From real life requested conversations in the last few days, some of the discussion is worth sharing.
Knowing who you are, I mean really knowing what your core center of values and purpose is about, is very important as the storms of constructed chaos swirl around us.
Like a national hurricane, everything swirling around us seems chaotic and mad right now. The chaos is purposeful and comes from a multitude of directions almost simultaneously. However, also like a national hurricane it is possible to stay calm in the eye of the storm; but only if you are truly centered to the guiding elements of life that create the core purpose.
Faith in a loving and purposeful God grounds the soul to the truest of true things. Do not diminish this importance.
Those who use the skills of division to achieve their chaotic purpose, well understand that isolation -the dark imagining- first begins with a rejection of God. Therefore, put God into everything; spend time with Him, and not just at the prescheduled times of worship. Put God into your life, keep Him there, and take purposeful action in every moment to ensure the armor plate He provides is with you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper.
Once you have that anchor solidly in place, then resolve to maintain your core values. “Resolve” is a misunderstood word; it is not a static sensibility. Resolve is an action-oriented word that takes thought, practice and internal reminding mechanisms. The core values are not only what you believe, but also who you are, who you present yourself to be to those around you.
Standing steadfast with your guiding principles and values in place, then establishes your ability to withstand chaos and remain on mission. Your family, friends, allies and supporters will navigate the crisis as long as you are resolute. This doesn’t mean you are not flexible, flexibility to the dynamics of the moment is necessary. However, holding that true compass heading will keep your purpose well defined.
You will be tested, sometimes brutally, and you will be tempted to get pulled away from the core purpose of your effort and into the surrounding foray, but this is where the active decision to remain resolute comes into play.
You must actively be the lighthouse in order for those who need you to navigate toward it. The lighthouse doesn’t reach out or change location to make itself more directionally visible for those in need. You cannot control their view; the lighthouse remains consistent and steadfast, and those who need the waypoint will find a way to get it back into sight.
We are living in an era of purposeful crisis. The situations we discuss are chaotic and mad, because they have been purposefully created to be that way. The counter-effort to combat this seemingly perpetual crisis is to refuse to be destabilized by what they manufacturer. Stay on mission.
This advice flows purposefully toward many. In this context it is about leadership, and the massive efforts underway by those with bad intent to target the leadership of groups and organizations whose purpose is to combat the chaos. However, the same advice is personal and can be attributed to those who are in a position to protect their family, their community or their civic assembly.
Our nation needs strong leaders, and I’m not talking about politicians. We need strong mules who will plow into fields that have never been attempted before. Train yourself mentally to withstand the turmoil and lead your family, friends, group, tribe or community with a fierce and unrelenting resolve.
Despite the chaos they create, our national adversaries are weak people devoid of pure character. Their arguments are shallow, filled with hypocrisy and they rely upon you to pretend their creation is real or holds merit; it is not, and it doesn’t.
Do not give value to the shallow constructs of evil intent and use brutal honesty in a very public way to expose them.

To my husbands horror I was a Mule at the Grocery store. A woman who was running for Mayor was outside peddling her bs. I eyed her after I dropped him off in the rain. No worries I parked my truck and marched up. It wasn’t pretty but It was a goodie. Ended with my husband demanding we go home. As we were walking to the truck I felt powerful and calm. Btw, she didn’t make the cut.

I am afraid, that too many people have contented their conscience with just letting the “other guys” bear all the blame: especially Bible-believing Christians, who should know, that this is a time for searching our hearts, and setting our accounts in order with God. For He is the One calling ALL the shots, and He alone says who and who will not be in power.

Business is in business, to make money….my corollary to that is, “any way they can”.
You painted ALL business persons with the same brush. There are many who do not live as you indicate.
Certainly, there are many small businesses that are not as Aggiegirl indicates, and even some privately held corporations, but it seems that once they are publicly traded, many, perhaps most corporations DO fit this description. When the only morality is the bottom line without care to what it means or represents, it is ugly. I think the “any way they can” Aggiegirl describes is too frequently the case, but it’s not just in business. Frequently, it’s in government too, though they’re not strictly “making money.”
The Sept. 23 daily meditation from 24 Hours a Day is very satisfying : “Draw nigh unto God and he will draw nigh unto you.” When you are faced with a problem beyond your strength, you must turn to God by an act of faith. It is that turning to God in each trying situation that you must cultivate. The turning may be glad gratefulness for God’s presence in your life. Or your appeal to God may be a powerful claiming of His strength to face a situation and finding you have it when the time comes. Not only the power to face trials, but also the comfort and joy of God’s nearness and companionship are yours for the asking.

I find this advice to be true in all cases: Not just in the political arena or in relationships while the focus is on politics and government. I find it true in every area of my life.
The stable relationships, churches, family, and even marriage — formerly a source of strength and stability, are becoming unstable due to the forces of chaos in this world.
I find that following the universal principles of truth, common sense, listening to others – is no longer enough.
For true stability and focus, confidence, hope, and direction I am having to focus on the fact that God is our Creator, I was created for a purpose, and that is really all that matters. Whether my world be in a wonderful community like where I grew up, or today’s chaos, or we descend to a holocaust, a Venezuela, a civil war, a world war, or become slaves — It is on Christ I must resolve to put my focus daily, allowing Him to transform me.

This is an important distinction to make, as I believe that many of us cling to the mistaken belief that our faith in God ‘stops’ the slings and arrows. The reality appears to be quite the opposite.
The Bible plainly prophesies that Christians will be targeted and persecuted for our beliefs. Evil, in fact, is drawn TO our beacon and aims to extinguish God’s Light within us. This is, indeed, a perilous time for Christians to persevere.
Our faith is *tested* not when our path is an easy one, but when we stumble across the roadblocks Lucifer throws across our path. To shake him off, we must trust the road less traveled: the narrower, harder path that leads to salvation.
No weapon formed against us shall prosper; however, keep in mind that our *earthly* bodies are finite. It is the *souls* of the faithful that are ultimately saved from destruction.
How ironic is it then, that Lucifer, the father of lies, prowls the earth right now, dangling ‘immortality’ via gene edits in exchange for ..you guessed it.. our souls.

As the new teaching director of a large Bible study class in an international organization, I am finding that the battle for faithfulness to scripture takes many forms. My job now is bringing this class solidly back in line, and teaching in ways that glorify God and lead class members into a closer walk with Him.

Transactions at and south of the border are fraught with uncertainty and I don’t have the resources to accommodate them so although I have looked into it the information is so varied and leaves me so vulnerable that I just don’t dare. When you read comments/stories of all the hardship government officials put people through – believe them. My first experience crossing the border taught me that.
When the news tells us that our new residents were released to the streets to fend for themselves because shelters are full all citizens should be screaming in protest. That’s our own government giving them the OK to commit crimes on us! What kind of government is that?

Tbh, it doesn’t seem chaotic. It’s all flowing in one direction: lawlessness. Being able to accurately label them as Communists, and knowing the history of Communism in Europe and South America, allows one to see it all aligning purposefully.
But, boy I can’t wait for the vengeful God of the Old Testament to show his face again. It’s funny we’re all sitting here like King David imploring God to pour out his vengeance on his enemies. But instead of hiding out in a cave running from King Saul, we’re on the Internet burning with righteous anger against Biden and the Communists.
Churches have failed us, but God never will. Cling to Him in these times.
Can’t agree with this. Man may have failed the Church, but the Church belongs to Christ.
Perhaps another way to phrase it is to say people in church leadership have failed us and failed Christ.
