It was the 2000 Bush/Gore election for me.

I was pretty much a low information voter prior to that. That election had me realizing that something was horribly wrong with our elections. That led to looking into other issues.

I will also say that I didn’t watch news except for the highlight summary in the morning back then (lasted about 5-10 minutes). However, the reason I never watched the news was because I didn’t see it the way they presented it. I felt disconnected…like I was the only one who felt the way I did about events. So I didn’t watch it.

The original Fox News (before they went to the dark side) broke through showing conservative perspectives and gave me a home for a while. I realized I wasn’t alone in my thinking.

The real game changer was the breakout of citizen bloggers. They became the true media (and still are today).

My “light bulb moment” was the Randy Weaver debacle in 1992, where the ef-be-eye went above and beyond, shooting his wife with no justification, and that is being polite. I started listening to Rush and Paul Harvey soon after that, Neal Boortz some years later, in the search for accurate knowledge.

I was always conservative and didn’t really trust the government, but I really had my eyes opened during the Trump impeachment. I saw how really corrupt most of the politicians are. Then came the pandemic. The government response was so nonsensical. My eyes are wide open now.

When I saw what they did to Sarah Palin, and it made their whole “War on Women” a total farce. They didn’t care about women, you had to be the “correct” woman, else we can be total misogynists and sexists toward you.

Then, with BHO, and we couldn’t even raise questions or ask why things seemed amiss–locked college records, locked theses, sermons, Chicago grift–honest reporting was no longer allowed or you were a racist.

A series of “aha” moments:

1. Early 90s (in my late 30s) – I begin to notice the Left’s opposition to common sense on defense, women, “the environment”, artistic standards, but mostly the defense of west – and find myself transitioning away from it all. Begin looking into “forbidden” books by conservatives. Discover Rush et al.
2. Aftermath of 9/11 – the Left’s (and most of Europe’s) refusal to stand with Bush and the US against 7th century fanatic murderers is the final nail in their ideological coffin for me. They are allies of enemies, the distance between us is now an abyss. The MSM is clearly a gaslighting operation.
3. March 2020 – the market is sent to Great Depression levels, supposedly due to “covid19”. Every intuitive braincell screams this is an election year attack on the Trump economy, and that the ascendant Left should never have been allowed such power to pull something like this off. Something’s clearly “not right with the world” from this day on. The number of formerly conscious people falling for the “health emergency” and lockdown nonsense is deeply, deeply disturbing.
4. Aftermath of the Great Election Steal – two huge “aha” moments: first, the desperate hope that it all was a grand Sting operation by PDT withers away, second, the dark realization that the Republican Party was in on the steal and refused to save the Constitution by exposing it ends my 20-year affiliation with the GOP – the biggest wake-up call I’d experienced since watching the Left trying to give the Soviets nuclear dominance.

For me I really began to doubt all things political and social around the time obozo slimed his way into the White House, although I had an intense dislike for the Clintons, John Kerry, AL Gore and McCain. Never cared much for Carter, but to me he didn’t seem outright evil like the others. I started listening regularly to Rush and learned a lot. I started frequenting conservative sites a lot after I had to take a medical retirement and suddenly I had a lot more time on my hands. Somewhere along the line I began to realize that many of those sites weren’t really conservative so much as looking for money; constantly pressuring people to become “VIP subscribers” or other such rot, even going so far as locking the comments section behind a paywall.
But it’s only been in the last few years that I’ve really lost faith in our government. We had a brief respite when Donald Trump got elected, and God bless him for trying, but I really think the rot is too deep, and short of a miracle of God, we’re doomed. What else should I think when someone who’s as obviously corrupt, evil and stupid is carried into office on the shoulders of an equally vile and arrogant media?

My “awakening” came as long ago as childhood. Growing up in a family of FDR New Deal Democrats who would literally believe anything a True Progressive Great Leader told them, notably LBJ. (The women, to be exact, six sisters. Their husbands, almost all combat veterans of WW2 and/or Korea, had entirely different opinions in spite of being Democrats.)

The “ladies” talked a lot about Ike’s “military-industrial complex”, but never mentioned his reference to a “scientific-academic complex” in the same address.

This sort of disconnect caused me to register as a Republican at age 18. I told my mother that she was the one who taught me never to get mixed up with anybody weirder than I was.

