Annnd… Here we go. If you have not read the background {Go Deep}, you will not have the appropriate context to absorb the latest revelation about how the Dept of Defense will now conduct online monitoring operations, using enhanced AI to protect the U.S. internet from “disinformation” under the auspices of national security.
Gee, who would have predicted that U.S. internet operations would suddenly have a totally new set of enhanced AI guardians at the gateways? 👀
Read Carefully – Eyes Wide Open:
The US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has contracted New York-based Accrete AI to deploy software that detects “real time” disinformation threats on social media.
The company’s Argus anomaly detection AI software analyzes social media data, accurately capturing “emerging narratives” and generating intelligence reports for military forces to speedily neutralize disinformation threats.
“Synthetic media, including AI-generated viral narratives, deep fakes, and other harmful social media-based applications of AI, pose a serious threat to US national security and civil society,” Accrete founder and CEO Prashant Bhuyan said.
“Social media is widely recognized as an unregulated environment where adversaries routinely exploit reasoning vulnerabilities and manipulate behavior through the intentional spread of disinformation.
“USSOCOM is at the tip of the spear in recognizing the critical need to identify and analytically predict social media narratives at an embryonic stage before those narratives evolve and gain traction. Accrete is proud to support USSOCOM’s mission.”
But wait… It gets worse!
[PRIVATE SECTOR VERSION] – The company also revealed that it will launch an enterprise version of Argus Social for disinformation detection later this year.
The AI software will provide protection for “urgent customer pain points” against AI-generated synthetic media, such as viral disinformation and deep fakes.
Providing this protection requires AI that can automatically “learn” what is most important to an enterprise and predict the likely social media narratives that will emerge before they influence behavior. (read more)
Now, take a deep breath…. Let me explain.
The goal is the “PRIVATE SECTOR VERSION.” USSOCOM is the mechanical funding mechanism for deployment, because the system itself is too costly for a private sector launch. The Defense Dept budget is used to contract an Artificial Intelligence system, the Argus anomaly detection AI, to monitor social media under the auspices of national security.
Once the DoD funded system is created, the “Argus detection protocol” – the name given to the AI monitoring and control system, will then be made available to the public sector. “Enterprise Argus” is then the commercial product, created by the DoD, which allows the U.S. based tech sectors to deploy.
The DoD cannot independently contract for the launch of an operation against a U.S. internet network, because of constitutional limits via The Posse Comitatus Act, which limits the powers of the federal government in the use of federal military personnel to enforce domestic policies within the United States. However, the DoD can fund the creation of the system under the auspices of national defense, and then allow the private sector to launch for the same intents and purposes. See how that works?

So an offshoot of this topic came up in the chat forums for a PC game I used to play. I re-broadcast the assertions Sundance has curated on that site. I’m sure y’all can predict the names I was called.
Oh well, perhaps someone who didn’t reply had a light bulb turn on.
All we can do is try to inform.
Indeed, I call it planting seeds.
You never know when circumstances will provide the proper conditions for them to grow but if the seeds aren’t there, there is no chance.
At least as long as the bots don’t pull the seeds up. I shared a statement the other day about not complying with any more vaccine mandates on FB, and boom; almost instantly the little commies took it down.
You will become an outcast like I am.
They don’t like it when you try to explain what’s happening. As was mentioned in an earlier video, some people would actually rather die ignorant than open their eyes to the truth. I know quite a few like that.
Boy, did you call this one, Sundance!
Reminds me movie in the 70’s: Colossus–The Forbin Project
Sometimes art imitates life. That was a good movie. It was way ahead of its time.
Argus = Panopticon
Predictive programming.
How much is this going to cost the American taxpayers and when did the United States Congress authorize it?
The Constitution doesn’t authorize it.
The very people who call good evil and evil good
are the same ones who will decide what is disinformation, misinformation and malinformation.
They are wicked people.
Fear is the only weapon they have
Not to worry, Conservatism, Inc will make sure this never goes anywhere. Because they care.

Welp, the timing of them rolling out this new surveillance/censorship arsenal seems to be proof they are planning to make sure the 2024 election turns out the way the Fascist global Tyrants have planned. These tools can be used to eliminate any information that could influence people to vote against their candidate, and censor anyone who reports election improprieties and election fraud. Just like they did in 2020, but with a more perfected tool to eliminate the truth from the internet. People have been warning this is coming and now here we are.
Sundance, it seems it is only a matter of time before this site will be labeled “misinformation” and taken down. We’ll see how this plays out and pray that won’t happen. Thank you for all of your hard work and great articles to keep us in the know and provide such a great place for people to share their thoughts. Please let us know if you move to some other venue. May God Bless you and keep you safe. May God Bless America.
Did it occur to anyone that the spooks have already been using AI systems like this for some time?
Also that the spooks have been using the AI on fused surveillance inputs, not just social media?
Inputs including reader comments like these, smartphone microphone feeds, and everything else combined?
The spooks know that Trump is unbeatable……this is the next step to control everything.
Boy, if this doesn’t augment your “Mules” post, I don’t know what does. We outnumber them ten thousand to one and they’ll still do it. They are banking on our subservience. I think they might have miscalculated. There’s a streak of Independence that crosses party lines and that would be a bridge too far. I would hope the SC would rule in favor of any challenge to this on an Expedited basis.
Don’t count on any help from them. They looked the other way and whistled when the 2020 election was stolen, remember?
It looks and smells Communist.
Wayne Root said Obama was trained by Communists in the Soviet Union in 1980’s.
I guess that means more drinking nights at the ole tavern and long canoe trips to small islands out and away with best buddies to share fishing and hunting tales are the future. Who knew future proves past?
I agree! Word of mouth – person to person – communication will have to come back. everyone must stop using electronics for (real) communication.
I wrote this poem back on the 10th anniversary of Tiananmen Square – hoping and praying that those arrested for their part in that day on June 4, 1989 were still going –
The situation in Maui is one of people being crushed and made to stay in their homes – if they have one – or face arrest and a $5,000 fine “under the Proclamation” (Hawaii Gov. Josh Green signed on July 17, 2023). There is so much wrong with the picture of what is going on in Maui and it looks like suppression, with the Internet being nonexistent for weeks after the 8-8-23 fires – communication only made possible with Starlink
“The Crushing of Light”
The crushing of light
is really an impossible thing
Light travels too quickly for lies to catch it
It emerges in places unexpected
It fills hearts without notice
It sets free the minds of captors and captives

