There are some who believe he also used the NSA to block any type of nefarious activities and voter fraud during the 2016 election especially regarding any potential computer hacking and manipulation!!! We all need to be very clear about what we are facing.
I think we can all identify with the metaphor of a “cancer” in our collective body.
A few commenters here seem to think this is the kind of cancer you can just cut away, and everything will be fine.
I believe we are facing a much more difficult task–a metasticized cancer that has infiltrated every element of our society, government, and culture.
We can, and must, attack it, but it remains to be seen if the cancer can be removed without killing the patient.
I liken patriots to the antibodies which fight off and kill foreign invaders that threaten the health, and life, of the body, with ‘body’ being the Republic. The Communist scourge is the virus and we are the cure. We must gather and attack to be successful. Merely wandering the body while the invaders destroy it isn’t going to work. That’s what, largely, we’re doing now.
