Let me qualify this post and question by saying this is something I have wanted to ask and write about for quite a while. I often ask this question to people I meet in general life discussion, and I am very interested to hear every response. Today is a great day to ask this…
Think back… So, you are living your life, doing what you and everyone familiar to you are doing in the ordinary and regular way of living your specific life.
Perhaps you paid some attention to the political comings and goings of things, perhaps not.
Perhaps like most comfortably invisible people you were just putting one foot in front of the other, and generally doing the day-to-day things that most would consider ordinary.
Then one day, for some unknown and likely not that consequential reason, something caught your attention. Something piqued your curiosity; perhaps you noticed something you wouldn’t ordinarily have noticed. Perhaps you heard something, or saw something, or were just in a situational space where something itched your brain as you looked at something, heard something or noticed something that just didn’t quite fit or sit right.
Perhaps that little something, or big something, caused you to look just a little bit closer at the story, event or moment with a little more curiosity than before. Perhaps you dug into that specific moment with a little more than a side-eye glance, and you noticed something. After looking at it a little closer, you realized that construct was not at all what it appeared to be on the surface.
From that moment forward, for the first time, you really started to question the ‘thing’ that was in front of you, and from that moment forward, you woke up to recognize that things around you, things you perhaps didn’t pay attention to before, were not what you thought they were. It was from this moment when you really started to pay attention and your political awakening began.
Question: When was that moment for you?
I am always amazed at the replies I get in real life to this question of when the individual awakening began.
For some it was at an early age, for others much later in life. For some it was recently, and for others it was a long time ago. However, for everyone there was that moment when it started, and it is completely unique to the individual.
So, on this day, Sunday February 19, 2023, a generally innocuous day in the grand scheme of things, I pose this question to everyone.
Yes, even all the CTH lurkers who read here and never join the conversation. The comment section is open for all replies with the general rules of on-line decorum still standing. Us old schoolers still use the early internet standards of on-line discussion, and CTH requests polite and civil conversation that enlightens, expands thinking and uplifts the audience.
I am genuinely curious and will be reading every reply because it’s really cool to see what that “moment” was for each person. I’m pretty sure the entire CTH community will also enjoy reading the unique replies to the question.
We all travel a different path. We all come from different, likely comfortably invisible, life experiences. And we all merge into this big melting pot of curious people who are looking deeply at the issues we face. Regardless of how each of us arrived here, the larger dynamic is that we likely share a common curiosity for the reality of our situation. It’s a safe bet to say that almost everyone reading this is in the top-tier of “high information” consumers.
My question is not what arrived you at The Conservative Treehouse, but rather what the moment was when you began looking around and realizing that things just didn’t seem to add up. That’s the origin of the journey. That’s the moment I am inquiring about.
Perhaps it’s a weird way of looking at CTH, but our fellowship is always what has been the most important aspect to this little corner of the internet. It’s not the content of the Treehouse, but the conversation on the porch that matters. You, the readers, friends, people who assemble here, are the important element. Not me and not the site admins.
That’s genuinely the way I have always looked at our fellowship, and that’s also the reason for every detail I put into keeping this little corner of the internet standing.
So, with that in mind, what was that moment in your life when you realized the social, political and/or media narrative, was not at all what it was presented to be?
Love to all,
~ Sundance

During the Clinton era. I actually downloaded the Starr report, read every word and remember saying that it wasn’t the sex that would get him impeached but rather the lying. Then I learned about narcissism and psychopathy. Seeing that clip of HRC laughing about killing Kaddafi, I knew she was disgusting, but that was sick. In my psych education I learned to watch what people do, not what they say. Sometimes you watch both and really take a persons measure… I guess it was in 2013-2014 I read about the psychopathic control grid in global politics. I knew that no good could come of globalization.
Thanks for this, Mary. RE: “the psychopathic control grid in global politics,” any particular titles you would recommend placing under the nose of someone on the fence?