When I got to college, my local college two counties over from Ohio University-Athens was constantly being invaded by “activists” from OU-A, led by tenured professors, protesting everything from the B-1 bomber to Ohio not ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment. Not to mention nuclear power, hydroelectric dams, insufficient gun control (their definition of “sufficient” was the death penalty for any legal gun owner), NASA, NATO, the existence of Israel, and on and on and on.

In 1977, I happened to be in Athens on their yearly Halloween trick-or-treat night, otherwise known as “Devil’s Night” because that was when the “concerned progressives” had torchlight parades, rallies, and firebrand speeches on South Bridge right out of a Leni Riefenstahl film.

That was when I saw the local Greenpeace chapter and a lot of their friends marching arm in arm down the main drag chanting “All humans must DIE! All humans must DIE! All humans must DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!”

Buttonholing one, I got the “message” that only the “True Friends of Holy Mother Gaia” deserved to live.

When I graduated (criminology degree) and went to work, at every federally-mandated psych evaluation (we had them every six months), I found that most of the psychologists and psychiatrists hired by the State of Ohio to do the evaluations were all ready to downcheck every sworn officer and even laboratory techs like me. Because “anybody who wants to carry a gun for a living is automatically dangerously insane”. They also were uniformly opposed to not just the death penalty for murder but even more than a couple of years in prison, until the perpetrator “calmed down”.

I found that progressivism, as it’s called today, was and is basically primitivist nihilism in all respects. Their ideal world would look a lot like The Hunger Games, with the “enlightened ones” living in the Capitol and ruling what few peasants they permitted to exist to serve them, who would be living in mud huts. The latter’s existence would be, as the old saying goes, nasty, brutish, and short.

Somehow I just could not support anything like that. And before you ask, while I know the Bible very well (KJV), I have never considered myself to be “adequately religious”. On most such subjects, mark me down as somewhere close to Robert Heinlein or H.Beam Piper.

My life changed on 9/11 or perhaps it was the next couple days afterward, while watching replays of the North Tower collapsing. Those relatively little puffs of what I thought was air coming out of the side of the tower got me curious about the physics of the collapse. Questions weren’t answered immediately, but I eventually discovered Alex Jones as well as Michael Ruppert and his book “Crossing the Rubicon” due to my determination to quell my lingering suspicions about what I had seen with my own ‘lying’ eyes.

1968 student riots at Columbia. I was 18, worked there during the day, took classes at night, lived in an SRO just off campus. I watched what went on and then read what the NYT reported. Holy cow! It was totally different. I knew one of the ringleaders personally. He was a typical rich brat. I was also close to one of the behind-the-scenes organizers. He told me that he was a Communist organizer who had been sent there from organizing coal miners in West Virginia. He had nothing but contempt for both the coal miners and the students. Everyone was just chess pieces to be manipulated in the grand game of creating global chaos.
I got to wondering a few years ago if he was still around. He was a bigwig at the Midwest Academy training community organizers-including Obama. Still creating chaos. Still quietly chortling at the stupidity of “the people,” and the ease of manipulating them.
I had been brought up by my mother–born in 1916–to be an iconoclast. Yet I had never believed her. She was, after all, my mother. What could she possibly know? Mark Twain said it better than I ever could. At that moment, my world changed. I never again believed anything printed in the New York Times, or promulgated by anyone in the mainstream media. I listened to Rush Limbaugh. I saw how everything that he said was distorted. And, many years later, a friend pointed me toward the CTH. Thank you, Sundance!

My awakening began with the LBJ presidency, the war on poverty and war on Vietnam, followed shortly by the Roe v Wade ruling of our “Supreme” court. Sensed that our country was not being run by, We, The People, but by some foreign entity. For my military brothers and sisters, this is not personal criticism-but I think I can say with full confidence that our military leadership has been corrupt since WW1 and has only gotten worse since then. As many of you know, the entire plan-demic was run by our own DOD. Love of money and power is still the root of all evil.

