After visiting all 99 counties in Iowa and failing to win a single one, specifically because he visited all 99 counties in Iowa, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis declared the dark, unknown and mysterious forces of universe tried to stop him, “threw everything at him,” yet he alone stands victorious.
Yeah, he actually said that.
The DeSantis campaign put most of their resources into Iowa and gained a total of 23,000 votes (roughly 21%), quickly declaring victory in a tenuous 2nd place finish and proclaiming their victory ticket has been punched. The cognitive disconnect is exceptionally strong; but hey, everyone has a role to play – right? WATCH:
IOWA – DeSantis took the stage for a few minutes at a campaign party in West Des Moines after he secured second place.
“Because of your support, in spite of all of that they threw at us, everyone against us — we’ve got our ticket punched out of Iowa,” he said.
DeSantis spent millions in the Hawkeye State, visited all 99 counties and cultivated the endorsements of popular Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds. Never Back Down, the super PAC supporting his candidacy, also spent more than nine months building a ground game and appointing 1,600 precinct captains across the state. (MORE)

What a total liar.
Liar.
“They” spent a gazillian dollars? Ron must be looking in the mirror, or at a photo of all the WEF puppets who are throwing money at his campaign.
Ron is a narcissist, big time. They can’t comprehend the truth, so they can’t speak the truth, especially when it involves them.
So yeah, in lil’ ronnie’s head, heck, he is, as Sundance says, the 1st Loser, and he’s gonna celebrate that.
Is he trying to pretend like he didn’t spend a lot of money too? And by using the word “they” is he trying to include Trump in his bizarre rant? From a CNN article:
In recent weeks, Haley and DeSantis – who are jockeying to emerge as the leading alternative to Trump, the Iowa polling front-runner – have pummeled one another on the airwaves with blistering ads that accuse their opponent of failing to confront the economic and national security threat posed by China and attacking their records as governor. All the while, they’ve largely steered clear of targeting Trump.
Haley’s political network has spent the most on advertising in the Hawkeye State, with the super PAC supporting her campaign, SFA Fund, ranking as the top advertiser after spending over $31 million on ads. Haley’s campaign has spent an additional $4.9 million on its own advertising.
Behind Haley, DeSantis’ operation has spent the second-most on Iowa advertising – a trio of super PACs formed to support his presidential bid has spent over $31 million on ads in Iowa, while DeSantis’ campaign chipped in about $3 million more in advertising there.
Meanwhile, Trump’s super PAC, MAGA Inc., has spent about $11.4 million advertising in Iowa, ranking as the third largest individual advertiser, and his campaign has spent an additional $6.8 million. The Trump network’s combined ad spending is significantly less than his two leading challengers and their allies. Still, Trump has consistently enjoyed a wide polling lead in the first nominating state.
Trump spent the least and had the best result. 🙂
That is because everything that neoconservative globalists market turns to SHEET.
Even Stevie Wonder can read the writing on the wall. Yet he stays. Either the swamp has something evil planned, or meatball is truly mentally deficient.
Who are these 23,000 voters who thought DeSantis is a better choice for president over Trump?
Are there any Treepers with a strong understanding of the current DSM? What disorder is this?
Psychopathic megolmaniac?
Maybe just desperate for money. He wants to be rich like Trump is.
Looks more like Desantis’ face has been punched.
Get over yourself Ron. Trump beat you (and Haley) in a landslide. You should have waited a couple of years. People are already tired of you.
Trump ’24 MAGA
To my way of thinking this is just hope against hope that the Deep Staters come up with something big.
LOL! Who are you kidding Rod?
Go away, Deep State DeSanctus. I like that. Deep State DeSanctus. I hope it catches on.
Taterhead in waiting
I am still not voting for the man with lifted shoes if he by some chance wins the Republican nomination for President.
The man claimed victory in a loss.
Such nonsense.
I know. Deep State DeSanctus is such an arrogant axhole.
This Elevator does not go to the top floor. Is there any state where polling shows him in the lead? Then GO HOME.
Maybe the State of Confusion?
Dear god, that’s like Ambrose Burnside claiming victory after Fredericksburg.
Because the casualty rate wasn’t 5 to 1 in the AoNV’s favour.
