I hope everyone is living their best life despite the created chaos intended to destabilize us. Several people have inquired about my not writing extensive research articles lately. Here’s what’s up…
There is actually a confluence of merging events that requires me to pause and think long and hard about whether the next step is correct for our CTH community in general, and specifically for me personally. It’s also very hard to write about this stuff without sounding like a braggadocious nut.
Here’s the problem that 360 million+ people do not comprehend.
♦ I need you to think about the person you are familiar with who you believe has a solid grasp of the scale of the problem in DC. This person doesn’t need to solve it, they just need to understand how massive the problem is. Who is the person you would say understands the root and essential core problem that creates the corruption in DC? Does that person in your mind, the person who really understands at a granular level what this corrupt enterprise is really all about and how it works, does that person look like Donald Trump, or Devin Nunes, or Kash Patel, or Ric Grenell?
Who would you assign that competency skillset to? Seriously, no joke – honest question, who understands the scale of the problem?
Here’s the hard pill to swallow, it doesn’t matter what name you put down, you are wrong. None of the aforementioned names, or any others, have a total picture of the problem from both a macro and micro view. None of them do.
The silo system in DC creates impenetrable barriers. I have not found a single person who knows how it all works and connects as a corrosive cancer buried deep inside our U.S. political system.
Factually, and I mean this with no joke at all, if you have been reading here for a while you have a better grasp on the problem than any elected politician. This is not a disposable line. I’m deadly serious. I have not found a single person inside the system who understands the dynamic that creates what they claim to stand against, not a single person.
So how can they fix it? Short answer, they can’t.
The only people qualified to fix this mess are the people who understand it.
Again, do you know who that is?

♦ After 12 years of stewardship over our conversation, literally 24/7/365, I also admitted I was not following my own advice. As Dr. Stephen Covey would say, “I was not sharpening the saw.”
I did not write for 3 days over the Memorial Day holiday of 2011, but other than that (and time spent in Hurricane recovery) every day I have researched, written and worked on this labor of love we call the Treehouse.
As time continued, the network of the Treehouse resources grew. We now have the ability to contact and review just about every facet of that previously described corrupt system.
I spend more time in contact with those resources now, answering their questions and raising a few more nuanced points for my own inquires. This, along with travel to educate myself, is how I can assert with confidence that no one understands the problem better than, well, us.
However, when you spend time facing down this corrupt system, it starts to gnaw at you… bigly. I am a person with strong central disposition, not easily knocked off mission and certainly not ever destabilized by the professional liars. But dealing with them, writing about their schemes, putting the sunlight on them (not what they would have us see) while constantly monitoring their moves, is exhausting.
♦ At the same time as the above came into clarity, I was also planning for the 2024 election year. Y’all know it’s going to be ugly… the scale of government institutions that are going to align against Donald Trump is going to make 2016 seem like a stroll in the park.
Part of that planning included the potential to launch a twice weekly recap podcast. Literally a mechanism to distill CTH articles and analysis into 30-minute, no extra words, straight talk about events. Twice a week (Sat/Wed). Self-hosted and only viewed here on CTH as the originating platform.
Everything at CTH stays the same, but every Saturday and Wednesday there would be a recap video on the more challenging stuff. Many people have asked, but there are a lot of issues that need to be worked out before such an endeavor is considered.
I discussed the technical issues with our server and data processing group, they feel confident they could handle the traffic. However, that’s the same thing they said right before the unique CTH issue of ‘simultaneous users’ surprised them.
Put it all together and I decided to sit still and pray about the next steps.
It is true that something has to change, something or someone needs to break through the nonsense and pretending. It is also true that continuing to do the same thing while expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.
I made a promise to pause, think, study, learn and pray before making any decision. And I needed the break.

