In the Trump -vs- DeSantis storyline the following data points are generally agreed:
♦Approximately 75% of the Big Con “INFLUENCERS” (Big $) and punditry Support Ron DeSantis
♦Approximately 25% of the Small “Influencers” (Small $) and Indy punditry Support Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, amid the voting base the inverse is true:
♦Approximately 25% of the conservative, working-class, base voters support Ron DeSantis
♦Approximately 75% of the conservative, working-class, base voters support Donald Trump
Reconcile this inversion. What does it mean?
As previously noted, this weekend Team DeSantis held an event. “Four Seasons resort in Palm Beach, Florida, including wealthy Republican donors and conservative social-media influencers.”
From my perspective the framework was clear in the middle of last year. This weekend’s gathering in Palm Beach is essentially an outcome of the Billionaire Sea Island group meeting. The Four Seasons event is an assembly of key people those managing Ron DeSantis have organized.
Christina Pushaw has been working on this operation since she entered the orbit of Ron DeSantis. All of the activity is a previously planned series of events. The current emphasis is to enlist the former Cruz Crew in the DeSantis effort.
According to surfacing reports attendees this weekend included: Governors: Kim Reynolds, Kevin Stitt, Bill Lee. Senators Tom Cotton, Mike Lee, Ron Johnson. Congress: Thomas Massie, Chip Roy as well as Adam Laxalt, Jim Lamon and Dana Loesch. All former Cruz Crew members.
About the Inversion – Money is flowing from the billionaire multinational and Wall Street groups (Sea Island folks) into various political action committees, SuperPACs, RGA networks and right-leaning establishment republican think tanks and NGO type political organizations. This is all “stop Trump” money.
The money is being doled out from those political organizations into the BigCon media influence group. The “influencers” are downstream beneficiaries of the Sea Island billionaire cash. The lure of the financial benefits forms the basis of the inversion.
Pushaw is in charge of the cash flow operation; essentially creating an astroturf network to give the illusion of greater support than actually exists.
BigCon has money, but not the majority of the voters. This was the issue that BigCon could not overcome in 2016 with Jeb, Rubio and eventually Cruz.
This time around, the Sea Island group planned more deeply to enlist a single candidate who could put themselves forward as the 2024 MAGA Trump alternative; that’s DeSantis. Then this same group began structuring all of the support systems to overcome the voter hurdle.
However, the Sea Island and supporting BigCon influence group have one major problem. Voters can see and feel astroturf operations, even when it is cleverly disguised as authentic or organic support.
The former ’16 Cruz Crew in combination with the former GOPe ’16 Jeb! Crew form the cornerstone of the DeSantis political support system. Recruiting social media influencers to join that assembly is the job of Christina Pushaw. This is what I noticed in the middle of 2022 and began warning about. This is not at all organic.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ entire narrative as governor, including the anti-wokeism efforts, has been designed to support a previously planned outcome. DeSantis was always going to be elevated as the 2024 non-Trump alternative.
Pushaw is essentially doing an “influence operation” inside the U.S. political system that parallels what was done in Ukraine to install Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It’s not some whacky theory, just look at what they are doing. DeSantis is as controlled and subsequently inauthentic as Zelenskyy and World War Reddit.
That’s why we are seeing this extreme inversion. It’s all about the money.
Remember, in the big picture the Sea Island group doesn’t care who wins the 2024 election, Democrats or Republicans it doesn’t matter, as long as it’s not Trump.
What matters to the Sea Island group is stopping Donald Trump and the America-First platform he represents.
It means the real MAGA Americans have woken up, and won’t be fooled again. I am sick to my stomach when I see the DC players in Ron’s orbit, the politicians (Sassie with Massie) UGH and “conservative commentators” who I thought were in President Trump’s camp. Instead they are eating at the trough of the almighty dollar that has nothing to do with America first. The betrayal of everything good that President Trump brought back to America is something we can’t believe happened and yet every day there are more enemies/influencers and donors who are so out of touch with the rest of us who make up the 75%. I think the polls are not accurate and more and more of the MAGA base is tired of Trumps games. He hasn’t apologized or explained his role in the Covid lockdowns or vaccines.
If he pivots and simply speaks of his love of this country, which is true, he may have a shot again. He puts into action his words.
However, if he caters to the black vote, again, he is toast.