Sharon Rondeau’s Post and Email, World Net Daily, Canada Free Press, Infowars, Dr. Orly Taitz. Andrew Breitbart was killed. False Flag shootings. Summer of 2012 Aurora Colorado movie theater, then December 2012-Sandy Hook. Followed Wolfgang Halbig, I think his name was, a man who lived in Florida that pursued the truth about Sandy Hook. The powers went after him. Dr. James Tracey was taken down. He had a website Memory Hole, I think it was. He worked for a university in Florida. The powers had him taken down and he lost his job there.
Began questioning the truth about vaccines, the Pharma cartel, autism, natural health, etc. around 2013. Had a chiropractor friend who had been speaking out about vaccine injuries to children. Read several books on the topic. Found Barbara Loe Fisher, Dr. Sherry Tenpenny, and then the movie “Vaxxed” was released in 2016. That has been my main focus since then. My husband and I were already supporting and watching The Highwire when the Plandemic hit. I had gone to see Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. speak at Trenton, NJ when the state was trying to remove the religious exemption for vaccines. Saw him speak again at a chiropractor conference. 2019.
oh, and do not forget the Tea Party Movement. Saw James O’Keefe speak at an Tea Party event around 2010, 2011. Went to several rallies in DC. During the Obama years. I was serving on a local school board when the disaster, The Common Core was pushed out onto the education system.

2008/2009 – a co-worker told me about Rush Limbaugh, the rest is history.

During my 20’s when living in California. At that time I clearly perceived changes for the worse, such as the attack on the traditional family. Then there was the overt Satanism of Anton LeVey revealed by researchers to be entrenched within Hollywood, government, and upper levels of society.

When Ronald Reagan was running for president and all the media said he would never win, but he did. Then I began to see that the media tried to “set the agenda” vs “report the agenda”. Following close behind all that was the “fake poll” that was reported in Canada (before I became dual citizen) that said Trudeau would win the election (he ended up winning because stupid people believed the fake poll).

I think it went back to the Great Society. I grew up with people who came from families–you know, a father and a mother and children that lived in the same house, often with grandparents. Then there was the pushing out of fathers and theidea that marriage wasn’t necessary. That festered for several years. Then I lived through Watergate, which at the time I thought was Nixon’s evil but now realize that he was set up by the FBI. Jimmy Carter (praying for peace for him) almost destroyed us with his “fiscal policies” (yes, I remember 18-21% interest rates on credit cards) at a time we were going through difficulties any way. Clinton gave away a lot of our historical employment with NAFTA, which he thought was a feather in his cap, and tried to push HillaryCare (I thought she should have been First Lady not trying to outperform her husband). Something was never quite right about 9/11 but I never could quite put my finger on it until GWB decided to bomb Iraq. The 9/11 attackers were largely from Afghanistan so why Iraq except to avenge his father?
I really started paying attention with the O administration. That’s when the country divided along racial lines. He may have said there’s no white America, there’s no black America there’s only the United States of America but everything he did had a racial motivation, especially his Attorney General. Holder truly ramped up the weaponization of the government against American citizens while proclaiming himself to be Obama’s wingman. 8 years of Obama (the last 4 thanks to the first election integrity violations) divided the country almost as much as the Civil War! There was hope with the election of Trump because he was not a Washington insider but, alas, it didn’t take long before Pence threw General Flynn under the bus with a strong shove from behind by Obama. That was when I became fully awake (not woke like today’s radicals) but able to look at things through rational eyes and to research everything for myself. CoVid was likely Pelosi’s contribution to the destruction of the US Constitution. Everyone wants to blame Joe but he’s a stooge, a puppet, a buffoon who wanted to be President as long as no one looked in the closet for the skeletons. The country is most assuredly majority center right to right and Pelosi knew that. She has her own skeletons and an honest administration can easily uncover them, thus her foray into the destruction of election integrity.
What remains in store for us? That will all depend on how many Americans actually wake up. Those that took the “vaccine” and all of the recommended boosters are only awake if they or a family member or close friend have fallen prey to the evils of the jab. A little late but coercion from employers is a strong motivator. BTW, don’t you like the way the government can say “we didn’t mandate the shots, your employers did”. All the while giving tax breaks to the employers who complied and working to shut down those who didn’t!! Judgement Day is coming.

My mom paid attention to politics and had lively discussions with my Dad. She would say things like people vote their pocketbook. So I began paying attention as a very young adult around 1979.

During my years working with PSYOPS/MI in Central America in 80’s and relating to events being covered in media stateside in regards to what I was involved/witnessing and the actors regarding such events.