That is my literal translation of Hosea 4:6 (also known as Osee 4:6).
Saint Jerome translated the Ancient Greek word for “similar to” with the Latin word for “go silent,” i.e. “My people have become/gone silent.”
Some modern translations have stretched this to “My people are destroyed….”
i.e. Because they have “gone silent” (not praying to the One True God, they are destroying themselves: one can see a thin bridge back to the original “those without knowledge (of the One True God).”
And the Ancient Greek and Latin words for “knowledge” (gnosis/scientia) have been stretched in some translations as “wisdom.”
Thus you might find “My people perish/are destroyed because they reject/lack wisdom” as a translation.
Mr. Sundance quite rightly worries about the lack or the rejection of Knowledge of the Truth, which should lead to Wisdom, in Contemporary America.
Hosea 4 shows the prophet conveying the Lord God’s displeasure with his people, too many of whom have forgotten about Him and adopted the lifestyles of the pagan barbarians around them.
If you feel like an exasperated Hosea, standing in the middle of people rejecting Truth, Knowledge, and Wisdom, as you view the spiritual wreckage wrought by the gods of Kulcher around you, you are not alone.
Nevertheless, like Hosea, we must continue to speak out and awaken those around us!
Those who think have thought – and deeds have been done – a history of thoughts and deeds lie behind us – we are arriving where such things have led us.

My Bible study, while not non-existent, has not been deep so this was all new to me and quite pertinent to our times, thank you.
Side note: The only reference to St. Jerome which I had is from the movie Ghost Busters when the woman who saw the first ghost was asked by Dr. Venkman if anyone in her family has had mental issues. She said “My uncle thought he was St. Jerome.” How’s that for a reference?

When Gratian was assassinated, Ausonius, an old man, threw up his hands at the chaos and incompetence and corruption in the empire’s government and retired to his estate in southern France (Gaul), where it seems he led a life similar to a medieval lord, concerned about protecting the land around him.

That may be part of the problem. I suggest we should all get our heads out of the Old Teatament and focus more on the New, perhaps beginning with Matt 5-7. We are all sinners. We try, we fail, we repent and ask forgiveness, and get up tomorrow and try again, all the while knowing we will fail again. But Christ and God’s grace provide hope.

Is it really that hard to understand, in this day and age, what is meant by the COLLECTIVE moral and spiritual failure of a people?
Look at the free, safe and prosperous society we had less than 50 years ago, when God was the at center of most families in Western Civ, and look at the trash heap we have now.

Ahem. Let me be so bold as to suggest we redefine the issue.
Every organization has “silos,” specialty areas occupied by people with specialist skill sets. No modern organization can possibly function without these silos. You keep the marketing gurus out of the engineering lab, and you don’t send cost accountants out on sales calls. The solution is not knocking down the silos. The solution is putting a CEO in charge to balance and manage them all, a conductor to “play the orchestra.”
A good CEO will define and communicate the direction for the organization, the reason we are all there, the internal and external rules everyone is expected to follow, and the measures for accountability. He then hires experts for each silo to translate those direction and rules into goals and expectations for those within each silo. Hire good people and give them their head. Properly managed with clear values, expectations, and accountability, the organization should pretty much function on its own. That is the Deep State.
America has gone off track not because we have a Deep State, but because our Deep State has gone off track. And our Deep State has gone off track because it has not been properly managed. The solution is not to destroy the Deep State. The solution is to wrestle control of the Deep State BACK into the hands of a CEO who requires adherence to traditional American values and direction. The solution is not to drain the swamp, but to treat the water and eliminate the gators.
America needs a CEO who knows in his bones the traditional American values, rules and expectations, who knows how to translate those into a BIG direction for the country, and who has a proven track record of successfully managing a big organization. Trump is the one for the job.
Anyone who raises his hand and mouths “Newsom” should be shown the disastrous condition of California cities. Newsom is an abject failure who should be fired, not promoted.

As a businessman, I have struggled with SD’s analogy of “silos” due to your explanation above as to how “silos” in the business world are created for the purpose of: creating productivity, optimizing capital allocation, and to develop accountability/transparency to achieve corporate goals. So far, Trapper, we are aligned.
The business analogy breaks down however due to the nature of the DC “silos” and the purpose they serve. They are not created to maximize functionality, accountability and increase efficiency. In fact, the opposite is true. The purpose of the DC “silos” is to prevent all of that!! They do so by obfuscation, isolation and to serve the bureaucracy itself. Not the business owners/funders (taxpayers!!).
It will take more than a super CEO/Management Guru to fix this, if it can be fixed. It must be crushed and scattered to the wind.

