As Florida Governor Ron DeSantis finishes up his long-scheduled foreign policy tour, he finishes the trip on a down note in London, England. Apparently, the political and business leaders were unimpressed by the diminutive stature of the Top-Gov and had lots of uncomplimentary things to say about him.
Meanwhile, on the domestic front, the most recent Trump -vs- DeSantis poll shows another slip for the DeSantis brand managers, despite the considerable lifts they put in his shoes to assist the optics. President Trump now leads Ron DeSantis 62% to 16% in polling, a 46-point advantage {link}.
Governor DeSantis is scheduled to arrive back in Florida this week as the consultants organize bill signing ceremonies for legislation completed during his absence. The bills will include a change to the Florida election laws permitting Ron to start officially campaigning for president instead of pretending not to run. The ‘official’ announcement, which appears to have been planned for several years, is scheduled for mid-May next month.
LONDON — He hopes to win the hearts and minds of devoted Donald Trump supporters ahead of next year’s U.S. election.
But Republican presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis failed to impress British business chiefs at a high-profile London event Friday, in a tired performance described variously as “horrendous,” “low-wattage” and “like the end of an overseas trip.”
The Florida governor, expected to launch his bid next month to challenge Trump as the Republican nominee for the 2024 presidential race, met with more than 50 representatives of major U.K. firms and business lobbying groups as a part of a four-country “trade mission” ending in London Friday.
For several of those present, however, the statesmanship was lacking.
One U.K. business figure said DeSantis “looked bored” and “stared at his feet” as he met with titans of British industry in an event co-hosted by Lloyd’s of London — the world’s largest insurance marketplace.
“He had been to five different countries in five days and he definitely looked spent, but his message wasn’t presidential,” they told POLITICO. “He was horrendous.”
A second business figure who was in the room said it was a “low-wattage” performance and that “nobody in the room was left thinking, ‘this man’s going places’.”
They said: “It felt really a bit like we were watching a state-level politician. I wouldn’t be surprised if [people in attendance] came out thinking ‘that’s not the guy’.” “There wasn’t any stardust.” (Read More)
Please clap…

Let’s hope he doesn’t screw up Florida 2024 in the process.
The hate speech law he signed in Israel is horrendous because it violates Constitutional protections of free speech. There is no such thing as “hate speech”. Even if something is offensive to some people, it is still free speech.
Ronnie does not believe in the Constitution. It is apparent in every move he makes. Take, for example, his 2/28 book signing in Leesburg where he has his security remove and call the cops on then seniors quietly stnading around dressed in Trump gear. Can we say First and Fourth Amendments? He doesn’t have the Courage to Recognize Freedom, let alone live it.
Gov DeSantis is guided by the US Constitution and the Florida Constitution. He does nothing outside of either of the documents. If you can’t back up the claim, don’t write it. I have read what the Powers of the Florida Governor are. Have you???
DeSantis has been running for President since the middle of 2021 and lying about it. Wink. Wink. But to you that is fine because DeSantis is UniParty.
Of course AMERICANS have read it! Who are you fooling? Not any of us!!! And neither is Ronnie and his “club” demons. We see what’s happening!
If you’ve read Florida Constitution, then you know what his executive powers are, and can’t criticize his improvement of our Florida elections. But, those of you who criticize the purges and changes to mail in ballots seem to be of the Dem ilk.
You forgot to mention his newly minted law regarding free speech. What gives?
Is the punishment for slandering a politician, or CRT and DEI courses, gender identity and sexual education your complaint? Any of them, pick one or all. Again, there’s a difference between free speech and indoctrination, including sexual indoctrination know as grooming. Sounds like you have the many problems the left complains of.
You are dreaming. DeSantis actions speak louder than your words. He has squandered any respect he had prior to being bought & used to attack Trump. The more I see of him the more I realize he is a poser; his actions are choreographed to fool people into seeing him as principled. We have been fooled by many other RINO but not this time.
You don’t live here. I care not to read opinions but weigh his actions using the US and the Florida Constitution as his foundation for his actions. DeSantis has pretty much remained silent on Trump. Why? Look at your conjecture! He’s an ethical
man, and doesn’t resort to mud slinging. DeSantis will not kiss the Trump ring, in perpetuity. He lived up to and surpassed everyone’s expectations, even Trump’s.
