SAF = Slowly At First
As unsettled things begin to take on increased frequency and concern, and at the suggestion of some long-time Treeper members, I agree there may be a benefit to sharing information with each other from our regions.
We are unlikely to get a fulsome understanding of what is taking place nationally from any media outlet. Indeed, there is a greater likelihood of disturbances and regional issues being downplayed and dismissed as they were in the “knock-out game” era. So, I am going to occasionally post SAF articles where discussion on regional security issues, disturbances that appear coordinated, can be shared among our Treehouse community.
All future SAF posts will be password protected, at least for the first 24 hours. This will permit me to review the conversation prior to (if at all) removing the restriction and allowing public review. By now, all CTH readers should be familiar with the password for protected posts.
Consider the SAF threads a specific focus where we can address concerns of regional conflict, civic disturbance or any concerns that appear to threaten the tranquility of our area, neighborhood, region, village or location. The SAF threads will be a place where you can review what is happening on a more national basis and get an idea of what types of potential threats to civil disorder might be starting to surface.
These SAF threads are for you. For us to understand the scale and scope of any civic unrest that might be happening. Your comments are the point of the SAF posts, and I will also put any larger national story into the equation for discussion. A simple state and area are all that is needed for sharing, ie, central Mississippi, Virginia southern coast, etc. No need to get specific, just ground reports with general proximity identified.
Additionally, if you have general advice, suggestions, thoughts or plans that you have put into place and feel may benefit the audience, feel free to share your advice and suggestions. Again, this is a conversation.
The purpose is three-fold. One, so we have an understanding of what is happening. Two, so we can share and counsel with best ideas and suggestions. Three, so that we realize we are not alone.
More later.
Love to all,
~ Sundance

Thank you Sundance.
I’ll report from Las Vegas.
press the 6 and 8.
Superb idea Sundance. The so-called “news” outlets will not be broadcasting anything negative about what the Joebama Junta has done to this country…no truth at all.
If you think you have enough ammo , you dont . Buy more , much more .
Second!
prices are down, still high but better than before, especially 9mm.
sgammo dot com
Family-run out of Oklahoma. Good pricing. Bulk pricing available.
Yes. Especially for some surplus types like 7.62×25.
Not that anyone has remilled a PPS-43.
lucky gunner is cheaper
Prices did rise. Sam SGAmmo) warned everyone on his email list.
He basically stated that the ammo business is driven by “fear”.
Lucky Gunner is pretty good too. Their pricing has not yet adjusted for the fear factor just yet.
Ammo prices will once again yo-yo, up then down, but probably never down to prior low pricing.
Stock up if you haven’t yet.
And reloading supplies.
Ammoseek/ Grafs. Powder Valley is on my shit list, but there too if you like 500 bucks worth of Bergers getting lost.
https://ammoseek.com if you aren’t already using it. You don’t have to be a member but you’ll get more pages if you sign up with your email address. You also can review or just view reviews of vendors by being a member.
But, there are some suppliers not on ammoseek, so, you might check other places online. Particularly on reloading supplies there are many vendors that are not on ammoseek.

My advice is to zero your gun instead of stockpiling ammo if you’re sitting at 2K rounds or so.
There are a couple of “zeros”. One for close up work with reflex sights and laser designators (like an AR9s and Pistol Caliber Carbiness), and another broad range of medium to long range zeros with glass (other centerfires).
Make sure you zero with your best ammo that you’ve tried out and like in terms of grouping. Different retail ammo of the same caliber prints differently at 100 yards and beyond, with some bullet types having more or less “english” than others. Sight your zeros with the reflex sights or glass at the range or wherever during the day, then sight in your laser designators in at night in your backyard to some known object at your zero distance e.g., 50 or 100 yards; a tree or a garage door. It’s a good idea not to let your neighbors see any of that. And, keep the batteries up…If you have something weird like a 1620 button cell like I do in one platform (Sightmark reflex), get on ebay and order 20 or so.
We are still not seeing “new” people at the range, so, that tells me a lot of guns are not where they should be. Mechanically and otherwise.
…and place both hardware & supplies in multi locations. Inside and outside your residence. Neighbor if possible.
Thank you. I’m hoping things stay slowly for a long time but I’m preparing/prepared for the all at once time.
Things in my area of South Carolina’s low country seem normal but several people I know personally are, like me, expecting things to happen, whether they be big or small. Others haven’t a clue.
“Others haven’t a clue.” Willful ignorance, a state of denial that such evil can happen here in the USA, but what are all those illegal male immigrants of military age doing here if they’re not up to no-good.
I was food shopping the other day. I saw a tall dark man dressed in European like sport clothing with a small man bag. He did not have a shopping cart
or basket. He seemed to be casing the store. I was unsettled. I am in coastal SC.
Sweating w/freshly shaved beards carrying a bag of sorts and mumbling. Soft targets are on the agenda. Although they seem to have progressed from blowing themselves up.
