Sometimes there are words you write, then disassemble; then try and reassemble in a more correct order, then erase and start over because the subject matter is beyond words. There has never been more truth in that preceding sentence than trying to encapsulate the impact and worth of Andrew Breitbart.
March 1, 2012, we all lost him. Not a day goes by that Andrew Breitbart is not missed.
Posted in Heros
He was effective therefore he had to be eliminated.
WAR!
I will always believe Andrew was poisoned … and his coroner was eliminated before he could publish his findings.
Back when it happened I wasn’t certain but after what we’ve experienced since I’m certain.
What wouldn’t they do?
My favorite thing with Andrew is how he’d wade right into a gaggle of idiot liberals angrily protesting and ask questions pertaining to what they were protesting, invariably they would just slink off in ignorance. Pioneers get the arrows.
RIP Andrew, many picked up your mantle and would make you proud, your mission lives with Sundance and CTH.
I follow that thought often when talking to a liberal –
What did President Trump say or do to make you think:
he is a racist
he hates women
he colluded with Russia (my favorite, because I give my
wide eyed look (ala trojan horse Tucker) and ask,
“do you really think President Trump peed on the
bed at the hotel Obama stayed at when in Russia?”
I try to pose the question in a serious way, trying
not to laugh in their faces.
Then I pull out my cheat sheet out of my handbag
and start reading all the great things President
Trump did while president.
Then, invariably, their eyes glaze over and they
say, “I don’t want to talk politics” or “I don’t
want to talk politics with you”.
One other thing – I always say/write President Trump
as a sign of respect. It makes me crazy when people
just say Trump. However, I notice that using President Trump triggers
craziness in some liberals. It makes it fun.
I couldn’t respect President Trump more,
the best leader of the free world in my life time.
These days of sound bites and memes.
Donald J Trump, was one of the most popular celebrities in the world,
until he ran for President. He was invited to everything, important.
I call him ‘Trump’ to the sheep, they will want to know what I say.
I want the sheep to know what I said.
He still is one of the most popular celebrities in the world.
By people!
But not by politicians?
And the propaganda media complex?
I wish I had your patience (sigh). 🙄🤷
VSGPOTUS is an acceptable acronym.
Nice post… Thanks.
Yes, there are many posters of comments here and elsewhere, who have forgotten that Mantle of Respect. It should ALWAYS be “President Trump”.
Maybe they were testing an mRNA “vaccine”. Any injections in the vicinity of his death? As insane as this suggestion seems, this is where I’ve landed thanks to the deep and diabolical world that we now know we live in.
Would Andrew be reporting on the dimensions of war or perceived dynamics of today’s twisted process? He was eliminated long before it became as perverted as it is today. So many layers and so very dark. This is well worth giving some mental dynamics … ever wonder about Space Force today since the Biden team just laugh or where the trillion was spent under President Trump? Some aspects to this deserve some thought. Many men coming across our southern border … what really is the objective? I think Breitbart would have a pretty spot on opinion about this and have the courage to dig deep. It’s out there… but, is it really?
https://www.bards.fm/e/ep2073_bardsfm-private-militaries-at-war/
” long before it became as perverted as it is today”
N.J: Slight miscalculation there, IMHO. It has been this way for ages and ages. Just ‘boldly surfaced recently.
Sundance
Thank you for carrying Andrew’s torch for the truth
Tea
I saw Andrew speak at a Right Nation event (I think that was what it was called) in Hoffman Estates (Outside Chicago) shortly before his death. His speech was short but fantastic, but even before the event … while other speakers were sneaking into the venue, Andrew walked right in the front door AFTER FIRST conversing with the protesters outside and making them answer the right questions (no vague answers left unfleshed). He STUNNED them. I never saw leftist protesters quiet down so quickly in my life. Never before and never after. I was very lucky to witness the confrontation. He was BRILLIANT and FEARLESS! I would have loved to witness his words and actions during the presidency of Donald Trump (and now the current times). I bet things would have gone differently these last few years. I miss this man every day. RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION for sure.
I should also say that I consider James O’Keefe the closest thing to a protege of Andrew’s.
I was at that event too.
It is stunning how much has been revealed since then.
You could multiply it by ten or 100, a 1,100 if Andrew was still with us today.
The man was one-of-kind.
RIP Andrew Breitbart.
F__k You!!
WAR!!!
STILL says it all.
I can’t thank what woke my inner Breitbart -how I see the world, politics, orchestrations, and relationships- enough. The discovery that there are more of us than them. The fact that are more awakenings everyday.