I think that he is guided by the u.s. dollar, soon to be the Chinese yuan.
Concerning the medical issue,
So ronnie and crew fixed the ‘ law’s which allows the state to forcibly and involuntarily inject whoever, with whatever in the name of ‘ public health’ ?
Yes
You know nothing of his actions. Tell me what DeSantis’s first 2 actions were, after being elected as a congressman. It blows your baseless claim out of the water. China? He’s passing laws so they may not buy property in our state. Pfft, you lie
Very “lawyery” of you, but running without officially announcing it, is still running. IIRC unconstitutional as I type in Florida.
The truth is DeSantis has been a good Governor. The problem is, with regard to his presidential run, he is backed by all of the same neoclowns and their money men who have been responsible for the disastrous policies that have brought us to ruin. He was just in Israel to kiss up to some of them.
DeSantis is beholding to the same foreign elite who are in power now. You can point out that Trump was as well. I have a hope that Trump has learned from his experience. I have a hope that he will cast off the neoclowns whom he gave power to during his time in office. I have no such hope for DeSantis.
Ron appears to have been bought out to run against President Trump, the overwhelming favorite amongst MAGA Republicans, by the same elite who have put us into endless wars these last 70 years. He does not care that the people want Trump as President, and his backers are paying him lots of money, not to care. He is disloyal to the man who helped him become Governor.
Trump has been hounded and bedeviled by the left and the elites and Ron has decided to join the game.
Ron may continue to do wonderful things as Governor of Florida and he should stay in Florida for his full term and support Trump. Instead, his character is what is now under attack and he is ruining his own brand.
The lies and backstabbing have already ruined his brand. He cannot be trusted -period.
Can you name the disgusting RINO traitors who are lavishing DeSantis with millions and millions of dollars. And the money laundering book tour to boot??? DeSantis would rule America like a more articulate Biden and continue the controlled globalist demolition of America.
Next he’ll be having children dressed as Secret Service agents, suits, sunglasses, grim faces and all guarding him from danger—just like the foul putrid crook of a president Biden just did.
DeSantis reminds me of that guy running for president (I think it was Martin Sheen in that role) in the movie The Dead Zone. I just get a real bad vibe from him.
I first saw that “vibe” you mention at a televised White House event (spring or summer of 2020) dealing with Covid in which DeSantis was generously invited by President Trump to come describe his “successful” Covid approach in FLA.
There were several guests seated on couches, media cameras etc, and DeSantis and Trump were sitting on armchairs side by side. Of course, President Trump was hosting and led the discussion, but through out the 30 or 40 minutes of discussion, DeSantis never (not once!) made eye contact with Trump in spite of sitting right next to him, not to mention the obvious display of ingratitude for the opportunity to toot his own horn at a presidential event.
Even at moments when the President spoke, DeSantis only looked in the direction of cameras, and as DeSantis spoke he never turned to face Trump, his host and benefactor.
That told me something was very wrong inside Ron’s psyche. It had been, I believe, DeSantis’ first visit to the White House after he had been elected governor ON THE STRENGTH OF SEVERAL TRUMP RALLIES AS WELL AS THE PRESIDENT’S VIGOROUS ENDORSEMENT.
As I watched that White House event, I thought back to a particular rally in FLA when Ron and Casey were brought on stage prior to DeSantis’ election, and Trump, trying to be both jocular and flattering, told the audience (in Trumpian candor) that he had once ‘suggested to Ron that maybe he should lose some weight, but that he (Trump) discovered that Ron was really just solid muscle, ha ha, etc.!
DeSantis didn’t say a single word; didn’t crack a smile in front of millions watching. It was, of course, awkward in the extreme. But who could forget that?
Long story short: not making eye contact on camera with his friend, the President of the United States, who had paved the way for him to the governor’s mansion, made me wonder, ‘is DeSantis still p.o.’d about the wisecrack about his weight?
The fact is that DeSantis is as inscrutable as Trump is candid. In my experience, inscrutable people have always proven to be dangerous.
He voted to end Social Security and Medicare 3 times, sounds like he hates senior citizens…
Hate speech is a useful tool for normalizing the idea of thought crime though.
