Given who Goldberg is and always has been despite his Herculean efforts to hide it, it wasn’t a fair fight.
In a battle of wits and eloquence, backed up by facts and an ability to articulate them clearly, Goldberg came up way short.
The best man won.
And that is that.
What an assbowl! His lips move like a toilet seat flapping out the crap. Yet, they still try to convince you that they are just a honeypot!
Goldberg betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of how the system is supposed to work. Under Goldberg’s view, candicates’ positions on policy are bought, paid for, and determined by their donors. Candidates are for sale, and whomever bids the hightest sets their positions. That may be the reality in big-donor America, but it is not the reality small donors live in.
Small donors live in a reality in which people donate money to the candidates who best express their (small donors’) views. Positions first, THEN donations. That is an upside down world to Goldberg. He doesn’t understand it at all, and interprets it through his candidates-for-sale lens.

I live in an upper middle class neighborhood in the Blue Bay Area and most of these schmucks are very susceptible to being ‘un-personed’. One slip on a banana peel and they are out of not only their job, but their livelihoods. The more licenses, credentials, titles and such that are needed, the more ways you can be taken out. Just being accused can do it. This is particularly true for whites which is why they are so prone to virtue signaling. Biden / Harris lawn signs are their athiestic equivalent of smearing lamb’s blood on their doors. There were many shop owners who put BLM signs up just so they would not get their windows smashed. Even the ones you could privately talk to about reality shit in their pants.
Just from my brief stint in the corporate world I suspect this is even worse in the South where white color jobs are harder to come by. Middle managers and up have a much higher status and standard of living then they would in California. Like working for the Government, the pay scale is better where the living is cheap. The trade off is that there is not the same thriving economy where you can still do ok if you have to land a job or gig at a smaller company or start up.
My point is that all these Rinos are cut from the same cloth.
