Here’s a question I have. I am looking forward to your opinion. I have my own.
In the Trump -vs- DeSantis storyline the following data points are generally agreed:
♦Approximately 75% of the Big Con “INFLUENCERS” (Big $) and punditry Support Ron DeSantis
♦Approximately 25% of the Small “Influencers” (Small $) and Indy punditry Support Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, amid the voting base the inverse is true:
♦Approximately 25% of the conservative, working-class, base voters support Ron DeSantis
♦Approximately 75% of the conservative, working-class, base voters support Donald Trump
Reconcile this inversion. What does it mean?
As previously noted, this weekend Team DeSantis held an event. “Four Seasons resort in Palm Beach, Florida, including wealthy Republican donors and conservative social-media influencers.”
From my perspective the framework was clear in the middle of last year. This weekend’s gathering in Palm Beach is essentially an outcome of the Billionaire Sea Island group meeting. The Four Seasons event is an assembly of key people those managing Ron DeSantis have organized.
Christina Pushaw has been working on this operation since she entered the orbit of Ron DeSantis. All of the activity is a previously planned series of events. The current emphasis is to enlist the former Cruz Crew in the DeSantis effort.
According to surfacing reports attendees this weekend included: Governors: Kim Reynolds, Kevin Stitt, Bill Lee. Senators Tom Cotton, Mike Lee, Ron Johnson. Congress: Thomas Massie, Chip Roy as well as Adam Laxalt, Jim Lamon and Dana Loesch. All former Cruz Crew members.
About the Inversion – Money is flowing from the billionaire multinational and Wall Street groups (Sea Island folks) into various political action committees, SuperPACs, RGA networks and right-leaning establishment republican think tanks and NGO type political organizations. This is all “stop Trump” money.
The money is being doled out from those political organizations into the BigCon media influence group. The “influencers” are downstream beneficiaries of the Sea Island billionaire cash. The lure of the financial benefits forms the basis of the inversion.
Pushaw is in charge of the cash flow operation; essentially creating an astroturf network to give the illusion of greater support than actually exists.
BigCon has money, but not the majority of the voters. This was the issue that BigCon could not overcome in 2016 with Jeb, Rubio and eventually Cruz.
This time around, the Sea Island group planned more deeply to enlist a single candidate who could put themselves forward as the 2024 MAGA Trump alternative; that’s DeSantis. Then this same group began structuring all of the support systems to overcome the voter hurdle.
However, the Sea Island and supporting BigCon influence group have one major problem. Voters can see and feel astroturf operations, even when it is cleverly disguised as authentic or organic support.
The former ’16 Cruz Crew in combination with the former GOPe ’16 Jeb! Crew form the cornerstone of the DeSantis political support system. Recruiting social media influencers to join that assembly is the job of Christina Pushaw. This is what I noticed in the middle of 2022 and began warning about. This is not at all organic.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ entire narrative as governor, including the anti-wokeism efforts, has been designed to support a previously planned outcome. DeSantis was always going to be elevated as the 2024 non-Trump alternative.
Pushaw is essentially doing an “influence operation” inside the U.S. political system that parallels what was done in Ukraine to install Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It’s not some whacky theory, just look at what they are doing. DeSantis is as controlled and subsequently inauthentic as Zelenskyy and World War Reddit.
That’s why we are seeing this extreme inversion. It’s all about the money.
Remember, in the big picture the Sea Island group doesn’t care who wins the 2024 election, Democrats or Republicans it doesn’t matter, as long as it’s not Trump.
What matters to the Sea Island group is stopping Donald Trump and the America-First platform he represents.
RDS minions are trying to promote RDS as the non-woke, freedom-loving candidate. These people are what I have come to call “surface pundits.” They never ever go below “the surface.” Those are dangerous waters for them, and they have no answers to any subject of substance.
President Trump goes below the surface, down into the bedrock, and opines on what’s wrong and how to fix it.
RDS is running a “least of two evils” campaign, a “hold your nose again and push the button for Ron” campaign.
Is surface important? Sure. You want people to look under to the bedrock and of course they have to start at the surface.
President Trump rips the bandaid off and RDS is running around buying more bandaids.
Last night as I watched and listened to RDS on “Levine” I had to remember that FOX has come out for RDS and has always been totally against Trump. I asked myself why Levine would have RDS on his show and then I remembered. It would have been nice for him to refute the rumors about him being already bought but his focus was on his book. Trump had a book too. So, I guess his handlers thought he really should publish a book.
Yes, I like RDS but I kept seeing invisible strings attached to his entire head and body. If all I have heard about the endorsements and payouts to his campaign which I have heard about, he can never function as a President without using the strings and doing things for them.
The BIG lie will come soon.
RDS will announce for the race and those who claim to own him will have to be interviewed and they will reject such nonsense. Hide and watch. Otherwise, stand by for our country to continue down the road with Communism and Socialism leading the way.