Started with Hate crime then hate speech, then thought crime.
“Pre-crimes unit” here we come.
The foundation of “hate crimes” specifically has to do with punishing thought crimes. The criminal is not charged only with what he did. He’s charged with the crime of what he was thinking when he committed the crime.
Of course, they had to invent categorize thinking as a crime, so they could charge it.
No matter what an individual does, no matter how pure, as soon as he is to be charged and they can’t find something–they will take what he is known for, define it as a crime….and there ya go. No different than what they did with the category of hate crimes–decades go.
Free speech is SPECIFI ALLY for offensive speech.
Innoffensive to anyone speech, needs no protection.
The Marxists goons Antifa, BLM, spew their hate speech non-stop. Who arrests them?!!? This new Florida law is not for them. It is for US.
Like gun control laws are for us, not the criminals.
When will we throw off these chains
just for fun (&!its and giggles) “innoffensive-to-anyone speech.”
Agree!
He will screw Trump with his election laws he just passed and cheating machines he never got rid of.
You know him well.
Neither of you live in Florida, do you?
Neither is backed by Ken Griffin either. The point? Are you saying the only reason one would think little of DeSoros is live outside Florida? Amusing. Wonder why he was getting beat by a full blown loony criminal prior to Trump wading into his initial gubernatorial election?
I presume you know everything thereafter has been scripted by Rove or someone similar.
Ken Griffin is backing DeSantis.

That is a moot point in this stage of Ronda’s sell-out to the people of Florida!
He is vying for U.S. presidential status which affects ALL Americans.
Your and his gaslighting is not working.
Do you?.
Don’t you want keep him as Governor for the term he was reelected, thanks to the help of the person he is now betraying?
That is an irrelevant observation.
I do! And I voted for him twice! He’s had a solid 5+ years to have remdied the unconstitutional red flag laws in the Marjory Stoneman Douglass School Safety Scam…er I mean Act HB7026/4911 and HASN’T!
He’s had the same amout of time and two special sessions to stop the graft and collusion in our states insurance debacle and HASN’T.
He didn’t attempt any real election reform, rebuking a strong grass roots effort at exposing the fraud right here in Florida.
He’s pressured our RINO legislature to ‘obamaesquely’ modernize Florida’s ‘resign to run law’ as well as our right to information on public officials’ travel and expenses.
I can go on with what he HASN’T done for the people of Florida but you seem to want to stand by this poser. We’ll offer up some kleenex and say ‘I told you so’ when the time comes.

Lately, Governor DisHonest doesn’t live in Florida either…
Its not JUST the machines.
There are at least 65 things that a State has to have, to establish election integrity.
Granted, no machines is one of them but its not the whole b.o.w.
No mail in ballots, no extended voting period, no machines. One day to vote and count the votes.
the same day – like it was done in the past.
We don’t have Dominion voting machines. You should look up what states don’t use them. My Election Supervisor responded to all of my questions before the 2022 election. Ron Turner was forthright, and I was satisfied with his responses to my questions.
I can visually confirm, the voter rolls are not purged and we use the dominion tabulators with konnech software installed in the Fl panhandle.
Away with your blatant ignorance
See Dutchman above.
Your satisfaction to your questions is also irrelevant because we don’t know what they were and what answers you did receive.
He has every intention of it.
Check out the new “election integrity” law he has put forth. Mandantes machines, criminalizes hand count or challenging the results. Sounds Deep State. OH, snap.. he is.
I read it, and it’s great. Voter rolls will be purged on a regular basis. Ballot harvesting is now a 3rd degree felony instead of a first degree misdemeanor. You make up whatever you want, because you trust the sheeple here won’t bother to read the bill, just as you didn’t read the bill.
Uh..freedoms of speech?
Are machine mandated?
It is hand count criminalized?
It is illegal to challenge the result?(!)
Those are Kat’s points above. Please explain.
Yeah, bcz That would be just sheer accountability, of course…. for SOME ONES!!!
He did a World tour, and all he got out of it were lousy headlines.
I am so surprised he didn’t pop into Kiev, his wife could have had a gold leaf facial, while he was bravely not dodging an air raid shelter.
Maybe they could stick a helmet on him, and put him in the turret of a tank?