The people that know a lot need to be informed–IN PERSON–by Sundance & assistants or teams that we set up. I vote for transparent information for Treehouse members so we all have the information. We need a way to organize but also a way that one person (Sundance) and/or a small group are NOT targets for nefarious deep state entities–such as the F.I.B. (reverse the last two letters) targeting peaceful J6 folks (including veterans) all across the country!
How do we meet–in person & using technology–all around the country so we can organize & disseminate this information from the local to county to state to national level??? Obviously, President Trump, Ric Grenell, Devin Nunes, & Kash Patel can’t meet with everyone; trusted assistants to each (such as Eric Trump & his wife, Lara) are possibilities for outreach.
Let’s work on this as if we were a CTH Think Tank . . . .
A couple thoughts. My first impression is to say that you are confusing cause with effect. The reason the silos function the way they do is because they have been mismanaged. Some of that mismanagement has been intentional in order to bring about the obfiuscation, isolation, and perpetuation necessary for an unaccountable bureaucracy to thrive. It took decades for it to get this bad. It will take more than one election cycle to fix it, but we can at least get on the right track. We don’t need to burn it all down, just put one guy with a flame thrower in charge of each silo. Alan Dershowitz for AG? MASSIVE printing of pink slips. Get their minds right or get out.
This is why one good start would be repeal of the 17th amendment. 475 congresscritters CANNOT hold 1M federal employees accountable, perform proper oversight, or design the slios; nor can a President and cabinet. There are not enough hours in the day.
If state legislators were choosing the senators, a lot of that power and $$ that currently goes to DC would at least go back to the states out of their own self-interest.
Also, blame the USSC for part of this. When you have a “due process” and property/liberty right to your government job, it becomes really hard to fire people.
The purpose of a government bureaucracy is to (a) get more funding/authority (either of which leads to more power); (b) not get yelled at by politicians; and (c) maybe do some work.
I’ve often wondered if we need some iteration of a “shadow secretary” so that at the very least, if you know you will have the other side of the aisle empowered at all times to look over your shoulder, you might behave better. But that has the downside of just enshrining more uniparty at the trough.
Creating a broad standing quo warranto action would be nice, where violation creates personal liability from the employees.
Regarding your point about Senators: It would be an improvement. There would be 50 instances and at least some of them would likely be able to get some positive results.

100% correct. Sundance refers to DC’s “Information silos”, not functionally different departments in the organization, which trapper ( and I suppose others) erroneously conflated.
In terms of management silos, the assumption is the free flow of ideas and information throughout the whole organization.

I prefer my information in writing. Podcasts and videos take too much time and convey only a small fraction of the material I can absorb by reading. But, to each his own.
One time-saving and energy-saving suggestion is to stop covering FOX, CNN, the NY Times, WaPo and all the other MSM blather. There are no solutions to be found via the MSM. None. Zippo. Nada. Plus, the media personalities are ugly people inside and out.
Also, consider cutting back or dropping poll coverage. Polls are little more than fabricated news filler. Covering polls drains away precious energy, better devoted to deeper topics.

Regarding the Comments section, I wholeheartedly agree! The posts from Sundance followed by the robust and, for the most part, intelligent exchanges that occur in the Comments section are analogous to me as an adult as was the set of Encyclopedia Brittanica volumes my schoolteacher father maintained in our hallway as I was growing up…..pre-internet of course. It is a vast wealth of knowledge from a vast group of people worthy of anyone’s time.
I love the podcast idea..I started listening to them last year following a true crime case. I’m sure there are great content creators on this site and creative people to design the presentations.. the chats are great and you can always “invite” people up to share ideas and facts..