No doubt, but the strategy during primaries next year, within the bounds of what can be legally executed, is paramount. Setting aside ballot harvesting and tainted software we are left with two dynamics.
1) Controlling the set of primary candidates, especially the size of the set. In 2016 the record number of GOP primary candidates worked in Trump’s favor. GOPe did not take Trump seriously and assumed he would only drain votes from Jeb!’s competition with a weak showing before dropping out. In 2024 will GOPe structure the primaries to be The Chosen One vs Trump from the start, with a limited stable of candidates and preplanned attrition? Or will the field be stocked with several Trump clones in an attempt to dilute the Trump vote? (It’s understood that potential candidates are already in strategy sessions to test how to run Me Too campaigns without using the T word.)
2) GOPe can unite to make 2024 Not Trump as policy, but all the money they collect for campaigning and advertising still has to be distributed among many interested parties. Beyond the one unifying principle, all the 501’s and down ticket parties will have their own parochial interests that require funding, not to mention handshake promises made for after the election. That means some degree of dilution. Trump can match GOPe dollar for dollar with or without supporter contributions. He can even choose to outspend GOPe without blinking. That means Trump’s money can be managed and targeted far more efficiently by a small, nimble team than any planned campaign the entrenched interests can purchase.
And do expect the 5th column to blackout Trump campaign news. In 2016 he credited the media for providing more free publicity than he could ever buy. They won’t make that mistake twice.
Or do ratings and profits still count?
Not in this example. I doubt it.
My take is DeSantis is fully on board with the current foreign policy agenda. I think that’s the real reason the deep state hates Trump. They are making worldwide moves and they don’t want a President messing it up. The ruling class are willing to give up some domestic things, like woke and ESG because they see it’s failing anyhow. But they will not give up their wars. Of course, the don’t want a President looking into corruption either.
Ron isn’t a bad man, he’s just weak. He seems to be getting good advice on running Florida. But he’s without ideas of his own, without imagination and he’s bought and paid for. He will not win blacks and suburban women any more than Trump will.
I will vote Trump. If Desantis is the nominee I will write in Trump.

With his bankroll and being a prominent businessman in Arizona he could have been a driving force for the Republicans in the last election. The first thing that came to mind (beyond the obvious influence of money in all of this, the extent of which influence is not only hugely alluring but also pernicious) is what many refer to as the country club, cocktail or dinner party circuit, and the easily-acquired desire, bordering on obsession, to rack-up invites to these oh-so-special fetes where one can be “seen” as an especially important person simply by being present.
I know this fraudulent, social ego-boosting mindset well, as for many years I used to take part in these types of gatherings and festivities frequently when I was younger, and much better looking and richer than I am now. (I went Galt about 20 years ago when the whole scene simply disgusted me, and ever since I’ve never enjoyed life as much)
Not only is the Devil’s whisper of easy money to be had evil and destructive, but so is the all-but-impossible-to-resist human frailty of wanting an elevated and special social status, and “to be liked” by the “important” people.

I would love to see Ron DeSantis on the debate stage with President Trump. I see nothing wrong with Ron DeSantis running as long as he doesn’t have to quit being Florida’s Governor in order to run. I voted for Ron in the 2020 election for Governor, however, if it comes to Ronald vs. Donald in the 2024 election, my vote is for Donald Trump to be the nominee. I am worried about cheating in the primaries, though – especially with mail-in ballots for open primary states. If President Trump is cheated out of being the GOP nominee, I will not vote for Ron DeSantis as president – unless he is endorsed by President Trump.

I still would like to see them on the debate stage together though. I think Ron has to announce he is running by spring? I don’t think Ron will win the primary against Donald unless it is rigged.

