I saw this interview surface and just the headline was enough to pique my interest; so, I watched it, and I’m glad I did.
The interview between James O’Keefe and Robert Kennedy Jr is very interesting {Direct Rumble Link Here}. O’Keefe is a good interviewer, with questions that are not ordinarily asked and generates a depth in response not often seen. The interview highlights the perspective of Robert Kennedy Jr as the candidate looks at the total administrative state now assembled in the U.S. government.
I don’t want to lead viewers/readers too much, because the times we are living in require an investment of self in order to evaluate information. However, what RFK Jr says toward the end of the interview, about his ability to win the election is very interesting. The interview is 48 minutes, and it held my interest the entire time.
Quizzically, RFK Jr doesn’t touch on Joe Biden as a political opponent. Kennedy doesn’t mention Biden, nor does he mention the Democrat nomination. Instead, Kennedy jumps immediately to the general election and frames his ability to defeat Donald Trump.
There’s something revelatory about the psyche of a person when asked a question in a comfortable environment and how they respond. I’m not exactly sure what is driving RFK Jr here, but what I can say with some confidence is that he sees the Trump movement as the tribe he can influence.

FYI – I have this weird little glitch in my brain that triggers any time I find myself nodding in agreement. A brain itch that reminds me to stop, hang on a second, pull back and ask myself: is the person constructing the discussion points to purposefully create my agreement. I have found in life when that happens, it is best to go quiet, get small and withdraw – then look for context and evaluate carefully.
RFK Jr is the perfect example of the few intelligent, capable persons inside government whom dedicate themselves to serving the People. It is a lonely existence.

My biggest red flag from the video: “as an environmentalist…”
Michael Savage, a staunch conservative considers himself to be a staunch environmentalist.
RFK Jr did alot of good for the environment. For 1 thing, he saved the Hudson River through his litigation. Before then I remember all those deformed fish they found in that river when they did find fish.
Nothing wrong with protecting the environment. Does anyone think we won’t have another energy source like fusion in the next 15-25 years that will make carbon fuel obsolete? Until we secure a better solution for our energy needs, oil/gas/coal is our best option.
Wanting to protect the environment is entirely different than promoting fake man made climate change.
My dad – a farmer all his life – was a steward of the land. He knew how to raise crops so that the soil was not depleted, he knew about how to conserve water to its best use – something that was critical where I grew up because irrigation was very expensive and so not available to the average hard-scrabble farmer.
He planted trees of all kinds, as much around our home for protection from unrelenting wind and snow in the winter and violent storms in the summer.
He was not an “environmentalist”….he was a steward of the land. I believe that’s the way to living in harmony with our natural environment.
BTW, we were all Republicans – we all still are. That’s another thing my parents taught us: Faith, family, and freedom are everything.

I grew up in an Illinois Republican home where my great Grandfather had met Lincoln and my father’s side had always been staunch Republicans and my mother who was a coal miner’s daughter who were firm Democrats. Both sides fiercely patriotic with both sides fighting in our wars and taking politics seriously. The basic disagreement was always the Republicans were for the rich and the Democrats were for the poor. JFK kind of straddled that with his very conservative outlook that a rising tide lifted all boats. He was a closeted conservative and anti-Communist and I think that is instilled in his nephew. That vibe comes through to me in this interview.
A lot of people tend to forget that the administrative state really got its biggest boost during the Republican presidency of Nixon who gave us the EPA, OSHA, the thousands of environmental and occupational regulations, wage controls, etc and then the big daddy Patriot Act during George W which set us up for the slaughter which we have been enjoying ever since. RFK knows as a lawyer who controls these agencies and what a daunting task it would be to get them under control. What he is lying about is that he would be able to do so. He won’t, but neither will President Trump unfortunately. President Trump can deliver economically where Kennedy can’t and that is the difference for me.

Let me say that I have not followed RFK Jr’s career. In this interview, I like what he says. This was more of a philosophical conversation. He didn’t go into too many details. Yet he knows about the deep state through his litigation and documentary-making experiences. He has ideas to change them. He’s very much into the Constitution and is very well-read. He sounds like a fighter. Since he is a Kennedy, there are positions that I will probably disagree with. Once again I like his overall philosophy coming from this interview.
Democrats of which RFKJr is one, have done and are doing everything we disagree with. I see no reason to accept one of them because of an overall philosophy that means nothing when it comes to governing.