When the red bulbous nose and boney index finger waved defiantly into the White House TV cameras while stating “I did not have sexual relations with that Lewinsky woman”… Lies so easily rolled out of Democrat supporters and RINO power protectors made anyone with a moral belief system want to evaluate past Government involvement (JFK Assassination, Nixon Impeachment efforts…) and, of course, every future Government event.
When Clinton was elected and assembled a gang of liberals in Arkansas to facilitate the ‘transfer of power’, followed by the blue dress and all related events, and finally including the Hillary Clinton method of sure fire investment success. Obama being elected only confirmed the fact that we were headed for serious trouble.
The day a friend of my uncle, who had just returned from Viet Nam said “our military isn’t in charge of that war, the politicians are and they’re losing badly because they don’t care if we die”.
In 1998, listening to Rush with co-workers in work van going to lunch. But it wasn’t until 2015 that Donald Trump really began opening my eyes to the Swamp. And at the same time I began working on my PHD after I stumbled on the Treehouse
I was starting to question our paradigm when George Bush Senior spoke about a NWO in a speech. I was wide awake after 9-11 and the 2000 page Patriot Act just happened to be ready to go.
I remember raising my eyebrows at that, but the significance of it and what he had did to advance it didn’t hit me until years later.
The day PDT was inaugurated. After it was over I called my mom who lived in northern VA. I asked her what she thought of the event (she was a big supporter of PDT). She said “It was lovely and Melania looked fabulous. However, it’s the beginning of the end. Something bad will happen during his presidency.”
I got the call 72 hours later. She had passed away:(
While my mom didn’t go to college she read on average 3 books a week. She was very knowledgeable about history and geopolitics. She owned a small business that did some govt contracting and understood the swamp.
I became an even more voracious reader and follower of politics at that point.
When Obama stated in a campaign speech, “we are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”
Yes!!!!! Very significant.
One of my first port calls decades ago – Mombassa, Kenya. Carrier/embarked airwing was anchored a mile off shore. Found a perch onshore and surveyed the landscape. The carrier dominated the entire visual. At that moment, the lightbulb illuminated and I understood at a gut level I was one spoke in the projection of American power; real, raw, no kidding “you will submit to our will or we will destroy you” power. The cultural contrast between life in Mombassa and the technical complexity of the CVBG was stark. From that point forward I dispensed with whimsical Patriotic slogans and was vigilant in working toward the details/intentions that lay at the roots of American projection of power. The policy mechanics itself – sometimes high minded, sometimes arguably corrupt.
After Rush made his millions selling us Bush Cheney for 20 f ing years , it opened my eyes .
In 88′ I started listening to him, he was more Libertarian and slamming both parties. Then he sold his soul in excahange for a sleepover in the Lincoln bedroom and was all in for Desert Shield and a big Bush the Butcher supporter. After my buddies burned to death I stopped listening to him.
My wakening has been progressive. It started with that smart ass Bush 41 who made my skin crawl. His remark “we’re gonna leave God out of it” when asked who would give the inaugural prayer was my wake up call. The Clinton crime wave cemented it for me. I knew we were toast when Oboingo slimed his way in and B43 proved to be a disaster. Once the election was stolen from Trump I knew we were officially voiceless slaves.
When Sandy Berger was caught smuggling terror-related docs from the National Archives. Read the first news of it in the paper and remember thinking what a story it would turn out to be when all the details come out. The kind of story that would make an investigative reporter’s career. But there was basically nothing after that, media silence. The realization that the 4th estate was under control of the left and only propaganda theater for the masses began then for me.
James Comey was the DOJ lawyer that handled that case and made sure the investigation did not reach the Clintons’ inner circle.
After watching Trump and Prime Minister Abe feeding the fish and then watching NBC news report on it. I was truly amazed at the way they portrayed Trump. At this point I really started to pay attention to the narrative being presented by the mainstream media. So dishonest.
2 things happened in early summer of 2008.