Ripples of Breitbart continue on. For that- I am grateful
Job well done, Andrew Breitbart.
Andrew remarking about Okeefe’s beginning in the trailer. The man we miss and the man we gained 🙂 Thank you, Breitbart and Go, James!
A Great American, who inspired a generation of other Great Americans.
Thoroughly enjoyed his book “Righteous Indignation: Excuse Me While I Save the World!”
Amazing vignette on how his father-in-law, the actor Orson Bean — via a book in his library by Rush Limbaugh, converted Andrew from a liberal to warrior for truth & conservativism (but I repeat myself). And his time working at and for Drudge was eye-opening …
For a Party and Movement in which cowardice & fecklessness had been contagious (and the dominant animating factor and raison d’être) for over half a century, Andrew demonstrated and reminded us too that courage & righteousness is contagious (leading to President Trump and others as our new animating factor and raison d’être).
Love him!
He was The Dude!
Miss you, Andrew!
And the current Breitbart “team”, continues to milk Andrew’s name despite the fact they are nothing now what Andrew had envisioned.

Yes! I absolutely do recall such.
Wasn’t it news about Podesta?

11 Years: Andrew Breitbart’s Indelible Legacy: https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2023/03/01/11-years-andrew-breitbarts-indelible-legacy/
Thanks for posting that tribute to Andrew! It was wonderful! If you go to the 52 minute mark, David Webb talks about a tea party event in Philadelphia that he and Andrew spoke at, right next to the Liberty Bell. That was my Tea Party group! I will never forget meeting him and speaking with him.
David Webb’s daily AM program on SiriusXM is IMO the most intelligent and reasoned conservative talk show in America.
Legendary!
The day Andrew just casually took over Anthony Weiner’s press conference, and started speaking TRUTH bombs to the assembled crowd was, and remains, my absolute favorite moment in media.
I knew without really knowing, a momentous thing in history had just taken place.
I loved Andrew Breitbart and all that he encapsulated. I was devastated the day he died.
However, I have come to believe the Arch Angel Andrew, is here somewhere fighting and protecting warriors like Sundance, and President Trump.
For there are surely divine forces at work right now.
God Bless America
MAGA
That was BASED AND EPIC
I remember that!
Thank you!
I never get tired of hearing Andrew speak. On any subject. Just amazing poise and based in his delivery.
Andrew deserves his own Mount Rushmore.
Andrew Breitbart was the reason I started using Twitter.
I couldn’t understand how that worked, I just kept seeing those short texts moving on the side of a site, and soon I learned that I could interact with the person who was saying there all I ever wanted to say! He took no prisoners!
Miss you, Andrew!
I hope his family is OK! Prayers for them!
My Boy, Sweet Andrew
ORSON BEAN –
Andrew came a-courting one day. He had been introduced to my daughter, Susie by my son Max, her brother.
Max and Andrew were best friends. Just out of college, Max worked as a busboy at a high-end restaurant called 72 Market Street. Andrew was a waiter (higher status) at a nearby diner called Hal’s. Susie brought him home to seek her father’s approval.
My wife, the actress Alley Mills, and I had them to dinner. Andrew sat at the table in front of a window. Holding forth, he waved his arms to emphasize some point or other, leaned back on his chair and crashed right through the window. Poor guy; humiliated but fine.
We loved him on the spot, and the love grew as he married Susie (in our back yard outside the re-glazed window) and they presented us, over the years, with four adored grand-children.
Andrew grew in stature and became one of the most important men in America. But to me he remained the young man who swept my daughter off her feet.
Years ago, when my wife was starring on TV in The Wonder Years, she had been invited to toss out the first ball in Wrigley Field in Chicago. There’s a picture of her doing so on our piano, in her Cubs shirt, winding up for the throw.
Andrew, an inveterate baseball fan, stood gazing at that photo every time he came to our house. “Wow,” he’d mutter, “what a sex fantasy: my father-in-law sleeping with the mother from The Wonder Years!”
We were not the only ones who loved Andrew. The field included, what’s the word I’m searching for? EVERYONE who got to know him, including people who despised his politics.
The New Yorker announced that it was going to publish a major piece on him and sent a female journalist to L.A.. I feared a hatchet job. After hanging out with him for ten days, she wrote a love letter.
As his fame spread, well known political people came into his life. Invariably, he would bring them to our place in Venice. (Still seeking his father-in-law’s approval?)
