As the DNC is telling New Hampshire Democrats the upcoming primary is “meaningless,” the background Democrat control officers like David Plouffe are telling them to vote for Nikki Haley. The New Hampshire Attorney General has had enough of this manipulative scheming and sends a letter to the DNC telling them to stop. [Letter pdf HERE]
Forgive me…. but I am laughing a little. When you work as hard as we have to showcase the fraud within the two-private-corporation election system (DNC & RNC), year after year, after year, this type of stuff is just gold, GOLD.
You see, there comes a point in the display of the marionette strings when they just start glowing so brightly, those who try to retain pretenses can no longer support the ruse. Yes, finally, the DNC bloom comes off the ruse.
NEW HAMPSHIRE (NBC) – The Democratic Party’s infighting over the New Hampshire primary just got litigious.
The New Hampshire attorney general’s office on Monday sent a cease-and-desist order to the Democratic National Committee after the national party demanded state Democrats “educate the public” that their upcoming presidential primary is “meaningless.”
In its letter to the DNC, the New Hampshire attorney general’s office declared that that demand was illegal voter suppression and warned the DNC to stop trashing their primary or risk “further enforcement action.”
“Telling any person qualified to register to vote or vote in New Hampshire that the January 23, 2024, New Hampshire democratic Presidential Primary Election is ‘meaningless’… constitutes an attempt to prevent or deter New Hampshire voters from participating [in the primary]… in violation of RSA 659:40, III,” Assistant Attorney General Brendan O’Donnell wrote in the order to the DNC, citing a portion of the state’s voting rights law.
“This matter remains open, and this Office reserves the right to take further enforcement action based on the actions described in this letter and any other actions that violate State election laws,” O’Donnell concludes.
The DNC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The back-and-forth is the latest fallout from the DNC’s attempt, under direction from President Joe Biden, to demote the New Hampshire primary for his party. The New Hampshire Republican primary remains unchanged. (read more)
PREVIOUSLY – […] “I think it’s probably too distasteful for a lot of people. But for those who would be up for it, to do something tactically—I don’t know if it would stop Trump, but, you know, it could help extend the primary.” … “I think, when you look out in the rest of the states, Trump’s clearly a dominant favorite, but in a two-person race, there’s a healthy number of Republicans who are open to an alternative if she’s the only one. So, I think for liberals, or Democrats, or independents who might not ever support Nikki Haley to be the president to cast a strategic or tactical vote, to me, makes a lot of sense.” ~ David Plouffe
I believe the DNC is correct that the New Hampshire primary, and all the other democrat primaries, are meaningless because the democrats have those super delegates. These delegates are free to vote for any candidate and that doesn’t have to be the one that got them most votes. In other words, the DNC will determine who the democrat candidate for the 2024 election will be not the voters.
Of course, Democrats voting in a primary is meaningless. The DNC gets 40% of the vote so their candidate only needs 11%.
This is Nancy Pelosi’s idea of a Democracy.
North Korean democracy. This is why they need to “protect democracy” LOL. They need to protect their kind of “democracy.”
15%as I have read it, not 40%
demonRATS and their RINO lackeys MUST lie, cheat and steal – or they lose.
I think you are mistaken. The number of “automatic” unpledged delegates I don’t think has been released, but in 2020 was 771 of a total of 4,750 or 16%. I don’t see any significant rule change in the 2024 delegate selection plan. Note that it is possible for state parties to elect uncommitted delegates within their district/ at-large delegations. Also automatic delegates include more than just DNC members.
Of course, once the convention adjourns, any candidate vacancy is filled by the DNC.
As a new voter in Idaho I just learned that we have an open primary here where Demonrats vote for squishy RINOs and this is why we keep getting squishy RINOs voted in office. Isn’t that a form of voter suppression? Are there any Idaho voters here who can give more details? I will also start doing some research on this myself
That is entirely up to the idaho republican party.
Hence, how you get squishy RINOs
Each and every State with an open primary is under suspicion in my view. Funny that, how it only benefits Dems and also weakens and even upends Repub candidates. So funny i forgot to laugh.