First, I noticed that a lot of houses were up for sale in neighborhoods surrounding the Job Corps center where I worked. A lot more real estate signs in front yards than normal.
Second, a Machine Shop trade instructor advised me to cash out my 401k when he heard that I had given notice and was leaving the job. I was getting ready to move to another state. When I asked why I should cash out the 401k, (I would get hit with penalties for early withdrawal as I was too young to retire at the time) he told me that a massive housing crash was coming soon; retirement funds, stocks, jobs, and pensions would be wiped out. I asked him how he knew this, where did he get this information? He replied that he had friends who were local politicians in Salt Lake City and Davis County . He said they knew what was coming and advised him to do the same with his 401K.
When my wife and I moved to Oklahoma, the job market was better, cost of living more affordable, gas prices were lower, etc. But we also saw the ripple effect of the Great Recession affecting businesses and the job market in our new location. Even temp labor offices were not sending workers out to job sites; very little demand for temp help. The economy was slowing down considerably in our new location. I saw how the large financial institutions were crashing when I did watch the mainstream news. I had the impression that something was very wrong when Barry Obongo ok’d the huge bailout.
A friend who lives San Diego lost a huge chunk of money when her pension took a hit, well over half of it, or so I heard. I was glad I cashed mine out. It kept us from being homeless.
I guess I could say that was my wake-up call.
Early in the GWB era. Read an article/blog/commentary about the DC money machine and how it and the area surrounding it was the highest incomes in the land. Was becoming more and more frustrated with how GOP people would side with Dem’s. So I did some research and looked at censes data over the years on county income. Over time, you could see the rise of DC over places that actually made stuff fell away. The past 2 cycles, 7 of the top 10 counties for income in the USA are around DC. I knew then that there was only one “party” as the GOP and RNC colluded to fleece us and stuff their pockets. The vision on the depth and level of this corruption in the system came when Trump started to expose it. And now we all know its everywhere. Fed, state, county……..sick times.
1971, I was 11. Nixon took us off the gold standard. China, I never understood, even then, why we needed to reach out to China, pretty obvious now why we should not have reached out. Kissinger, when he talked, he gave me the creeps, 11 to 14 was my awakening. thats my story, thanks for inquiring.
During the first Gulf War I started listening to Rush Limbaugh and wondering why no one was being held accountable for anything.
I subscribed to the WSJ for decades. I bought into their position that opening China and inviting them to participate in the world economy was good for them and good for the west. An open chinese economy would bring them more into the world of commerce and they would abandon their communist idealism. My job required me to travel weekly to many American cities and as time went by, I saw the decay of manufacturing and production here in America. I said enough back in the 80’s and frustrated with the politicians for not recognizing this abandonment of American workers as China also became more belligerent rather than more accommodating. The final straw for me was clintons’ election. I was so frustrated with politics, I took the family to DisneyWorld immediately so I would avoid the ‘news’ played incessantly about the the ‘two for one’ POTUS! The ONLY relief since then was DJT! And too short lived.
Yes. Subscribed for 25 years and watched WSJ morph into something I didn’t recognize.
I would have loved to have been around in the early 70s when Bartley took over, hired Wanniski, who was tutored by Mundell and Laffer, all of whom brought supply side economics into the mainstream.
Bartley’s editorial, Down with Big Business, was awarded a Pulitzer.
Bartley’s writing was unparalleled, Jude’s intellect was amply demonstrated in his many correct recommendations for his clients at Polyconomics.
I was a student of his Supply Side University, which led to him asking me if I would be interested in writing some reports for Polyconomics about the goings on in Canada. I remember staring at the computer screen displaying the email… I was gobsmacked.
Planes taking out buildings and crashing into fields only to be totally vaporized….