“Treat everything you do on the internet as if it will be broadcasted on the Jumbotron in Times Square”
Plan accordingly. Look what happened to the old fogey in Utah. Play stupid games, wind stupid prizes. STFU.
What old fogey?
How does this not trigger possee comitatus? What difference does contracting proxies make if the result is the same?
If the military contracted United Nations, European Union or other military contractors to police the American People on American soil or to search their family residences, or to monitor them as a function of conducting invasive or otherwise coercive organized military operations in cooperation with or on behalf of the United States Military against Americans on America soil, how would that be lawful?
Wonder if this would show up as malware to our off the shelf Internet Security software?
This morning, the following notice arrived in my e-box from Microsoft:

This seems like it will also extend the reach of the governments data gathering to a new level. I wouldn’t be worried about what they are telling you, but what they are not. As you all know the obvious here. The DOD is basically building an AI platform to “identify” misinformation to eventually sell commercially to global business with how many backdoors and for what purpose? Those global business will push business who are conglomerates to use these protocols on their systems on down the line until everyone w a smart phone has some form installed without their knowledge. Plus we all know that when the US global wing of the government builds a 100 mill $ company they use it to recycle the taxpayer dollars back into globalist and ccp oriented candidates running for office. I’m not going to pretend to understand the end game of this but it ties in nicely with this article a buddy sent me a while back.

Your article is 100% correct. Bush & Obama joined forces due to egregious abuses of anti-terrorism laws and to attack somebody who could jeopardize those laws with a Constitutional challenge. My Grandfather I never met was James “Argus” Adams who died in WW II. In Dale Adams v. Tyson Foods Inc., et al., Case No 09-3054 [W.D. AR.] I wrote many members of Congress exposing Executive wrongdoing. The U.S. House Oversight Committee appointed a special prosecutor who is investigating the FBI & the Obama administration due to Tyson having over $500 million in federal contracts. Bush/Obama put me under military jurisdiction to conceal those abuses. The special prosecutor is hidden from the public until I get out of military jurisdiction. The US DOD “Argus” AI censoring project is likely for the purpose of scrubbing my name from the media when they try to bury me in military prison. That’s the rest of your story. I’m going to live and I’m going to prevail
All of the employees in this department should be investigated and arrested by the next administration. Talk about an abuse of the US Constitution!
I’m a Sign-Painter by trade, having Apprenticed for 3 yrs. in a Commercial Sign Shop & I was self-employed during the 80’s, when the Computers that Cut the Vinyl Letters 1st started appearing on the Market about the mid 80’s.
Almost every company at the time “jumped on the bandwagon” here in SW Ontario Canada & got a Signmaker IV, which was developed by GM to “Speed-Up production on the Assembly Lines” by cutting vinyl pin-stripes.
I was one of the few, who after some research, decided AGAINST buying one for my shop, although it would have been beneficial to production.
NOW, here’s my own theory as to what we are seeing currently in 2023. Notice all the “Weird Names” that Most Businesses have chosen to call themselves (and your Business Name HAS to be approved by the Local Govt’s). And, most “Employees” are rude to anyone who at 1st doesn’t “kiss their ass” so to speak & then “freak-out” & call their bosses & their bosses are scared to death (because the employee can cry to the Gov’t) of them. Have you ever called Customer Service & got someone in a Foreign Country, who speaks such terrible English that you can’t understand WTF they are saying?
I’m trying to keep this as short as possible, so here’s my theory...IF I was going to “Take-Over the World & make myself King of the World”, then I would use AI to do it & what better way than using the Sign Media to do this. Signs are read all over the World & trust-me, I know quite a bit about the Media, since I have spent most of my life in it.
My 2 cents.
There is no such this as mis information. There is only information. It is up to the consumer to decide.
Otherwise there would be no free press; no NY Tines, Washington Post, Enquirer, etc,
No talking heads. Anything else is censorship.
Wake up sheeple.
Who the Hell is
Asshat Boo Yawn?
Or maybe I shouldn’t have written that…

Won’t drop it here, but it’s out there.
Kinda ironic.
I will add that this place is special. The mules post and this one and others pointed out that communication in plain language about what is happening on the internet, OVER THE INTERNET, will be scrubbed and deleted.
Speaking in plain language about what has happened to “search results” on the internet will get a post removed on any mainstream internet forum.
People used to being able to send a query to an unbiased computer and expecting an unbiased honest result from a machine are delusional. Attempts to warn or educate or cast doubts on those results are scrubbed or censored on the mainstream internet.
Speaking in allegories may make you sound like a conspiracy theorist but might be the only chance to get that message out. AI bots are certainly targeting plain language.
the last paragraph got me.
companies are experiencing significant economic damage caused by the spread of viral disinformation?
as in, no boycotts allowed?
all we have, IMO, is the power of our pocketbook