It is past time to end this tom-foolery and these shenanigans by the Left.
Idaho statute regarding May state primary:
34-904A. ELIGIBILITY TO VOTE IN PRIMARY ELECTIONS. (1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, an elector who has designated a party affiliation shall be allowed to vote only in the primary election of the political party for which such an elector is so registered.
(2) A political party qualified to participate in elections pursuant to section 34-501, Idaho Code, may, no later than the last Tuesday in the November prior to a primary election, notify the secretary of state in writing that the political party elects to allow, in addition to those electors who have registered with that political party, any of the following to vote in such party’s primary election:
(a) Electors designated as unaffiliated;
(b) Electors registered with a different political party qualified to participate in elections pursuant to section 34-501, Idaho Code. In the event a state chairman of a political party elects to allow electors to vote in that party’s primary election pursuant to this paragraph, the state chairman shall identify which political parties’ registrants are allowed to vote in such primary election.
With respect to 904a(2)(a) and (b), IRP did not notify the Idaho SoS of intent to allow those electors to vote in the Republican Primary.
You need closed primaries and 90 day before voting registration. No late changes and certainly no day-of changes!!
That’s the McConnell Way … he uses his million$$$ of PAC dollars to defeat Conservatives and replace them with RINOS or RATS.
Yep, the Turdle Way, our Senator Johnston was on the radio this morning and stated that PO(Uniparty)S is setting up the R’s to take the blame for both the border and Ukraine.
Why are you asking the internet about Idaho voter law???? ASK YOUR STATE REP AND SENATOR!!!!
Start with Rep. Heather Scott. An A+++ solid conservative representative in Northern Idaho.
Better: ask your precinct committeeman or county chairman.
The precinct in my liberal city that I work for, has a Democrat sitting in the Republican Chairman position! Last election, he stated that there is “NO REASON” to believe elections are rigged!
I think that in the old days, like 60-70 years go, an open primary was not a problem, as it gave “independent” voters and others who were sincerely unsure of which party’s candidate they favored, they could vote for. IMO, in the long ago past, this was done as an act of good faith in the electorate.
But NO MORE. The Dems and the DNC have violated the “good measure” plan and have infiltrated elections and worse.
It is past time for State legislators to revert back to voters registering for a specific Party and only voting for that Party, in the Primary, if voting at all.
The whole primary concept was pushed by progressive republican WI gov Robt LaFollette and other progressives of the early 20th century. They wanted “open” as part of their progressive ideals.
And limiting the number of times one can change their affiliation.
As you do your research:
Section 1: Unless the Idaho legislature acts before October 1, 2023, or the relevant RNC deadline, to restore the March Presidential Primary election and instruct the Idaho Secretary of State, according to Idaho Statutes, to conduct a Presidential Primary election on the first or second Tuesday of March in a Presidential Election year, the Idaho Republican Presidential Caucus shall be held on the first Saturday in March of a Presidential election year. The Idaho Republican Presidential Caucus is not winner-take-all, unless a candidate receives more than 50% of the votes cast. If the Idaho Legislature chooses before October 1, 2023, or the relevant RNC deadline, to reinstate the March Presidential Primary, then the Idaho Republican Party rules governing that process revert to the rules as revised in January of 2023.
Idaho did not pass a law, so IRP has reverted to a caucus to be held Sat, 2 Mar 24.
Section 8: All registered electors that have affiliated with the Republicans Party in the county on record as of January 1 of a Presidential election year, as well as any voters who turn 18 between January 1 and the date of the Presidential Caucus and who sign an affidavit declaring that they have registered to vote and affiliate with the Republican Party within that period and are therefore eligible to vote in Idaho elections shall be eligible to participate.
State primary is 21 May. 15 Mar is the cutoff to affiliate as a Republican
Instead of guessing about things, contact your precinct committeeman.
The DNC crossed the bright red line when they made Plouffe’s idea into their official strategy for the state.