Clean shaven, knit hat.
Knit hat? I don’t think it was cold enough for that until today and maybe that one windy day last week.
Did you make the local authorities aware?
Same area and also prepared.
Hi SC Observer. I want to thank you for answering an issue I had a few days back. You may not remember it, but still I wanted to followup.👌
Thank you Sundance for everything you Do and the knowledge you share!
Brilliant idea. Password protected is definitely a good thing. My son I went shopping yesterday to prepare accordingly. I am kicking myself now bc I used a credit card. Next time will be cash. I miss my husband more each day as this craziness continues!
sweet remark concerning your hubby. i’m sure your son is a chip off the ole block and respect you both. good hunting.
Cash is King…for a while. Now is the while Ms. T.
Very sorry for your loss. Your son is by your side….and your friends.
Mine is still here but I miss him anyway cause he’s not who he was.
….I belive I understand. Stay tough. Blessings.
I am so sorry Kookoo.
I am sorry to hear that. Mine is different since taking the first 2 j@bs while on Deployment early ’21. He was recently diagnosed as being on the spectrum. Possibly from the j@bs? Need to find a detox regimen for him. Prayers for your family Mrs. K!
I have no knowledge this detox works, but I know of many who are trying it. Med Five System. Dr. Ana Mihalcea has been completing live blood analysis for several months now and reporting her findings as to what is showing in the blood of the vax and unvax. Prayers for you and all.

Vigorous exercise and intermittent fasting helps to destroy the spike proteins.
FLCCC recommends that as one of their protocols.
CYM, I hope you see this and I hope it helps. It’s the FLCCC page on post-vaccine syndrome.
Another poster mentioned intermittent fasting, which seems to help the body eliminate the spike protein by promoting autophagy (basically, cellular garbage duty). It’s one of the things mentioned here.

If possible go to the gun shows.
In times like this I feel the same way. My husband passed 2 1/2 yrs. ago. I’m grateful for the treehouse. many blessings and I can honestly say, sorry for your loss…Thanks Sundance for all you do. This place is amazing
Love that movie “Red Dawn”
Thank you Sundance
i’m the dumb one but what is meant by “password protected”. do i have to do something special to be involved? i have no excuse other than i am 75 and whatever you assume goes with that age….it’s even worse. i’ll leave this up but looking around i can now say that i get it. just post but it will not be for public consumption until sundance deems that a go.

[...]I don’t know if this is just my personal view and others aren’t feeling the same thing, but I don’t see how our society continues to function with the amount of chaos, anger, corruption, greed, and depravity, created by and accelerated by psychopathic billionaires and their lackeys attempting to create a New World Order through their Great Reset agenda.
During WW2 the mega money people of industry threw their support behind the Country that made them. There are none of these principled people around anymore. They are that weak they buckle to the Woke resistance.
Exactly QV. I talked to my dad’s cousin, a WWII vet, and said the same thing. He said, it’s ok, we’ll bounce back (the U.S) like we always do (or similar words).
but I said, I dont think we will because the U.S. is not run by principled people anymore.
and that conversation was in early 2020!!! He has since passed away. Sometimes I think it’s good that he (and other veterans) went on to the good Lord in heaven so he is not witness to what’s happening in America.
I say often I am glad my parents don’t have to witness this but they would be of great help. They were principled and lived WWII in Belgium.
I miss them. ♥️
I feel the same way you do, Kristin.
The United States of America is run by principled people. Mechanics, plumbers, farmers, carpenters, electricians, etc. The government of the USA is an unprincipled, corrupt oligarchy which does not run the US. They define a policy which is not law nor a legal framework. Too many people still do not understand this core aspect. When many people stop acquiescing to the not legal framework…..
When all coming across the border are military age men and no women or children the hair on the back of your neck should tell you what’s coming.
I find it remarkable that Sundance retweeted about a Palestinian protest at the University of Washington on X, yet I cannot find anything in the local news about it. 🤷♀️
Not sure what’s your location. Seattle times and mynorthwest had articles.
Olympic Peninsula here…
At Bible study this morning, two people talked about their churches planning drills for their members in the event they had an armed intruder surprise them.
This is getting too real. Is it tie to pack at church?
Yes. Make sure you talk to the pastor to find out who else carries. All churches and synagogues should have security teams. Ours does
My son’s church has had people pack for a long time – years. It’s been about three years since he happened to be in “the right place at the right time” and was primary in talking down a guy who arrived in the large parking with a machete with considerable plans for doing lots of personal type damage. My son, retired LEO, had his wife get on the phone with 911 and then he started talking the guy into some “stillness” and focusing on “what’s going to happen next” – giving the guy handy tips for how to respond when all those cars approaching with sirens started spilling out all their armed occupants. It ended well.
