President Trump’s track record of being the proverbial good luck charm continues. During Trump’s visit to the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday he visited the garage of race team McLaren where he spoke to McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown (pictured below) and the entire team.
During his visit to the F1 McLaren racing garage, President Trump was introduced to driver Lando Norris car (pictured), this is the exact car that won the Miami Grand Prix. Cool stuff.

These encounters proves that PDJT is a genuine man for the people…he is not shallow or hollow, but full of substance, including sensitivity to those who are the true engine of this country…the Middle Class. The man cares..and I have believed from 2015 that he considers this his “giving back” swansong to a country that allowed him to create a legacy from hard work, intellect, and fortitude. He truly WANTS America’s heeled-over ship taking on water at the hands of a bunch of criminals and political hacks to be righted and sailing into smoother waters. The boat is only as good as the captain steering it…and he is commensurately qualified to make it so…especially now after seeing the puppet show strings in his first term.
Developers (father was one) who have confidence but not arrogance never forget from whence they came, they can just as easily relate with the bricklayer as the architect, engineer, or banker. Trump has worked with all levels of society in his development projects…and it shows in spades.

Just a share of a fond memory of my dear ol’ Dad. Over the years we watched a local port-a-jon business grow and grow. Whenever we’d pass by it my dad would say, “That guy is turning sh!t into gold.” He also used to say regarding we kids when we were younger breaking things, ripping screens, etc. “You kids have the slight-as touch, anything you touch turns to sh!t”
I sure do miss him; he had such wisdom about the everyday things. He used to say, some people are so “open-minded” that their brains are falling out.
Again, not too on topic, but dear ol Dad would have had some things to say about the past few years. He died in 2019 just before the pandemic. My mom and I laugh that he “got out right on time”. In his final months he said he wanted to live long enough to vote for Trump one more time. Little did he know he would have been able to vote for him 3 times!
Anywho, he surely would have had some things to say about Trump having the golden touch.

Well before DJT came down the escalator I was at an abortion facility quietly protesting with a group. In that group was a tall black man who seemed to be a preacher so I went to listen. He said a lot but one thing he repeated several times was “God chose a builder”.
Lots of the glam folks hang out at F1 events and F1 has grown in the US over the years (now 3 events for year’s calendar). Pres. Trump shows he’s part of that anyone who is anybody. Zac Johnson, CEO shown talking to Trump, has done a great job and achievement means something to Trump. Lando Norris likely won because he’s A) really talented and B) his car is the one on the team that received the full slate of upgrades. They work and he can run with the Red Bulls now.
Was nice to see the reception for Pres. Trump. The glitterazzi come & go but “the Folks” were delighted to see him.

The McLaren’s seemed to do well with the new upgrades, and his worked really well on that tight course, in the heat.
Max almost didnt make it out of the first turn, Checo almost took him out!
Max was losing time to him, lap by lap, couldnt catch him.
Im going to say that wont be the case, on the high speed courses. The Red Bulls are still dominant. Ill lay bets right now, they get another championship.

I’ve watched the entire F1 seasons Netflix series and McLaren has had a rough time. Nice to see a win for them.
But let’s not forget that the only American car in the 2023 24-hours at LeMans was won by Team Corvette!
Ferrari won the race overall and the Corvette won it’s class and 26th overall. There was a NASCAR Hendrick Motorsports Camaro that came in 39th overall. Cadillac was the big surprise, at least to me. Here are the results:

What stands out, also, is the contrast between President Trump and President Potato Head. President Trump is gifted with the Common Touch that is genuine and real.

Auto racing is my favorite sport. Do not argue that auto racing is not really a sport because anyone can drive a car. I couldn’t even be in a car going over 200mph, much less have the ability to drive it without making any real errors for over a moment or two. I couldn’t do any better in the Kentucky Derby, for that matter. If football players could keep this kind of focus, they would be race car drivers. Trump had my vote on the day he announced he would run again. But he didn’t have the racing world in his hip pocket, yet. I think this cameo appearance helped him in every racing community in the world. He needs all the cred he can get on the world stage and racing of any kind is the most basic and universal sport of all.

Yep I brought attention to this last night after the race!
Theres another thing that may be symbolic about Lando Norris’ win, I just havent quite put my finger on how.
So Lando was running in the top 5 when the leaders started to pit. He stayed out and was running long on his original tires. He was going to have to pit soon, when an acccident happened that brought out the safety car, so he was able to pit under caution and came out still in the lead.
The accident that brought out the safety car was when Kevin Magnussen hit Logan Sargeant.
Kevin Magnussen drives for the lone US team in F1 and Logan Sargeant is the lone US driver in F1.
Symbolic? Significant? I dont know
It was perfect and lucky timing, that the Safety Car came out when it did. Luck is always part of F1.
It allowed him that gap, to put fresh rubber on, and keep the lead.
Max couldnt catch him, Lando had that thing flying! His car seemed very very fast for a McLaren. That isnt always the case. His tuners nailed it right, for a tight track, and a very hot day. Good for Lando!