Tactical voting is not unreasonable for Democrats. If they can make Trump appear weaker and extend the primary, it’s a win (albeit a small one) While I do not like David Plouffe, he’s not saying anything different than Rush Limbaugh’s “Project Chaos”, which I participated in. In my state, the primaries are closed meaning I must vote for someone in my declared party. Therefore, I am a declared democrat – and vote each election to prop up whomever presents the most severe challenge to the democrat candidate.
Someone should pull tape of the MSM losing their mind over Project Chaos. At the time it was breathlessly portrayed as a historic attack on democracy – but a few short years later, it’s DNC policy!
In the 70’s and 80’s I lived in NH. I always registered as an independent so I could vote in either primary. In 78 I voted for Jimmy Carter! I thought it might be my only chance ever to vote against Teddy Kennedy and I didn’t want to miss it. It worked.
A lot of voting seems to be against rather than for, sadly.
typo, cds1? The Jimmeh election was held in 1976, and he somehow won (still a strong-hold in the Deep South for Dems?) Then in 1980, Ronald Reagan, thank God, tromped him
Personally, I think Jimmeh had a good heart and meant well. However, meaning well doesn’t cut it as POTUS of the entire USA and the Global Leader of the world.
Why “we” voted for him still boggles my mind.
And I’m guilty also. Carter was my vote in the first Presidential election I was able to vote in! When Reagan was able to release the Iranian’s hostages, DAY ONE, I was starting to doubt my ideals. Yet, I kept voting D for almost two decades.
P.S. I’m no longer WOKE, I am AWAKE.
Jimmeh’s good heart is due to good press.
Have heard plenty of stories about how vindictive he actually is.
I participated in Project Chaos as well. This difference here, in my opinion, is the letter that was sent from the DNC stating the primary to be “meaningless”.
Several weeks ago, there was a report about the wave of D’s leaving the party and becoming R’s. I warned then that this was most likely in order to disrupt the R’s Primaries. It is nice to be proven right, and their followers are absolute scum, fairness, honor and love of country are meaningless to them and always has been. The D Party should have been banned in 1865. Although I have found no proof, I am certain the British loyalists were the ones that started the D Party.
The Democrat Party is the original Party of slavery, which included almost nobody who was loyal to the British. These were the plantation owners who manged to slide the 3/5 of a person clause into the Census mandate. I also think that the political battle is always about shifting policy stances so as to shift issue voters from the opposing Party to your own. The Republican Party was a resurrection of the Whig Party, most of whom were originally British loyalists. Their opposition to slavery and to secession built a formidable political coalition. They called themselves Liberals at that time. Democrats have always been usurpers.
Both Parties have evolved into large corporations and now they want their control of the political marketplace of ideas. Ideas that mean nothing to them other than for monetary gain. There will never be any keeping our Republic unless We the People oppose both of them at the polls. This is what is happening and the Parties have united at the top levels to prevent what they see as their potential bankruptcies. The Demcommies want control, the Repugs want money, and the power comes from the profits of both. Messing with the nominating process comes quite natural to Demcommies because winning the elections gives them what they want. Until controlling elections is no longer needed for hanging on to their power. And, as a consequence, the Repugs money will become worthless to them. We may be too far down the road towards that perdition for the Constitution to survive.
The Whig Party, like both major parties in the American system was a fusion / coalition party mainly united by being anti-Jackson. At inception, the greater faction was New England Federalists like Webster but they were too few in number so needed to include other factions.
As a coalition, it was difficult developing a national platform and candidates for pres and VP (in the language of the day, an “available candidate”, meaning one who wasn’t an immediate “No” tto some party faction). Thus Whigs could only win the presidency by nominating nominal Whigs with military fame (Gens Harrison and Taylor) who might be characterized as WINOs. Harrison’s VP wasn’t even a Whig (Tyler) rather “States Rights” party. Taylor had the only true Whig as VP (Fillmore). Fillmore was unsuccessful in getting nominated for a full term, instead Whigs once again went with a nominal Whig general, Scott.
As the party broke up Fillmore would try to continue Whig ideas by embracing immigration reform through creation of a nativist, American Party intended to attract “Know Nothings” and others who might be termed the MAGA of their day.
