The House of Representatives is currently debating the removal of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Earlier today, Democrats unanimously joined with Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and 11 conservatives to support advancing the speaker’s removal. Now Matt Gaetz is defending himself.
(Via Politico) – The Republicans who voted to proceed to a final vote on evicting McCarthy were Reps. Warren Davidson (Ohio), Eli Crane (Ariz.), Ken Buck (Colo.), Victoria Spartz (Ind.), Andy Biggs (Ariz.), Matt Rosendale (Mont.), Matt Gaetz (Fla.), Bob Good (Va.), Nancy Mace (S.C.), Tim Burchett (Tenn.) and Cory Mills (Fla.). Spartz has already said she plans to flip her stance and ultimately support keeping McCarthy on.

Trump remains problematic for me. He got my votes 100% in the past and I am 100% behind a MAGA platform (regardless of the candidate – Trump or someone else). At times I think he is just an actor in a big play though. He was the one that brought forth the injections and touted them as the major achievement of his admin. His daughter was named a young leader of the World Economic Forum. To my knowledge, he has never exposed the WEF for what/who they are. He has supported Kev and Ronna. He is the best option for our country….but every day I do scratch my head and wonder if I am being played by someone that is just playing his role in the whole Agenda 2030 thing.

My rep, who represents the vast geographical majority of Oregon, voted with most Republicans to retain McCommie. I’ve long been suspect of him but he’s entrenched and, like with the Commies in Oregon, a few core cities in his district control the vote and it’s all mail-in; no polls.
Personally, I expect a bunch of back room dealing to go on and McCommie to stand again. Are we in for a turkey day shutdown? Sure seems to be shaping up that way.
