According to a recent Reuters report, Elon Musk signed a $1.8 billion contract in 2021 with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) to launch a system of orbiting surveillance satellites.
According to the report, “if successful, the sources said the program would significantly advance the ability of the U.S. government and military to quickly spot potential targets almost anywhere on the globe.”
Remind me again exactly when Elon Musk bought the Twitter platform.
WASHINGTON, March 16 (Reuters) – SpaceX is building a network of hundreds of spy satellites under a classified contract with a U.S. intelligence agency, five sources familiar with the program said, demonstrating deepening ties between billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk’s space company and national security agencies.
The network is being built by SpaceX’s Starshield business unit under a $1.8 billion contract signed in 2021 with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), an intelligence agency that manages spy satellites, the sources said.
The plans show the extent of SpaceX’s involvement in U.S. intelligence and military projects and illustrate a deeper Pentagon investment into vast, low-Earth orbiting satellite systems aimed at supporting ground forces.
If successful, the sources said the program would significantly advance the ability of the U.S. government and military to quickly spot potential targets almost anywhere on the globe.
The contract signals growing trust by the intelligence establishment of a company whose owner has clashed with the Biden administration and sparked controversy over the use of Starlink satellite connectivity in the Ukraine war, the sources said.
The Wall Street Journal reported in February the existence of a $1.8 billion classified Starshield contract with an unknown intelligence agency without detailing the purposes of the program.
Reuters reporting discloses for the first time that the SpaceX contract is for a powerful new spy system with hundreds of satellites bearing Earth-imaging capabilities that can operate as a swarm in low orbits, and that the spy agency that Musk’s company is working with is the NRO.
Reuters was unable to determine when the new network of satellites would come online and could not establish what other companies are part of the program with their own contracts. (more)
Knowing that for a period of about ten years beginning in 2012, USG/DHS essentially operated inside the platform of Twitter for the purposes of controlling public opinion, I find it very challenging to believe the relationships with DHS, FBI, HHS and USIC – along with the Pentagon and State Dept, just ended after Musk purchased the platform.
One could make a compelling argument the purchase of Twitter held an ancillary benefit and protected the USIC from revelations that would not be controlled by any other process. Long before the “Twitter Files” were released under tight controls, the structure of Jack’s Magic Coffee shop was increasingly visible.
Beyond the Twitter Files, the COVID-19 pandemic revealed just how much control the government held over the platform. A $1.8 billion USG contract buys a lot of symbiosis and influence.
Govt has been dialed into everything we say and do forever, not jus listening and reading, but watching us thru our tvs and phones for gosh sakes. Am I the only one to notice that before the data is given over to the govt, Elon has access and is collecting it? Even if you don’t have a phone, he’s like a police helicopter that never sleeps.
.
Side note: to the extent we can consolidate and keep this crap as U.S. or U.S.-dependent technology, the better the chance that at some point we can regain control over it the right way… art of war… tiktok… etc.
.
Because they all want to watch you have sex, right?
President Trump’s last sentence to Judge Napolitano says it all.
👇🏻
Someone explain to me how – if true – this not an escalation and a threat to world peace?
The US is collectively freaking out when sighting 1 single fake “Spy balloon” over Alaska, and the rest of the world is supposed to tolerate a REAL admitted to orbiting spy satelite network?
Big sad.
And then Russia needs to be “strategically defeated” because Russia are working allegedly on an anti-satelite weapon. (If the report is true, justifiably so it seems)
Still the report could not be true. Could be sourced to produce some ill feelings against Musk who has become rather popular the last years. Who installed Musk at Tesla? It was not a company he founded or envisioned. Where did he come from. Questions Questions.
One other reason to be sceptical: 1.8 billion also seems a little light on the funding for spying on that scale endeavor. This is what they allocate for Joe Biden’s vacation time over his presidency (ok, that was a pun :-D)
1) A $1.8 billion contract buys ~20 Falcon 9 launches at current SpaceX prices.
2) SpaceX has put over 5000 Starlink sats in orbit with 145 launches since 2019.
3) Not one of the Starlink sat launches have failed to date.
4) NASA’s closest competitor to orbital launches cost a minimum pf 3x that and their failure rate is significantly higher.