This comment is perfect!
“He hopes to win the hearts and minds of devoted Donald Trump supporters ahead of next year’s U.S. election.”
He does? Perhaps he should look around the room and hope again…
The RONA Messiah will walk on water next.
Faux Noose at 11…
He’s addicted to hopium, can’t ever get enough of the stuff!
He is blinded by ambition/ ego, and obviously CANNOT read a room. His handlers have spent TOO much time & money blowing sunshine up his ass that he is believing himself to be the savior of the Republicans. Maybe I’m the asshole, but anyone having Karl Rove calling the shots in the background in No Bueno for me.
It is BLATANTLY obvious that RD does not have the MAGA supporters (in any significant numbers) on his side , and I believe his candidacy (“undeclared” at this point, like we don’t know, right) is designed to extract campaign platform concessions from the Trump camp for PDJT’s inevitable nomination, in exchange for RD’s support of Trump. This happens all the time with minor candidates.
Meanwhile, Rove and the GOPe gets something for the RINOS, RD gets his ego stroked ( and TONS of campaign $ to play with), and we go back to the ‘regularly scheduled programming”
As a Floridian, I am PISSED at the Governor for the OBVIOUS bait and switch. He is back burnering some serious local issues during his global “Hey, look at me tour”

Ding, Ding, Ding we have a winner. Pissed is an understatement. Soon, no one will be able to afford to live in FLA except his beach friends.
This comes to mind 🤣

That Daily Beast article is fuel to the dumpster fire. It makes it clear that he is not presidential material.
But it doesn’t use the correct word, CORRUPT. Dark money, lying about “not campaigning”, full war chest with lots of money, completely micro-managed because he is not what he is being portrayed.
He’s perfect Globalist clay. They-make him what they need him to be, and he runs to obey. This guy is dangerous and deceitful.
Fundamentally, Ron is not smart enough to do any of this himself. Has been so since the college days.
Not only not smart. The way he is so transparently managed, shows he has NO, -0- self confidence.

It seems that if any election fraud is to take place in 2024, it will be in the primaries to have DeSantis “win” over Trump. So that way, it will seem more “natural” for Biden to get more votes than DeSantis in the general election.
Vigilance is especially needed in the primaries.
Exactly. Rinos are going to cheat Trump. That’s why DeRino is still running with low poll numbers.
He knows the fix is in it for him. Hopefully Trump starts a new party then.
You mean like Joebama staying in his basement?
That’s how Greg “Borderless” Abbott is still Governor.
Yes and no. As PDJT has said repeatedly, THEY are using lawfare as ELECTION INTERFERENCE.
As the indictments pile up, from as many bogus directions as they can conjure up, there plan is THIS is what would decide it, NOT the primaries.
RDS doesn’t HAVE to get more delegates than PDJT, he just has to clearly be second, which is why no one else will challenge him FOR second.
They hope to use the INDICTMENTS to deny PDJT the nomination, not delegate count.
Still, the State Party leadership, in EVERY State are all RINOS, and they DO rig primary elections,…have done it for YEARS.
Dutchman how can we stop this?
Uniparty insurgents are targeted the minute they announce themselves. It was the same in 2015…it’s always the same with the uniparty…
“…my opponent spent $26M… [my family] was followed, people taking pictures, crazy stuff…”
— Kari Lake 2022 Primary Night Speech
The last thing opposition media wants is an insurgent landslide.
A “natural” horse-race is good for rating$ and helps to distract uniparty voters from recognizing a landslide BEFORE it’s recognized. The truth, after the fact, won’t help you much.
“The only way to win (or expose) is with a landslide so big, they can’t rig it or steal it.”

NeverMAGA media is opposition media, it’s 24/7/365, “GET TRUMP!”
That’s not going to change, regardless what channel it’s on.
Vigilance is needed now. My opinion only.
Kari Lake’s Speech After Taking Lead In Primary Election
https://rumble.com/v1em0vn-trump-endorsed-kari-lakes-speech-after-taking-lead-in-primary-election.html
Yup, said this yesterday.
The only way around it is for people to declare their votes to people working outside polling stations.