There are MANY churches that have specified members who are carrying every Sunday. The church I mention is in the greater Portland area.
ALWAYS…AND, EVERYWHERE.
I think that’s the whole point of this thread.
Eyes and ears open in northern VA. Nothing to report at this time.
The peoples republic of IL is still squabbling over ‘housing illegals’…as is the SW ‘burbs of Chiraq.
But they’re coming along. They still are stuck in the brain washing but they might break free of it. I hope. They share many of the same concerns as us.
Yes they do…one neighborhood in the city was able to get a temporary restraining order…puts their marxist mayor on notice…he is worse than Lightfoot. And suburbia is copying Chicago when they see the $$$ involved.
You and Bubbles stay safe, Aggiegirl.
Ahhhh, my home state. The United Authoritarian Socialist State of Ilinois. Aka the U ASS of IL. Biggest ass being Prickster. So happy to have escaped to NC in 2019!

Everyone sees the storm on the horizon. Just a matter of timing and magnitude.
I’ve noticed the awakening is percolating out of the back corners of the internet and into the public arena.

Does anyone have a Bryna non lethal self-defense weapon. They are legal in all states and are not considered a firearm. I am looking into it now. I am uncomfortable with a gun; my family were never gun owners. But I do think I need something. If anyone has one of these I would like to hear about your experience. https://byrna.com/
I am located in western NC north of Asheville. There are Antifa in the area. I expect Asheville to have some type of pro-Hamas rally tomorrow. I am spending the day in the woods hiking; figure that is a good place to be if something happens in Asheville area. Most people are probably unaware but I do have a friend here who stays informed and has a shotgun.
I’ve never heard of these, so thank you for the information. I’m not comfortable shooting someone either, but I think my husband expects me to! Ugh!
Be careful of wildfires and lunatics raging in/through the woods!
Electric fences on the property line in wooded areas wired low stop Bears and sure will wake-up or trip a lunatic. If threats develop that voltage and amperage can be adjusted. Property should be properly Posted with warnings.
” I’m not comfortable shooting someone either, but I think my husband expects me to! Ugh!”
Those coming after you and your husband will have absolutely no reservation about shooting either or both of you.
“Get comfortable with being uncomfortable “
– Sundance
Thank you, littleflower, for sharing that info. Looks like a great ‘weapon’ to have in any case.
wrt to hiking in the woods, especially now:
buddy system.
edited to add:
I did check the link you provided, and it’s not something I’d advise for serious protection.
While I certainly wouldn’t want to tangle with one, it’s not an effective weapon of self defense for a real world scenario and might be just enough to get one in serious trouble. (A real world scenario in my world would be predators, human and animal.)
On the other hand, it’s probably something that could be lethal, depending on who it’s used on and the circumstances. So if reluctance to kill is your main concern, there’s that to consider.
So in a practical sense it might be handy in some situations, but against an armed attacker or a predatory animal there needs to be dependably lethal stopping force. Quickly.
In a fight, many everyday things become potentially lethal weapons, and it all depends on spirit and the will to live in those moments.
Much also depends on your environment. You may not need to dodge bears or wake up to mountain lions in your face. You might be in an urban setting, in which case the likelihood of an assailant being armed seems to be increasing.
A very dear, tiny Japanese Hawaiian lady taught me some really valuable perspectives years ago when she told me about the women there all being taught to stick fight during early WW2. Even well into her 80s, the tough men who’d grown up next door to her, would warn anyone that she could still kill you with a broom stick if she wanted to. They meant it. And I can attest, she probably could have. She could outwork almost everyone. (Thank you for your post and this sweet reminder of Mrs. Oyama.)
I wish you well in your search for better self defense. Keep looking, trying stuff and asking questions.
Flower, if it cannot take someone out it may only make the situation worse. I do understand your concern, but these are not normal times. Prepare accordingly, it might be time to learn a new skill. The classes will be full of people just like YOU.
I’m also looking at byrna but have no idea how to use cylinders, etc. The sales people are super helpful (just hope they still are once I purchase lol). I’m an hour west of Asheville. Stay safe all!
I am just north of Asheville…too close actually. I don’t know anything either. Just wondering if it is worth pursuing. Are you going to buy? Where would you go to practice that’s one of my concerns.
I wondered the same thing about where to practice. I appreciate all the wisdom that I gain here. East TN has changed so much in the past 2 years that I don’t think people would believe the difference, especially in the county I live in. I know you are seeing the same in Asheville.
Live here also. Lots of CA influx.
You can handle a weapon. This is not the time for buckling to hurt feelings from your family.
Speak to your family about it or learn in private.
You have no choice.
You might as well use a slingshot if you don’t buy a gun or 12.
Don’t disrespect the slingshot. It might make the right weapon of choice when even subsonic loads are a little too noisy. A good slingshot is absolutely lethal in the right hands.
