I’ve been asked to keep you updated on some serious communication issues Sundance is encountering. We received the following this morning. Out of an abundance of caution, I’m omitting his location and past and future travel itinerary. I’m sure he’ll fill us all in on the details when he’s able to get back online.
Hey guys, major issues here. Just the cliff notes…
This from phone. My laptop and electronics mysteriously hard crash – won’t even power up.
Let readers know my comms issues; I’ll buy another laptop to get back online.
Lots to share later…
Love to all,
Sundance
Don’t forget to donate. Laptops cost money!
Done
Money for laptop and prayers all around
“Six ways to Sunday”
Most famously stated by Smucky Schemer.
Be safe Sundance. This of course means you are hitting them with the truth hard and are redpilling thousands & thousands. First they ignore you, then they do something like this
Sundance is hard as rock, not worried.
This too shall pass.
Keep the faith.
Prayers for Sundance’s safety.
May God protect Sundance as he travels and keep him from all harm.
AMEN!
Occasionally, a years-old laptop will fail to boot because the battery will not charge. If it is possible to remove the battery, do that and attempt to use it after plugging it in.
So sorry to hear this Sundance. I had my computer crash a couple years ago. It was a nightmare to say the least with my job which requires a computer. Praying for you to be up and running again.
Be safe Sundance. You are on my prayer list.
Thank you for all you do.
Sundance,
Go Grey Rock. All technology can be hacked and they will find you if that’s the goal and you put out a signal.
Trust in the Lord and He will bring you to safety. Technology is the tool of Satan. Stay safe and use all the skills God gave us preppers to survive and trust only Jesus, He will bring you home. God hears his children’s prayers.
God Bless You
Just a heads up to all you newbies…Sundance is of the feminine persuasion. In other words, a female. And I mean that in the most complimentary way!
I’m not sure what exactly you mean by this, but that’s not correct.
Oh, good grief.
Weed, got any of those shovels handy? I think there’s a shovel-ready job here—-
Ha! Where did you get THAT idea (which is WRONG)?
He pulled this yesterday and got slapped down hard.
Here again with the stupid.
Damned Troll.
Have you told it that for grizzlies trolls are edible?
I may be weak but I prefer 70% Lindt to 85% or 90%… (Had to give it all up though when T2DM caught me, LOL) Always lovely to see growl Ma.
Hello darlin’ boy.
So good to see you. I’m still outrunning most ailments, God bless me, and also trying to lay off the chocolate. My theory is the chocolate gene, once activated, cannot be de-activated.
Of course Im happy to find a troll or two…do I need to bring in some chocolate to make them go bananas?
Go away, Dwayne.
Yawn
The longer the wait the bigger the boom!!!
May God bless SD, CTH and the patriots who contribute here.
To repeat a previous post. Stay safe. I guess it’s a silly and obvious comment.
I know you are aware that the CIA and many others might be surveilling you just because of your journalistic support for President Trump alone.
Hope to hear soon that you are safe and home again.
I guess it’s a silly and obvious comment.
Nope. It’s a comment that can’t be repeated often enough:)
Dear God in Heaven
By the stripes of your Precious Son Jesus Christ, protect Sundance and President Trump … Dear Holy Spirit shower them with your SEVEN Gifts – in particular Wisdom and Knowledge … St Michael The Archangel surround them with your Angels for safe keeping. Amen.
Best to use a burner phone and burner laptop anytime you are out of the country.
The CIA and NSA are not supposed to spy on Americans in America (snicker, snicker, yeah… I know.) But they have free reign to scoop up anything overseas. That’s how they targeted Mike Flynn, George Papadopoulos, Carter Page, etc. Once they get into your machine (and they will) they can dig out everything on it, including everything historical you had from inside the USA.
Please be careful out there, Sundance.
Sending prayers for your safety and protection
Thank you for the update.
Wow. Stay SAFE, MAGA Brother!!! Hurrah Polish Farmers!!
Wishing you well and thinking good thoughts for your quick computer recovery.
We just updated computers at work and the Windows 11 has been nothing but problematic and glitchy since.
I hope Sundance can avoid those issues for his own well being.
I can’t stand how everything defaults to the cloud, is auto updated, and feels more and more like we are handing our important information to data farming.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he experienced a cyber attack. You know what they say… today’s conspiracies are tomorrow’s foregone conclusions.
Any business that mandates Windows 11 on their machines has a mongoloid running their IT department.
Agreed. Get some flavor of Linux. I’m currently Ubuntu 22.0 4xxx but may transition. Block ads and cookies wherever possible. Use VPN when possible. Just My opinion.
Hamburg Germany…
So colorful! lol
Please activate your klingon cloaking device and watch your six.
Prayers up.
