Catherine Herridge has been released from employment with CBS as a round of job terminations and cost cutting initiatives have been triggered.
Many people liked Herridge and she seemed to do a better job than normal given her position(s) inside the machinery. However, I lost most of my respect for Herridge approximately 4 years ago, and eventually just considered her a great pretender amid a multitude of big pretenders.
CBS News president Ingrid Ciprian-Matthews reportedly fired Herridge.

Catherine left Fox for a higher paying position at CBS; I heard her comment at an awards ceremony (via video) that the job at CBS was unexpected but the chance of a lifetime!

The rest of it is, many of them know they’ll take a hit in revenues when they go woke. But if they please their handlers enough (like maybe Paramount has not been doing?) maybe they get something under the table to keep them in the black (or at least afloat). There isn’t just one Georgyi Soros out there throwing down billions, not by a long shot.

I’m pretty sure Herridge will land on her feet. She probably has a noncompete for some period of time where she gets paid but can’t appear somewhere else; Tucker worked around it by going on YouTube for free.
She doesn’t have the cajones or the following Tucker has, plus he’s aging out.
I think she at least gave a decent appearance of being factual and impartial. More than I can say of some of the other FNC newsroom crew that dropped the mask now and again. No one is perfect. It’s been pointed out that some of these people are afraid they can’t make it outside the major media outlets, so they stay hostage. Tucker just said that he worked in multiple newsrooms, he always had controls over what he could say. I doubt it’s any different for Herridge.
But I realized how dead the network news was when I saw how I could get the raw data on the Internet, many times social media, read analysis by places like the Treehouse, and it’d take the network 6 months to a year to even acknowledge reality. Doubly so when Shep Smith hosted Napolitano when he got yanked off the air for bringing up 5 Eyes in SpyGate. The judge didn’t know what hit him and he came back as a bobblehead and weirdly anti-Trump. He was terrible at the pretending in an effort to keep his job. Ultimately it didn’t work. I figure Judge Jeanine is the same way. Too afraid to break out and see if she had a following. I guess its easier to sit on the Five than risk that steady paycheck and more freedom to speak your mind.