There’s also the old sling and sling bullets. These are indeed unsung mighty weapons of old, easily capable of stealthily taking out targets. Night vision and sling/sling bullets? Not the greatest combo, but workable if needed.
David killed Goliath with a slingshot. I wonder if shoot someone in the head with the byrna gun might do the same.
David knocked Goliath down with a rock to the head – but he killed him by slicing off his head.
Worked well for David.
There are guns for everyone now, easy rack slides low recoil ammo, etc. Buy a 22 revolver or semi auto if need be. A gun going bang at someone is better than a stick. And pick a neighbor or friend, family member, colleague to take shooting. Practice, do dry fire drills if need be. Make a plan with family members where to meet up. Not much happening here in So. Mn., I think about 90/95% of people here have there head in the sand like nothing bad can/will happen! God speed everyone and keep your powder dry!!!!
Yes. Remember, you dont need supergun / supercaliber, you need to reliably score hits. If that’s a 22LR, then that’s what it is. Get hits.
This!!!
Crossbow?
Nail gun
Wasp spray.
Heck yeah ! They shot 20 ft
Bear spray
We keep wasp spray and a ball bat in each car. Started during the “Summer of Love”.
While living in Colorado, the Denver Post explored all the ways that women could arm themselves. There were a few methods that were explored, all taking into account the strength of an average woman and the courage needed for a
proper defense.
The last was Wasp Spray. I bought a few brands and found that the delivery system is supposed to reach about five feet, aimed at the eyes of the threat.
Sometimes the spray was a foam, others were feeble.
Still looking for a good brand. Better than nothing.
Bengal.
I mentioned my family of another generation. My parents were older when married and had children and back then people didn’t need guns in 1950’s America. It was just not part of the culture. My family surviving is only my 2 siblings and I would not discuss this with them…leftists who live in leftist cities. So only mentioned because I was not raised with guns in the culture.
Thank you for posting the link. I think this may be a good option for some people in specific situations. I hope someone has a Byrna and will share their thoughts and experience with it.
===================================================
SOME * STATES * CONSIDER * BYRNA * TO * BE * A * FIREARM!!!
===================================================
Connecticut:
General Statutes § 53a-3: “Except where different meanings are expressly specified, the following terms have the following meanings when used in this title ․ (19) ‘Firearm’ means any sawed-off shotgun, machine gun, rifle, shotgun, pistol, revolver or OTHER weapon, whether loaded or unloaded, from which a SHOT may be DISCHARGED.”
Discussion:
1) the Byrna would be that “other weapon” in the statute.
2) the Byrna is capable of “discharging a shot”.
3) there’s no statutory requirement that the discharged shot is propelled by gunpowder.
4) In Connecticut, BB and pellet guns are, amazingly, considered “firearms”.
Anyone who carries on their person the Byrna in Connecticut who doesn’t have a Connecticut permit to carry pistols and revolvers is committing a Class D felony. Statutes 29-35(a), 29-37(b).
================================================
CHECK * YOUR * STATE’S * DEFINITION * OF * “FIREARM” *
================================================
Hmmm, so “Shall NOT Be Infringed”, is lawful to have, and unconstitutional to regulate (treason).
The Second Amendment has been infringed ever since passage of the National Firearms Act in 1934. Federal statutes, IIRC, define a firearm as that which discharges a shot by ‘explosion’; meaning gunpowder. Under federal statutes the Byrna isn’t a firearm. Neither are BB and pellet guns. Under CT statutes all three are firearms.
=========================================================================
NEVER rely on ANYONE who says “This isn’t a firearm”! Because 99.999% of those who say that, don’t know what the (blank) they’re talking about. ALWAYS check your state laws for their definition of WHAT * CONSTITUTES * A * FIREARM!!
=========================================================================
Littleflower, I have spoken to several folks recently who voiced the same concern. A class with instructors and range time will help you tremendously with confidence and comfort…highly recommend if you are uncomfortable with a firearm.
The Bryna SD and LE are ok at shocking or slowing someone down, however, if the criminal is intent on hurting you or a loved one, those devices will not stop them…the goal is to completely stop an attack and perhaps stop someone permanently from doing harm.
Everyone will have an opinion on whether it should be a USCCA class or something else, but an organized and serious instructor can make such a difference!
You need to at least get a semi-auto home protection shotgun. Find a NRA location near you and talk to them about the best gun to get for you. Then take lessons from them. Their instructors know what they are doing and don’t judge you for lack of knowledge. That’s what they are there for…knowledge and safety.
Methinks littleflower, and those expressing the same concern, FIRST need to address the issue of WILL.
Guns don’t kill people, PEOPLE, with the WILL to do so, kill people.
We are entering HARD times, and survival or not times.
Each will be tested, if the only option is kill or be killed, what will you do?
Suppose a “refugee” is begging to be let into YOUR safe refuge, but you know you do not have enough resources for you n yours, AND for them n theirs,…will you say “No”?
