I hope everyone is living their best life despite the created chaos intended to destabilize us. Several people have inquired about my not writing extensive research articles lately. Here’s what’s up…
There is actually a confluence of merging events that requires me to pause and think long and hard about whether the next step is correct for our CTH community in general, and specifically for me personally. It’s also very hard to write about this stuff without sounding like a braggadocious nut.
Here’s the problem that 360 million+ people do not comprehend.
♦ I need you to think about the person you are familiar with who you believe has a solid grasp of the scale of the problem in DC. This person doesn’t need to solve it, they just need to understand how massive the problem is. Who is the person you would say understands the root and essential core problem that creates the corruption in DC? Does that person in your mind, the person who really understands at a granular level what this corrupt enterprise is really all about and how it works, does that person look like Donald Trump, or Devin Nunes, or Kash Patel, or Ric Grenell?
Who would you assign that competency skillset to? Seriously, no joke – honest question, who understands the scale of the problem?
Here’s the hard pill to swallow, it doesn’t matter what name you put down, you are wrong. None of the aforementioned names, or any others, have a total picture of the problem from both a macro and micro view. None of them do.
The silo system in DC creates impenetrable barriers. I have not found a single person who knows how it all works and connects as a corrosive cancer buried deep inside our U.S. political system.
Factually, and I mean this with no joke at all, if you have been reading here for a while you have a better grasp on the problem than any elected politician. This is not a disposable line. I’m deadly serious. I have not found a single person inside the system who understands the dynamic that creates what they claim to stand against, not a single person.
So how can they fix it? Short answer, they can’t.
The only people qualified to fix this mess are the people who understand it.
Again, do you know who that is?

♦ After 12 years of stewardship over our conversation, literally 24/7/365, I also admitted I was not following my own advice. As Dr. Stephen Covey would say, “I was not sharpening the saw.”
I did not write for 3 days over the Memorial Day holiday of 2011, but other than that (and time spent in Hurricane recovery) every day I have researched, written and worked on this labor of love we call the Treehouse.
As time continued, the network of the Treehouse resources grew. We now have the ability to contact and review just about every facet of that previously described corrupt system.
I spend more time in contact with those resources now, answering their questions and raising a few more nuanced points for my own inquires. This, along with travel to educate myself, is how I can assert with confidence that no one understands the problem better than, well, us.
However, when you spend time facing down this corrupt system, it starts to gnaw at you… bigly. I am a person with strong central disposition, not easily knocked off mission and certainly not ever destabilized by the professional liars. But dealing with them, writing about their schemes, putting the sunlight on them (not what they would have us see) while constantly monitoring their moves, is exhausting.
♦ At the same time as the above came into clarity, I was also planning for the 2024 election year. Y’all know it’s going to be ugly… the scale of government institutions that are going to align against Donald Trump is going to make 2016 seem like a stroll in the park.
Part of that planning included the potential to launch a twice weekly recap podcast. Literally a mechanism to distill CTH articles and analysis into 30-minute, no extra words, straight talk about events. Twice a week (Sat/Wed). Self-hosted and only viewed here on CTH as the originating platform.
Everything at CTH stays the same, but every Saturday and Wednesday there would be a recap video on the more challenging stuff. Many people have asked, but there are a lot of issues that need to be worked out before such an endeavor is considered.
I discussed the technical issues with our server and data processing group, they feel confident they could handle the traffic. However, that’s the same thing they said right before the unique CTH issue of ‘simultaneous users’ surprised them.
Put it all together and I decided to sit still and pray about the next steps.
It is true that something has to change, something or someone needs to break through the nonsense and pretending. It is also true that continuing to do the same thing while expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.
I made a promise to pause, think, study, learn and pray before making any decision. And I needed the break.

I figured when you came back we were in for a doozy of a post as you were taking time to research, contemplate, and convey the most important of issues. I wasn’t quite expecting this bombshell. Nobody, including the leader of this movement understand what’s really going on and who’s behind it?…Lord help us. I don’t see a way out of this. Nobody that understands, which is us common folk, is going to get elected to try to fix it or be believed if they try to talk about it or campaign on it. The grass roots which are the majority, IMO, are slowly having an impact, but there’s no time for this movement to move slow. How do we fix this???!!!! Living your best life will only work until the money runs out, you can’t afford to keep your cars and house, and have to move into a government funded 15 minute city.

Let’s see the clever boy who grows the food and eliminates all the human waste, external and internal, within a 15 minute radius.
Are they going to collect rain water in barrels to drink and clean?