The awakening started in the late 80’s thanks to Rush Limbaugh. The second term of GW Bush was for me, a dismal failure. Then with the internet really taking off, I started searching for alternative views to the common narrative. In 2007 when Obama was pushed from obscurity, I got my CCL and bought my first handgun. My family thought my views of government were radical. Then DT burst on the political scene. Having read his book “The Art of the Deal”, years prior and a long time admirer and understanding his true views in general, he had my attention and my vote. Then it all started to be exposed. In no small part to sources like The Conservative Treehouse and others I realized my views were not only not radical but had hardly scratched the surface. Now, here we are in the biggest criminal banana republic in the world.
I’d say it was in 3 phases:
1. The 2008 election and preceding “financial crisis”. Seemed manufactured, or at least well timed. Also the one clip of the lady at Obama’s inauguration crying about how she’s never going to have to worry about money again cause now there’s “Obama money” or some such thing. 😳
2. But at that time, I still thought the R’s were the good guys. Not until 2016 and the last few years did I come to realize that none of the DC or “elite/establishment” types (maybe a couple exceptions?) are the good guys.
3. The global and insidious nature of the entire agenda to bring down the USA didn’t become apparent to me until the 2020 election and Covid. It’s both a blessing and a curse to not be able to unsee it.
Sundance, first of all,
Thank You, for all the time and hard work spent on the treehouse.
2008 was the year that I saw clearly through smoke and mirrors of that (s)election and the big club.
2015 I found the treehouse and spend time here every day gaining knowledge.
Went from being:
I just wanted to be left alone,
to an elected school director trying to keep our small town school safe from the woke.
I have been blessed by God with a beautiful family and a wonderful life.
March 2010, during a discussion with a friend he played loose change 2nd edition in the background and something caught my ear so I made him restart the video. All downhill from there
1980 I thought Carter might drive us over the hyperinflation and regulation cliff
Then the 1992 election and installation of the Clinton gang and lawless accomplices.
Then the meteoric rise of the terrorist Ayres’ accolyte and indo-afro nobody in 2006-08.
Then the malicious prosecutions and accomodated rioting from 2012, on.
I started reading Newsweek in high school at the library. The photos of the Kent State massacre did it for me (and I read everything I could about it).
Clinton and Monica. Never kept up with politics till this happened. Been gagging since.
I was aware political machinations certainly since the 1980s but the top down control brought into force during COVID stunned me. I focus on data and the data in early 2020 told me the level of illness was being blown out of proportion and being used to control populations with ridiculous Simon Says commands to the detriment of peoples’ well being. It was psychotic that well known and available effective medications were available and being banned.
As a platoon sergeant in the 82nd Airborne Division, the force projection asset of the DoD, assuming Deployment Readiness Force One status in 1993 during the Clinton military budget slashing policy my M16 did not pass the IG arms room inspection because I had to trade my firing pin and extractor with my privates so their weapon would pass. The supply system was broke and the only unit that could put a Battalion Combat Team on eighteen hours notice, wheels up, on C141s enroute to an objective anywhere in the world could not afford a firing pin. The kicker was in 1999 the VP of the U.S.A. was caught delivering missile secrets to the Chinese and then got away with it. “I am the great and powerful Oz” just did not work for me anymore. Twenty years as a cold war warrior then to come home in 2001 and see the enemy was already here.
Sundance, I was not raised in a political family. My whole life revolved around music and it was music that took me to Romania when I was 18, then to two more communist countries when I was 20 – Hungary and Yugoslavia. In both cases I was very blessed to have tour guides who took the time to tell me what life was like living under communism. (This was back in the mid 1970’s.) I came away learning how bad communism was. Those adventures led me to do lots of reading, particularly in the area of education. I became a registered Republican.
I think the moment I realized that things were not as they seemed was when I heard newly elected REPUBLICAN President George H.W. Bush give his inaugural speech on the “NEW WORLD ORDER.” I was shocked. What was HE doing talking about THAT subject? That did not fit in with our constitutional republic. That was a part of Agenda 21.
But back then, I wasn’t aware of the Uniparty. I still thought in terms of Dems = Commies, Reps = good Americans. I wasn’t aware of just how bad the CIA was. I could not have told you what the CIA actually did, but I thought they were fighting communists, not turning on American citizens.