If your not prepare to take a life, to save you and yours,…WHAT are you looking for a weopon FOR?
Address “moral dilemna issues FIRST, THEN can focus on hardware questions.
And if you’re not willing to hurt people who want to break in and take all of the food and prep items you’ve been stashing for your family, stashing them was a complete waste of time and money.
Good points about lethal force but …
What would be most useful in places where you can not take guns? For example what good is a gun if you can’t take it with you in your car if you are traveling across country or if don’t have a conceal permit?
Or even if you do, you still can’t take them in schools, Federal buildings libraries, coffee shops, etc.
Is bear spray just as good as a $400 gun? Love to hear opinions on this.
Crow bar, bear spray, bat, machete, 3 inch small knife, iron frying pan. No, in a gun fight, bear spray is not good, but throwing the can at their head just might knock them out. Not always legal: brass knuckles, clawed gloves, ball on a chain, special pen (stilleto)
Our Sheriffs office does them for free every few months or so.
If someone is trying to kill you but you are unwilling to use lethal force against them, the consequences are your fault.
Go to a local pew shop. Ask the the man behind the counter if they have a card for someone who does training.
Spend a few hundred to get acclimated. I’m sure a trainer will have a device that you can work with a little.
Good folks are eager to help and ensure you practice your rights safely.
Recommend .410 or 20ga for beginner in-home.
I would recommend a tool with more lethality. You can do it.
I was not familiar with that product, but reviewed the link, and having had experience with paintball markers and firearms I’ll offer some advice.
Conclusion: I think you’d be better served going to your local gun store and taking a class and handling some weapons. A good .38 caliber revolver would probably serve you well, it’s easy to use, it’s fairly easy to maintain, it’s easier for smaller hands or for those with arthritis to use. You can easily carry it on your person or even in a clutch. You’ll have as many shots as one of Byrnas weapons, and they’ll definitely be more of a deterrent. Some .38s are just about the same price as the Byrna weapons.
If you just can’t bring yourself to get a gun get the Byrna that suits you best and practice practice practice. But I think once you get into it, and if you actually enjoy it, it’ll be your gateway to a firearm. Once you empower yourself, and realize you don’t have to be a victim, I think you’ll sort it out.
on person not in any kind of bag
So we post here? NW major cities have expanded their reach into the suburbs. They put up massive apartments and fill with progressive voters. You can see the drug use and homeless fire up almost immediately. They create all sorts of events and celebrations for minorities and dole out grants to non whites.
You can now see the crime rate grow as the Huns populate the areas and know there are no repercussions.
Central VA. Massive condo / apartment construction everywhere, in once-wealthy county of formerly single-family suburbs. ==> demand for services vastly outstripping tax base. Brand new, will be slums in < 2-3 years, less if economy collapses. Side issue, commercial RE is dead, I wonder where the money will come from to roll these loans over in 5 years? Jingle mail / banks abandon / county fills them with illegals.
Re: self defense posts above. Those of you who don't believe in violence, get ready to hide behind someone who does.
Netanyahu wants to empty Gaza, and now has an excuse to do it. Guess where they're coming?
Defense Sec. Austin: 'No conditions' on use of US military support to Israel'. More violence = more 'refugees' headed our way.
His stateent came with a caveat:
US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said after the NATO meeting on Thursday that Washington was not placing any conditions on its security assistance to Israel and expected Israel’s professional military to “do the right things”.

Stay safe.
Capitol Region of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg. AKA Pennsyltucky!
We are currently visiting the area. It’s extremely crowded here. Wsll to wall people.
Business is still rolling along in OKC.
Folks are still in restaurants, but it is a lighter crowd during the week (~10 to 15% neg.).
Otherwise, no one seems phased.
We’re still running normal out NW of ya. People are concerned, they know me and how I live and I’m getting asked a lot of questions from people I would normally just say hi to and have small talk. Food prep is a big one.
August, rice at local Sam’s was still $0.52 a pound in 25# bags. Now it’s gone.
Same in Edmond.
Prepped for possible ice storms ahead – generators, fuel, food, firewood, 9 and 556, etc.
SD’s hurricane prep list overlaps much of what’s needed for any emergency.
On the 10th, I received an email from someone in the Houston area.
He said he had been to Costco, sams, and HEB. He claimed that each store had wall to wall
mideasterners in full garb, stocking up like crazy.
I can think of a couple of different reasons for them to be preparing to hunker down, or to aid some people.
Just second hand information, but curious if anyone else has seen the similar.
Okay, this flew right over my head: ” . . . midwesterners in full garb . . . ” Is that code? What does that look like?
Look again. Mideasterners.
Thanks, lolli. But I still don’t know how to recognize them.
Haha. You will know when you see them.
Like someone who just got out of the shower… towel on the head, bathrobe, pajamas and slippers.
