The timing here is just splendid. According to multiple MSM sources, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds is scheduled to endorse Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for the 2024 GOP nomination. The endorsement is scheduled to be announced tomorrow in Iowa.
This endorsement comes on the heels of a recent Morning Consult poll [SEE HERE] showing Governor Kim Reynolds is “America’s most unpopular governor.”😂🤣😂 How appropriate is that?!
[…] “Gov. Kim Reynolds (R-Iowa) is America’s most unpopular governor, with a 47% disapproval rating, up from 39% in the first quarter of 2023. Her unpopularity increased partly because of a surge in negative sentiment among independent and Republican voters during a year in which she signed a strict anti-abortion law and took a lashing from former President Donald Trump over her apparent closeness with Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.).” (link)

You might remember when I said, and repeated, to “watch the RGA.” Well, surprise, surprise, guess who is the current RGA Chair? Yup, Kim Reynolds. {link} These people are entirely predictable.
[CTH, January 2023] […] “As I’m watching President Trump doing the familiar targeting of the GOPe roadmap, in this instance hitting the Club for Growth (CfG), my spidey senses are telling me their modified 2024 path will involve increased emphasis on the Republican Governors Association (RGA).
In the 2020 midterms, the RGA headed by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey was positioning: specifically positioning Ron DeSantis. If the modified establishment roadmap rolls out as it looks right now, I suspect the RGA will play a key role in it.” (keep reading)
You might not have remembered the way the RGA was positioning [reference the $20 million donation to DeSantis in April 2022, which was always intended as a laundry operation for the 2024 GOP primary], which always had this Reynolds endorsement lined up to be triggered, but at least we know Donald Trump saw the roadmap as outlined.
Back in February, 2023, President Donald Trump was noting the same strategic plays that we were. Fortunately, he was keeping an eye on how the Republican Governors Association (RGA) was intending to execute their anti-MAGA moves against the base working class voters. [Trump Truth]
Once you see the strings on the marionettes, it becomes impossible to return to that moment in the performance when you did not see them.
Lastly, while this endorsement was pre-baked into the 2024 roadmap and entirely predictable, it has been triggered early.
Kim Reynolds endorsing Ron DeSantis is a break from tradition. The Iowa governor rarely endorses a presidential candidate; hence, that was the motive for the plan. The roadmap added this little ‘shock and awe’ move as part of the design long before people were even willing to admit that DeSantis was running. However, the endorsement was not supposed to happen until after the 2023 holidays, when it would be closer to the Iowa caucuses and carry more benefit.
Why did the DeSantis handlers need to trigger this endorsement early? Because DeSantis is going backward in Iowa and Nikki Haley is now pushing ahead of him.
The more the Iowa voters get to see Ron DeSantis, the less they like him.
The GOPe roadmap is collapsing… the timing of this predictable move by the RGA component shows desperation.
The billionaire class of the professional Republican manipulators are failing, Bigly!
Be of good cheer, we are kicking their ass!

“Kim Reynolds told me that she was going to remain NEUTRAL because Iowa was, “Thank you President Trump,” FIRST IN THE NATION. She wanted to campaign with everyone. I told her that I should have “remained neutral” when she asked me to help her get elected, and that I didn’t want or need her to campaign with me. I am now 41+Points up in Iowa!” ~ Donald J Trump
Today is a very good day.
Ron DeSantis has been endorsed by “America’s most unpopular governor.” Sorry, I just can’t stop laughing.
…And Ron & Nikki are going to have another debate fight on television for ‘first-loser’ status. 😂 Pinch me. Best Election Ever!
Tells you how pathetic the various governors are from the electorate’s point of view when Newson doesn’t even make the list. In addition, who gives a squat about Ron’s endorsement. It’s like trying to revive a burnt charred piece of toast with a spoonful of Bandini as both Ron and the Governor are cut from the same uni-party cloth. Note to say butter or jam would have falsely elevated the Iowa Governor from being a RINO piece of trash.
His name is Newsom and the fact that you didnt’ even know his correct name is telling- I am a Californian…I lived in SF when Newsom was coming up under the mentorship of SF’s richest people – he is spoiled and entitled (remember his dining in Napa California with a table full of rich friends- all totally maskless- right after he completely locked down the state?)- the State has been declining under his leadership– he’d be a Dreadful President- he is all about image and is an inept governor.Like most Dems his motto is :”Rules for thee, but NOT for me”
Nice try but sort of a dumb butt arrogant comment on your part. FYI if you look carefully the m and n are adjacent on the keyboard and typos do occur. Also what gives with the cute little lecture? Your comprehension and reasoning is little off the rails if you think that my post had anything to do regarding agreeing with or voting for any Democrat/RINO. In addition, lived in CA from 1956-1977 plus traveled routinely for business to CA from 1985-2009. So I’ve seen and witnessed CA transform from a great place to grow up and live into a cesspool. Thank goodness the majority of my trips were pretty much confined to the Southern CA.
Sundance cropped the photo of DeSanctus’ footware…… Flats or pumps?
Desantis is expecting to get a 5point bump out of this new endorsement but President Trump seems to think that it will not make any difference
Desantis said today that this came just in time to propel him forward Ha ha
As a Florida resident who voted for DeSantis twice …….. I would not vote for him again for anything …….. and he can stay campaigning forever, as far as I am concerned. …….. As soon as we re elected him last year, he announces he would be looking for a new job, on OUR dime. …….. He got his ‘lapdog legislature’ to amend the ‘Resign to Run’ law in Florida just so that he could keep his job while looking for another, in case it didn’t work out. ……… If he can screw us, he can screw the nation. ………… We DON’T want him back.
Just how I feel. He was fine as guv, not for any other job would I vote for him. And now that he’s shown his true colors he’s not good for anything.
Reynolds may endorse DeSantis, I really don’t care. In the scheme of things, she has been a good Governor sticking to her guns (Iowa is open carry and right to work) and getting rid of garbage books in elementary schools as well as cutting the size of state government and creating a surplus budget balance. Perfect, no. but better than Illinois and Minnesota. AS the Music Man said, ‘You ought to give Iowa a try.’
DeSantis? Everybody knows now that his place is nowhere.
She is positioning for a VP slot once the deep state blocks our president from being able to run. DeSantis has stayed in the game in anticipation of winning the nomination by default.
If Donald J Trump is not on the ballot I will write his name in.
Pols in Florida and elsewhere who endorsed Governor “Lifts” prematurely now see which way the electoral winds are blowing and are abandoning him left and right for DJT. Clearly, Ron decided he needed a high-profile endorsement just to stay in the game and that’s what this was. No one will remember this in a few days.
What surprised me was how high Dem governors like Waltz and Inslee were polling. Just goes to show you that the Dem voters in these blue states are gluttons for punishment…..
InSlee is Washington States Governor and he is horrible. He won due to election fraud in my opinion. People that voted for Loren Culp were complaining that when they checked on their ballot they were told it had arrived and their vote was cast for Inslee. They said they didn’t vote for him. They said they received a ballot but another one was requested which negated the first ballot. Lots of people said this was happening. If you knew someone’s name and date of birth you could request a new ballot. Which instantly made any prior ballots invalid.
Kim Woman was the Secretary of State at the time. She immediately took a job at the Federal level under the Biden regime to advance election security. She perfected the art of cheating in my opinion.
We love our governor in Iowa. I don’t know anyone who believes her endorsement will change anything as far as the caucus goes.
Don’t like Haley taking such a leap. Dislike her more than any candidate running. Backstabbed President Trump more than once.