Hey does anyone know if DeSantis managed to use the bazillions in his Florida Governor campaign fund for his Presidential run? FEC doesn’t allow it but I have no doubt they managed to find some way to launder the money and convert it. After DeSantis won his second Florida Gov term, and it meant he could not run for a consecutive third, the big-money anti-Trump donors were still pouring money into that fund. Obviously for his Presidential run.
I believe it was rolled into one of his PACs.
DeSantis was whining about media predicting a Trump win in Iowa before the voting had been completed. What about him using state campaign funds for a presidential run? That’s much more serious. It’s just another reason to hate DeSantis.
I found this:
https://www.politico.com/news/2023/12/18/complaint-desantis-campaign-never-back-down-00132325
A watchdog group that has already filed several complaints against Gov. Ron DeSantis is now alleging that the Florida Republican and a super PAC aiding his presidential bid violated federal campaign finance laws.
DeSantis’ reliance on Never Back Down, which was set up with an infusion of more than $80 million transferred from a committee that once was raising money for the governor’s 2022 reelection campaign, has already generated a lot of questions and scrutiny.
Never Back Down has used its resources to pay for a ground operation in the crucial state of Iowa and has routinely hosted events with DeSantis — a move that some suggested tested the legal limits.
Now, Washington, D.C.-based Campaign Legal Center wants federal election regulators to look at whether Never Back Down, which has been in turmoil lately amid a rash of firings and departures of top staff, including top strategist Jeff Roe, worked hand-in-hand with the DeSantis campaign despite federal laws that prohibit coordination between the two.
That was just in late December so it will be interesting to see what happens. DeSantis is turning out to be as scummy as any Democrat.
So after Nikki was supposedly the new anointed one – Ron’s narrow 2nd place victory over her last night – does this mean Ron gets back to good graces of Fox and other anti -Trumpers and back to that 1st loser position? Or was this a so-called “dead cat bounce “ for him ( a stock market term ) – and Nikki will still be the anointed one? ~IDK – Remains to be seen I guess ?
Good question. I might actually watch MSM to see if you’re right, I suspect you are.
Wondered the same thing. Tricky Nikki only took third place after becoming the apparent chosen one and having democrats crash the party to vote for her. I thought they might toss her and go all in on Ron for the loss. I would think someone would stay in to the end.
Nah, they will wait until after New Hampshirew because she will surely beat Meatball there.
They don’t care which of those two wins; it is the same; look at the crossover donors. The same people support both of them. However, each of them brings a different talent- Meatball has studied MAGA speak and uses his broken MAGA talk to woo RINOS and mouth breathers. Meanwhile, Nimrata is John Bolton in a dress. Her stache may not be as bushy if you look closely, but it’s just as gross.
Both are still hoping that Trump gets taken out by law fare. Only reason they are running.
Or by death. That makes me sick.
It will come down to who wears heels better.
Little ronnie doesn’t have the courage to admit, that he’ll never be any better than a second place candidate. You’re going to be losing supporters, because they see what you refuse to see.
Come back you coward! It’s just a flesh wound!
Ahhhhh, runnin’ away, are ya?
Substitute Ukraine for Dedumass and you get the same rhetoric. Double down, triple down on nonsense. They never have a plan B because you know, they’re the smartest people in the room doncha know?
Common denominator- Pushaw
Yep, Plastic Tina.
Just remember everyone, Kasich didn’t drop out in 2016 until May 4. Cruz dropped out on May 3 but he actually had a remote chance of winning the nomination, Kasich did not.
That guy the other day was completely correct when he gave this moron a participation trophy.
Maybe he mis-spoke and meant he got his face punched?
He is the personification of my dear old Dad’s favorite saying: If a man knows not and knows not that he knows not, he’s a fool….shun him. Ron, apparently “knows not” that he lost and he also “knows not” that his efforts over the last six months or so have deemed him irrelevant and inconsequential. He is done.
The six week abortion ban he signed long ago did him in.
“Mission Accomplished.”
It is becoming clearer that Haley and DeSantis will stay in the race till the very end because they believe Trump will be taken out.
Agree with you on that one. DeSantis especially thinks it.
Of course, they think that. Do you think only the Uniparty DAs and Prosecutors involved with Trump’s cases are speaking with the WH? They may be the only ones visiting, but you know darn well Rona is making sure the RNC keeps in touch with Uniparty Joe and his plans because his plans are their plans because they are Uniparty plans.
How does Trump get Republican phonies to leave their cover and show themselves in the open?
He runs for President.
