If you ever wanted to know how influential billionaire donors and the professional grift is amid the pro-life movement, this is a case study in the insanity of it.
President Donald John Trump was the most pro-life President in U.S. history. President Trump outlined the platform policy of returning the issue of abortion to the states, and constructed all political endeavors to deliver on that pledge. President Trump was the first president to speak at the March for Life events in Washington DC and hold pro-life supporting events at the White House.
Additionally, President Trump appointed three conservative pro-life judges to the Supreme Court, with the intention of overturning the Roe -v- Wade decision and returning the issue of abortion to the states. This was and is the conservative position, and the goal of the pro-life movement as it was articulated. In 2022, in the Dobbs decision, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of overturning Roe -v- Wade and the abortion issue was successfully return to the states as promised.
Since entering politics, the position of candidate Trump and then President Trump has never changed. It is the same federalist position he holds today as outlined by the Washington Post:

However, Lila Rose, President and Founder of the Live Action network, is now deriding President Trump because he does not support reinstituting federal control over the issue of abortion and campaigning on a non-federalist platform of a nationwide abortion ban.
Apparently, Lila Rose is supporting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who recently used the Supreme Court decision, ironically made possible by President Donald Trump, to construct a 6-week abortion ban law in Florida. Oddly enough, a legislative outcome Ron DeSantis is also not promoting as part of his “book tour” and national stealth campaign.
Ms. Rose, in her official capacity as president of the Live Action organization appears to be influenced by the same billionaire donor class funding that supports the candidacy of Ron DeSantis. Despite President Trump delivering the results of the pro-life movement, Mrs. Rose is now deriding the President who delivered the outcome of her advocacy, saying it -and he- was just not good enough.

President Trump’s speech marked the first time in the event’s history that a sitting president had addressed the crowd live via video feed. Try to find a picture of Ron DeSantis attending the Washington DC March for Life event and you will not find one. He never attended. If one was to support this as a federal law seems like you would have to support this at conception not at 6 weeks as they just did in Florida. While I applaud bans to limit abortions, if someone is “pro life” there is no acceptable age to abort a life. Paraphrasing a poster here “Sixteen week ban is a reasonable time”. I come from a family of 13. Or so I always thought. But my mom wrote a book about her life to give to us children so we would know details about our background, family tree, etc.
I was just reading it the other day and it starts with a list of her children, including birth dates. There are two siblings I never met. One was a miscarriage and the other was a stillbirth. Being a mom myself I totally understand why she included those. Ask someone who has had a miscarriage before the 6th week. It is heartbreaking and never forgotten or dismissed.

My wife of almost 48 years this month and I have 3 children. She had a miscarriage a year before our second child was born. We always think “what would that child be like now” Our first, a girl of 46 has multiple handicaps from malpractice. Our other two are boys. The boys are really something to be proud of the oldest is going to be 41 and the youngest will be 37. The child we lost would’ve been 42. I think what would’ve been with that child. If you need evidence the leadership of the pro choice and pro life movements are fundamentally corrupted and pawns of a greater game, the absence of the such a caveat is the proof. There is no doctrinal excuse for both sides not forming substantial agreement to insert such caveat language into the law of each of our 50 states.
But they will not. They cannot afford it. They are addicted to the money and the vanities their protestations doth render. Estimates are that 50% or more of abortions today are done by chemical abortion, aka the abortion pill. There is little medical oversight on these pharmaceuticals. There are cases of them being mail ordered (who receives them?) and slyly given to pregnant women by someone who doesn’t want the baby. For this reason, many physicians who are right to life do not prescribe birth control pills. An IUD works by a different mechanism in the same way.
Yes there are also pills specifically to take after unprotected sex, and that is another matter.
The real issue, however is bigger than this. We cannot legislate spirituality and wisdom on the people. The best we can do is ensure that the freedom is there to assemble, speak, teach, parent, worship, choose our methods of following God.

Pro-life investigators got the info to President Trump in late September 2020. They had to bypass Mike Pence and Ms. Dannensfelser and Kellyanne Conway; they got it to President Trump thru his sons. A very large money donor also got the info to President Trump. In early October 2020, President Trump promised to prosecute Planned Parenthood for enabling se xu al abusers if the info sent to him by pro-life investigators was accurate.
Of all the media, only World Net Daily covered the story.
Of all the right to life groups out there, the ones doing the most damage to abortion providers are Operation Rescue, led by Evangelical Tray Newman, and the Thomas More Society, led by Catholic Thomas Brejcha. The rest are by and large posers.

We must put pressure on the churches, to defend the family ideals and the Word of God, Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Premarital sex fits in there and so does abortion. The Catholic church views premarital sex under the ‘adultery’ clause. Somewhere, the message is lost. The younger set may get the message but don’t have “the tools” in how to fight the triggers that lead to the ‘need’ for abortion. Being an adolescent or young adult is not easy anymore. Church attendance has dropped, a lot.

Our precious children and grandchildren grow up way too fast, by liberal design. Minimizing the emotional damage, caused by ‘normalizing’ abortion, does not help anyone. Liberal anything, does not help anyone.
The churches are too afraid to alienate donors who are centrist. Parents are too busy and too tired, working to make ends meet. And some don’t care.
The ‘date rape’ laws let perpetrators off easy. Date rape drugs let it happen, to start with and where, just where do they come from?
And worse yet, the religious organizations that make illegal immigration easy…are the worst. Like that poor child with DNA from 60+ perverts, found inside her….are those org’s going to step forward and pay for the medical and decades of mental health care for that child??? God willing, she makes it through adolescence, fractured.
My own church is hurting financially…so I assume others are too….we need to hit ’em where it hurts, (Bless me Father for I have sinned, I have with held financial assistance) until they get back to the basics of God’s Law.

I remember Doug Collins saying watch out for the National Pro Life Orgs that want to push for a national abortion ban, despite it not being a federal issue. Roe v Wade was overturned partly for that reason but you must realize, this is playing politics. The pro life orgs need an issue to continue to raise funds. I’m sure when RvW was overturned the donations to these organizations dropped. Lila Rose needs a big fight to keep pro lifers eyes and dollars on the issue.
But this is a state level issue and they need to fight for the unborn on a state by state level.

I like states rights.. kind of the whole point of a constitutional republic. But then most people forget that in their quest for money, power and how it can be leveraged to exact control over others.
What you call State’s Rights is better termed Federalism. We were composed/constituted as a United States…States joining one another for a small (very small) set of Federal obligations.
I regularly attempt to educate passionate people about the concept of Federalism. Let the States (closer to your voting power) choose policies which you like or do not like.

For all the work she has done; this negates all her talks and any good she has done. I view this action as another case of leftist infiltration of key organizations. It’s formulaic: make large donations, host lavish events, establish key relationships within the group, gain leadership roles, and then, as a covert operative, engage in wedge politics that open rifts in voting blocs.