5) SpaceX has spent more than $2 billion in the last 2 years alone on 3 Starship launches, not a penny of it in gov $.
6) SpaceX’s Starshield contract is for orbital launches, not the surveillance satellites which are military owned and developed by 3rd party contractors.
While I deeply respect the homework that Sundance does and agree with 95% of the positions he takes, I see nothing in this post that reflects negatively on Musk/SpaceX. Especially in light of the suddenly numerous regulatory fights Musk is now faced with since his move into the political arena with X/Twitter. IMNSHO, Musk is currently the #2 target of the deep state, Trump being #1. He’s not perfect by any measure but neither is Trump and I’m voting for him no matter what the courts do.
That said, I’m a retired systems engineer, currently building an off-grid homestead in the Appalachian foothills. I left FL because I don’t believe much of it will survive a SHTF scenario, much less a nuke exchange …look at the maps. I have no love of the coming surveillance state but see it as inevitable. Reagan wanted a StarWars missile defense system and 40 years on the DoD is finally building a key component of it …not always for the same reason. But along with the early warning, intelligence, and targeting capabilities such a defense requires, comes the inevitable ability to turn it on our own citizens …and they will. As will China and Russia. Rail on about it but it’s coming like it or not. Much rather have it in our hands first and trust Trump to deter its worst effects.
And just maybe, in my remaining lifetime, SpaceX will colonize Mars …before the next dark ages arrive. NASA sure as hell won’t.
Agreed on most things you stated.
I still have more faith in Elon Musk, than i have in anyone alive, other than Donald Trump.
As for your “Alas Babylon” scenario, i still choose to stay in my Florida home, and go down fighting, rather than let anyone push me out.
Good movie, better book.
As for ‘fight or flight’ I prefer paraphrasing Patton …not my job to die for my country, my job is to make the other bastard die for his.
You do you of course, but as for me, I hope me and mine will be here for that.
As for Florida, too many Yankees these days for me. Getting hard to find real grits on the menu any more. They think it’s cream of wheat. 😤
This is one Yank (PA) that likes his hominy with butter and a touch of sugar.
You are right about the Yankees.
But i live in Jacksonville, which, like Pensacola, is much more “OLD SOUTH” than the rest of Florida, so most Yankees don’t come here, as they move down to South Florida with the other Yankees.
The people that move to Jax are mostly Mid-Western Country folk.
Love Patton.
But i like to use a different example than PATTON when discussing STANDING YOUR GROUND.
I use the Cuban Community in South Florida as an example:
ie: Almost 70 years ago in the mid-1950’s, Castro and the Communists took over Cuba, and hundreds of thousands of Cubans FLED TO SOUTH FLORIDA. Now, after almost 70 years, these South Florida / American Citizen Cubans PROUDLY TALK ABOUT HOW BRAVE THEY WERE TO FLEE CUBA….? I don’t get it. ! Cowards flee. Brave People Stay and Fight. If those Cubans had stayed and fought, MAYBE CUBA WOULD HAVE NEVER FALLEN TO THE COMMUNISTS.
Donald Trump is under constant attack. Has he fled the USA, and moved to another country ?
No. Donald Trump is not a coward. He is standing and fighting, and will continue to do so until the end. That is his Character.
William, i am NOT saying you are a coward for taking the time and money to create a BACK-UP SAFE HAVEN FOR YOUR FAMILY for when the battle comes.
I am just saying that when the battle comes, SEND YOUR WIFE AND KIDS THERE, WHILE YOU STAY HERE AND FIGHT WITH US…..!
As for GRITS, i have a large bowl of Buttered, Cheese Grits, with Bacon every morning.
Can’t imagine starting my day without grits.
ps: a long time ago, back in the 1970’s, while living in the dorm at College here in Jax, my roommate was a Yankee kid from New Jersey. He used to drive me nuts because he put SUGAR on his grits…. ugh
Yep smothered in butter or cheese, preferably cheddar.
Speaking of “OFF-GRID HOMESTEAD” , and the book “ALAS BABYLON” , which was about what happened in Florida after a nuclear war, consider this.