Come again Ron? Did you just say the media is in the tank for Donald Trump?
Uniparty has a new village Idiot.
Time to find new platforms to run on Little Ron (for your boots I mean).
Best comment on the YouTube video:
“I’ve never seen a guy so happy to lose by 30 points.”
Ron’s been drinking too much of his own Kool-Aid.
He and Nikki debasing themselves for donor money waiting for the hammer to drop on MAGA.
Ain’t happening losers , we go full steam ahead, neither of you will placed if that’s what you are banking on.
They’ve been drinking Kool-Aid alright.
The Stupid is strong with this one.
More like got his throat punched….
He’s too delusional to be President…..
Nimrata is the most toxic (to me), and though I’d never vote for him I can’t help but get a kick out of RINO Ronnie at this point.
Read, Bullet point #6…
“Bring out the First Lady!”
Did he get vaxxed!?
He got punched alright
After watching and listening to DeSantis and Haley for the past several years, I’ll write in another candidate before voting for either.
Retired Magistrate here: DeSantis is such a jerk. Every time I think he can’t get worse, he does.
Poor Meatball…not!
He meant that he got his meal ticket punched.
Well we know for sure it’s not a ticket on the Trump Train.
Loser.
Nikki plans to cut Medicare and Social Security to pay for the Ukrainian War and perhaps other military misadventures.
Let’s remember that the over-arching goal of the the UniParty — the Democrats and their GOP Establishment allies — is to keep Donald Trump out of the White House.
With 95% of the vote counted, here are the Iowa caucus results:
Donald Trump — 56,260 votes — 51% — 20 delegates
Ron DeSantis — 23,420 votes — 21% — 9 delegates
Nikki Haley — 21,085 votes — 19% — 8 delegates
Donald Trump is already the presumptive Republican nominee. Any candidates in the 2024 election cycle who honestly call themselves ‘Republicans’ would recognize the reality of the situation and announce their support for President Trump right here, right now.
But will this actually happen?
Possibly not. I speculate here that DeSantis and Haley will stay in the contest through the spring of 2024 and even on up through the convention, billing themselves as “the conscience of the Republican Party.”
The objective here is to keep Donald Trump and his campaign staff heavily engaged in the primary season contest, spending time and money on the primaries which are better spent on the fall campaign and on supporting the election integrity movement.
What will happen after Donald Trump is formally nominated at the Milwaukee summer convention? Will Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley then endorse him? Will other GOP Establishment types — e.g. the Bushies and their ilk — endorse him?
My guess is that they won’t. My guess is that after Donald Trump is formally nominated, DeSantis and Haley plus the Bushies will then throw in their lot with the Democrats and will be handsomely rewarded if Joe Biden or Gavin Newsom is installed as president in January 2025.
Tricky Nikki and Meatball have probably already called Ted Cruz to ask how not to look like an ass at the convention. Hopefully Ted declines the calls.
At what point will all Republicans support Trump, with the exception of Karl Rove?
This isn’t a horse race. It’s like watching paint dry.
Attaboy Ron! Just slap a fresh coat of paint on your loser cam-pain and maybe the deep state will keep funding you.
Better watch out though. The candidate from Boeing is gaining on you.
Sununu is all in for Nikki but the good people of NH are on to them. She and little Ron Ron are gonna get smacked real good.
Thanks to Sundance and Jeff Kuhner WRKO radio in Boston the citizens of the “Live Free or Die ” state are on high alert.
Ron got his clock cleaned too.
DeSantis & Haley will keep campaigning until their overloads cut off the money; which means they won’t stop even if they are polling at 1%. They will still suck up all the positive media and money. I am afraid the GOP voters needs to start vocally letting them know in no uncertain terms that they are just spoiler candidates and are trying to make sure that they will never be truly represented. Their implicit cooperation with the deep state and globalists is not a game and they are not funny or cute. It is time to stop being kind to these traitors and shout them off the stage.
People need to stay home and not attend their events. Let them talk to the walls.
He did get his participation trophy!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
what a pogue
Is he gay?
He Was in the Navy, so it’s very possible.
😉
Ticket punched or butt kicked….you decide.
i think he meant to say “we got sucker punched”
You have to wonder how well Desantis might have done had he spent more time being governor of Florida instead of all of his time campaigning.
More like a toe tag…..
If RDS is fighting mysterious forces, he ought to investigate Nikki Haley and her campaign/donors.