“Tell them the joke,” he’d urge. I had told him a joke once which he loved. “It’s existential!” he’d cry, and laugh himself silly every time I told it.
“They don’t want to hear the joke,” I’d object. “No one thinks it’s as funny as you do.”
“They do want to, they do!” he’d insist. Each time I’d have to tell the joke to some celebrity and Andrew would howl with a laugh so infectious that the guest would wind up doubled over too.
Here’s the joke:
An old guy picks up a hooker.
He takes her up an alley. He drops his pants.
The hooker says, “I gotta have the money first.”
He pays her; she runs away.
He stands there.
He says, “Well…it shouldn’t be a total loss, I’ll take a shit.”
If Andrew were here, you’d be laughing. I told the joke at Andrew’s funeral, managing to hold back my tears.
I know I’ll see him again, when my time on this earth is up. If I make it past the Pearly Gates, he’ll be waiting for me.
“This is my friend God,” he’ll say. “Tell him the joke.”
Orson Bean’s farewell to his son-in-law Andrew.
Lovely.
Well done U.C.!
❤️
The beginnings of my awakening started with this man. I found the treehouse thru Breitbart. He was a legend.

🙃💕
Yesterday a friend sent a text telling me a local teacher was being falsely accused of racism when he confronted a young man smoking weed in the school bathroom. The local rag did a hit piece on the incident.
I was already in my stretchy clothes and getting ready to stream a movie. I texted my adult children who had the teacher when they were high school and asked if they thought I should go to the school board meeting to speak on the teacher’s behalf.
My son answered by asking, “What would Breitbart do?” His siblings concurred. That is all it took for me to get my clothes back on and “send a message to the people..who are agreeing with you…they can do it too.”
There are few now or then that matched his Integrity or Stubborn pursuit of Truth, blog host and Mods are in this group, of course.
ACORN’s downfall actually started when James O’Keefe, a graduate of Rutgers who majored in Philosophy, managed to make a video of himself and his female partner posing as a pimp and prostitute in the Baltimore office of ACORN, requesting tax information on setting up a prostitution business with underage girls imported from El Salvador. The officials at ACORN were quite happy to help the couple set up their illegal business.
https://thenewamerican.com/was-andrew-breitbart-murdered/
No wonder they are targeting O’Keefe
That was real audacity – James has alway been famous for it, unlike the fake sort the Obammunist claims…
I saw Andrew Breitbart in April of 2011. He introduced Sara Palin.
It was freezing rain in Madison . The raucous liberals marched around us the whole time banging their drums and blowing their noise makers.
He said they hated Sarah because she could see that Obama was a community divider from her house and that they should go to H#ll.
I guess God’s giving them a little more time to repent.
A song written in honor of Andrew Breitbart
Lyrics:
WALK TOWARD THE FIRE (lyrics by Jeffrey Steele and Jon Kahn)
Who is this guy?
Jumps in the ring
Puts on the gloves
Takes on the world
Loves to make you mad
While he’s making you laugh
Who is this guy?
The voice in the riot
Speaks for the quiet
Always defiant
Stands for the small
Like some kind of giant
Whoever he is
We could use a few more like him
Someone who ain’t afraid to fight fighters
Throw the truth at all the liars.
Sees the smoke and flames get higher
And screams
Walk toward the fire.
Like there’s nothing left to lose
Walk toward the fire
So who is the guy?
I hope to God
If they write the story of my life
It means half as much
as his did to us
He came and he changed
Everything he touched
Someone who ain’t afraid to fight the fighters
Throw the truth at all the liars.
Sees the smoke and the flames get higher
And he screams
Walk toward the fire
Like there’s nothing left to lose
Walk toward the fire.
Walk toward the fire.
In a world that’s gone out of its mind
Was he the last one of his kind?
Someone who ain’t afraid to fight the fighters
Throw the truth at all the liars.
Sees the smoke and the flames get higher
Someone who ain’t afraid to fight the fighters
Throw the truth at all the liars.
Sees the smoke and flames get higher
And he screams
Walk toward the fire.
Like there’s everything to lose
Walk toward the fire.
a great life song.
God Bless America
Excellent. I just bought it for my maga playlist – thanks!
When the front leader falls down someone else has to pick up the flag and keep leading. Thank you Sundance for all your tireless efforts and leadership for us all. We all profit from your hard work and sacrifices. Know that we will cover your back and support you however we can. God bless you
I cried when Andrew died.
A lot of us did, Nancy.