My news aggregation site went “live” in late 2008. I was in the midst of leaving the Left’s disinformation matrix seeking out or weeding out truth from fiction. The journey was very daunting and challenging. Spent a couple of years at first just writing and posting vids, but formally became an aggregation site in 2011ish.
I found your site by sheer accident back then. I loved the concept of a ‘Treehouse’ because it immediately conjures up, for me at least, fond memories as a place to play, to rest, to ponder and to spend time with my really smart friends.
As I became acquainted with your content it became obvious ‘truth’ ‘facts’ were guide posts and with that as a basis your viewpoints, observations, the depth of your work on Benghazi, Trayvon, RussiaGate and more demonstrated to this news consumer you knew from where you spoke/wrote.
CTH has been a daily go to ever since your launch, and I link to your work several times a week. CTH has developed a news niche few have succeeded in building and from the looks of it, you’re only getting started.
Although I don’t believe you are asking your treepers whether or not you/your team should do or not do a podcast/video encapsulations twice a week, I for one would most welcome that medium/format. And I for one would be most happy to promote and drive traffic to it from my site – maybe an in-kind advertisement or some such.
My sole goal in aggregating news is to educate, educate, educate. The better informed the better my readers can navigate this gnarly mess. Linking to your work is certainly a part of that.
Lastly, I know you aren’t asking, but…there is a daily video show whose format and focus remains tight and is a pleasure to watch/listen to solely b/c of its shortness, quality of the content and predictability – That’s Judge Nap’s growing YT channel. Check it out if you haven’t already. He too is very instructive. He too makes the most of the 30-mins.

You are doing what is right. Sit, be still, listen. You probably already know what you should do, but the “what” and the “how” are two totally different things. Many people identify the What needs to be done, but very few can come up with the How ,to accomplish the task. One thing does need to be taken into consideration. From my previous experiences in rescue operations, you absolutely have to take care of yourself FIRST. If you are incapacitated you can’t help anyone else. Next is your team. The same rule applies, if your team is struggling just to survive, they can’t help others.
Talk to your team. Can you all take on more of this fight without collapsing? We all want you with us in the long run, and indeed it will be a very long path.
Because of my past work, I know how much time and effort is used up in doing deep, research. It is all consuming and is exhausting. BUT, that being said, you and your team are very unique in your abilities and strengths. I think you have accomplished way more than you know, because humble people never think they did enough. And you sir have demonstrated repeatedly that you and the entire team are humble, always striving to do better, not seeking passing glory. It has shown up in your writings as a life style. Although never having met, those of us who have followed this site for years feel blessed to have read your thoughts. We are with you, what ever you choose.

We have been poisoned on a mass scale by the Covid vaccines. Sudden, unexplained deaths have exploded. Disabilities amongst working age people have exploded. In addition, evidence has begun to emerge that we also may have been injected with nanotechnology to facilitate the tyrannical control of human beings by the same demonic entities that Sundance has been writing about. This is the first thing that must be addressed by President Trump and all those people who purport to be fighting for truth and righteousness. Everything else, even the rigging of elections, is secondary to that right now.
Mix in the horrendous volume of Fentanyl pouring in over the border and it’s witch’s brew of immense proportion.

Your depth of knowledge on the central issue in our Republics history is critical and needs a stronger and vocal Truth Teller to break thru to our fellow American citizens. President Trump pierced the media and Government Agency veil but he and others need deeper information as ammunition in our fight. Retired Magistrate here: My husband and I are 74 and 74 years old respectively. We both have chronic health issues; however, we are very thankful for the day that we have. This day in particular. Here in Central Ohio it is a beautiful sunny day in the high 50’s. The sun is sparkling off the river, which we can now see from all of our windows because the leaves are down.
Yesterday, we had an excellent service in our little country church. Good sermon and fellowship. My brother is still alive, we have food to eat, electricity is on (it was off yesterday for a while), furnace is running, firewood stacked, food in the refrigerators and pantry and starting to plan our annual Christmas Open House. We invite people from church, neighbors, former co workers and other friends. It is a wonderful time and we look forward to it every year.
So, the world goes on in its crazy way and we go on in our peaceful little corner of the world.

Every thousand people at five bucks a month generates $60,000 gross annually. And it might give you the opportunity to veer away from the day to day, and focus on big picture while still using the blog for reacting to current events

I cannot argue with that. Only here on CTH can I find the multiple dimensions of information needed to understand the root cause, and, others who see how deep the treason runs.
I travel a lot through MainStreet America. More and more people see the cliff we are about to go over but still, most see it a confluence of “bad decisions”,” incompetence”, “R vs D”. But, I’ve met few willing to face the ugly reality that we have no representative government nor a means to vote one into place. Why so few?
Well partly, I think, because it is human nature to turn away from those who point out the nature of one’s enslavement. And partly it’s just comfort and pretending – the global forces which have spent a century to get us here are pouring such massive amounts of money into the US economy that most people are comfortable enough to ignore the coming disaster.
What I learn from Sundance is that this all can be explained, and, the sinister intent of those who control DC and Wallstreet can easily be realized. In that I am optimistic. In the numbers of freemen vs natural slaves I am not.