What does the inversion mean?
A BIG disconnect between the two groups that comprise the GOP.
The struggle of dominance is not over. I believe our side is winning battles and increasing our influence within the GOP.
P Trump, as leader of the movement, must work to convert those who oppose us to our side and if they can’t be won over, then the MAGA base needs to turn our sights on them and expose, isolate, and obsolete those players.

As U.S. citizens begin to wake up to China’s assault on our economy, both parties want to maintain control over how many jobs America can claw back. I believe DeSantis, et. al., is “Politics as usual” and the 75% who support President Trump recognize that and truly want the MAGA agenda. The 25% who support DeSantis don’t want things to change. They are pretty comfortable, and were disturbed by Trump’s “mean tweets” and his direct and straight-forward approach to politics. They are of the “go along to get along” frame of mind, and don’t see the precipice we are on.
While President Trump was in office, I gave a LOT of my hard-earned cash to Win-Red, RNC, and anything that supported him. I bought flags, hats, t-shirts, etc.
Once I learned the RNC was using Trump’s name to raise money but President Trump was not receiving the attorney’s and support he needed from the RNC, I stopped that. Not one penny. No more.
I may be slow, but once I figure it out, I’m done. I would write a check to President Trump post haste if it went directly to his organization; but not the RNC or the “big club” people.
I believe there were people who supported President Trump because “The Big Club” said so, but they did not truly love the man like his base does. There are people in my family that recognize President Trump did a good job, but one of them told me not long ago if “President Trump would have kept his big mouth shut, he would still be President”.
They are blinded by the media narrative and don’t realize how the government has been overthrown. They are also the ones who voted for Obama because they thought having a black president would heal the racial divide.
I personally don’t believe there is or ever was a racial divide except for the one the Democrats kept pushing. JannB, my experience has been very similar to yours though I might have stopped the WinRed giving sooner. And many of my friends/family have that same attitude, it is frustrating. But his tweets! when they aren’t even on Twitter. And yeah, pretty sure some of them voted for Obama. The 2012 election was the first time in my adult life I didn’t cast a vote for President. I didn’t even know what was wrong but I couldn’t make myself vote for Romney. I grew up in the deep south and at the time Obama was elected, was adminning a large homeschool list. Black folks were just beginning to access homeschooling in significant numbers. I literally observed the redivision of America in real time. It was sickening.
Neither the Republican nor the Democratic base will determine the results of the next election. The Democrats’ billion dollar get every vote (dead or alive) and independents will determine who wins. the Republicans have zero real “get out the vote” effort currently and one targeting swing state independent voters will require a lot of roll up their sleeves which Republican leaders have never shown any interest in doing. Trump did no such thing. First, the Deep State created a fake disease.
If Trump said, it’s fake, that disease is just false, they would have prosecuted him for pretending to be a doctor, and they would have put him in jail for killing people. That was the whole point. That’s exactly what they wanted Trump to do.
Trump saw right through that, so what did he do? First, he tried to get a doctor to claim the disease was fake. No doctor stood up. You had a few fringe elements that claimed it, but nobody with real expertise.
So if you’re unable to prove the disease is fake, what do you do?
The best thing to do then is to get the entire medical community to come up with a cure. All comers are welcome to apply. And that’s what happened. And that’s what would have happened had Trump stayed in office, but Biden got in instead.
So what did Biden do first? He got rid of all the competition and only allowed “big pharma” to control the cure.
So you see, you’re blaming Trump for what Biden did. It’s false.
The biggest thing about it is, if it was you who had to make the decisions, you’d have done the same exact thing. And we all know it.

Congress appropriates money not the president .
I have quickly skimmed through the answers so far: this might be redundant.
The 25% of DeSantis people contains – possibly – the descendants (spiritual or otherwise) of the old country-club, “Rockefeller” Republicans, the ones who had a fit in 1964, when Barry Goldwater was nominated for president.
i.e. They care about the money first, and Conservative principles are something they accept with lip-service, but never want to see implemented, especially as those principles interfere with their money-making from Globalism, rather than an America-First economy.
Outside of them, some in the 25% may simply view President Trump as too old, and others, yes, do not like “mean tweets,” (a more ridiculous phrase in our era is hard to find).
And another part may have accepted the distorted reporting about President Trump from the MSM and cannot get past it, because they still believe “if it’s on the news, it must be true.”
I know of a few who find it incomprehensible that e.g. CBS or a newspaper “would be reporting lies about anyone or anything.”
So, that entrenched belief is difficult to uproot, especially among older people.
I also think this way and pinpoint the Declaration of Emergency in all 50 states as a big sticking point. Not one person has given me an explanation as to how one mentally gets through justifying this order and why I should not be concerned. This order enabled everything to happen. Lockdowns, masks, and yes drop boxes and Biden. President Trump could have ended this order at any time. Now Biden is extending it.
I loved the first three years of President Trump. The last was a disaster.
Not ending the order was a mistake though I bet Biden would have put it back in place regardless.