Even though I voted for George W. Bush over Al Gore, I admit to being very uneasy when Colin Powell got up in front of the UN and told the world how we had to get Bin Ladin, who was in Afghanistan, yet we somehow started a war in IRAQ None of that made sense to me until years later when I learned that going into Iraq was payback for Saddam Hussain walking on GHWB’s face which was tiled on the floor of some building in Iraq. Oh, how many lives were lost, how many of our tax dollars were wasted on that folly which created so many problems for other countries in the Middle East?
I don’t remember how I found CTH, but I remember seeing your avatar on another website I stumbled upon that was supporting Sarah Palin during her 2008 vice presidential campaign created by a host who had previously supported Hillary Clinton.
All I know is that I’m so glad to have found CTH. I share many of your posts with others with the hope that they, too, will be enlightened. So many of the bloggers here are so intelligent and write so very well and are so knowledgeable about so many different topics that I’m one of those lurkers who is content to just read your posts and their comments on a daily basis. Thank you for all you do.
Waco and Ruby Ridge.
Never again.

Definitely Trump’s election. I always paid attention and knew that there were shady dealings with past politicians but Trump’s election opened my eyes to the complete fraud that is our government. The coordination among politicos, media, universities and corporations was astounding. That was the first time for me it became obvious that none of it is natural or spontaneous. I have now come to realize our government is nothing more than a Hollywood crew taking up camp in D.C., it’s all make believe.
My moment was the first time I found Rush on the radio. When he passed, my second moment was upon discovering CTH, for which I am extremely grateful.
O’Bama. I am a reformed Progressive and thought O’Bama’s election was the culmination of events leading to a new era. Then I listened to his race baiting comments. And, credit where credit is due, out of curiosity I started listening to Rush. That was it – my whole outlook was changed and I became Conservative.
It took the “pandemic” with mandates and lockdowns to really red pill me. Oh, and I became an active Christian.
Quite a transformation.
9/11
The phony report by NIST.
Many a Treeper here have read bits and pieces of the development of my worldview over the years.
Second generation to Italian immigrants. Lived upstairs to my grandparents and spent nearly every free moment of time with them. I was taught at a very young age the federal, state and local governments were eerily mirroring the Facista hell they had escaped.
As I became a student, I found myself quite interested in history and especially American history. My eyes opened when I looked past the snippets in my school issued history books and discovered Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson were precisely what my grandfather was telling me about.
An employee asked me to watch a few minutes of Loose Change (on Rumble now) and I learned about building 7 WTF! Then architects and engineers for 911 truth. Researching Obama when he got elected peeled back the onion to the Bushes. All the dots started to connect.

long gone from YouTube I believe…
1980. After reading “A Bright Shining Lie” by Neil Sheehan.
Started to pay attention when I began , at the behest of my brother, listening to Rush Limbaugh. That was 1986. I rarely missed his show or at least, the transcript. To this day, I greatly miss him. When I stumbled across CTH within this past year, I once again fail to miss your articles. I read them with great interest as they point to areas I knew something was wrong but couldn’t put my finger on it. CTH puts the finger on it clearly.
Never paid much attention to politics until the JFK assassination and the Warren Report came out.
Really became aware after I was drafted.
Very discouraged during the Clinton/Obama crime era.
Rush kept me updated and PDJT’s election gave me hope.
When the persecution of PDJT started by the Deep state and media, I became discouraged then outraged.
Except for TCTH, there’s not much hope left.
Sorry for the flag, trigger finger:-(
No problem – – life’s too short to get upset over a red flag!
When Bruce Jenner came out about the time woke ism was born in a small college on the west coast.