So did I! I immediately understood what an incredible loss it was and that no one else could fill his shoes. He was one of a kind! I’m so glad I got to meet him in real life.
Yes, many tears!
Ty, SD.
A grrrrrreat, fearless American patriot!
Compilation video tribute to Andrew Breitbart:
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2023/03/01/11-years-andrew-breitbarts-indelible-legacy/
Andrew announced he had incriminating evidence on Dear Leader Barack Hussein. Weeks later he “died suddenly”.
Reminds me of the “financial meltdown” in the Bush economy that came out of nowhere when McCain/Palin started threatening Dear Leader Barack Hussein’s lead in the polls.
At least in 2023 we are far wiser about conspiracies and theories…
Except…
When DJT had made a great start on his promise to Make America Great Again, despite brutal slandering from literally everyone else in power for three years, he was poised for a smashing victory in 2020, coincidentally an economy-crushing pandemic comes from a country he had humuliated on the world stage.
A country that traditionally put vast importance on saving face above all else got its revenge, aided and abetted by a media and an opposition party that had suffered the same fate at his hands.
Like the fake Great Whitmer kidnapping set-up was just a trial run for January 6th, the 2008 crisis had taught our enemies that they could get away with treason if they were audacious enough.
Andrew spoke at our Tea Party event in Philadelphia. Afterwards, I spoke with him and bluntly asked him if he was afraid the left was going to kill him. He brushed it off and said he doesn’t even think about that. Shortly after, he died. I personally believe he was murdered. He was absolutely fearless! No one can compare to Andrew when it came to confronting someone on the left. He left them stuttering and speechless. It was a thing of beauty to watch!
Andrew in action.
That was fantastic! He exposed them for the fakes they are! They had no idea why they were there. My tea party group used to confront those paid protestors too. They could never answer any of our questions. They all left as a group at the same time to get to their buses.
I miss him!! Thank you, Sundance, for picking up his spear!
We all know what happened to him. The truth hurts the Dems and he sure told the truth. They will keep doing it until someone has the guts to investigate each death. Start with the one in Marcy park where this started. It is getting so common that they don’t even try to hide. ie. The last two that shot and hung themselves. Can’t remember names but were associated with the Clinton’s. Never have been made accountable for anything so the Dems had no problems killing millions of citizens with a deadly vaccine. Miss him. We sure could use him now. Unfortunately I do not have any faith in many of the Republicans either.
Hating Breitbart … the documentary: https://www.hatingbreitbart.com/
Yes to Breitbart! He was my inspiration that got me more involved in learning as much as possible about all things since the BUST era.
Breitbart was a leader. He was hated by the liberals back then and now he is a remembered and still an inspiration to all who love this country, our history (even the ugly parts) and know that without our Constitution we will be a 3rd World Country.
Breitbart was no god, but he was the man of the hour during his political lifetime.
He was an amazingly effective and funny guy as he went after the media and politicians. He knew the left like the back of his hand and he gave them just that, the back of his hand.
I felt I lost a good friend when he was killed. I’ll never believe the heart attack story.
There was no one like him!
I remember years ago ‘debating’ someone on HotAir (back then Allapundit was just Eeyore and Ed Morrissey was still masquerading as a moderate) about Andrew Breitbart in the comment section.
She didn’t like Breitbart’s flamboyant style and decorum, I said she’s just jealous because she would never have achieved the reach and effectiveness as Breitbart did. ====> Never heard back from her since then. I guess back then there was no “Block User” button, but this gal purposely ignore any comment I posted.
Remember when the level headed, open minded lefty , Matt Taibbi , openly and publicly celebrated when Andrew Breitbart died ?
That’s shameful.
The best.
The truth.
He was the catalyst. I remember him walking up to a group of ‘protesters’ and asking what they were protesting about. They all just kind of shut up and dispersed… It was glorious.
Thank you. Namaste 🙏🏻
I loved AB! I recall upon hearing of his death, that the establishment killed him. He was a truth bomb-thrower, and a joyful warrior. Don’t forget he was planning a press conference the day he died to reveal something huge. I thank God that enough people were exposed to him to carry on his mission.
The Death of Andrew Breitbart – Documentary
Andrew is a God to me. Fearless, smart as hell and funny. RIP Happy Warrior.
I didn’t come into contact with Andrew while he was alive unfortunately.
Righteous Indignation went a long way towards my “awakening.”
His legacy lives on.
Hear, hear.
RIP Andrew.
