Speaking in South Carolina today, presidential candidate Ron DeSantis blamed President Trump for the events of January 6, 2021, in Washington DC saying, “I think it was shown how he was in the White House and didn’t do anything while things were going on. Should he have come out more forcefully? Of course.” However, DeSantis affirmed he does not believe Trump’s transgressions amounted to criminal conduct. “But to try to criminalize that, that’s a different issue entirely,” the Florida governor noted.
Governor DeSantis then tacked to his preferred position that politicians should not be criminally targeted and promised if he was elected, he would do a more reach-across-the-decorum, saying “I think that we want to be in a situation where you don’t have one side just constantly trying to put the other side in jail.”
DeSantis pledging to return civility to the Dept of Justice comes on the same day the DOJ is about to deploy yet another indictment against the political opposition of the current administration. I’m not sure the civility DeSantis requires would be afforded by the institutions DeSantis supports. WATCH:

If you were unjustly removed from a position that you were elected to, and supporters came from everywhere to support you, what would you do? Same as Trump – thank them, and ask them to be peaceful, knowing these good people support honesty and integrity in the election process.

Where has Ron DeSanctimonious been for the last 50 years? It didn’t start with Richard Nixon but that was the moment in history that they made their intentions clear: All-Out-War on the GOP and any American that supports them. Remember the infamous, famously scurrilous “Nixon’s Southern Strategy” wherein Nixon’s forays into the, at that time, ‘Solid South’ wherein not a SINGLE Southern State had a Republican member of Congress and NO Republican had won a state-wide election since the end of The War Between the States? Apparently it was perfectly fine for Democrats to campaign for votes from racist Southern Whites for for a Republican to do so was clear and convincing evidence of that Republican’s rabid racism.
Their war on Nixon was, in reality, not all that different from their War on Donald J. Trump. In reality, it was neither Nixon nor Trump that was the target of this treacherous lot; It’s those that have the temerity to express support for ANY Conservative GOP candidate and to actually show up at the polls and vote for such.
The Democrats’ Hatred of America, The Constitution and all who love the notion of limited government has only intensified and become more concentrated and focused since the end of WWII.
