The Sunday Times, a Rupert Murdoch publication in the U.K, published a hit piece against Russell Brand accusing him of rape and sexual assault 20-years ago. It did not take long before the accusations triggered the cancel culture and YouTube demonetized the actor and pundit. Russell Brand has vehemently denied the allegations.
However, in a remarkable escalation the U.K Parliament is now targeting Russell Brand. The British government has sent a letter to U.S. social media companies, including video platform provider Rumble demanding they take action against Brand. Not only is the British government targeting an individual and demanding action over an unproven allegation, but they are also sending a letter to the U.S. company demanding acquiescence to their censorship demand.
Standing solidly on the side of freedom, Rumble said no. However, now Rumble is the subject of a global smear campaign using a variety of media outlets and constructed controversies. Today, Russell Brand responded to the overall effort by the British government. {Direct Rumble Link} WATCH:

“Nuts!”
Just one more step in closing down free speech on the web. Wasn’t that something Sundance has brought to our attention recently? You know, those darn spiders crawling everywhere. Circle the wagons, we’re being attacked – again.
We may be circling the wagons, but we aren’t circling back – or circling the drain!
Howdy Mass…,
That is prolly one of the *real* reasons.
Unfortunately, I can no longer find Brand’s latest RFK interview.
It is a shocker, though.
Wish I could find it…

Guys, he admitted (actually laughed about) exposing himself to a woman right after it happened on his radio show.
The woman who is accusing him of rape, went to a clinic that night. Froze her underwear, went on antibiotics and took the morning after pill. She also has text messages that seem pretty damning.
He might have been speaking truth, but he’s not a good guy. He’s not someone we ought to embrace.
And how does that justify censorship?
I’m not arguing for that. I just don’t think we should embrace Brand.
How about using a legal system to try him, get any exculpatory evidence on record and let a jury decide? Or r u a Democrat who prefers mob rule?
I agree, Brand deserves his day in court.
Why didn’t she report it then? She froze her underwear and went to a clinic that night – did it then get reported to the police? What about the rape kit?
I don’t know why she decided not to press charges at the time. People don’t always act in a rational way when they’ve been traumatized.
She did have the good sense to get on antibiotics and it was the clinic who froze her underwear. I wasn’t as clear as I could have been in my earlier post.
How many people in Hwood have done disgusting and despicable things?
All these many years later, just after a few interesting interviews, the offended are
literally summoned by someone(??) to
take Russell Brand down.
Why now?
It’s terrible that people in high places are allowed to get away w/ horrible things. But, I don’t think allowing more people to get away w/ horrible things will make the world better.
Why what Brand did, is now being focused on is unimportant to me.
This Idiotic and legalistic thinking and running your mouth enables and advances the Leftist’s agenda.
Furthermore, I have noticed that Pharisees like yourself usually have some VERY dirty secrets they are covering up.
Were you drinking when you posted that?
Rupert Murdoch – NOW do those appearing on the Epstein Island client list.
Two things are probably true: He’s guilty, and the government / tech actions are abominable.
What are the odds a man like Brand, swimming in a sea of Hollywood celebs and establishment government actors, didn’t do the thing we accuse all of them of doing? Not good. But the government and tech actions are not just bad, they’re nearing the last straw before violence becomes the only recourse.
I used to watch all that good stuff from Great Britain religiously – every Sunday evening, while ironing my blouses for the week, watching Alistair in his beautiful red leather wingback chair, telling me about the program for that evening –
many of my most favorite actors and actresses, directors and writers from Great Britain.
I don’t think GB is quite what it used to be!
Last night I got all set to watch this documentary about the Abdication of King Edward V111 – all that was leading up to that with Wallis Simpson , , , saw that it was available on BBC through Prime Video and my Mom said it was okay by her, she was going to read a book . . . we both pretty much know all the details of the affair and the abdication but I thought it might be told well.
So, this is where I got really annoyed . . . one of the commentators, a History Expert, sitting very primly in her neat black suit, dainty earrings and carefully coiffed pixie-haircut, said at one point in the proceedings that “Wallis was going to go nuclear”. Wait! What? Wallis was going to go nuclear? This was 1936 . . . well before “going nuclear” became a thing! It just annoyed me that was the phrase she had at hand and she used it.
Alistair wouldn’t have put it that way . . . and if perchance he did, the editors would have corrected it before it was aired.
If Russell Brand can be removed from YouTube due to sexual assault allegations, then shouldn’t YouTube remove Joe Biden due to Tara Reade’s sexual assault allegations?!!!