Conservative Whigs tended to gravitate towards the Democrats, seeing them as a way to avoid “agitation” of the slavery issue. Republicans were the party of progressives (see some of Marx and Engels writings of this period). Lincoln actually went so far as to dump the Republicans in 1864 by creating the National Union Party, at which convention they got rid of progressive VP Hamlin and instead put up Dem Johnson. Rs for their part put up John Fremont (same as in 56) but gave up prior to Nov election.
Of course after the civil war Rs could wave the “bloody shirt” and ensure the veteran vote, regardless of platform.
I know of a bunch of Democrats who, for the last two or three years, are simply aghast at what is happening. They are not saying it out loud but I think many are simply not voting. They are seem so confused as to what voting ANYTHING in might bring. They do not like Trump, naturally. But for the wrong reasons. They have a hang up about his personality. I have actually asked them what awful thing happened to themselves or their service age children during Trump’s tenure and of course they cannot pinpoint anything tangible other than they impeached him? When asked for what they cannot tell me exactly. I think there are ore than a few OLD Democrat voters out here that either will not vote or will vote for Robert Kennedy. That is a REAL possibility. Like the Republicans, they are looking for a fresh face and not educated enough to realize Haley may as well be DeSantis or McCarthy…or ALAS McConnell.
Are you up to date on how many “R”s have left the Party, and in particular the House???
A violation of election law to say the election is meaningless.
There used to be a first amendment.
Live Free or Die – most have chosen to die.
Haley is a UN globalist and they may actually be correct in saying the primary is meaningless. George Carlin said it years ago, the system is ‘bought and sold’. The UN is apparently publishing and distributing invasion maps, so maybe time to deport and defund the UN/WHO/ et.al. If international NGO’s are running the show then US voters may as well trashcan their ballots.
It’s actually a federal crime. It would not take a much to extrapolate some cockamamie legal theory to peruse federal charges against the DNC. If we are being honest, the same thought process is being used against the former POTUS. It is a bit tacky but at this point strongly worded statements are also “meaningless” .
“The DNC Bloom is off the Ruse”… love it!!
When an AG issues an indictment for election interference, then and only then will I will be convinced an AG is really serious!! Until then, it is just blah, blah!
Are you even aware of who our USA AG is????
After ballot
manufacturing and stealingharvesting, the two most poisonous election fraud measures are stinky rank-choice voting, and open primaries. And they still can only be fought at the local level.
When we finally get a replacement for the RINO party, the primaries need to be entirely closed and require voter ID – preferably a valid passport!
Your comment has been echoed by many in the past. It just is not going to happen.
Sounds like grounds to remove all DNC candidates from the November ballot.
Exactly
The most irrelevant and worthless thing in the Republic is a vote for Haley, be it by democrats or RINOs.
Nimrata is ineligible. Vivek is as well.
The Demonic party will nevertheless come out in droves to vote for Nikki.
When, oh when, oh when, will people stop referring to this country as a democracy? Or have we reached the point where a lie told often enough becomes the truth?
The USA is a constitutional representative republic.
As far as I know, the whole republic/democracy thing is a relic of the 50s/60s where there was a felt need to draw a contrast to various communist countries which styled themselves “democratic”. As Cicero pointed out in De Re Publica (51 BC) , there are 3 forms of government, monarchy, aristocracy, and democracy. In his view, the best form for a republic was “mixed” with elements of all three forms to provide checks and balances.
Keeping Trump off the ballot was last straw for me.
I hope we don’t have another Civil War. (And civil is the dumbest word to ever put in front of the word war)
Maybe rebellion or insurgency is better?
A functional human being couldn’t possibly be this stupid.
DeJa Vu All Over Again…
Rush Limbaugh, “So at this point, the purpose of Operation Chaos is not to choose a specific nominee, and it wasn’t from the get-go to pick a specific nominee. The purpose of Operation Chaos is what you see. It was to keep the race going so that there would be hatred, animosity, and political bloodletting between Hillary and Barack Obama and their forces “
Really enjoyed the picture of Ronna McRomney. The Rat Faced Girl is so photogenic!