Thanks, Baileysdad! I was thinking of mideasterners like between NYS and NC. LOL!!!
Mideasterners= middle east
Usually black pjs
Thank you for that, Baileysdad 😂
Dark skin, dark hair, full beards, lots of facial hair. The full sideburns come up the face in a slant. Some wear slops and socks and long shirt/dresses over trousers. Accompanied by fully garbed women and 20 children in tow
do you mean people from middle east?
This is funny. This person I know lived in the Middle East for a couple of decades.
He refers to people from ME that way. I thought it was obvious what I meant.
Apologies to those who really didn’t understand.
lol Now that we figured that out.
What you’re describing of major stocking up middle easterners in full garb is disconcerting.
What whispers have they heard?
Reminds me of early 2020 when suddenly no masks to be found as certain ones bought them all……
“What you’re describing of major stocking up middle easterners in full garb is disconcerting.”
Agree…this is “signal not noise”.
Pre-Trump when islamic terrorism was a big problem in the US, I remember reading that there was a terrorist cell operating out of mosque somewhere that got busted. Considering the swarms of pro-Palestian/Hamas protesters on our public streets this week, it stands to reason they probably coordinate plans at their mosques. We shouldn’t assume their Imams are non-political, like so many Christian pastors are. While the FBI have infiltrators who come to listen to parent’s rights speakers at our local conservative church, is it likely they’re also listening in at the mosques?
lolli, I’ve never lived in the middle east nor any other foreign country and I knew exactly what you meant. Where is Bjorkdream?
Thank you, Dixie, I appreciate your saying so.
I thought they were joking, at first.
So weird. 😂
Ive been wondering where bjorkdream is….
Maybe just busy. I hope he is ok.
Ha ha. That’s what I first read.
I would have written it as middle easterners.
Brevity can be a problem. Apologies.
Thanks for admitting that, Dante. I was feeling very foolish!!
No code. As for me and FYI:
Somalis wrapped in the clothing of their country in Africa shop at Sams in the KCMO area on weekends. Very used to them. Most are women shoppers, likely Muslim.
Staying aware of changes these days.
Was in manassas, Tyson, Springfield area last week, Costco full of burqas, lines to the back of the store
Thank you.
Interesting.
This is an excellent idea since I believe nothing on the propaganda broadcast. All’s quiet out here on the north WA coast.
Hubby has all prepped for hunting season and I’m giving away extra veggies they didn’t have to neighbors, garden has been abundant this year.
around 4 years ago I told my wife that things would get dicey once the homeless people on the corners became Haitians. For a while back then it started to happen, but WuhanFlu lockdowns stalled it. So far, I have not seen it happen to an alarming degree but have been expecting it.
A lot of Brazillians showed up recently, after/around their latest election.
Majority of the Uber drivers are of the poor ME variety usually, which is a whole concern in and of itself, and why I never take them.
Most of the food and grocery delivery is done by BLM folks around here… exposing entire neighborhoods to discovery that heretofore were left undiscovered. My few interations have been quite humorously pleasant and cordial, ironically enough, seeing some BLM kid with gold teeth and dreadlocks, covered tatoos, hand me a bag of dog food and some cocktail pickles and with perfect English inquire “Is there anything else I can do for you today, sir? Thank you, have a great day and please leave a positive review!” But that again is a whole conversation for another day…
Reporting from Urban Dystopia, USA.
Boy seeing what you wrote makes me so glad we sold everything in Las Vegas and moved out to rural in 21. Be safe.
Retired Magistrate here: Central Ohio reporting in. We are prepared and have been for quite some time. Most people around here don’t have a clue about what might happen.
I pray that GOD will have mercy on us.
Just beware, as i’m sure you are Marcia, Franklin County is a Sanctuary as is Hamilton.
BTW Go Buckeyes
These threads are invaluable. Many thanks.
Thanks, smart move…
Clean and Oil everything that goes bang
And stock up on that stuff that flies out of the bang sticks!
Gotcha covered from Utah
Now we have to consider a sudden terror attack in addition to SAF. My daughter is in Chicago and unfortunately that place is way on the boil. She reports that illegals are everywhere, in front of the grocery store, gym, in the park. Aggressively begging (males suggesting strongly) which turns to taking. She’s a few miles north of the downtown. As bad as the crime was there already it is increasing commensurately with the critical mass of illegals.
The Coastal Bend in Texas seems…. quiet…. many uninformed others waiting.
A friend in southwest Connecticut said ME in full outfits sowing the same as in Houston….
Hubby works for a conceal carry company. Class attendance in Boston is 5 times higher than normal. Austin instructors are getting lots of calls for classes too. Will have a better idea next week about national numbers.
I’m in north mid/east ohio but in the country. I’m not out a lot but I haven’t noticed changes in people or behaviors.
I’m interested to hear how phoenix is – I have a granddaughter on her own out there. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Quieter than usual but I don’t get out lots.