Starting at the local level is a great idea unless you live in a crazy (blue) or apathetic (red) place. I live in a flyover state that is mostly red and apathy abounds. People actually think business is being taken care of by our state house and senate. The only problem is the people are not seeing behind the facade so they still trust the state government and local news.
For example, when the big deal about crt was going on in our state we had a representative who was involved in creating a law that made crt illegal to teach in class. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief and then proceeded to ignore exactly what had been written and passed. I know I was impressed by the representative and was very happy and went on to other things, thinking it had been dealt with. However, there was a problem with the law which caused me to see even state government is falling in line with the federal government. While it became illegal to teach it, the only punishment for teaching it was the parents could sue the teacher. How many parents, who send their children to public school because they can’t afford private school, have the money to sue? The law didn’t have any serious punishment, like losing state certification for teaching, if the law was broken. The local news didn’t say anything about it. I only happened to come across a website that was talking about how states were dealing with the issue. The state acted like it was serving the interest of the people but they weren’t. So when you tell people in this state that things are not as they seem, the majority look at you like you are crazy. Very few here actually understand what is going on and how they will eventually be impacted and that’s in one of the bigger cities of my state.
It’s especially bad in the southeast corner of the state. It is a very rural area, they trust media and the government implicitly. My aunt lives in that area (her town has a population of 208 people) and she was telling me that the people have gone crazy and can’t even have what she called normal conversations. I think what she meant (but I could be wrong) was that we could carry on a conversation about things that are going on in the country without any of us having a meltdown or becoming insulting.
How do you wake people up when they want to stay asleep?
just a comment–anyone teaching CRT would be doing it because it was required by the state curriculum, and the teacher either didn’t have the opportunity to get out of it (trad teachers try their best to subvert) or they were just out of college and totally buying into the BS. So suing the teacher shows the legislature has no idea how the schools work.

Just suggested that same thing. Bannon has contacts. There is a group working now, over 3000 people I understand, who are preparing for 2024. The second after the inauguration ceremony ends they will enter the government all working on the same Constitutional ideology to stop the administrative state. Three thousand is probably not enough but surely we can add to that army before then.

3000 isn’t a bad start when placed at the top levels in all agencies in DC.
Also, fed workers/beaurocrats (of which there are millions) should not have secure, high paying jobs for life.
One of the reasons that fed contractors exist… is because fed bureacrats/employees cannot be fired and know it. Often they either refuse to do their jobs or are not capable of doing the job they were hired to do.
Our federal system is truly broken in multiple ways.
The reason bureacrats have their jobs/fed employment for life is to keep the govt functioning consistently in spite of the fact that every 4 or 8 years there is a transfer of power at the top levels of govt.
I do understand this reasoning but eventually this causes serious problems. I believe we now have a majority of leftist radical bureacrats embedded in the fed govt (and most states too)– millions– and we cannot extract them. Neither can we force them to do their jobs properly, competently and ethically.
Had PDJT remained in the WH for his 2nd term, this was one of the things he intended to change– the “fed employee for life” practice was on the chopping block.

The problem with Islam is that it is not merely a religion. It is a theocratic totalitarian system of govt. And, unfortunately, the Koran says, multiple times, that Allah demands that the entire world be converted to Islam … and by any means necessary. Convert or die (or be their slave). Mohammed himself conquered by violence. Certainly there are peaceful nice Muslims. I’ve met several. Still, they do believe that Islam must conquer the world.

I found your site back in 2016 and am a daily reader. You are always ahead of the curve.
Six months ago, out here in Silicon Valley, the talk amongst many of my conservative friends was: Ron DeSantis. I was able to tell them immediately that RDS was a sellout, a globalist, and a back-stabber. I backed it up with articles that you had written. Several people thanked me for that. Everything that you had written turned out to be true. That is just one small example of many. You are an invaluable resource.
Very wise, especially the prayer.
Your proposed recaps would be most helpful. I don’t have the patience or desire to get down in the weeds and figure things out—more of a big picture person, details are exhausting.
I do believe that collectively the people here have the best understanding possible of the appalling mess you describe so well.
But the fact is that the vast majority of people don’t have the intellect necessary to understand not only what goes on but also how it affects our lives. Or, if they have the intellect, they are so overwhelmed by their own problems that they can’t disengage enough to listen. It’s more awful piled on the awful they’re living with.

I haven’t sought out or participated in any group on the ground – yet – but am wholly on board with the concept and pledge: where we go 1, we go all. So, lead on. Am praying for the door to open for serious reality check as the family gathers together for several days next week. One of our sons and his family “get it”, while the other and his family, never had the plot in order to lose it. Pains me to put it in print. Both are outstanding gentlemen, good husbands; excellent Dads. But one is lost in the in the grip of the swamp propaganda.
My personal pledge is to the Leader in this Treehouse, to those who assist him, and to all those who turn to this place for the necessarily frequent reality check, incisive analysis, and dedicated patriotism. I don’t know what I would do without all of you.