Phil Donahue convinced me I was not a liberal back in the mid-70s. Ronald Reagan gave me the reason to register and vote for the first time in 1980. I was 30 years old. So I’ve been following politics for a long time. I think it was the moment in George W Bush’s 2nd term when Rush Limbaugh announced that he would no longer carry anyone’s water. He sounded disgusted with Dubya. I can’t recall for what exactly, but Dubya had been acting like a D instead of an R. That came to mind when I read Sundance’s question.

If I had hoped that moment was an anomaly, it was difficult to avoid all the tells since then. I recall being crushed when Fox News called the election for Biden in Arizona before the polls had closed in 2020. That moment cemented my realization that the social, political and/or media narrative, was not at all what it was presented to be.

When the communists in our school district tried to impose year-round schools in summer to fit in more minorities. Then read the book I told you so by Rush L. Over 30 years ago.

A line you use quite often is that once you see the strings on the marionette, you can never not see them again. Oddly enough. for me it was during the Duke Lacrosse case that I saw the vast difference between the truth and the agenda driven media narrative. Prior to that I had taken an academic interest in news and politics, but I had generally accepted the official accounting of the facts.

However, once I realised how the media and politicians were prepared to cheat and lie, in order to send three young men, who they knew to be innocent, to prison for life, just to support a narrative, the degree to which we are lied to began to become clear.

After that the blinkers were off, and you can see the curators and spin doctors at work in every news story. I can now see not only how bad and dishonest the media is, but also how dark and malign the agenda they are working to protect is.

It was a gradual awakening for me.

Until being guided to this site by a power much greater than myself directed me here to this treasure.

Then the subsequent onslaught of attacks on your true President, and the ceaseless attacks on his beautiful family.

Watching Paul Ryan, McConnell, Romney and most significantly McCain undermine President Trump and his Supporters.

The wife and I drove down to Washington State from British Columbia for President Trumps two rallies in 2016, and was stunned at the monumental support for the man, and the warmth of his supporters.

It seems to come and go in waves, at least for me. A momentary ‘awareness’ as a child when JFK was assassinated, that something was wrong; another awareness during the Vietnam War when friends were being drafted and the ‘domino theory’ seemed absurd; then perhaps decades of ‘silence’ when jobs, family and personal issues put outside issues on the backstage, to be awakened again during 9/11. This latest ‘awakening’ has lasted the longest, strangely starting with an intense dislike for Hillary Clinton, which opened up quite a few avenues of disquiet. And continues to this day with the realization that those in power have made the US dream into the ‘evil empire’ that affects all global politics. Now that I think of it, this last realization actually ties back to the JFK assassination. It’s actually all part of the same issue.

Ah, those moments of clarity. I have had several over the years, moments when something jarred my worldview, a g.. g.. g.. glitch in the Matrix. I don’t always remember specifically caused it, but remember the course correction. 
 
Altamont shook me out of my dazed student stupor and into reality. Something during the Carter presidency woke me up again and I helped elect Reagan. Then something during W’s presidency woke me up, perhaps his support for amnesty, and I saw W as just a continuation of Clinton, McCain and Romney as the officially sanctioned designated losers, and Obama as just a continuation of W, all proceeding with the destruction of the American Middle Class and the Third Way handover of America to China. I abandoned Conservative, Inc., and helped elect Trump. 
 
Then last year, reading Putin’s speeches, reading about Alexander Dugin, and watching the rise of nationalism around the world, I saw the crackpot globalists in decline, the emergence of a new tripolar (US Russia China) or possibly even quadripolar (add India) world and the globalists’ futile efforts to halt the inevitable, and my worldview changed again. Trump is still the only one who gets it.
 
Within the West the fault line is still globalism vs nationalism as opposed to liberal vs conservative. But internationally there is an entirely new layer added on top in the form of Globalist Fascism vs Russian Civilizational Fascism, with China standing on the side saying “let’s you and him fight,” waiting for both to expend themselves.

I was at a used book store in Kalamazoo, MI…. June 2008, I bought a book, Black Lies, White Lies, by Tony Brown. I was 30 and started my first job after I graduated from the PR of UMASS / Amherst.

I was six years old when JFK was murdered. We were sent home from school. Then they murdered his brother. I knew from a young age that something wasn’t right. I didn’t have a Dad, and my Mom was always working. I remember, at around age 8, purposefully watching the news on TV, but couldn’t understand most of the big words. So, I just went about being a kid. Also, I’ll never, ever forget Bill Hemmer calling Arizona for Biden – Wow. I knew for sure, right then, we were screwed; but the 2016 election was pure elation when Trump won.