“The Shadow knows”
I bet one of those NCIS wizards would be able to find a reflection of some revealing nature in that pic? LOL (Watching too many TV reruns… Nice pic!)
Sundance , pull the battery out of the laptop, disconnect the power plug from the laptop, then hold the power supply button down for at least 2 minutes. Some laptops the power button needs to be pushed on and off for at least 10 times. Then plug in the power supply and leave the battery disconnected. Then push the Power Supply Button and hope it starts up.
If the power supply has a light and is lit up the power supply should be ok. If it does not have a light use a voltmeter to test the Power Supply for proper voltage. Buy a new Power Supply to see if that works.
If it has a bottom cover with removable memory. Make sure the memory is inserted and locked in place. if possible insert new memory cards . bad memory or not inserted memory will cause a laptop not to start.
If you can find a Computer Repair store they can generally get your machine up and running .
IT Professional, here . . . .
The post above is EXCELLENT!
Sundance, besides laptop battery issues, the main reason for a system not to boot is either bad or improperly seated RAM (memory) or a bad motherboard. Since you’ve been traveling, the RAM could have been dislodged ever so slightly causing your system not to boot. Also, since voltage is different abroad, I wonder if there could have been an issue–in spite of using a voltage adapter. A power surge can fry equipment. When a power supply goes bad, it usually smells like something has burned.
When a computer is powered down and unplugged, RAM can be reseated (reinserted) or replaced (though the new RAM needs to be compatible with the motherboard). Make sure to ground yourself first. You can get a grounding wrist strap, or touch both palms to a refrigerator to ground yourself to the cold water line.
Hard drives go bad sometimes, but usually act up first with weird data behaviors, slowness, booting errors, or scraping type sounds while booting or in use.
Vantex Data Recovery (based in New Hampshire and formerly called Excalibur) is a reliable place to use so that your data isn’t lost; the two companies merged and kept the Vantex name; they’ve both been in business for approximately 30 years. You literally ship Vantex the hard drive (or drives) and receive your data on a CD or USB. Here’s the link:

VPN’s are great for protecting your identity and location. My personal favorite (I have NO connection to any VPN provider or company) is Proton VPN (though I have noticed that banks won’t allow you to log in using a VPN, anymore, so you have to temporarily disconnect from the VPN).
You can run Linux (a form of UNIX) on your laptop, too. UNIX is a very powerful and secure operating system. This used to be quite complicated and something that only techies tried, but it’s easy for a non-tech minded person to do so, now, as long as he or she sets it up correctly. You can also set up a dual-boot configuration (be careful about the hard drive partitions so you don’t accidentally wipe out any data) so that you can run two operating systems and boot into either at will. Here are two really informative links:

Safe travels my friend!
Dear Lord, please keep him safe and out of harm’s reach.
GWJ
I’m sure it’s just some strange coincidence, right?? Praying for your safety, Sundance. The Treehouse Community is here for you.
Praying for you guys. Stay safe.
Thanks for the update, Ad rem. And I appreciate your going the extra mile to keep us informed, Sundance.
Praying God’s protection and safe travels for you, as well as his provision for a good deal on a better laptop. And we pray against any more attacks of the enemy during your mission on the road. Be safe, and Godspeed…
If the drives won’t boot:
Linux can ‘see’ every file on any disk drive. And recover them. And create a restorable image.
Imaging a drive in Windoze is fairly easy with free or cheap Win software. Invaluable in system restoration.
In Linux, TimeShift creates a restorable backup of all files. Restores a system in 15 minutes.
“Like it never happened.”
Not keeping an image or restorable backup is kind of short sighted.
RAID drives are not as secure as a complete image of the system.
Just a thought.
I have a work computer. One of the first things I was told is don’t save stuff on the computer. When it goes, everything goes …..and you will cry…….alot. I keep everything on a flash drive. My computer crashed after a few years. And with very little warning. I was relaxed. I had my stuff on a flash drive, got the new computer, never missed a beat. Of course, that flash drive is like gold and it’s either in the computer or in a small plastic kitchen container thing in my computer bag.
And probably for folks who travel alot, keep that flash drive separate from computer. So, if computer stolen, nothing is on it and you have your stuff.
And your computer is probably worth nearly $0 compared to what you have saved.
Soldier on, brother.
I have been thinking strongly of Sundance ever since he left for his trip. 🙏 Hope electronic issues can be fixed and he is safe.
Must be doing something right!
Sundance, you ROCK! Take care of yourself. We need you.
Sundance, you are in my prayers every morning! God bless and keep you safe!!!
Faraday bags might have helped?
Maybe it’s the deep state, or maybe it’s the European 230/240 v power.
God be with you Sundance; I’ll be keeping you in prayer. God bless.
Can’t keep a good man down! 🙏♥️🇺🇲