Many RdS supporters and influencers echo the line that RdS can beat Biden but Trump will never be able to beat Biden because Trump being Trump energizes the dem base to get the vote out. Thing is…Trump did beat Biden. Other thing is they all know Trump beat Biden but to keep their ruse going they must pretend not to know Trump beat Biden.
Yes. Proves they cheated in 2020/2024….. they are still scared of Trump!!!
If Trump was such an election loser like they say then why continually harass him?
And, their boy is a much disliked hack for the Globalist cause. They have had him in their pocket ever since his college days.
In other words…NeverMAGA announces itself PA$$IONATELY…Pa$$ionately…pa$$ionately…
Until the money runs out.
Next time you’re chatting with NeverMAGA influencers, ask them how many votes The MAGA King received as president in Florida, compared to how many the temp received as governor.
Fake Hate Late Again
Laugh Back Better
I could not care less what any Brits think of DeSantis but what the hell is he doing campaigning outside of AMerica, anyway? Unless DeSantis is doing Florida business there – real Florida business – then he has no reason to be there, other than on a personal vacation that he should be paying for, himself.
DeSantis goes global
A message from Alibaba:
Florida businesses, like DS Laboratories, are among thousands of American companies that sell products to over one billion consumers in China on Alibaba’s e-commerce platforms. Last year, sales of U.S. products to Chinese consumers on Alibaba added $1.7 billion to Florida’s GDP and supported 15,000 jobs and $936 million in wages for local workers.

We don’t want a fake Trump, we want the real Trump!
When Anna Paulina Luna’s father was killed in a car crash in January 2022, she received notes from two prominent Florida Republicans. One was from former President Donald J. Trump, a condolence letter that he signed?, ‘Donald.’ The second letter came not from Gov. Ron DeSantis, but from his wife, Casey. The letters meant something to Ms. Luna, who was endorsed by both Mr. Trump and Mr. DeSantis in the House race she won last year.
But in the end, she backed Mr. Trump for president in 2024. “Trump’s operation is personal,” Ms. Luna said in an interview on Capitol Hill, hours before flying to Mar-a-Lago for a dinner with Mr. Trump and the Florida congressional lawmakers who have endorsed him.”
“THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM WITH MEN’S PANTS,”
tweeted menswear writer Derek Guy, @dieworkwear.
Look at how baggy DeRino clothes are!!!
I knew it. I posted it a week ago on Twitter!!! He left the country for secret sono-bello treatments on his abdomen, neck, legs? Lol.
His suits usually look too small.
Well it is obvious. DeSwampass is an empty suit. Thus the baggy, high water pants.
Good one!
They aren’t baggy, they are poorly fit, aggravated by what I am going to call a lazy posture, it is indeed a result of too much fabric here or there technically, but it’s not because they are too big, simply poorly tailored or cheap off the rack with no one having a clue.
Those things don’t drape well at all, and the short hem with platform boots doesn’t help.
Thanks Nichan for the thread, excellent information!
Thank you. The British tailormanship has always been classically perfect .. their tailors and even Chinese tailors in Hong Kong of ages past were perfect replicas of their superb craftsmanship and attention to variants of fits. Used to be when you are even just transiting in Hong Kong you could get a suit or 2 made within an hour and leave HK with it – the trademark being perfectly tailored and indeed cheap in cost for what you wold get one done in London. Even though there were other Asian and SE Asian British colonies, very few achieved the pristine craftsmanship as tailors in HK. Perhaps it was because the larger migration from SE Asian countries were from HK; with relatives in Britain which facilitated the flow of updated information on the trade through communication and travel between the two countries.
I worked for expatriate companies in Singapore and among them were British ones. It was always fun being asked to accompany their guys who had to get ‘tropical’ suits made. It evolved into getting them to wear suits of which, among many combinations; perfectly tailored light brown suits worn with pink shirts were what you will never see or be allowed in the office in business or government environs,
It’s most informative and fun reading Derek Guy for me because a lot of the information brought back memories of the time spent with local Asian tailors and a few of their British imports who meticulously explain some aspects of difficulty, style and cuts of the perfect suit for each particular body shape; and the fun to finally agree what outrageous (in those days) combinations were fine becoming top sellers.
Poorly tailored. He is wearing a cheap suit probably from China.
Totally appropriate then.