In the book, HUGE CHUNKS OF THE LAND that the book listed as “SAFE FROM RADIATION” in Florida after the war: IS NOW OWNED BY BILL GATES……….. he just swooped in about 10 years ago and bought up thousands of acres of land, AND HAS DONE NOTHING WITH IT…? Everyone asks: “WHY DID HE BUY IT ?” Now you know the answer. Logic dictates that Bill Gates built a “Off-Grid Homestead Bunker” there.
Love me some grits and agree about cream of wheat…
This is what I appreciate so much about this site – both the analysis of sundance – and some of the replies to what he writes.
Of course, Musk is tied to government. How can he not be? The old Persian proverb again comes to mind:
“The dogs will bark, but the caravan moves on.”
Is this “Big Game” we observe in any way simple? Only to those with simple minds.
Unfortunately, Musk is also tied to the CCP via the funding he has received. I’m no longer looking for — or expecting to find — heroes. A few truthtellers would be nice, no matter how harsh the truth. I don’t need PDT deciding for me whether I can handle the JFK secrets. It is well past time for all the truths to get laid on the table. Especially the ugliest of them.
Trust Trump? He’s responsible for 20 million murders world wide. The only thing happening at “warp” speed was people dying. Over a flu shot.
we’re not mad at you, you can still suck us easy, even though you’re the most ignorant person on the Internet. be blessed
I did say, he’s not perfect. But then neither were Reagan or Lincoln. Only one ‘man’ has ever been such. It’s always easy to spot the mistakes of others with the benefit of hindsight.
It was easy for Scott Atlas and Rand Paul to spot Trump’s covid mistakes in real time. They didn’t need hindsight. Why aren’t we listening to them NOW?
You haven’t taken a real close look at Rand Paul’s politics I guess.
“Let God be true and everyone else a liar.”
Remember anyone can be gaslighted in this age. Even Trump. It is unfortunate but that is our lot. All we can do now is attempt to not let it happen again.
That’s not fair. Trump was in a catch 22. He either agreed to Fauci’s lockdowns and vax remedy or the media would have decreed him the world’s worst mass murderer, by the time every inflated covid death was tallied up.
Trump made the same mistake we all did, he trusted the experts.
I do think he is long overdue for saying as much. Overseeing Operation Warp Speed is not the flex he thinks it is.
Some if did not, actually.
That’s one way to look at it . The other,He saved 7.billion 980million.
Got any Statistics on deaths due to lock downs?
I love reading the comments here at the conservative treehouse there are no idiot treepers. imho the treehouse has the most intelligent group of commenters and followers of any site on the Internet, bar none. I salute you, smart people!
100% agree Elon is NOT the enemy.
Maybe not-but he is HEAVILY subsidized by the US govt.
And right now the government is being run by the deep state and is no friend to its citizens.
Elon is also NOT your friend or mine. He has his own agenda, himself. He and his have suffered from the jabs and from the woke trans garbage.
There’s also a fundamental physics problem with the notion that small satellites can be used for high-resolution imagery of the earth.
Wide-field array?
NASA is one of the biggest money laundering operations in history.
Because there are so many independent researchers looking into all things NASA, SpaceEx and Musk are being used as an independent cutout that can’t be 👉FOIA’d. 👈
Try and find any of the hundreds of thousands of files, tapes and Telemetry of the Apollo Moon missions.
NASA readily admits they ALL have been “misplaced” and or destroyed.
ARE YOU EFFING SH1Tting me???
The greatest achievement in the history of mankind and NASA with their 70 million a day budget somehow “misplaces” ALL of it?
If anyone believes that, they’ll readily get in line for their third jab 🥕🥕🥕 and 4th booster!
That’s understated!
More like third jab and 10th booster.
There are actually people still getting them quarterly, but besides controlled environments such as nursing homes, prisons, and colleges there are no lines.
So if that is how the US govt keeps records, should we be worried about them collecting all this information on us?
YES.
The XY building on the Cape has communication cables floor to ceiling. None of them are ever pulled, they are cut when disabled, because pulling them would cause a cascade. The schematics of what line goes to what other line or antenna or receiver on the base are in drawers written in pencil and ink. There are hundreds of drawers.
