Florida has a “Resign to Run” Law statue meaning DeSantis has to resign as Governor in order to run for POTUS. Of course, the GOP leadership in the state have expressed they want to change the Law. Florida was already a success story when Ron DeSantis took over as governor. All Desantis had to do was to maintain the status quo and make a few tweaks to be successful. If he would have been elected governor of say, New York, Pennsylvania or California and was able to turn one of those states around, then I would be impressed.
Donald Trump on the other hand was able to take a whole country, that was on the ropes, after years of mismanagement and turn it around. He was able to accomplish this with everyone against him even his own party. There really is no comparison between Trump and DeSantis. You don’t bench your star quarterback when the game is on the line.

I have followed Sundance faithfully for years(2 time Trump voter) but this puzzling sniping at De Santis is self-defeating. First, isn’t it very typical that sitting Governors continue to tout their wares while seemingly testing their viability as a Presidential candidate? Is he neglecting any aspect of his own job in the meantime? Haven’t the good citizens of Florida given an overwhelming 19 point endorsement to continue that fight to De Santis? He just had money authorized to continue the exportation of illegals to Blue states which as we know from the howls of execration by the left was most effective in highlighting their hypocrisy!
Second, isn’t the primary process, the tried and true way that the citizens can gauge the readiness of candidates to assume the mantle of President by proving themselves in the hurly burly of debates and a campaign? Didn’t we all relish the fact that the campaign of Jeb was seen as legacy grabbing by an undeserving candidate and so he was summarily rejected? Why can’t we have confidence in our system and in good time the serious candidates will announce when the time is right and then the proving process will work itself out? In the meantime, can anyone seriously doubt that De Santis has an overall excellent track record fighting the culture battle that I feel is THE battle for this country and as such he has the right to put himself out there both indirectly and directly for scrutiny by the the voters? Finally, I feel that Sundance has shown a serious misjudgment when he now quotes the EVIL Emperor himself- -George Soros – -and uses THAT Devil’s quote on De Santis to support his own views on him. That was quite beneath the standard I have come to expect of Sundance. Perhaps we could adopt Reagan’s 11th commandment and direct our fire away from the usual Republican stupid circular firing squad and avoid providing any more smug laughter at us from our REAL enemies- -the insufferable Democrats!!

This “Third rate power” has destroyed the NATO trained and supplied. Ukraine Navy and Airforce, and is in the process of grinding up Ukraine’s second army.
Russia, from every credible source (Non CNN) I have seen. Put losses 20-25,000 between RF, Wagner, DPR,LPR, troops.