Interesting walk down memory lane. I was 17 0r 18 and in our Sunday paper “magazine” insert there happened to be a Q&A asking are you a democrat or republican. I answered the questions overwhelmingly republican. My folks looked at me… nodded and smiled. Growing up on the heels of the Vietnam era suspicions of the media became a gnawing constant. I am now 66. I tried some college but my passion was finding a job I loved in service to others. During that process I experienced affirmative action policies. When I did finally land my dream job and went to work I had to join a union. After the union’s attempt to reshape my thinking by “telling me” I doubled down on my conservative values .Then along came Rush. He gave me such aneducation. I am grateful for his gift. I will always remember Rush’s insight of “follow the money”.
I am saddened today my country’s media is so far off the rails. For the vast great majority of the media there is no honor or truth.
Today is Transfiguration Sunday in my church’s calendar as we head into Lent we place our eyes on HIS eternal Peace, Hope and Love.
After Obama’s re-election where a) Mitt Romney disappeared from campaigning in the last few weeks and b) the day after Sean Hannity did an about face on illegal immigration, live on air, how it wasn’t that bad and we needed to give these people legal status after years of saying the exact opposite. In fact, I noticed everyone at Fox singing the same tune on immigration, like it was an order. That’s when I knew the news and opinion shows were directed, not free flowing reports of actual events or discussion of ideas, but top down propaganda.
I started really paying attention watching the phenomenon of Trump’s 2016 campaign. Having cancelled cable TV in 2011, I used SM, mostly Twitter, for links to news. Why were 20,000 going to a rally? Remember how in those days the media gave him a platform? It was a thrilling victory, defeating the 98% odds. But what really woke me up was the media hate a few months into his term. This had never happened before. What was going on?
I have not rested from seeking the truth since then. I now look at all historical ‘Facts’ with skepticism. What I see are lies to control an outcome at every major turning point in history. The biggest, saddest for me is Sept 11. I no longer use the gov. name, it was created to continually traumatize us. Everything is a lie. From wars, to false flag operations, to so-called holy men. Rush explained NAFTA back in the day, what they wrote into law materialized. The interesting thing is they tell you what they are going to do. The major groundbreaking legislation have all led to the destruction of us. Obamacare anyone? Agenda 2030. No need to list everything here. One more though. The virus hoax was thé biggest factor leading to awareness. My governor would not allow us to buy garden seeds or house paint. She shut down my business by EO. She threatened doctors licenses very early on. It made no sense.
Coming to terms with the lies we have been told has been painful and at times terrifying. We are governed by narcissistic sociopaths. But one blessed day a few months ago, I saw that there is truth. It is in God’s holy scripture. There I find my Lord, his redemption. He knows. He is the way, the truth, and the life.
1996, I started listening to Rush Limbaugh.
When I learned that private banks (not the US treasury)operate as if they owned our money supply. No audits ??????
What was happening to President Trump because he wasn’t a politician. When he said we will not be a socialist Country. I thought the USA would never hah. When he addressed us at his SOTU and said ” They are not after me they are after you and I am in their way”. I could have never imagined the corruption and evil of Politicians.
Thank you Sundance for the Conservative Tree House I have learned so much from your perspective and truths.
High school, northern Calif, 1972. A young teacher overturned a club election result she didn’t like. Suddenly, particular students’ votes “counted more” than others.
It seems I’ve always been interested in politics—even wrote to (and received a great letter from) Barry Goldwater as a teenager. What really opened my eyes was an occasion during a Poly Sci class I had while in college. Congressman John Tunney (CA) was invited to have dinner and speak with my class. He was arrogant and spent half the night telling us about being Ted Kennedy’s roomie in (IIRC) grad school. He spoke little on any issue of importance and proceeded to hit on one of the other girls for the remainder of the evening. It was then that I realized I needed to pay way more attention to who was being elected to represent me.