So, yes, some of the tapes were undoubtedly lost. There is another problem with tapes. They age. They are simply magnetized dots on a medium to represent 0s and 1s. Over time, they corrode, especially in Florida by the ocean which is a corrosive environment due to salt, water and sunlight. The only worse environment for corrosion is space. I suspect the majority of them were damaged during storage in inadequately controlled environments. This is not meant to imply that NASA is above lying, it isn’t.
Lolly,
you believe the most well funded, highest technology government agency wouldn’t have known about the degradation of that technology? It’s been known for decades. There are companies that take old films and restore them. Hollywood, which created these films, definitely knows about it. They’ve taken the classics and restored them. Additionally, they’ve even colored them. So, please, you think nasa would just let them disintegrate or degenerate? That isagood one! 😳😂
Ive lost all respect for him. In bed with the government just cancelled all good things he has EVER attempted.
Elon Musk is a liar, fraud, and government welfare queen who has made billions off the backs of American Taxpayers for the left’s holy grail of Climate Change, Green energy and EV’s – all hoaxes of the left.
Elon Musk voted for Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and Barack HUSSEIN Obama.
Elon Musk is WEF
Elon Musk has received billions in subsidies for both SpaceX and Starlink – your comment about SpaceX not receiving government funding is false.
Elon Musk is not a free speech absolutists – Just ask Matt Tabbi, James Woods to start with.
Elon Musk was forced to buy Twatter – he was stoopid enough to sign a contract to buy it without doing any due diligence
Elon Musk still receives government funding for Tesla – see Tesla financials as Tesla received about $465 million for the super charger network and continue to make a profit on selling carbon credits to other car companies
Elon Musk is punking you.
SpaceX’s seed money came from NASA and they get their money from US government.
Yep…THIS^^^^
You murdered your analogy. Lucy was holding the football for an extrea point, not a punt.
It wasn’t a field goal?
In the type of business Musk is in no one rises to the top without the approval of Sauron. He may appear to be one thing but his ultimate masters get what they want out of him.
There are people who were banned on Twitter that were never reinstated on X.
There is no way to know what the algorithms are doing behind the scenes.
Instead of simply shadow banning, they could be doing infinite levels of shadow banning so as to not raise suspicions.
They can set levels of exposure with respect to quantity but they also can set regional barriers.
They could filter certain tweets by certain people and limit their exposure to followers.
Without checking the distribution of each and every tweet to a large subset of followers, one would never know the difference.
A worthy read
dailyreckoning.com/from-capitalism-to-corporatism/
This explains the hysteria over the “Russian space weapon”. The issue isn’t nukes in space, we know that, but they (being the dregs of society in the brothel on the Potomac) think we’re stupid enough to buy it. Rather, it’s Russia’s anti-satellite (ASAT) capabilites, which are well known, that they’re freaking out about. And it’s not that Russia would target one of our satellites (that would likely be considered an at of war), but rather they’d hit one of theirs and the resulting debris field would disable this surveillance network. There’s enough plausible deniability in that as well.
I suspect these satellites are likely low earth orbit, as opposed to traditional spy satellites that are either in high polar orbits or are geosynchronous. Like a stampede of Starlink satellites into a buzz saw, these reconnaissance satellites would be easily disabled in a debris field.
It must be understood that the American intelligence community relies so heavily on signals intelligence and NGOs, that they’re otherwise blind. This is not new, Stephen Budiansky has written extensively on this in his excellent book: Code Warriors. And the case of Robin Raphel is instructive (I’m not going to link it here as I don’t want to give the odious duo of Devlin and Adam any credit).
TLDR; the IC and their puppets are freaking out because satellites that are intended to surveill you (for targeting data – precision matters – they will kill you if given the chance) might be “accidentally” taken out by Putin.
If a ship from somewhere else ever discovers the earth, they’ll find a dead planet with a debris field of destroyed satellites orbiting whatever is left. They won’t be able to enter the atmosphere because of all the debris crowding low earth orbit. They’ll also realize that whoever lived on the planet could never reach outer space because any craft leaving earth would be destroyed by the orbiting debris. The Kessler Syndrome effectively trapped humans on the earth forever.
I had a neighbor years ago who was a retired Naval Intelligence Officer. I still email him once in a while. He told me that as far as military satellites go there are about five big ones that the U.S./NATO depend on. Same with the Russians. It is well understood that if there is war with Russia both sides satellites will be destroyed within a few days.