His pants are too short too..highwaters ugh
I thought he must have borrowed them from Rubio.
How tall is Ron DeSantis? I just googled this question and got extremely differing results from 5’7” to 6’2”. Personally he looks 5’6” to me. I searched through his published wedding pictures and he frequently wears chunky heels to add inches. Still he looks about even with his wife and she does not look tall.
Probably why he seems heavy.
The wife’s background seems sketchy. Wikipedia lists her father as an optometrist and mother as a speech pathologist. Nice middle class occupations. A Grandparent is Sicilian. But she was a big time equestrian and was seriously competitive in college. Horses take more money than you’d think middle class occupations would provide.
Hmmm.
I know how $$$$$ it is to show horses..it’s
like owning a yacht
I did it way back…yes for today.
Those pictures of him with the Japanese leader looked horrible, he was towering over him by exactly the added height from his platform cowboy boots, and the high hem made it super obvious.
He may as well have been standing on his tiptoes for the pic, it looked exactly like an immature childish stunt.
He is bow-legged, which he can’t help, but in the past I have noticed him wearing cowboy boots and the top of boot makes the pants flare out making things worse. The above photo it looks just below the knee his boot top is puckering out, or he is wearing a leg brace. I think that helps him look heavy. As a Floridian are there any photos of him in shorts?
Anyway, I have noticed a different report on the height as well. I would say he isn’t over 5’7. As much as I despise the Gnomenazi, he owns being a short man. Power comes in all sizes and shapes.
This. Bow-legged. It’s hard to hide.
“How tall is Ron DeSantis?” ….
not nearly tall enough.
Middle class gal here….Back in the day, it was affordable or at least possible, for the little girls to be able to get a pony if the parents were judicious in their expenditures. Today, no. Corporatism screwed that up too. Along with veterinarian care and farriers jumping in the bandwagon.
Slowly, the dreams of America’s middle class children, have also been decimated.
In the early 80’s, I rode with/trained with the young couple that reworked and ran the CofC equestrian program…they produced some very good competitors, for the college equestrian competition circuits.
Does anyone know if she, if the reference is to Casey, was in the College of Charleston equestrian program? One thing, Charleston, back in the day, had a lot of “quiet” money, and that money was old, too. I could not find anything to indicate the horses thing….but I found this from November:
https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2022/11/ron-desantis-casey-florida-president-election.html
“The College” is my alma mater. Class of 1975 🥰
Thanks for the update. I have been away from involvement equestrian sports for a long time. My time was spent grooming and schooling hunter/jumpers, traveling to but not riding in various shows. It was a very satisfying experience; the horses were easy to love, and those were among the best years of my life.
Article you reference mentioned Ohio as her state of origin.
The “they were married at Disney” caught my eye. Who in the heck wants to get married at Disney? Wedding pix with Goofy?
LOL!
Married at disney and packaged later as maga lite.
😂😂
Equestrian sports are costly, for sure, although a surprisingly large number of middle class people participate. Those who do are pretty single minded, and they don’t spend a lot of money on other things. Rising in level, though, requires a better horse, and cost is a factor, but not always the deciding one. I think college-level competition horses don’t always belong to the equestrian.
Depends on the area how much it costs. Also depends on the equestrian discipline.
You can get an off the track thoroughbred for a few thousand. This type of horse requires a good trainer and time to retrain, so $$.
A Hunter type horse nowadays with some experience but not a top resume starts at about $50k and goes up well into 6 figures depending on skill and experience.
Jumpers with top bloodlines and jumping .9 meter with lots of scope to move up to meter 40-50 are probably $70k and up.
Then there’s a good farrier for about $400 a month, vet bills that can be from $2k to thousands more a year if you inject joints etc.
Boarding starts at $1200 a month for an average barn and goes up with the location, prestige of the barn plus your ambitions.
Then there’s the trainer. Depending on the discipline and proven skill level, a trainer might charge anywhere from $75 to $400 per ride, multiple days a week.
So yeah, an upper middle class income is a necessity. Unless you are a vet, a farrier and a trainer yourself.
It takes an odd man to wear heels…

Ah Ha. No wonder he has his hands full going toe to tail with Mickey Mouse.
