President Trump endorsed Daniel Cameron in the Republican primary for the Kentucky governor’s race. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Ted Cruz, Mike Pompeo and Vivek Ramaswamy endorsed candidate Kelly Craft. Cameron won, Craft came in third.
Kelly Craft is a big donor to the establishment Republican Party, hence all of the major donor-fueled Republican candidates supported her.
Mrs. Craft outspent her opponents more than 10:1 spending more than $8.1 million, while the MAGA candidate Daniel Cameron spent just over $771 thousand and had the full support of President Donald Trump.
Does this sound like a familiar pattern? Now, watch what happens as Mitch McConnell will turn loose the GOPe DeceptiCon hounds to support the Democrat incumbent – simply to retain the Republican trough.
The battle inside the Republican Party will be on full display once again in Kentucky. Watch.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron has won the state’s Republican gubernatorial primary and will face incumbent Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear in the November general election.
Cameron, a rising star in the party, came out on top in a crowded field of 12 Republican candidates that included former U.N. Ambassador Kelly Craft and Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles.
His campaign had the backing of former President Donald Trump in a contentious race that served as a proxy fight between the Republican presidential front-runner and a number of other Republican heavyweights, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who both backed Craft.
Craft also had the high-profile endorsements of Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., while Quarles had the commanding support of Kentucky farmers.
Cameron will now face what is expected to be a tough fight against Beshear, who polls say is one of the most popular governors in the country despite being one of the nation’s few Democrat governors of a red state. (read more)
Daniel Cameron noted thanks to President Trump and the MAGA coalition, and threw a jab at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis by noting the Trump culture of winning is alive and well in the great state of Kentucky. WATCH (prompted):
I am here in KY and hearing that Daniel Cameron is tied at the hip to Mitch McConnell. Is he in the family? He was very disappointing in the fight against Gov. Beshear during the Covid19 BS. I am not quite convinced that Daniel Cameron is MAGA. I hope so. I am waiting to find out.
The heavyweights ain’t so heavy if all they got is money for weight. lol …something about the love of money…

There were approximately 110,000 more votes Republican than Democrat. If this was a high voter turn-out primary, explain how Beshears wins in November. I understand not all who voted for somebody else in the Republican primary are going to vote, perhaps, for Cameron, but still a steep hill to climb for Beshears.
It’s up to Cameron to unite the state. He should get some of the black vote. He should get most of the GOP vote.
Or we can sit home and say “but Mitch” and have 4 more years of a very liberal governor in a Red State.
Promises made, promises kept, trust cultivated, common sense validated.
All the marketing, polling, media control in the world cannot stop the overwhelming evidence that We the People don’t like the powers that be. Uniparty, WEF
We see them. We need to start confronting them in their contradictions, their hypocrisy, their lack of true benevolent concern for what is best for the local, national, and world communities.
They don’t like it. With every defeat, we draw them out of their nasty liars, and they must expose their swampy, slimy, selfish, greedy, selves
Let’s get the truth out before Andy and Mitch spread the lie: Breonna Taylor was a former EMT who lost her job for supplying her boyfriend with prescription drugs. She was around the drug scene, and while tragically killed by mistake, she was not the innocent bystander the press portrayed her to be. Of course, the articles outlining her personnel records and why she did not actually hold an EMT license have been dutifully scrubbed from search engines, as have her calls to a drug-dealing inmate.
Nevertheless, expect the media to portray Cameron as an Uncle Tom who sanctioned police hunting of innocent brown people.
Governor. Daniel. Cameron.
Say his name RNC!
Didn’t the last GOP candidate shockingly lose despite Republicans winning every other statewide office by wide margins?
Vote fraud…I could smell it from Kentucky to Minnesota
Imo, that was Dominions first big win.
https://www.ag.ky.gov/about/Pages/Attorney-General.aspx
When ever someone on the left accuses Cameron of being a ‘token’, ask them what happened the last time a black democrat ran for the governorship of Kentucky.
Oh that’s right, they haven’t nominated one.
Last year the MNGOP had the opportunity to nominate the articulate black christian Kendall Qualls for governor… instead they pretended to give us an Anti-Fauchi Dr. Scott Jensen… there has been vote fraud at MNGOP conventions for years
Stop calling black people articulate. White candidates never get that moniker so why label Blacks with it? It’s demeaning.