I have listened to RFK, Jr. being interviewed a couple of times. I’ve read a few articles that present his views on a number of subjects. I liked some of what he said, disliked other things, and needed more information about other things.
I am neither a fan nor a detractor of RFK, Jr. Part of me says he can’t be trusted because he is a Democrat. Another part of me agrees with him in certain areas.
That means I am unsure, which goes to the point made by Sundance “…it is best to go quiet, get small and withdraw – then look for context and evaluate carefully.”
I spent almost 30 years of my life working as an auditor and a fraud examiner. I worked for the audit arm of Congress. My work enabled me to see firsthand how federal resources were used by federal, State, and local governmental organizations.
This work also took me to Indian tribes, federal grantees, business organizations (large, medium, and small), social welfare organizations, and schools that received federal funds.
I worked with Congressional staff (both R & D) and was even assigned to work on a major Congressional investigation.
I was not special in any way, shape, or form. I had these experiences only because of the job I had.
With that background, I became a professional skeptic. I saw how the people in these institutions handled federal money and how they handled themselves including seeing how Congressional sausage was made.
Trust but verify became my informal motto. Why? Because people said all kinds of things, but the underlying records often said something entirely different.
Where Senators, House Members, Committee Staff, and Senate and House staff were concerned pretty much everything was political to one degree or another. It didn’t make any difference what letter they had after their names.
So, to get back to RFK, Jr. while I’ve liked some of what I’m hearing and reading, I still have some serious reservations.
The fact is, I don’t trust the Uni-Party or any of its members, staff, etc.

Something avoided was the ‘enviromentalists’ that have cloked part time jobs being forest arsonists, polluters, (un)peaceful protestors, unresourceful in reserving natural water drainage (mountain snow melts), or clogging up the oil drilling permits, or cover up of the gold mine spill into drainage way in Co. etc

In this video he says a surprising number of things that are true, but he also wipes his nose with his hand a lot, especially toward the end.

Don’t know who to reply to in this discussion. All I know is that I am glad to have watched this interview. Lots of prior history of our country. Don’t know what my heartstrings resonated the most with. But when music started playing in the background intermittently throughout the interview, I felt that was what intended (or not).
I lost a sister in 1968 in a car accident. She was wearing a black arm band on her arm which I learned later symbolized she had been to a protest. She was the first Democrat (who had no shame about it) in our larger extended family.
It took years for my family and I to comes to terms with the life she led fighting for voting rights etc. Just can’t imagine what it would have been like it had been my Father instead.

As far as I’m concerned,RFK JR,Ron Paul,and Trump have enlightened the public to just how bad our current state of affairs are in our country.
I consider them the top 3 individuals of enlightenment in my life currently.
Kennedy is unsurpassed on the two issues that matter the most to me, medical freedom and government tyranny. For example, he is the only national politician talking about the disaster of the COVID vaccines and has long challenged the disaster of the childhood vaccines. On government tyranny, he knows that the CIA was responsible for killing both his uncle and his father. I am an avid Trump supporter, but Trump has three major problems that Trump supporters need to be realistic about: (1) Trump was responsible for opening Pandora’s box and unleashing the disastrous and tyrannical government response to COVID-19 which resulted in more than half the population being injected with a poisonous time-bomb experimental drug causing unprecedented excess death and disability—and Trump still will not acknowledge that the COVID vaccines were bad. You can say he was fooled by Fauci and company, but that is not good enough an excuse; (2) as unfair and irrational as it is, the wall-to-wall anti-Trump propaganda and government led attacks on him has an effect on the margins that will make the 2024 election uncomfortably close even though the Democrats are likely to put up an authoritarian anti-America candidate; (3) the election system in the swing states is still rigged and under the control of the authoritarians.
So how does RFK running as an independent ameliorate any one of those three problems? It doesn’t! He just makes things worse, which is exactly his intent!