The difference? Well the Russians have people who can do math. My friend says that it is doubtful we have enough of those. In other words Ivan will still be able to fight. The U.S. ?
I don’t really trust Musk but a lot of the tech his companies produce is very effective. Maybe he could start a new one to rebuild America’s crumbling bridge infrastructure.
He could call it SpannedX.
LMAO! Much like Musk named his tunneling venture “The Boring Company”
I trust Musk and SpaceX far more than I would ever trust the corporate media, NSA, CIA or anyone from the Federal Government. These folks already have us under massive surveillance but can’t seem to detect any enemy flyovers from the CCP.
Like to shake the hand(s) of those who threw me off of twitter some years ago. Thank you is all I can say.
1.8 billion dollars?
Is that all? Or just a down payment?
Over $100 billion to zelenskyy and elon only gets bar tab money?
Money talks and bullshit walks.
A case of choose your own poison.
If this was left to the DOD, we’d be looking at $180B for the same job.
It is, after all, rocket science.
Trust God. Fear not.
So Elon, do you have the NASA contract? No? Then why are you doing this? Is Space X in that big of trouble?
I posted this article yesterday on the presidential thread, but it’s a lengthy piece and many will not have seen that it includes this part:
How Did American Capitalism Mutate Into American Corporatism?
JEFFREY A. TUCKER
Every major company that once stayed far away from Washington now owns a similar giant palace in or around D.C., and they collect tens of billions in government revenue. Government has now become a major customer, if not the main customer, of the services provided by the large social media and tech companies. They are advertisers but also massive purchasers of the main product too.
Amazon, Microsoft, and Google are the biggest winners of government contracts, according to a report from Tussel. Amazon hosts the data of the National Security Agency with a $10 billion contract, and gets hundreds of millions from other governments. We do not know how much Google has received from the US government, but it is surely a substantial share of the $694 billion the federal government hands out in contracts.
Microsoft also has a large share of government contracts. In 2023, the US Department of Defense awarded the Joint Warfighter Cloud Capability contract to Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Oracle. The contract is worth up to $9 billion and provides the Department of Defense with cloud services. It’s just the beginning. The Pentagon is looking for a successor plan that will be bigger.
Actually, we don’t even know the full extent of this but it is gargantuan. Yes, these companies provide the regular consumer services but a main and even decisive customer is government itself. As a result, the old laughing stock line about backwards tech at government agencies is no more. Today government is a main purchaser of tech services and is a top driver of the AI boom too.
It’s one of the best-kept secrets in American public life, hardly talked about at all by mainstream media. Most people still think of tech companies as free-enterprise rebels. It’s not true.
https://brownstone.org/articles/how-did-american-capitalism-mutate-into-american-corporatism/?utm_medium=onesignal&utm_source=push
A single B-2 Spirit bomber costs about 3/4 of a billion dollars each.
How much of a military spy satellite network do we think a measly $1.8B buys? Is this a real procurement contract for the full complement of functioning hardware & software delivered and operational? Or is this seed money to begin design under a specification?
Or, like nearly everything else the government tells us, is it a false or misleading narrative intended to divert us and the government’s foreign adversaries from knowing what’s really happening?
Stay frosty.
“Spy satellites”? Are there already, and have been for many years – long before space X.
“Google earth” has at least 3 layers of definition. Just look what you can see with the free version. Then there’s the public paid version, and then there is at least one more layer for intelligence. Google/Alphabet do not own the satellites .
Elon Musk is NOT the enemy. Why would space X turn it down ? Someone else will take it on. That’s purely a business decision.
The focus should be on real enemies- WEF, BIS, UN, NATO, Pilgrims Society and the Blackrocks and the other globalists.
as an aside notable un-invites to the WEF include both PDJT and Musk
YEP! Exactly right.
Stars Wars anyone? Satellites being lased out of the heavens and falling to earth. Obi Wans, Skywalkers, and droids oh my.
Global Communism. US becomes a communist country ran by a corporation/government mafia and the rest of the world is then easily conquered. November it is complete.
The Occupation Government now in control of the region still referred to as the United States is the enemy of every person desiring freedom and liberty.
Hundreds of satellites acting as a swarm?!? WTAF?!?!
