If you’ve ever served, particularly in the Army or Marines (conventional units), you should know there is a lot more to soldiering than shooting a weapon.
Days on end in the elements, crawling in the mud, unit tactics, logistics, cover and fire, evading, communications, etc.
It ain’t like the movies or what you think it is if you never served. Far from it.
3-6 months training Army and Marines just to get to a unit in infantry.
And I have to ask if you were a Marine, because that is the only service that requires pull-ups as a test, unless you are airborne qualified, and even then it is an option for women, 1 pull up or 15 push ups to pass, either/or.
There were no pull up requirements for female recruits in the Army, Navy or Air Force in my day and the standards for all services are easier now, less push ups, slower timed runs, crunches instead of sit ups, etc.
10 pull ups are hard for men to do when training for them, much less women.
IIRC, it doesn’t take but 20 to max a male Marine test, and it used to be 7 for airborne training all services, with women being given the option for a arm hang for time, instead of pull ups.
10 pull ups for a women at any age is highly impressive is all im saying.
Don’t forget going WEEKS w/o a shower or washing your clothes in anything other than your helmet.
I came back from a deployment after 45 days no shower, etc., and my barracks mates made me strip outside I smelled so bad.

The same is also true of the NCO ranks, which are managed by a personnel system that is the same as that managing the officers, especially after the rank of E-6.

There are 2 very specific “types of DoD (Military) operations” listed as “Support and Stabilization Operations”, which are aimed at supporting US Domestic Civil Authorities in times of Natural or Man Made disasters or incidents and in times of CIVIL UNREST to sustain Civil Authority. These mission types have been “legally vetted”.
The confused need to educate themselves on the Constitution, the Federalist papers, the founders’ documents, and natural rights.
When the military is used to suppress the God given rights of the people and/or the orders go against the Constitution or principles the nation was founded on, it does NOT matter whether or not the operation is said to be of the “Support and Stabilization Operations” type – they are still ILLEGAL and TREASONOUS.

The FBI and CIA are filled with self centered DEI hires, unfit for any job, who never consider mission critical assignments but who consider their mandate to be changing the country from representational republic to totalitarian based upon critical race theory, gender and queer theory etc. They have PRIDE MONTH in every federal agency including the FBI and CIA. Wray made everything worse at the FBI in terms of DEI. The entire federal workforce is proud to be gay, queer, transgender, whatever. All the people in the FBI or CIA who cared about the agency’s work in terms of going after criminals or protecting the US from foreign threats left, and some did even before they could secure their pensions! When Biden came in he immediately repealed Donald Trump’s EO and now we have what Obama put in place on steroids. Interesting experience this week that modeled, to me, what we are up against. An older gentleman, farmer but retired, was visiting the farm. We have a lot in common concerning cattle. He made a joke about “those MAGA Republicans”. The only thing I responded with was, “Oh, I don’t own a television.” I make a point of NOT “flying my colors”, not at home, not on the vehicle, and I avoid politics. I thought to myself, “Well, he won’t be someone to count on when SHTF”. He watches CNN, probably. I have slowly been assessing (area study, if you will), who can be trusted and who cannot. I keep my thoughts to myself, and my head down. Not being a “chicken” about anything. I am being wise about whom I will have trusted relationships with. He won’t be one, even if he does offer to help me when I need it. He probably took the jab, and he’ll probably believe anything the government tells him. Sorry. Not sorry.

Here’s how we fix the problem. Set the same physical requirements for all recruits regardless of sex, race, religion or LGBTQxyz status. For those already in the military who can’t fulfill those requirements, remove them unless the can pass. Fire any high ranking members who are not laser focused on the primary goal of the military which is to be a fighting machine and remove any qualifications related to DEI; merit is the only measure by which fighters and their leaders are chosen. The military is no place to practice social engineering.

The only service members allowed to carry arms are those whose Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) requires it. For the most part, that means only military police officers can carry arms, and even those troops are restricted as to time and place. They pick up their arms and ammunition just before going on duty, and return them to the armory immediately after going off duty.
It’s one of the ironies of military life that those trusted with military grade weapons to protect American liberty are not allowed to carry the common handguns civilians take for granted. They are, on our military installations, less safe than civilians shopping at WalMart. Military dependents are likewise prohibited from carrying arms on base and are equally vulnerable.