Before I answer (again) I want to know why lately every single comment I make gets pulled within 5 minutes.

Very simply, I ran across Rush Limbaugh one day on the radio. He talked l like I think and to this day I’m surprised no one banned him. Later, I quit listening because I knew his position before he said it and anger creeped in where humor used to reign. Still, he changed a nation. 1994. And more. May God rest his soul.

I was 10, born and raised in the Chicago area. I watched the riots at the 1968 Democratic Convention. I heard stories about what the rioters were doing to Chicago police. I watched media reports talk about cops being sprayed with oven cleaner and hit with bricks. Then, in a day or two, the media changed the narrative to police were attacking protesters. I knew what happened because we had a friend who worked in the Cook County D.A.’s office who had read the testimony. The media had reported that information. Now they went back on everything they said. Then the raid on the Black Panther headquarters happened. Once again, for the first few days, the media reported the facts. Then the Black Panthers changed the narrative and the lapdog media dutifuly changed their story. We now know the Panthers were running a Heroin operation out of that building. That’s when I knew something was up.

I was born in 85….. they began attempting to indoctrinate me at the usual school age…. Holidays, pledging allegiance to a person, group of people or thing other than the almighty….. my parents encouraged me to think for myself. I guess when I really started to question everything I was about ten. From there forward I got accustomed to nobody agreeing with anything I thought or believed. But the confirmations kept coming. No matter how many times the evidence piled up that I wasn’t wrong about voting being a ruse, about events being coordinated, about flags being false or persons being politically installed, their heads just seemed to be shoved further and further into the sand. Finally the freedom death stroke of covid 19. Now There’re few left that I would ever view as worthy of wasting my breath telling the truth to.
It is nice though to see peoples eyes opening. Too little too late from the human standpoint. But it was always supposed to be so. The Lord wrote it. If man was going to be capable of turning from this then there would be no need for God. And that could never be true. Anymore than He could ever lie.

Things kept building over time, from the CIA/FBI assassinations of JFK, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Ruby Ridge, the Bundy persecutions, the FBI murder of LaVoy Finicum, the “for profit and politics” engagement in the Viet Nam War and all the other wars, Walter Cronkite lying to the public and getting away with it, how both Bill and Hillary Clinton could get away with anything including suspected mafia hits on the many people who had any dirt on them. The TV show “The X Files” became not just sic-fi fiction, but more and more relevant, the communist indoctrination and dumbing down of generations of our children, just like they said they would. I realized that the American people became hostage to the lying media who adore and worship our first muslim/communist president, Obama, who still controls the WH, and culminating in the continuing persecution of 45 and his supporters, the terrorizing and punishment of J6 citizens, and the weaponization of the entire federal government against WE the People.

As for me, I can not pin point a precise event or moment. From the moment I started listening to Rush Limbaugh I became a sceptic of everything both parties do to America, I questioned everything. But It wasn’t until the 2020 election and the events that followed did all doubt disappear. I can no longer convince myself that the US government is protecting the US and the citizens of this country. Both parties and the unelected bureaucrats have destroyed this country from within. Please explain how we get out of this mess? I can’t see voting as a way out.

For me, it was a series of “moments” that convinced me our government was every bit as corrupt as those in Latin America. The first was the Warren Commission. Anyone with half a wit could look at the facts surrounding the Kennedy assasination and know those events were planned. The commission’s “findings” had the unmistakable reek of cow dung, …and still do. I was a 12-year old boy at the time, and even I could see that clearly.

Second was my older brothers coming home from Viet Nam and making me swear to never join the miltary. Not because of any war, but because of the inept (corrupt) politcal leadership that only had the desire to prolong war for the sake of profit. It had made them sick, and they were vocal about it.

Lastly, it was Nixon., but NOT because of Watergate. When he took us off the gold standard I knew, finally, that we were in and adversarial relationship with a runaway government. I have never since viewed events through any other lens.

I have long questioned government and am a bit of an iconoclast. When Obama came onto the scene with the Berlin speech, school children singing songs of praise about him and his Greek columns at his acceptance speech, I realized my father was right. The press does more to select a President than the voters. It has only gone done hill from there. What was done and is being done to President Trump is criminal and very few seem to care.

Watching the media “shape” the Vietnam war. Credit to my eternally skeptical father for pointing out inconsistencies.