Actually it’s a compliment since it means they’ve thrown off the black mentality that you can’t speak understandable speech if you want to be black.
Blacks get ridiculed for “talking white”.
Maybe they do by other Blacks but sure is nice to understand what they are saying.
Only by inarticulate blacks who think “ghetto speech” is a hallmark of being “black”, and that it’s cool.
articulation is cultural appropriation.
ain’t it great?
That’s funny, because of all the black people I know as friends and colleagues, none have that mentality.
We are so given to group generalizations and caricatures, much of it driven by popular media. I note that many of the young, college age people I run into are notably less “articulate” than when I was in college; skin color has nothing to do with it. But the next college student I deal with is judged on the merits of what he/she brings to the table, not any generalizations I might have formed.
We’ll never escape the umbrella of bigotry that forms behind group generalizations until we can hold our assumptions for each new person until they’ve proven themselves, one way or the other. As a Christian, I know the fallacy of making unrighteous judgements. Only God can judge fairly like that. The rest of us? Hold your opinions until you get to know the person.
Tell that to Joe Biden….who used it to describe Obama, along with being “clean”
Not only that, but Obama WAS THE FIRST clean and articulate candidate to come along.
According to Biden, every black candidate prior to Obama was dirty and stupid.
“Eloquent” is the preferred word. “Articulate” is just too white.
“Eloquent” sounds too pretty to me. If given the choice, I’d prefer to be thought clear, concise, and straight-forward.
I had enough of that “eloquent” BS with the first 0bama administrations.
I prefer the wholesome truth of sunlight burning the #SWAMP and reducing the shadow of corruption that follows honest revelation.
With the D Senators from California and Pennsylvania, articulate-ness can no longer be assumed.
Would you like to speak to the manager, Karen?
So sick and tired of people thinking they can tell someone else what they can and cannot say.
Its called FREE SPEECH, Karen. You should check it out sometime instead of trying to censor people.
but we are still allowed to call such as biden and harris inarticulate.
Hope he wins the General but do not count on it. The Uniparty will make sure he does not because he for now a Trump guy. If he flips to Rino he might have a shot? Will see.
My final comment on this race is the Kentucky legislature wants and needs a governor who will uphold and promote the conservative values in Kentucky. As Attorney General in Kentucky, Cameron has proven he’s the one for the job. Beshears fights against the legislature
If necessary, I will crawl over broken glass in November to vote against our wimpy, benevolent wannabe dictator Beshear
I will bring the gauze bandages.
The lefties will be so triggered.
Pray tell, what is new about that?
These people are {trained – professional – created for – ideologically bound] to be victims and look for offenses against anything they can think of to use for their cause.
Play their game, have fun, and love, live, laugh with them, at them, and for them. Ridicule is a great method that has worked for millennia and that is why they use it against moral people. But the people should only be able to be shamed for what they have personally been responsible for, which is mostly impossible as slavery and so many “Triggers” ended before all our lifetimes (in the USA aside from the alphabet agencies trafficking we have to end) and theirs.
Both sides will cheat to get Beshear re-elected
Our Kentucky Legislature is veto proof. The dictator want to be is over ridden again and again. Our Legislature has saved us from the Governors tyranny over and over again.
I’m unclear as to how a Democrat was elected Govunator in the 1st place ? What gives with that ?
Election fraud
Cheating……
Daddy was a governor
Um, our Republican legislators are one of the most corrupt in the whole country. We’ve been screwed over time and time again.
SB64 is just one of many bad bills introduced last session.
I didn’t vote for any of the top 3. I can’t help think Cameron is just another McConnell stooge selected to lose the general in Nov.
And no, I didn’t vote for that idiot Deters.
Please be prepared cause the “cheat” machines are alive and well in Kentucky…..I can’t think of any other way McConnell won in Kentucky or Beshear for that matter.
The Kentucky legislature includes a super majority in both houses. They don’t really need a governor to pass conservative legislation. This is one reason that D Beshear has been popular (other than simply name recognition). He signs moderate legislation into law because it will be overridden anyway and he looks good to the red state voters. The other legislation he vetoed gets passed anyway and the economy in Kentucky seems on the upswing. This includes major projects attributable to the Trump presidency and the lowering of income taxes by the GOP legislature.
Wow. If you look at the campaign filings you will see that Craft spent a ridiculous amount of money on this campaign. And still lost! That is insane. The woman came in 3rd place. Hopefully, Daniel will give us a big victory in November.