I do not believe Biden would be in office without the Declaration in place.

The inversion is quite simple to explain actually and Sundance did a excellent job on this when he ran the piece on the “Economics of Main Street vs the Economics of Wall Street” Ever since 1975 when Washington allowed the K Street lobbyists to flourish and thrive has the slice of the pie of the middle class been shrinking. The donor class and their minions want a president that they can control who will maintain the status quo that they benefit from. Hence Ron DeSantis.
Donald Trump on the other hand wants everyone to benefit from the economy, not just a chosen few. This is why many of his policies favored main street to create a balance. Because of these actions they have been trying to take out Trump since that ride down the escalator. “There are trillions at stake.”
So the inversion can be attributed to that the majority of people usually act in their own self interest and the rest to Hanlon’s Razor.

Donald Trump won his two elections. Unfortunately, he was cheated out of both of them by the corrupt Obama junta. He is also a victim of his own success and branding much like Xerox and Kodak in that his competitors like Rino Ron will run on his platform without the baggage that President Trump was forced to carry. Unlike President Trump, their promises will only be lip service to get them elected. Their paths were paved by Donald Trump which they should acknowledge but never will.
What’s left now of the American working middle class was and for the most part still is Trumps core support . The Big Club Billionaires & Millionaires Support for DeSantis will only create suspicion of another buy out or sell out which it ultimately probably is .
The fracturing of the Republican Party will only encourage or enable another fraud based election to put another demented democrat in the Oval Office.
Trump is typically his own worst enemy and perhaps someone like Tulsi Gabbard as a trusted advisor staying in President Trumps ear every working hour would temper his bombastic narcissistic reactions and place him in the Oval Office

The inversion means the Uniparty and their paymasters will have to steal the nomination from Trump. If they fail, they will have to steal the general, with a worse candidate than Biden.
Maybe I’m being too simplistic but seems to me that small donors support Trump over large donors who always go with the globalists/GOPe. In 2020 Trump received most of his donated dollars from small donors which is the working class.
This is a good thing – means that the working class has been awaken. It also includes more than conservatives/declared Republicans. It includes a significant portion of independents.
Here’s what I think could happen to DeSantis – he doesn’t carry his own state in the primary. Because he ran for Governor and promised to fulfill his term this is a betrayal (again) by DeSantis. Remember, he already betrayed Trump. DeSantis went even further in having the Florida legislature change state law (I’m not sure if this has passed yet) so he could run for President while retaining his Governorship.
Once DeSantis does this his political career will be forever tainted. I don’t think he will come back to even run for President in 2028. He can’t be trusted or believed to keep his word!
I wish I could agree but I grew up in Florida and my friends/family there are nearly all solidly behind RDS if /when he runs. Most are impervious to hearing any concerns about him period. Otherwise I’d agree. He is certainly tainted forever for me by not having already come out supporting Trump and denying a 2024 run. I heard him promise and he lied.
That is unfortunate to hear Karen. Maybe the rigors of the primary process will expose DeSantis for what he is, one can always hope! I find it interesting that whilst he dismantled the Disney Reedy Creek set up it was set so the governor (DeSantis) will be appointing his cronies to the board/commission. Nice gig if you can get it I’m sure.

They love our flag and the image of Trump hugging the flag is a strong symbol; as is the constant biased attacks of the MSM. Martyrs are powerful symbols not because of the logic of their beliefs but because of the demonstrated strength of their belief.
I think the RDS crew will cheat in the primaries just like the Dems have been cheating in the last 2 general elections. They will try to copy their playbook because they know it is the only way they can defeat President Trump.

It describes the differential between who is being paid or hopes to be paid for supporting DeSantis against the candidacy of Donald Trump and those who do not seek to monetize their support for a political candidate and instead see such as a matter of conscience, not commerce.
Certainly, there are those who support DeSantis as a matter of conscience over Donald Trump, but that cohort should be proportionately consistent with the evidence that demonstrates support for Trump over DeSantis.
The outliers (out-liars?) in excess of the proportionate cohort will be the rent seekers, the interlopers and machine party apparachiks groveling for perpetual enrichment as parlor insiders.
Nothing new here, I’m sad to say. Good see their clown society of agonistic asshats are bankrupting their credence at an ever accelerating rate. Perhaps they can somehow turn to Hannity for help.