Great idea! Denver metro will certainly be a hub of interest.
May God’s blessings be upon us all.
Thanks Sundance, God Bless
I’m a little concerned about lack of police presence in central west fl area considering threat level and fear child going to school tomorrow. I don’t feel enough attention has been brought to specific threat.
+1
Everything is normal here in the Dixie region of Southwest Utah. The folks here are friendly, polite and helpful. Until they get behind the wheel of a car or truck. Then, Boy Howdy….
We live in SW Utah as well. When we moved from CA seven years ago I would guess the average percentage of non-whites at Smith’s grocery store was something like 5%. Now it’s giving me the impression of being a “stranger in a strange land” at about eight times that percentage now. It’s reminding me more and more of California demographically.
Lots of noise in Central Virginia….the State November elections are quickly approaching so attack ads against conservatives are everywhere.
Well done Sundance; thank you for this.
Central Virginia suburb. Situational awareness is absolutely key. Head on a swivel at all times. Trust yourself first and prepare.
Function checks on all weapons (please tell me you’ve got plenty). Rounds in weapons, and in magazines or speedloaders. Practice loading those mags. Stage weapons and ammo where you can get to them quickly — yes safety is important, but you’re gonna need quick access. Extra security in and around your home; lights on all night.
Now, live your lives, love your significant others and pray — ceaselessly. I don’t know any of you personally, but I feel a strong kinship to you all. I would gladly fight alongside each of you. Stay strong and keep the faith.
Love to you all.
I lost all my guns in a boating accident
Wow! Hope everyone was OK. How large was the fish?
How coincidental…..as did I. Terrible accident.
I lost all mine when they were consumed down the crevasse during the last big earthquake in the Great White North.
Location – relatively quiet right now.
I have the task of moving our first load of mostly tools and essentials from our primary house in UT to our soon to close (10/30) second home in FL. I and our dog will be making the trip in my truck, the wife will fly a few days after I leave. Lots of thoughts running through my head as we prepare. Our young adult sons will be holding down the fort here in UT. Any advice for the trip would be appreciated. Plan to stick to main interstates. We have left this house purchase and all plans involving it in the Lords hands. If the SHTF before close we may not proceed. We live in interesting times.
Get a buddy to ride shotgun.
or a BIG dog
Fuel during daylight hours.
Avoid rest areas always and stop at fairly busy and well lit stations, restaurants or hotels for breaks. Never, ever stop on the shoulders of the interstates or main highways unless true emergency and can’t move.
Plan your stops ahead and stop outside the major cities in small cities or towns. Try to avoid travel through major cities during rush hours and use routes which go around rather than through a major city during rush hour.
You can make better time at night with lighter traffic but risk is increased due to decreased visibility and hazards like remnants of tires or deer or livestock or drunks. Daylight is safer.
Stay alert and look around before exiting vehicle at any stop. Check your vehicle over carefully before trip and before resuming trip each day. Tires, tire pressure, oil level, antifreeze level, wipers/washer fluid, heat defrost/ac.
Don’t park far from rest stop rest rooms. Thieves rent u-haul style trucks, park next to isolated cars of obvious travelers, steal everything in the cars, then drive away.
Solid advice.
Thanks Monticello for these tips, I’m headed north with my sis for her heart check next weekend. It’s just us two so we’ll be extra cautious at the rest areas. We have dogs traveling with us. Been making this trip from SW Florida to outside Chicago all of my life, but each time it gets a little dicier. Really appreciate your comments.
Had illegal walk in front of my car in broad daylight and I almost could not stop, not near intersection busy A1A.
Stop for fuel and food only at Truckstops
That’s my typical travel plan as well.
Check concealed carry laws of the states you travel through. Reciprocity is helpful in Hopefully unlikely event you have to defend you and your family.
We are soooo ready….all my Nightshift listening to Art Bell, Alex Jones, and Mark Steyn is paying off.
Alex is a nut to some, but he was right about a lot of things, especially Obama, and the UN WHO “vax scene” plans, way back in the early 90’s.
Knowledge of these EVIL people and their agenda can likely have a deep psychological effect and an overwhelming sense of responsibility.
Art Bell….memories of late night drives cross country. Watch out for the shapeshifters!
I am using my remote viewing skills… I can detect… you are sitting in front of a computer…
Art kept me entertained many a night on the rig site I was working
I was just in Phrump, NV, last week and Art Bell was certainly on my mind.
“Eyes Open, No Fear, Be Safe Everyone” – Ben Davidson from Supicious Observers
Same here. Many long drives Art accompanied me on.
Reporting from the suburbs of Nueva York, it seems that the natives are very restless down in Manhattan. This is on top of the ongoing horror show that’s being caused by the hundred thousand plus illegals who are now occupying every free space they can find, including sidewalks.