Some people believe that money can solve problems. that is not true. Action solves problems. And if that means money to fund that action great, because that is normal. But when we decide to throw money at every problem assuming that action will follow, is one of the most confounding errors in judgement. Nor is just sitting it out and doing nothing. Focus….be efficient. Find the problems and write our the problem statement. Then find the solution. (noting: some problems cannot be solved…don’t get two blocked over that. Move to what you CAN CHANGE/FIX. Then announce your plans..make them known to others. Ask for support…sometimes its money…sometimes it’s coordination and team work..delegating tasks.
BUT ALWAYS IT’S PRAYER.
So I pray for your CONTINUED SUCCESS SUNDANCE. I know where you heart is and certainly I understand your talent.

You have done such a service for this country. I am in awe of your talents. I’ve been reading you for years and years and I can honestly say that no one i know, or know of, has the ability to grasp vast subjects with so many moving parts and correctly asses the data AND the data that is conspicuously absent. You’re my hero, Sundance. I wish I could do what you do. If I could- I’d bear the ring. But, I cannot. So I will flail around trying to help any which way I can.
My thoughts-
Sunlight. Sunlight is what this site has given to me. Sunlight spread across the political landscape and lighting up every corner it can. We need to focus that sunlight into a laserbeam. I think that a plan of action is this:
We need to start to pick apart the knot our country is in one strand at a time. I propose that we start with must exposing what russiagate was for the whole world to see.
Let me tell you why I think Russiagate is the best place to start. It exposes the link between the Alphabet goons and the media. If you could prove to the average American that the FBI lied about Trump colluding with Russia and used the FISA court to try and tip the election and ultimately hobble a presidency, while the media lied to help them, you’d change a lot of minds. This is about hearts and minds. It has to be. This isn’t about one team beating another. If we can get the facts in front of the right people and change some minds the downstream effect will make it much easier to untie other knots. (Uniparty, FBI traitors, immigration, china bucks, etc.)
The closest I’ve seen to the liberal audiences being given the truth about Russiagate was when Matt Taibi was on Bill Maher’s show. Bill said something to the effect of “come on, we know he colluded,” and Taibi choked. He could have dropped some truth bombs but he froze up. I like Matt Taibi but he’s a writer not a speaker.
I know the people watching that show. Some are good people, they’ve just been lied to. We need to expose the truth. The world is so messed up right now that they’d have no choice but to listen.
I don’t mean to ramble. I just wanted to say that we need to start small with a focused blitz.
Here’s a goal- Peter Strozk needs to be arrested. Maddow needs to be fired.

That we are INCLINED to a more powerful and positive SELF…
so when you have a day when you are strong and on point…make sure others KNOW IT. SHOW IT. Don’t hold this to yourself in private. Celebrate your power to do great things by raising up your faith IN GOD and make it known from WHERE THIS POWER COMES!

Thank you so much Sundance for all your wisdom & inspiration over the years…and I always come here when I get burned out by all the media hype & political lies so that I can absorb some of that wisdom & inspiration that will carry me for another week or so.
I have been in the MAGA movement since its conception and I am weary, tired, and extremely concerned for our country. And ask for examples of whatever the specific issue is. If it is “Trump is corrupt,” ask for specifics of the corruption. If it is “the GOP is the party of authoritarianism,” ask for examples of it.
Each time we ask for specifics of their mud-slinging, and they have none (because it’s always just name-calling), they will be more hesitant to parrot those democrat talking points next time– no matter where they got them.

Lost when perversion became the normal. I believe in God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. I have read the last chapter. In the end, we win.
I believe the only solution is 2 Chronicles 7:14. This is not a battle that any single man or even a group of good men can win without Divine intervention.

In addition to doing podcasts on your site, I would recommend doing some interviews with someone like Tucker or Rogan to reach a large diverse audience. You could have them block out your face if you don’t want to be known. You are the only one in my opinion that can explain how deep the corruption runs.

Beautifully said! I actually hunger for this site during the day. It truly has become my refuge and I am “clothed”, “fed” and comforted here like no other place. I too feel as Sundance does and yet I am reminded that when all hope is/was lost, God has never failed me, always pulled me up, helped me move forward and gave me keener sense of vision to see what lay ahead. It is always dark before there is light so I am awaiting the light and will rejoice in where God directs me. Thank you Sundance and all you Treepers. There are millions of Americans pretending to ignore our dire situation. Covid, 2020 and J6 make a fire hard to look into. The total corruption is a towering inferno akin to looking directly at the sun.
When things get too bad to ignore Americans will react, pray God that it is not too late.

Wow. Glad I picked today to check back in after a week or so away. A podcast is a mind-blowing idea. I don’t listen to any podcasts now– only specially-selected talk radio (not what’s available in my area) on the internet — but I would definitely be there twice a week for that!