There’s an inversion because as you have so ably pointed out there has been an inversion of politics. I grew up with Dems being domestic policy focused, and Repubs being foreign policy focused. Now MAGA is domestically focused while the old guard GOPe are left out in 80’s to oughts political realities. When you have 80 year old senators that have been there longer than I’ve been alive maybe you have a problem with the political class being out of touch. The Squad has more alignment with MAGA than the Uni-party big donor class, they dislike the system as much as we do, but are selling radical statism, big green energy, and cultural destruction as an answer. The Dem’s establishment are now global war interventionists supported by Wall Street bankers, no different from where Repubs were, just with the champagne socialism and limo liberalism. This is why we see a Uni-party. The Dems and Repubs are mostly owned by Wall Street, again as Sundance pointed out, not Main Street.
In effect we have 4 political parties representing:
Progressives – minority radical activist positions, CRT, LGBTQ, communism, greens, depopulation, Occupy Wall Street. A real minority of the population, the vast majority of Dems and Repubs just remain silently opposed or summon up what enthusiasm they can muster to parrot the talking points so as to not draw the ire of the mentally ill.
Establishment Democrats – More than willing to let Progressive dogs hunt as long as they don’t have attention drawn to themselves. ie Cowards Happy with FDR statism and the rich getting richer. Corporate stooges.
Establishment Republicans – Happy as long as they get rich and maintain the power to get richer. See Nikki Haley R (Boeing). Don’t want power, the lowliest of grifters, they don’t feign to hold any principles unlike Dem counterparts. Corporate stooges without media support and no backbone.
America First – The actual working people of America. The VAST MAJORITY of born-American and immigrants to this country who just want to live in peace and provide for a family. Probably 75% of America aligns with this position, even some of the ones that came here illegally. (I’m not pro amnesty).
Politics = Pro sportsball. Too much money in it for it to not be corrupt or controlled.
Totes agree on the descriptions especially America First. Living where I do in west Texas, I can attest that many hispanic immigrants, legal and otherwise, love President Trump. I still have my life size cut out of Trump on my door and the only person who ever came up who didn’t like it wasn’t hispanic.

What the numbers indicate to me is: 1) there are a lot of Trump supporters 2) there are not as many Trump stoppers. 3) there is a lot of giant money in the donor class of haters and they have fox to aid and abet the effort 4) Trump supporters do not like the donor class and/or the haters 5) we have discovered the haters were part of the great coup and we will not forget.
Should by some small chase (probably by cheating within repuke party) rds is the nominee, the Trump supporters for the most part will walk away. THEN there will be some very bad things begin the happen. And frankly, it will be the end of the Republic. Every man for himself.
I don’t think the numbers show MAGA as losers. It shows who is backing rds in some degree or another or just looking around. The GOPe cannot win and will win without the MAGA group. And just because the numbers look upside does not mean they are. Trump has always been funded by the small donor.
Some big donors will fund Trump when he is the nominee. Most of these big money types are really cowards and have cooked noodles for spine. They will follow where Trump supporters go.
We all know that fox has the edict out: no Trump. No Trump supporters. EVERYONE, including Tucker will only go so far and then they back off…the check thing ya know. fox pays the salaries, they comply…even Tucker. Trump will expose rds as the rino he was before he was in congress, during congress, and as governor and now as a candidate wanna be. He has lied to his supporters in the run for governor. Once he leaves to run, they will be less supportive.
At this point in time, I don’t see another one but Trump as the nominee after the primaries. Gonna rough and tumble, nasty. But we are in the fight of good v evil. About time we stopped “pretending” there is no such thing as good v evil, dark v light, this is serious business…and sometimes the good people will suffer the consequences of those evil forces…history is riddled with such issues…

They are all on the same team. There is no Republican and Democrat any longer. Why isn’t the stolen election the #1 investigation in Congress? They are ignoring that while they investigate Joe Biden’s supposed documents that he happened to place everywhere. That whole document thing was fabricated so that Congress could claim to be investigating something and wouldn’t have to investigate the stolen election. It will take them two years on the documents, right up until the next stolen election while the 2020 stolen election will never be investigated. Again, please understand that both Republicans and Dems are of one mind on all things and they are not representing us!
Besides that when did Congress start doing all of these investigations instead of working on bills and legislation? There is no one on our side any longer, all compromised and paid off.
