Ron is not a bad candidate. In fact he’s a great candidate for 2028. But the same voting procedures of 2020 and 2022 are still in place so I am not sure the game isn’t already over.

I’ve been making a point of following his speeches and watching them on Rumble via Right Side Broadcasting. Lately, he’s had 2 very good speeches and enthusiastic crowds. He even asked for audience questions at the end of one speech.

One thing in particular caught my attention:

1) He’s decided how the campaign is going to be run. He stated that he didn’t want “anything” from any one of his audience members, (his supporters). He said he didn’t even want the money; he said he was happy to accept any donations but he didn’t need the money at all. He was proudly self-funded all the way to the end. (That was a bit shocking to me, truthfully.) He had a written speech in front of him but he was mostly “off-script” and quite happy to be that way.

2) He knows NO fear from anything or anyone:
No worries about the Special Prosecutor, the case in NYS, the case in GA. No hubris; just facts.
He is confident that he will be the nominee and he encourages anyone who wants to run, “Join the fun. The more the merrier.”

3) He doesn’t hesitate saying that mistakes were made in his first term. He has learned from his mistakes. He knows who his enemies are and has plans for all of them, when the time is right.

4) When he was pressed by people in the crowd again and again asking him what ‘we can do for you to ensure you win in the Primary and General Elections’?

He stated emphatically, I want all of you to work very hard to make sure that during the ‘election period’ there is no cheating. We will take care of the rest. ‘Realistically, election integrity will not be taken care of until I am in office again and get ready for it.’

5) He also stated (and I have heard this from Steve Miller and others on his team) that “they” have teams educated and prepared to come into DC with him and “take over” in the positions that will be open when he ‘cleans house’.

President Trump is not giving anything to his enemy on this battlefield. He announced early, early for a specific reason AND only Trump knows that reason. ONLY Trump will make the decisions.

The Sea Island Crowd, the Republican Big Club have absolutely NO IDEA what Trump will do or how he will do it and that is why they are putting their money on their best horse at the moment, DeSantis, because they couldn’t find another chump who could play the role of ‘mini-Trump’.

Haven’t read any answers, but thought about your question and will put my reply in terms of school kids, since our “leaders” seem to act an awful lot like children on the playground.

75% of the kids on the playground are rich. They don’t like 25% of the kids who are wearing last years clothes, ride in their mom’s minivan and have to share a bedroom with their sibling.

The rich kids will never have to work. Oh they’ll say they “work,” but they’ll never get their hands dirty or understand what a day’s labor really is.

A day comes when the rich kids watch as someone from the other side becomes rich. They hate the fact someone who should not be rich becomes rich, and the hate the kid who now is “important” like them, especially when they were seen in a minivan. They hate them.

But the 25% of the kids who shared rooms with their siblings, road in their mom’s minivan, and are still wearing last year’s clothes see one of their own breaking into “their” ranks and doing it with style. Some are jealous of the fact they couldn’t or didn’t make it out of the 25%, but most are thrilled that anyone made it out and they cheer that person on.

Rich will support rich and look down on those they find unworthy, unless an unworthy person is willing to lick their boots and do what they want them to do. Rich kids like the people who clean their toilets. That’s Ronny.

Hard workers will support hard workers, even when one of them has a lot more money. Laid my cards on the table over 6 months ago.

Over the 6 months since that time, Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis have cornered the market in paradoxical behavior, actions , words and treatment of each other.

These two are smart and real operators. I just cannot shake a gut feeling these two are playing some sort of very elaborate con on the Uni-Party and GOPe bank rollers to some how meld the unwitting banker rollers with the MAGA Voters.

Then President DeSantis wakes up after “all the votes counted”, some time after 5 November 2024 … its a miracle …. I have seen the light as Saint Donald lays hands to cure him.

For MAGA to have a chance something has to change in the approach in 2024.

I admit this is a wild gut feeling that has zero traction from all we have “seen” and “heard”… setting up that crow BBQ sandwich smothered in Sweet Baby Ray’s Spicy BBQ Sauce … but here it is again.

Unless convicted and sentenced for a crime, Trump will easily win the nomination. Then, the Republican party apparatus will sit on its hands during the general election. Above all, this means that the GOPe will do absolutely nothing to challenge Dem ballot harvesting and other shenanigans.
What I shall be following closely in the general is a variation on split ticketing. If MAGA candidates are consistently losing to Dems down ballot while GOPe candidates are competitive, then we’ll know just how far down the ballot the machinery is rigged. I pray for Trump a lot. I can not imagine how he has survived the ‘slings and arrows’ he is constantly given. I liked DeSantis and still like what he has done for Florida. However, what is going on behind the scenes with him, politically, is not in America’s best interest. When Trump won in 2016 and followed through with his promises, he won a supporter for life. He is older, that is not good, but if he can get a loyal cabinet together (he needs to listen to Navarro or Bannon) and choose a good vice president (Kari Lake), then he will be fine.

I hope Sundance looks into Vivek Ramaswamy. I did some of my own research and he is an Obama 2.0,in that he came out of nowhere. He has no political history – but he is a very smooth talker who says all the right things!

Rather than trying to put it into words I think actions and results speak more loudly. The most recent example being East Palestine. No FEMA, no Pothole Pete, … until Trump shows up. Trump shows the people he cares about them without regards for race or status. DeSantis has a lot of good sound bites, but they are staged and often boring. Who really cares about you shows up in ones actions and the sentiment expressed. DeSantis seems very much like an empty suit when compared to Trump.

For me Trump also showed a great understanding of global financial systems/schemes as well as strong foreign policy positions. This is what makes Trump so dangerous to the elite and their financial interests. Rather than change and benefit from Trump’s positions, they rather fight and make everyone else in the world suffer.

So, this leaves few alternatives to the Big Club: 1) rig an election for DeSantis; 2) attempt a “soft” on Trump DeSantis that becomes a “brokered” offer of guaranteed votes from moderates, independents & RINOs to Trump the way Pence was. This is an incremental way to return the establishment RINOs to power once 4 years of DJT are done. If DJT does not take the DeSantis bait and wins without DeSantis he will establish his own legacy candidates (not RINOs) and possibly his own children. The Big Club DOES NOT WANT several election cycles of MAGA candidates. 3) Give DJT a run for his money with DeSantis, get 4 more years of Biden and knowing both DJT and DeSantis are “canceled” for electability in future races; anoint their next “champion” of their cause: Haley, Noem, Graham, Cruz or Pompeo or whom ever and get on with returning WDC to Big Club control.

First off, none of this matters if we don’t solve the ballot issues. We have a zero shot at winning the presidency but the candidate who has the best shot would be Desantis.