We have already seen the disgraceful behavior and demonstrations by the anti-Semitic, pro Hamas, Demo Commies in the heart of the City. These devils are not backing down, you won’t get any apologies from anyone.
Tomorrow is the Jihadi’s so called “day of rage” and I can tell you that everyone in my circle who might have business down there, have canceled their appointments for another day. Nobody wants to take a chance of being stuck on the island if the s**t hits the fan. Keep in mind that Manhattan is a densely populated, tiny island that is very difficult to get out of in the event of an attack.
In the suburbs where I live, I am seeing strong support for Israel, even amongst the Libs. There are prayer services at many synagogues in the downstate area. Finally, after all the BS with the phony Ukraine war, we are hearing chants of “all we are saying is give peace a chance.”
I have no faith in the ability or desire of any police agency to protect us in case something happens. Out here most everyone is armed and some to the max. My county is still majority MAGA so you can imagine that we are prepared in many ways.
Thanks as always, Sundance for being our scribe and our scout!
I emailed my BIL to stay out of NYC for jihad day, he said he was not going to be there ever. He’s Jewish.
Excellent forum, Sundance.
Thank you, will check in often.
Unfortunately here in NY there are very limited gun allowances.
However, the car will remain fully gassed up and prepared to ram straight through any threat.
”I was in fear for my life”
Kmow it
Learn it
Live it
God bless you, sir, and all patriotic Treepers 🙏🏼❤️
My father found himself with a flat tire on Houston in the early 80’s. He pulled into a gas station but it was a Rican place and they saw his “English Only “ bumper sticker and graciously shot the other 3 tires for him. I don’t miss NYC.
Thank you, Sundance. I’m not gonna lie, I’m afraid.
When we Believe, we focus on God not the storm 🙏🏼
We truly are all in this together 🇺🇸🫶🏼
Truly a time to “let go and let God”.
It’s okay to be afraid. Use that fear to think through different situations and how you would handle them. “The Gift of Fear” by Gavin Debecker (sp?) is an excellent book to read.
Practice situational awareness. Always know where the exits are.
I second “The Gift of Fear”. He also has a “Masterclass” on how listening to your gut, your baser instincts, can literally save your life.
Highly recommended.
I’m a three armed and three legged man everywhere now.
SoCal area. Sanctuary stronghold, although more conservative area than south and further north. I’ve noticed for a while the level of urgency that seems to be rising, just in grocery shopping. It’s like Christmas is next week. Kind of strange.
SoCal suburbia will be a mess quickly if something happens locally.
NW Az, Ruby red area, a 2A Sanctuary county, in a 2A sanctuary State, and live about 25 min. from town.
Just did our monthly shopping, noticed all stores had lots of “stockers” keeping the shelves full.
Everyone, even looney lefties, can sense “something in the air”.
Diesel was way high, and the brandon “I did that!” sticker on the pump was unmolested.
Curious of a way to share personal info through this site without showing online.
Would be helpful to be in touch with local treepers if needed.
Edit – contact info
Get a Wolverines t-shirt and wear it proudly?
No We dont need to advertise the p/w. There are some bad lurkers here.
Oh, to have regional “get togethers” of Treepers,…so many dear friends here, that I have never met!
There was good turnout at the flag rallies held in the OKC area late summer and fall of ’20.
I think ’24 will be bigger and better organized.
Seems like a golden opportunity for a local to regional meet up.
Planning ahead…
Familiar with the password for protected posts? Nope, I am not, though this one has been frequenting this site (mostly, lurking) off and on for the last few years. I’m not a big enough fish for that.
I will wait until the SAF postings are made available. I can wait.
Until then – I know full well S will HTF, probably sooner rather than later. I’m not necessarily worried about who is going to cause the SHTF happening – I’m looking for the opportunists waiting in the wings.
The French Revolution was bad. Napoleon and his men (the opportunists) afterward were worse.
Locked. Loaded. Reloading.

There is a picture at the bottom of this post Sundance wrote. The key that unlocks future password protected posts is the word without the quotes or explanation point in the pic.
Advice on satellite phones? Assume that if you can keep one charged during a natural or other disaster it would be helpful. Maybe it would be just as easy for authorities to jack with satellite phones working as with internet and cell connections.
My friend has Starlink. His business depends on internet and he says it never goes out.
I can fill you in from the Rio Grande Valley. I’m located about 5 miles from Mexico.
please do so. also, you can email me – i’m in contact w/other ranchers nearby.
I have for many years felt quite isolated in this blue blue area, so I rely heavily on this site and a few, a very few, others to not feel like I’m all alone in my sanity. Unless you’re in such a position you can’t imagine how direly one needs this reassurance.
Well looky here, money does grow on trees:

My son lives in that hell hole of a city. I can think of a million other things that money should go towards. Ole Tish thinks this will get her some votes. She’s likely not wrong 😒
Long time reader. First time commenter. Best site on web. Keep it up.