Absolutely. No one is coming to save us. The imagined fear, the false sense of protection and the inflated “wealth” may keep some content to ignore what their gut is telling them. I am increasingly convinced that this all has to get very bad domestically – on a scale Americans have never seen on our shores. It will be those who wanted to be left alone who rise up. That day needs to come soon.
Our mortal enemy is not DC. It is those who can buy DC with pocket change.

For starters, here’s something easy (and Profitable) that you can do: charge for subscriptions to CTH. I would LOVE to be able to read all your great essays and the commentary without the damn ads. Right now I am subscribing to half a dozen of my fave bloggers and publications for a yearly or monthly fee and am glad to do so.
You can set it up so that everyone can read everything but you can pay to have no ads.
I think you might be surprised at how many folks would be willing to pay $70 bucks a year for the privilege.

There was a very long stretch of time in which I could never have afforded any subscription, all while reading here while putting my life back together – if I had not had access, freely, to this wonderful site, I most likely would have given up even trying to make sense of things not only in my daily life but in the world, and it was the ability to join in, freely, here, that kept my sanity. So that would be a ‘no’ vote on subscriptions because you can never know who you would be depriving of the most valuable of information that just might change their lives.
When things finally started to turn around, it was, and is, an honor to be able to contribute on a monthly basis but I hold forever in my heart gratitude that this site was, and is, open to all comers.

Here’s an example: another great conservative daily blog I love is American Thinker. If I can’t afford to pay for the subscription, I can still read ALL the articles for free, but I also have to put up with the obnoxious ads.
For the paid subscription I read all the article but don’t have to be annoyed by the ads.
Works for everyone.
That is one good example; another is substack – people who pay get more content, people who don’t get crumbs, and sparse ones at that.
Not everyone can afford to pay but everyone can grow and learn from the full content; and it might very well be someone struggling to hold things together turns out to be the one person that gets that sudden, heavenly, inspiration for what changes things, that outside the box moment that Sundance refers to where just doing the same thing doesn’t move the needle as far as it could.
That just shows how valuable this site has become to me, a true treasure that anyone seeking truth can, and will eventually, find.

Not any single person can understand everything about everything all the time.
Even if that person existed, the chances that that person in addition has the authoritiy to also make changes to everything.. not likely.
Then however we only need to understand only SOME things well and then make actions and changes on that area.
Therefore change does not come from 1 person but from a shared belief by many people with a certain conviction (but then again that conviction might be forced into them — only take the COVID madness as an example)
It is possible to move a mountain with many teaspoons.
Not to go all philosophical, but I think the above is very close already to Sundance advice, live your best life and in the meantime in the areas that you can change, make the changes you want to see.

Sundance, Is there a way to let us know how much more $money$ you will need to be fiscally comfortable adding these video broadcasts? I know we all will need these as the Ugly election year unfolds. For instance if we all stretched for a year commitment, can you think of a rule of thumb for an ” Extra” pledge to provide what you need fiscally? It will be stressful enough to create and produce these, I’d hate for you to incur financial stress as well.

That is exactly where I have arrived in the last year. Do I still “support” Trump – yes – do I think he actually understands the problem – no.
I have lost confidence in Trump’s ability to parse the reality of the situation – my only recourse to bolster my confidence in him would have me “trusting the plan” or writing off every seeming bad move as his “5D Chess” mastery – I just can’t do those mental gymnastics anymore.

Serously, there is so much to see and digest, a culmination of all of your work would make up three seasons of ten episodes each or a three volume set of 500 page books.

To Sundance – Some people here have come to depend more a constant stream of your articles for their safety and security than to depend on God. When you leave for a while, it’s like the words of the disciple in the movie ‘Risen’ when Jesus disappears from the room – “where did he go?”, said in anxious tone. “Is He coming back?”, said in more anxious tone. Some here have made you their idol.

The pace you were running is admirable but unsustainable.
Need to have a succession plan.
Have 2 days a week when readers post & comment only.
Lastly, people will get a life. I look at things I no longer focus on daily that I now live with out : Morning Paper, Rush , Tucker, Season Tickets to my Basketball , Football teams and I am still a sane person. I think this group will survive a day or 2 a week with out Sundance for Sundance’s sake. I will say I did have signs of withdrawal this past week.