911 started my journey. At the time I knew everything about Florida State Football and was leaving for a game when 911 happened. My husband and I listened to Rush (first time) in the car on our way to Tallahassee. He was the only one on talk radio we could pick up. By Friday of that week I felt like the stupidest person on the planet. Why would anyone hate us this much? How could our government let this happen? On and on. From then with each piece of information I uncovered I wanted to know more. Had to know more. My “truths” have changed a lot over the years (used to love the Bushes!) and sometimes feel like putting my head back in the sand but then a dot connects to other dots (thanks to people like Sundance and anonymous people on TS) and the lightbulb goes off again and I remember GOD has the plan and this is truly a wonderful time to be alive!!!!!
Can you elaborate as to why this is a wonderful time to be alive? Just curious
“The Lord is near.” Revivals at Asbury and Samford, people waking up, getting right with God. Ed Dowd says he knows atheists in HI who see how evil things have gotten and for the first time they are open to the idea that there is a force for good, the possibility that God is real, if only to offset the evil. He has put a sense of eternity in the human heart (Eccl 3), and hearts are being stirred. Jesus said things would get worse than ever just before he comes back. And that is what we see happening. The Bible speaks of it as “the restoration of all things” (Acts 3). Jackie will have her own take, but that is how I see it. God bless all the farmers — so grateful for you! — and seed-sowers (preachers of the Word) (Mark 4).
We are witnessing the Great Awakening, to GOD and to country. People have to be shown, have to be directly affected before their eyes are opened. I am part of a farming family. As long as the crops were good and they could get that new truck, everything was okay with them. Until the price of fertilizer. We are in the second American Revolution, taking our country back to GOD and family. Cannot say I do not cry sometimes, but this time in history WILL be written about in the history books. I was told a while ago my job is to plant the seeds with my family and friends and then it is up to them. I am finally seeing the results.
But we’re not taking our country back to God and family, hence the perversion in govt and Hollywood, trannies everywhere, etc. I only see the tribulations getting ready and that’s Satans time. Seeing children going thru body mutilation is more than I can bare. I just pray for the Lord to return. Oh and btw, me and hubby have never had new equipment in our 45 yrs of farming 2500 acres of corn and soybeans. New truck yes, but isnt that okay or are we not suppose to cause we’re dumb dirt farmers?? You have to carry seed and fuel somehow. Even my neighbor who works at Walmart has a new truck. Heaven forbid what was he thinking!
Apologizes, did not mean to offend. I in no way think that farmers are dumb. My parents gave me a wonderful life. Just wish my farming family now would farm AND wake up. Sounds like you are both.
As far as the tribulation, I do not believe that GOD put Washington, Jefferson, Frankin and company here at the same time to let Satan win. Julie Greene of JG Ministries makes me believe the One World Order will happen, BUT NOT NOW. Government being exposed, Hollywood being exposed, education system being exposed, EPA, FBI, CIA, etc, being exposed.
I agree with you – planting seeds, shining a new and brighter light – never underestimate whose lives you touch. The smallest things can blossom into magnificent results. Thank you – always fine to meet a fellow traveler!
It was 1974, Boston, I was a freshman in a Catholic high school. The issue was forced busing to “achieve racial integration”. The means was to take working class, ethnic whites from their neighborhoods and bus them to all black schools across town, and vice versa. All ordered by Left elites to shove down the throats of recalcitrant ethnic whites. No issue in my lifetime has risen to the intensity of forced busing in Boston 1974 to 78. All the elements we see today of cancel culture, fake news, bureaucratic elites, non stop agitation were all present, along with outright violence and rioting. It was a complete failure as a social experiment, no racial integration was achieved, but the Left elites doubled and tripled down. The Left lamented that they needed control of all housing to achieve their Nirvana. My parents kept us out of the destroyed public schools. But I had to navigate public transportation to a war zone on the border of a white/ black no man’s land. It was dangerous, sometimes frightening, but the political education from the forced busing experience in Boston was profound. I knew the Left was not interested in spreading the wealth around a bit, or empowering minorities. I knew they wanted complete transformation and control. They would never stop. I was not in the least surprised as the Left marched through our institutions methodically. When they revealed themselves fully in the 2000s I was not caught unawares.