DeSantis will grab the social change banner to many ppls’ delights, but who is the right person to truly drain this disgusting swamp we have put in place.
I trust Trump to be most sincere, but we all know without a true voter revolution, that sweeps out the D’s and RINO’s, its a low probablity chance of success. America First (not R or D) should be the yardstick with which to measure candidates: mayor, county exec, city council, county council, commissioners, school board, judges, GOP party precinct officers (easy to win these positions), etc. Go MAGA/America First at the local level and the bigger prizes will come. It’s not sexy, but it works.

My disgust for the main stream right, is intense. We are truly on our own in the battle to Save America.
“Save America” … do it locally. My neighbor to one side of me and I talking over the fence in June 2015 (the day after Trump announced) discovered that we were both America First; and, as Trump was carrying that standard, we threw our support his way. We also made a pact with each other to cajole/persuade/rally our neighbors behind us, across the street in front of us and to the sides of us to join us as America First. Well, we know have a 14 of 15 homes on our street prominently flying the American flag and supporting America First — one hold out has a Ukraine flag on his mailbox (there’s always that 5%!…but even he is beginning to come around as his immediate neighbors tell me). We’ve also captured control of the local GOP precinct that covers our neighborhood (it’s a snap getting precinct officers elected — very few apply and very few others show up to vote). Hey, small steps, but the idea is simple: do what you can do in your immediate surroundings and together all these small victories from neighborhoods across America will add up to be Y-U-U-U-G-E! Oh, I’m an old (if 100 is a full life, I’m in the 4th quarter), straight white male — the embodiment of everything evil — living in very blue Washington State. If my neighbor and I can win small victories here, it should be a whole lot easier for those of you living in very red or purple states to find success in your local surroundings. Good luck! MAGA!

I think this is one of the reasons, a big one, why I choose to focus on local politics….I can influence that…there is less corporate and huge donors to compete. National politics, the Presidency specifically, is unlikely to EVER be influenced by THE PEOPLE voters.

Trump is a “no more war” President. I’m confident he’ll focus on avoiding war, restoring the economy and defeating Climate propaganda, its double standards, waste; and destruction of food and energy will be on his list.
I’m equally confident DeSantis and his Donor’s will keep the crowds smiling by avoiding war talk. The Money People will talk paying down national debt and bringing down prices so you can pay down personal debt and as well, raising the moral standard.
When the war comes to our shore, which it certainly will, the DeSantis group will do a 180 and now we’re back to Trump’s priority which will be the springboard they need to buy a war. Which brings me to something you said last week Sundance.
That there are two ways to repair an economy. One is war the other is new housing starts. Both are financed. by private and corporate Big Money Donor’s. Climate issues will likely become none issues because Climate Everything has destroyed the economy.
In the voting booth it’s (supposed to be) one man one vote. The People are war weary and debt intolerant and border sensitive. Trump has the backs of Border control.
The people who make money from war will vote DeSantis because they want to make money and materials for a housing boom are too expensive for a boom and will likely gaslight Voters regards the war. They’ll campaign on social morals, keeping the law, education, family debt and getting the White House under conservative control.
War and new housing starts do not repair or even fully help the economy. These two matters for the most part, only help the banks. War brings on massive amounts of debt which in turn must be financed. Not only does this weaken the currency but also sucks up large amounts of capital that could fund projects that could actually help the economy.
It could be argued that new housing starts do create wealth, but it also causes inflation due to the way the houses are financed. Due to fractional reserve lending when banks loan money they create most of that money out of thin air. Banks are the institutions responsible for the amount of the money supply. The larger the amount of money in the money supply the less your dollar is worth.
The way to really repair the economy is by; lowering taxes, having sound monetary policy with the gold standard and have the government get the heck out of the way.
It’s ironic that the Uniparty/deep state actors concocted covid to take over our lives permanently yet instead of gaining control they’ve actually lost control. All the rules they applied and used in the great pretending prior to 2020 have now been exposed. They’ve bitten off their nose to spite their face by pulling out all the stops to STOP DJT.