You might have crisscross orbits of satellites but I have never heard of any satellites that can “swarm”. They can only cover a narrow swath of earth surface with each pass in orbit. Satellite imaging requires many passes. So unless they came up with a steerable satellite they can start and stop in orbit, I don’t think there will be any “swarming” of satellites on a target. It takes several hours for a satellite to make one orbit of earth.
Future space trash is what his hundreds of satellites adds up to. Elon needs to design a space garbage truck.
Starlink satellites are movable, they have to be. SpaceX releases several of them at a time and they “fly” to their designated spot along the preplanned orbital path. It is quite a sight to watch at night. Technically, SpaceX inserts them into their designated orbit and they reposition themselves higher or lower using thrusters.
The circular footprint of a satellite on the earth’s surface is determined by its altitude. The higher the orbit the larger the footprint. A satellite images only what is contained in its footprint at a specific time. The resolution depends on the construction of the satellite and its distance from the object being imaged and the weather. There are satellites that can “see” through clouds, but that is not all of them. They don’t all use the same type of imaging either. There are many types. Some imaging reflects heat signatures instead of a visual picture.
An image does not require many passes. An area larger than the satellite’s footprint requires multiple passes. The images from each path are combined by software into a composite image of the desired area.
I agree that satellites can not swarm in the sense that drones can and do. However, a satellite can communicate with any receiving antenna within its footprint that is designed to receive the type of signal the satellite transmits. To impact a sizeable area on earth a satellite swarm is not necessary. If the satellite is designed to commandeer an army of drones within its footprint, then, it would have the impact of a swarm.
If a satellite stops orbiting it is crashing into the atmosphere. What typically happens is its orbit degrades over time and it uses its thrusters to move itself back to where it originally was. The space station does this regularly. If it is unable to compensate for orbital decay, it continues orbiting closer and closer to earth and eventually enters the atmosphere.
The military value for an arrangement like Starlink in battle has two aspects. It supports communication in remote areas not typically accessible. Since there are multiple satellites in a Starlink arrangement, the destruction of one satellite can be addressed by using one of its neighboring satellites in most cases. This provides redundancy.
And, yes, Starlink satellites are destined to become future space trash.
why not spend some money fixing the potholes on my road?
They’d have to lay-off a couple of clerks in the county office to do that. The county supervisors don’t want to lose those votes so your potholes will remain.
X is hemorrhaging. Perhaps there is a quid pro quo. “Please” build hundreds of spy satellites for a paltry $1.8B, and we won’t turn off the government servers that host X. It was probably a deal he couldn’t refuse? I would like to know if there is any John Galt in Elon
Subsidizing Tesla has been very good for Mr. Musk and his wallet.
It’s called the Pentagon’s BLACK BUDGET. Every expenditure is hidden from the public and can never be revealed. Of course infinitely more money is being dumped into SpaceX to unload satellites dedicated to spying on American citizens.
The never-ending obscene crap our tax money is used for. Against us.
Will this satellite system be able to gain access to the “internet connected” Dominion voting machines in 2024? Just asking.
If a program like this ever existed it would be classified, and we would never know it. More likely, the program has existed for a long time, and, for some reason, it is in the interest of the IC to release the information now. Jack’s Magic Coffee shop is still viable.
Anyone remember the Unknown Comic? This is the violent, dangerous version of that except it’s called the “Unknown Intelligence Agency”. Right now they are dancing around with your tax dollars, looking for ways to control you. And it’s nowhere near as funny as the original Unknown Comic.
Don’t trust him, but at least he called this out…
The Tic Toc bill is just another arm of the Patriot Act. The DC crowd doesn’t give one hoot about your kids or restricting China. It’s all a delusion.
Starshield is a business segment of SpaceX. The below article is from December 2022.
https://spacenews.com/spacex-rolls-out-new-business-line-focused-on-military-satellite-services/
“While Starlink is designed for consumer and commercial use, Starshield is designed for government use, with an initial focus on three areas: Earth observation, communications and hosted payloads,” the company said on its website.
Starshield products and services will include satellites with sensing payloads that can deliver processed data directly to the user, secure global communications and user equipment, and customized satellite buses.