Thats how you know these political parties and elections are rackets. Think of all the consultants and vendors that feed on the graft. They have to get their cut! If the system wasnt rigged against third parties, the GOP would be dead.
This is a very important political fact. It is the reason we will have to do much better on behalf of President Trump until we try to elect him in November of next year. Overcoming either of the two entrenched Parties is always the biggest hurdle to jump over. It is the reason Trump chooses to run as a Republican. No third Party can win the Presidency without at least winning at least 180 electoral votes. The probable number would be much higher than 180, since the two major Parties would have to evenly split the remaining 44 States and the DC Swamp.
Speaks volumes of Meatball and company! Just love that pic in the window!
Is he Ulta MAGA on the issues?
If so then all else is flak at this point.
In 2021, McConnell who is expected to step down before the end his term, worked with the state legislature on a rule change to allow a republican to be appointed to fill his Senate seat. McConnell reportedly wanted then AG Cameron to be his replacement.
But Camern is apparently the best option for MAGA given the other candidates, so i’m glad he won. Cameron strikes me as a climber though.
https://newsone.com/4101311/mitch-mcconnell-daniel-cameron-kentucky-senate-seat/
https://news.yahoo.com/mcconnell-seeks-rule-change-ensure-174346899.html
Thanks for your input. I know nothing about Kentucky politics, but I did read his bio, and your description of him being a “climber” struck me as well.
Divorced after 1 year of marriage? That was a red flag to me.
Hope he is reliably Ultra MAGA …
Maybe his ex filed after he paid off her student loans?
Been happening more and more that a marriage is the length of a few “studies” degrees loan repayments.
Also, TRUMP has been married more than once (what is it, three?) and yet they all speak well of him and his children seem to be exemplary children, especially in comparison to so many of his peers.
TRUMP’s children, are to me, a good example of his character. As are his wife, and ex wives, who still speak well of him and never attacked him that I was aware of.
I was not a fan of TRUMP as I stopped watching TV decades ago and never saw him on any shows, but an app3earance or more on some movies. I had low expectations as he was married and I saw that as a BIG RED FLAG coming from a broken family by a whore dog of a father more interested in his personal pleasures than his family which ended in divorce. I saw TRUMP much like that, as those were the lenses I wore.
So when TRUMP came down the elevator I was thinking between Paul and Cruz and I wasn’t sure of them either, but I had my personal life tinted glasses working against me as well. BUT I chose TRUMP after looking into the rest and he was the only one who stood the test of time, over 30 years stating the exact same thing he was still speaking, while all the others fell with mere lip service as they enriched themselves at our, and ultimately the country and our children’s, expense and futures.
I clearly do not agree with everything he does, says, or acts upon. And I say Thank God as I would not want to be in charge as I am too much a hammer and all I see are nails that look like treason, but they do commit treason daily if you upon your eyes and see every time they break their oath of office and work against the constitution they swore that oath to.
Sorry for the rant.
You may be right, or wrong, or somewhere in between, but we are to live in the secular world as we travel our path with God and we can only trust God and hope for the best from our fellow sinning man. (For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.)
You can always look to see what he is like, which is why I say every person should be meeting and speaking with the people running to represent you.
I usually disregard anything coming from fake news.
Until fake news becomes the kiss of death for well over 50% of our population, disregarding what they do would be like ignoring the plans of your enemy. It is not any fun to read or watch that crap, but we will have to know the strategy of our enemy, in order to defeat them.
I have many smart, successful conservative friends who think Tim Scott or DeSantis will be the nominee in 24. They are so unaware of the resentment and frustration of those 70 million plus Trump voters that is simmering just under the surface. I wish I could lead them to this site, but they are too smart to read a blog. CTH saved my family from the Vax scam by outing Fauci as a Hillary fan boy. It’s also funny to see Durham come out with this big “blockbuster report” when those of us at CTH knew this stuff in real time years ago.
Ditto… found this site in 2014 and never looked back
If you email these people all the info that Sundance furnishes us with that may help! I email articles to insure anyone who may be leaning RDS to read and then decide.
Agree. I started out slow and sporadic sending CTH links. After several years, those friends are sending me CTH links…………….
It’s a good feeling. I kinda get how the 12 Apostels felt spreading the word………..
They may be smart, intelligent, and even educated or indoctrinated, but they sound very foolish to me.