I bet the Brit corporate leaders took notice at the treatment he gave Disney.
A mickey mouse campaign for sure.
He’s done. Pres. Trump is going to win the Primaries…plain & simple.
He thought it looked Sooo Easy when Trump does it… He was so SURE he could EASILY top THAT!
All he could do was show himself for what he is… inadequate!!!
So Very Fitting.
‘Ron DeSantis Flies To Israel To Destroy Free Speech In Florida’
‘This week Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida made a trip to Israel to sign HB 269, a bill that makes it a felony with up to five years in jail for passing out “offensive” flyers or pamphlets. This move has been widely criticized by free speech advocates and legal experts as a gross violation of the First Amendment. The bill states that anyone distributing “any material for the purpose of intimidating or threatening the owner” could be convicted of a felony “hate crime.” While we often write about the “hate speech” rules on Big Tech platforms, this is far worse. This is the state of Florida violating the First Amendment of the United States.’ ~Torba
Well, THREATENING someone, whether in writing or verbally is already a crime, intimidation USUALLY inherently involves a threat, so WHAT behavior is this law intended to criminalise, that isn’t already illegal?
“For the purpose of” is the problem. That’s mind-reading and where anyone can assume anything.
All part of the show, I guess…a play with really bad reviews.
Ron 2024…A dry ass Meatball with no sauce.
You go “Da Little Ragu”…No really go.
Looks like one of those moments when some of our British leaders can be quite perceptive.
Politico, of course, would’ve downplayed the visit had it been a resounding success. This apparently made it easy.
Not sure if the U.K. response to DeSantis is because of him or the U.S. in general. Probably, both.
Ronzo is a disposable splitter.
The uniparty is trying every which way they can to defeat Trump. They have several legal venues in progress with hopes of nullifying his run. They have Ron DeSapio to upstage him in the republicant primaries. Lastly they have their ballot harvesting operations they unleashed in 2020, that have been reprogrammed and modified to steal another election.

He is the man who is victimized daily — and was cheated out of his second term.
They can violate the constitution, slander, and falsely incarcerate us until the cows ( with their MRNA vaccines) come home.
They can fire Tucker and pander to bat guano tranny culture.
They can slurp up their money as they grift at the global donor trough.
They can rattle their papers and make their bs speeches while doing nada.
They CANNOT force us to accept or vote for another Bush, Romney, McCain backstabbing, duplicitous piece of excrement.
Go sell it somewhere else -Ron and your RNC overlords (whoops I guess you are unsuccessfully attempting this).
WE DO NOT WANT YOU!!!
🇺🇸💕Donald Trump💕🇺🇸
💕💕💕💕MAGA💕💕💕💕
Ron desingous is a lame duck limping and will fail similar to jeb bush.
Desantis can’t seem to convince people he is anything other than another jeb bush type of promoted facade of a loser.
OK, I’m coming to the rescue as Ron’s new campaign manager. 1) Veto the new Florida law and be relieved of the appearance of conflict of interest; 2) Let the FL legislature override his veto; 3) Look like he had the interest of Florida foremost but accept the legislative mandate to run for President; 4) Let this be the topic of a one day news cycle instead of his foreign trip fizzle; 5) Fire me when all backfires anyway.
So over a year ago, in an interview, Ron DeSantis said, If Trunp runs, I will NOT!…So he’s a Liar…I will never vote for someone who took an Oath in a Secret Society…
Ron is Obama with less charisma and none of the white guilt driving people to vote for Ron. However, there are parallels.
No Republican can win 2024 without Florida. It will be another Georgia if DeSantis doesn’t enforce the law. A deal has to be struck either way. This is the corrupt nature of our nation now, there is no way to win without the back door dealing PDJT managed to avoid in 2016.
The Israel leg of his journey was where he got permission, and London is where he gets paid.
History rhymes…
The Brits like royalty and President Trump is the MAGA King. Sorry meatball.
So now CTH is having us read a Politico hit piece on a potential Republican nominee. Will you do the same with their next hit piece on Trump? We all already know Politico’s overwhelming bias. We can go to Politico’s opinion if we want their opinion, or has CTH inked a deal with Politico?