Starshield also is capitalizing on SpaceX’s participation in the U.S. Space Force’s Space Development Agency’s missile-tracking and missile-detection constellation, where it partnered with Leidos to develop four classified infrared sensor satellites scheduled to launch before the end of the year.
Starshield satellites would be equipped with laser terminals to make them interoperable with military satellites.
In January 2023:
https://spacenews.com/with-starshield-spacex-readies-for-battle/
SpaceX’s website describes Starshield as a “secured satellite network for government entities” with an “initial focus” on direct delivery of processed Earth observation data, secure global communications enabled by inter-satellite laser links, and satellite buses for hosting “the most demanding customer payload missions.”
Under a 2020 contract, SpaceX teamed with Leidos Corp. to build four Tracking Layer satellites that are projected to launch in March.
In October 2023:
https://www.space.com/spacex-starshield-space-force-contract
SpaceX has won its first contract with the United States Space Force for its new Starshield satellite constellation.
The one-year contract is worth $70 million and was confirmed by a Space Force spokesperson in a statement given to CNBC. SpaceX has not yet commented on the contract.
The satellites will be able to communicate with existing Starlink satellites through a laser communications systems already aboard SpaceX’s massive broadband constellation, potentially boosting the range and capabilities of Starshield as the company and the Pentagon develop the new military-focused constellation.
As far as the comment about “physics problems”…here’s some technology more than 10 years old that was quite capable:
https://www.bitchute.com/video/TIRPJG6c9cni/
Elon has always been a trojan horse, starting off with a desire to create a world wide electronic payment system. Then there is the Neurolink device.
In 2013, under the Obama administration, DARPA launched the BRAIN Initiative; BRAIN is an acronym for Brain Research Through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies®. This program involves the development of brain-computer interface technologies for the military, particularly non-invasive, injectable systems that cause minimal damage to brain tissue when removed. Supposedly, this technology would be used for healing wounded soldiers with traumatic brain injuries, the direct brain control of prosthetic limbs, and even new abilities such as controlling drones with one’s mind.
Various methods have been proposed for achieving this, including optogenetics, magnetogenetics, ultrasound, implanted electrodes, and transcranial electromagnetic stimulation. In all instances, the goal is to obtain read or read-write capability over neurons, either by stimulating and probing them, or by rendering them especially sensitive to stimulation and probing.
However, the notion of the widespread use of BCI technology, such as Elon Musk’s Neuralink device, raises many concerns over privacy and personal autonomy. Reading from neurons is problematic enough on its own. Wireless brain-computer interfaces may interact with current or future wireless GSM infrastructure, creating neurological data security concerns. A hacker or other malicious actor may compromise such networks to obtain people’s brain data, and then exploit it for nefarious purposes.
Not only did he hire a WEF flunky to run X, but has meetings with others, like Macron:
https://www.bitchute.com/video/FFhMvX3BvyWf/
Musk is a transhumanist as well. His Neurolink product is something the WEF’s Yuval loves the idea of and the two’s ideas dovetail.
https://www.bitchute.com/video/D8NuDvSEEjdW/
Some asked about Musk’s early days – his first company was Paypal (which is where he stated his desire to create a worldwide electronic payment system that everyone used). He didn’t start Telsa, he did invest in it.
https://www.theverge.com/23815634/tesla-elon-musk-origin-founder-twitter-land-of-the-giants
His desire to have a banking and payment goliath is still unabated – and he is starting down that road again through X.
https://www.paymentsdive.com/news/elon-musk-twitter-digital-payments-wallet-banking/691078/
Elon Musk is a complex man wearing many hats and all of them have money making colors but I do think he has his principals and we have not yet hear the last of him.
Overhead surveillance from space to add to the existing online surveillance through social media (eg Musk’s Twitter/X) and physical mobility surveillance for anyone driving a Tesla or driving within range of the many cameras/sensors in every Tesla. Musk is certainly not the only one building the panopticon but he is a particularly successful builder. Zuck, G00gle, Micro$0ft, ATT, C0mc@st, Amaz0n and many others are also pitching in. All data is available for a price.
Elon is covering up his true side I believe. He is young, appeals to the youth, richest man, into tech that denominates control over the world and people. He doesn’t believe in Christ but would rather go to hell because all his friends will be there. Anti-Christ anyone?? IDK