I love reading your articles and sharing them with others. Thank you for your clarity, insight and wisdom. I have donated before using Pay Pal and received the autogenerated receipt. But how do I know that you really received my donation? I don’t trust Pay Pal. An algorithm could remove donations and you would have no way of knowing. Having said that I will continue to use Pay Pal to donate as you prefer. Please consider opening a Post Office Box for donations. You would get to keep all of the money and your donor list couldn’t be provided to a governmental authority by Pay Pal.
I prefer to give a single donation annually. However, I understand it is easier to run a business if you know what your monthly revenue will be. So, I will pledge a monthly reoccurring donation of $300 and I encourage other Treepers to do the same.
I think a podcast is an excellent way to spread the message. I used to believe that I was a visual learner. I have never been able to study, write, or read with background noise. I recently realized that is because I’m always listening and cannot tune out noise. I workout watching Chuck Missler’s expositional Bible teachings. I can’t quote much of the Bible, but I know when I hear false teaching or false interpretations of the Bible because I heard the Bible. Paul states in Romans that “Faith comes by hearing the Word of God,” not by reading and sharing epistles. Moses commanded the priests to read the Torah every year at the festival of Sukkot. I think the spoken word is a powerful way to reach new people and for them to gain understanding.
One last thing, I suggest a tab on your website with a schematic diagram where articles can be linked to various topics. It would be an easy way for new people to get up to speed on areas that you have previously covered. I’m not suggesting that you do it, but someone in your group.
I will continue to pray for you, Donald Trump, and our Country. The Bible says that God puts up kings, so He gave us Joe Biden. I hope it was to expose the incredible corruption that has gone unnoticed by the masses, and not as a judgement against us. I pray that God will have mercy on us as he did the town of Nineveh. Large problems, like software programs, need to be broken up into smaller parts to solve before assembling them together into one cohesive unit. Cracking the code of the deep state will require capable and committed personnel to achieve a successful outcome.
Studying our enemies (Soros, Universities, Media) and their success is important. We know money plays an important role in their subversion that purchased a multipronged pressure campaigns both inside and outside our government. They need to be emulated.

And since the Internet changed the entire landscape, things have got murkier and more problematic. But we can determine who the ‘MSM’ are. Largely by the uniformity of their content. And their synchronization with government messaging. The traditional big media giants are most obvious, but there are many other aligned outlets.
It’s a real war, trying to see behind their filters and propaganda. This site is exemplary in fighting this war. There are others too, and opening the eyes to the larger public is an excellent objective that is crucial.

The first steps, however, are found in the bible. 1) Separate yourself from the sinners (Corinthians 6:14) I’ll take that a step further: do not tolerate them. Call them out. 2) Stay right with God. 3) Never doubt that God is with you and you can count on Him. Psalm 23. Jesus told us it would not be easy but put on the armor of God and do not let evil’s favorite weapon, fear, diminish you.

The average person simply wants to live their life, earn some money, feed their family, and have some enjoyment occasionally. Humans are extremely resilient creatures and will accept and put up with a great deal before demanding change. We’re not even close to there yet.
We were supposed to be self governing. Even after electing someone you wanted, we’re supposed to stay on their asses to make sure they’re doing their job. Most people don’t want to do the work. Or it hasn’t gotten bad enough to get them moving. IDK, I’m always grateful when someone catches on but what good is the knowledge without action. Holidays coming up too…..
The Parable of the Talents was a powerful story challenging us directly to show our creator what we have done with OUR TALENTS.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the ancient word for weighing gold and silver has become the modern word describing our personal gifts and abilities.
It’s tempting to focus on what others are doing. It’s easy to sit around and complain about government and the potato they call president.
As you do, the time of sand constantly slip away and we all can’t be guaranteed tomorrow. No one knows how much life they have left.
But what you can do is look at the TALENTS GOD GAVE YOU and focus on what you can do to multiply them.
In the end, you will be the only one facing judgment for what you have accomplished in this life. And as the story goes, Jesus warns you won’t be able to blame it on your circumstances.