After watching Ron DeSantis for a good while, the chrome is starting to flake, at least to me. The first stumble was DeSantis saying he wasn
t running or indicating to prominent Republicans he would not run if President Trump did. Also, Florida law at that time said he would have to resign as Gov. if he did. My, my how things have changed. Ron is untrustworthy and has manipulated the Florida Law so he can have his cake and eat it too. Another very disturbing occurrence was DeSantis having multiple conversation and being advised by Paul Ryan and Karl Rove, two individuals a man with integrity, honesty, and moral values would not be caught dead with. Lastly, it is the whos who in DeSantis`s corner, like Mitch McConnell and the Republican Establishment, several Democrat Communist, some Hollywood, in all, not people you would want in your corner unless you were an “Establishment Puppet” being used to take out President Trump. In my eyes, DeSantis has lost all of his shine and the rust and corrosion is showing up now.The Brits do not vote here. Or whatever we call what we do.
In addition to this “performance” being the end of Ron’s political career, I hope it puts the mega donors, Karl Rove, Jeb Bush, et. al., out of the political arena, too.
If Ron’s non-candidacy exposes them all, wouldn’t it be rich if they never have influence again?
Ron DeSantis is Yale-Harvard trained lawyer turned politician, so diplomatic/foreign affairs and business negotiation/economy are not his strong suit.
But, yeah, it is embarrassing that DeSantis did not prepare well in advance before his trip, and doesn’t have the personal charisma to win friends over.
Hopefully this whole “Book Tour” trip will teach Ron DeSantis that he’s not ready right now, that he needs to shore up his overall cred. And maybe look beyond 2028, since he’s still young by today’s standard. But will his (and his wife’s) ambition blind them both?
He really should have just waited four more years.
Greed is stronger than ambition.
There was also considerable criticism of Ron DeSantis’ appearance, ill-fitting slouchy suit pants and need for a good tailor.
The worst thing RDS did on the world tour was to attempt to claim he was the one who got Trump to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem.
Heck – That was one of Trump’s campaign promises!
DeSantis is Dishonest to the core.
On Headliners on GB News last night, the panel didn’t have much to say about DeSantis himself, but they did think it was nice that an American candidate stopped by, since they feel that the Biden admin has been “ghosting” the UK.
Uh, did I miss something? Isn’t Ron DeSantis still governor of FL? As such, shouldn’t he be focusing his energies on his state? Shouldn’t he be doing the job he was-gasp-ELECTED to do? Did I miss something?
Desantis has ghosted Florida.
THAT was my point!
Basement Biden has the ball.
America is so anemic he will prevail followed by 8 years of the D successors.
Dems have the table until 2036 at least.
PS the May Migrant surge and series of government handouts coming will dwarf the previous giveaways.
DeSantis will be the next No Name / Willard GOP patsy.
I love it and especially the meme.
Thank God for Sundance!!!!
We are voting for President Trump with no apology.
Sundance the picture of Suspicious Cat behind RD at top of article gave me a much needed chuckle. You have a wicked sense of humor. Keep it up!
Another “social influencer” accidentally tweeted this out by accident, should havebeen a private message I expect,
then deleted it , getting paid $250,000 by the DeSantis mob.
shaneyyricch on Twitter: “Woah… tweeted this and deleted within a minute. @stillgray was this meant for a private text message? https://t.co/fZc5tty7I3” / Twitter
I smell your contempt for your gov all the way over here behind the pine tree curtain in East Texas.
I hope it wafts along to the rest of nation.
Good read Sundance
Lifts in his shoes… hahahahaha… perfect metaphor 😂😂😂
I saw a well-produced ad on tv late last night featuring the short-panted Meatball and how “he is the leader that America” needs.
It did not say that he was running but it was certainly implied.
FJB!
This is a good thing, since obviously the majority of Americans (81 million) desired a fundamental change in the way we govern ourselves. So let’s complete the fundamental change begun by Barack Hussein Obama and become another satellite of the E.U.
Not in 2024 and now I’m thinking not in 2028…And not as Trump’s VP as well. Might just as well put Pence on the ticket, it’s the same thing….And the Bush’s can all go pound sand. They’ve disgraced themselves as far as I’m concerned & one is no different then the other. …That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Desantis does remind me of Pence.
His trip went off like a damp squid (squib).