Help them to see and understand the truth so that they too may become more wise in their choices that effect US all. Our fellow citizens affect us, as we affect them, with our choices of representatives.
[edit here – addendum] Maybe asking HOW did we get here? or some other question to get them to start questioning just how effective and in what purpose of affect did their representatives have and produce that was what they wanted vs what we got.
Hopefully Cameron beats beshar by a healthy margin. Then the turtle can retire and be replaced with a real MAGA senator.
I’m believing that he lost the last election but had a late “fix” in the count to get him the winner! Mitch the Bitch, one of the Mcs that gotta go!
The Establishment and leftist have a dilemma on their hands it appears. The fake news was even promoting the nasty exchanges between Cameron and Kraft as a wedge, which I am sure Turtle pushed. Did not matter. Cameron knows where the bones of stolen elections lie. Going to be amusing to watch. Cameron will win the governorship. The “polls” are garbage. The voting public in KY is seething with anger, especially as more COVID truths are revealed and the economy continues to crater.
Even so, it sure seems that most of the politicians Trump pulls over the finish line stab him in the back sooner than later.
“Mitch the Bitch” gotta go!
I love that Trump is building an army of politicians who owe him for endorsing them. I just wonder how many of them will stab him in the back though?
Anyway, I do like this guy. Frankly, the GOPe is incredibly foolish for not endorsing these great black conservatives. Our next NC governor will be Mark Robinson, who is a super star, IMO. Which means that the GOP leadership pretty much ignores him. You can be assured that Trump will support him though. He already has.
Love when Lt G Robinson (soon to be Gov Robinson) gives one of his unapologetic speeches – gives me chills!
I view all of them with a jaundiced eye. I’m old enough to remember when Marco Rubio was a young superstar. Seems many of them are until they get to Washington. Funny how that happens.
My next governor as well. I worry though–Nonentity Cooper got into office in 2016 by cheating.
They better not cheat in 2024.
I think any Senate candidate can easily stab him in the back – as they will last longer in office.
He needs to get a couple on the public record to state that they will give him the ability to make recess appointments.
That was the craziest thing ever. Not one would step up.
We saw this same scenario in our Illinois Governor Republican primary race. The big, big money went to a “former Democrat”, Richard Irvin. The Republican base ripped him to shreds and he came in a distant 3rd in the primary.
When it came to the General election, Darren Bailey, the Republican voters choice receive no money and zero help from the Illinois Republican Party. The party apparatus left Bailey out to hang and they let Pritzker waltz right back in without a real fight.
The establishment Republicans stink!
Taking over the state parties is critical.
Hope KY has strengthened their election integrity laws. Form what I read the current governor first “won” a very close race.
Same here in NC. I’ve commented on this before; D guvner Roy Cooper won by less than 10k votes while the elections supervisor of Durham County (heavily democrat) fought and complained mightily about having to recount almost 95k votes. 2024 elections will be most interesting in KY, NC, and other mixed-party/mostly-red states.
Durham County brought in enough after hours votes to push Cooper over the line and McCrory conceded!
Finally, some good news.
What has Cameron said or done that convincingly makes him MAGA?
Cameron sued the Biden Regime over the vax mandate
Cameron sued the Biden Regime over the cancelling of Title 42
Cameron sued CVS over the opioid epidemic in KY
Cameron sued Beshears because Beshears closed down schools and there was no in-person classes
Cameron WAS sued because Cameron was looking into banks using ESG data to make financial decisions
Sounds MAGA to me
I’ve been telling everybody Pompeo was garbage for some time now.
It’s ALWAYS the MESSAGE, not the money spent.
Kentucky needs to move beyond a Democrat regardless.
McConnell will do anything to defeat conservative Cameron … Cameron’s #1 strength – zero RINO Establishment support … HEY !!! … WORTHLESS RNC !!! … what are you doing to protect your Republican Candidate from another big RINORAT cheat ?!?!!
I think McConnell will give Cameron tepid support . As much as we dislike him he has done the right thing at times. We will see.
What McConnell says and what he does are two different things. He will pay MAGA lip service while operating in the shadows to see to it that anyone who Trump supports loses.
Don’t want to pretend. While Cameron appears to be better than the alternatives, Cameron has disturbing ties to McConnell.