Yes, it is gold, but it is also a sign. Have you seen the other democrat races around the country squabbling and suing each other over election fraud? If they were involved in 2020 fraud why wouldn’t they try it again only against their own?
Will they try it against Trump again? Sure. The difference this time is that people are on to them. You don’t rob a bank twice using the same tactics but you surely will steal the loot after your rival gang steals it for you. After that you get gang warfare. in the midst of that you have one side ratting out the other side because if your rival gets arrested, you may be home free, unless they spill the beans against you.
You see how the fraudsters will get caught? Some selfish democrats will eventually confess to the 202o fraud because if their opponent does it first, they will win. If you were part of the fraud and knew your opponent was using it against you, your only course may be to turn them in to save yourself.
It could start an avalanche of confessors because whoever does it first stays out of jail. The factions within the party can use this against the other factions just like members of a gang when the cops are closing in. They can’t help themselves because this is what criminals do. They are in it strictly for themselves at some point.
Democrats do not have to accept the ruse. They will just lie. Lie in the face of unequivocal evidence. Well, most be okay, Republicans like Crispy Creme and Pence doing it all the time.
must
Bloom comes off the ruse. Groan.
‘It’s not enough to stop David Plouffe. His kind must be destroyed, to never rise again.’
~ Parody of Plouffe’s Tweet against Trump in 2016
Says it all about Nikki Haley
We need to get Vivek ahead of Nikki (which i honestly think he is anyway)that way they can’t vote for her!
I thought Nikki Hailey was not eligible to stand for President (or VP), since, although born in South Carolina, she is not a Natural Born Citizen, because her parents were naturalised after she was born. USA Today claims it is irrelevant that her parents were born in India, according to constitutional experts Michael Morley and Mark Seidenfeld, both law professores at Florida State. However, the US Constitution, to the best of my knowledge (UK citizen, so no expert) requires that both parents are US citizens at the time of birth. Thank you for your time and please accept my apologies if I am wrong.
As far as I know, the law requires that at least one parent must be a natural born citizen.
The problem is that I read a report ( didn’t keep details, unfortunately) which indicated that the mother of NH was not naturalised until 10 years after the birth of NH. Furthermore, it suggested that her father had never been naturalised. If this is true, and it should be readily verifiable, then she would not be eligible for either position.
Worse still, if she stood, despite this, and were elected, therein would lie an immediate cause for an eligibility challenge by the Democrats, which could well be successful. End result, the Democrat challenger elected by default, irrespective of the vote totals. Is this what some people are plotting to achieve?
Please add to my reply re citizen parents at time of birth, for natural born citizen and NH. Article from Paul Ingrassia (American Greatness Jan 1st 2024) indicates that mother was naturalised in 1978 and father in 2003. They were both Lawful Residents at the time of NH birth, but not Citizens and could not have ‘conferred’ Natural Born Citizenship to NH. She is therefore ineligible to serve in the President or VP position and should not be on the GOP ballot, unless RINOs are looking for a Democrat legal challenge ‘After’ the election, with the Democrat awarded the position by default, after the challenge, as suggested above!
Haley is native born, not natural born as the Constitution requires to serve in the Presidency. She should not be on a GOP ballot.
Why did that guy(R) just get convicted for making a joke about going to the polls, something.
But this blatant sacrilege activism (D) intended to distort an election in the partisan favor of one party gets a pass?
Sundance a correction please….”When you work as hard as we have to showcase the fraud within the two-private-corporation election system (DNC & RNC), year after year, after year, this type of stuff is just..” (g)old, (G)OLD.
This is exactly what the D Party is doing. I am a Town Clerk in NH. My locale is 8-1 Dems to Reps. Tracking the Absentee Ballots we are sending out before the Presidential Primary, the ratio is 2-1 Dem to Rep. This is a phenomenal statistic in a locale that has had only a smattering of Rep voters for the almost two decades I have worked on elections.
I have been wondering how they might coalesce around but the indications are Nikki. Plus, she is blanketing the state with glossy flyers, TV ads and texts. Somebody(s)is propping her up.
Tactical voting abounds.
In Sununu’s NH no less.