(1) Daniel Cameron —- a former aide to Mitch McConnell
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/daniel-cameron-wins-republican-primary-kentucky-governor/
(2) McConnell reportedly wanted Cameron (named in news stories as McConnell’s “protege”) to be the one to fill McConnell’s Senate seat when he retires. In 2021, McConnell worked with the state legislature to make a rule change to allow a republican (expected to be Camern) to be appointed when McConnell exits. There are lots of news reports on this, here’s one:
(2021 ) “Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky is reportedly plotting his exit from politics, and he has reportedly named his protégé, state Attorney General Daniel Cameron, as his top replacement.”
https://news.yahoo.com/mcconnell-seeks-rule-change-ensure-174346899.html
I think Cameron was chosen by McConnell if memory serves . I believe he was a McConnell scholar at the university of Louisville.
Was that Ron DeSantis peaking in the window behind Trump? LOL
“Now, watch what happens as Mitch McConnell will turn loose the GOPe DeceptiCon hounds to support the Democrat incumbent” Just like he did to Matt Beven in last Gov. election — resulted in Democrat governor who raised KY taxes. Nice going Mitch (Not)!
Why did Stephen L. Knipper not win the SOS primary??
*
Ky. maga voters need to flood louavul and lexington with mail in votes for A.G. Cameron
So many comments about how Cameron appears to be MAGA but could in fact to be a plant, and/or how Craft IS a plant.
But virtual silence on the other four candidates who participated in the debates (Deters, Harmon, Keck, and Quarles). Where do they stand?
The less said about Deters the better. Guy is nuts.
1) In what sense is he nuts? This is coming from a Floridian, so I have no clue.
2) What about Harmon, Keck, and Quarles?
I don’t think Mitch McConnell is doing much of anything these days except making puddles.
From the looks of it in that video the other day, the marble floor won.
the wall street repubicons are going to be mad and spite the sweaty wal-mart voters in the general.
Going to be very interesting to see what Turkey Neck does to try and destroy Cameron. Trump is going to have to do some major rallies in Kentucky to get the base fired up. The next rally Trump does he should ask MEATBALL if he is going to support Cameron.
Did anyone notice Andy Beshear as governor presenting the trophy to the Kentucky Derby winner?
it was embarrassing. It sounded like a political infomercial before congradulating the winner.
It should have only been about the derby and the winner.
After the presentation, I thought he must be up for election again for governor.
Yeah, I hear he made the cover of Metrosexual Monthly again.
When DeSanctimonious endorsed Casey she was polling in second place. Afterwards, she came in 3rd. 😆. Thanks Ron.
DeSimps hit the hardest by Meatball’s culture of losing efforts last night.
Geez, he’s a Republican, won’t the Republican trough still flow, if he runs!
Can a sitting Governor REMOVE a sitting Senator? Asking for our nation
FLA Media is crowing about a Woman Democrat winning the Jacksonville Mayoral race. Didn’t even know it was happening.
Mitch might not have won in 2020 except Trump gave him an endorsement.
Turtle and the rest will publicly support, and do everything to undermine behind the scenes.
One bit of “NEWS” that seems to be overlooked in FLORIDA. Seems deSantis is TOO BUSY doing something other than Politicking IN FLORIDA …… but Not to Worry he got the law changed so he can run for President while neglecting Repubs in Florida, namely Jacksonville.
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/elections/democrat-donna-deegan-flips-jacksonville-mayors-office-major-upset-rcna84791
Do I detect an excellent VP choice for Trump if he loses? Just saying .
I would have hoped Vivek would have tried to stay away from tricky endorsement pressures from RINOs. I thought he had more common sense. He could get made to look foolish like Cruz Pompeo desantis and comer did this time by lending support to the rich lady who spent $millions trying to beat Cameron. I think Vivek should have stayed out of this one, especially after trump had already endorsed Cameron. I wish Vivek and the others would let trump handle the GOP endorsements and support trump’s endorsements.
The libs in Louisville have clamored for years how their is no black representation in state and fed offices. Sad part is they had a chance to nominate two black women for mayor and congressional seat but instead failed to support either one. The daily rag started last week chastising the Repub contenders so gloves are already off. Looking forward to watching the hypocrites cry when the AG wins.
How long before Republican candidates start begging DeSantis to stay away?
You defeat Breshear the same way Youngkin defeated McAuliffe in Virginia!!! These searing hot button issues such as all the wokeness and sexual deviancy that our children are being assaulted with every day!!! 🤔
Damn the Rinopedos! Full MAGA ahead!
