CTH has predicted the most significant political revelation in 2023 will be the exposure of the Washington DC UniParty, and one of the largest moments for this sunlight is going to come with the “debt ceiling” extension.
The background to understand this level of sunlight, comes specifically because 20 House Republicans have taken a stand with bold contrast. Whenever there is a bold contrast situation, the UniParty is exposed because the lavender hues where red and blue overlay is not possible. The House20 have created a situation where Speaker Kevin McCarthy cannot hide, and there are enough MAGA Republicans to expose how the conniving UniParty apparatus really works.
Within the CBS political discussion, Robert Costa puts the upcoming ‘debt ceiling’ discussion into context while revealing how the White House is approaching the issue. Costa is a vested weasel, but what he says in this segment is accurate. Joe Biden will work with Mitch McConnell in the Senate to subvert the House of Representatives, because the House -as structured by the MAGA coalition- is now viewed as the enemy to both the White House and Senate republicans.
OMG, guys, like how lucky are we right now?
You don’t have to guess if Costa is correct on this, because the evidence is already in place. What Costa is describing is exactly how and why the 2023 Omnibus spending bill was put together by the White House, Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer before the Republican control of the House took place. Senate Republicans, led by Mitch McConnell, are structurally aligned with Democrats against the House Republicans.
The CBS panel is essentially having a conversation saying, ‘How lucky are we’ that Mitch McConnell is a Democrat right now? And this is the truest nature of the UniParty in action.
[Transcript, video at 02:21] – MARGARET BRENNAN: Well, I’m glad you bring that up, because the other thing that the departure of the chief of staff raises questions about is this looming policy and political conversation about the debt ceiling.
Who runs point on that? Obviously, the Treasury secretary has a huge role. But in terms of talking to the Hill and the negotiations, who’s doing that if the chief of staff is leaving?
ROBERT COSTA: What I’m told from people inside the West Wing is that President Biden himself has a relationship with Mitch McConnell, the Senate Republican leader, of course, with Chuck Schumer, the Senate Democratic leader.
They are in some ways going to try to cut out Speaker Kevin McCarthy and the House Republicans. There’s not an appetite among Democrats to put spending cuts on the table at all. They would like to see a clean debt limit extension. And Jim Clyburn, one of the top Democrats in the House, recently told me he could see a scenario where centrist House Republicans band together with House Democrats for a clean debt limit extension.
[…] ROBERT COSTA: Privately, I’m told President Biden and Senator McConnell have chuckled behind the scenes with longtime friends about how at this stage in divided government, it’s these two men who have long been friends who are being counted upon to perhaps cut a deal.
I remember, when I first started covering Congress a decade ago, I would remember Vice President Biden was the one…
MARGARET BRENNAN: Yes.
ROBERT COSTA: … who came to the Capitol to meet with Senator McConnell to cut a deal on that so-called fiscal cliff way back then.
So, they have that history, and they were recently in Kentucky together, showing at least, not political solidarity, but in terms of a personal relationship, there’s a real rapport.” Video Prompted:

Absolutely no question- ENEMIES OF WE THE PEOPLE !
This is the PROOF of what we knew when the rinocrats voted to pass the 4100 page pile of S*** !
That $1.7 trillion package amounts to $4,900 per man, woman and child in the US. For a family of 4, that’s almost $20,000. I’m sure that our wise leaders know how to spend that money better than you possibly could, and that you should therefore be grateful to accept that much debt for all those things that they are gleefully spending your money on and that you will not benefit from. \s
The “Proof” of Republicon Duplicity, has been there for all to SEE, since at least 1964.
Its NOT that the Uniparty has done such a great job, of remaining covert and undetectable.
Its that WE, the Republican base have been willfully BLIND, to what was right in front of us all along.
Thank God WE are FINALLY “wising up”;
The Dems are NOTHING, and can achieve NOTHING, without the constant blocking action of their Republicon comrades.
Think football, a runner with the ball; easily tackled, without those running in front, and blocking all those players trying to tackle him.
Take down the Dupliscious RINOS, and MAGA CAN prevail; leave the RINOS standing, and we can NOT prevail, ….it really IS the whole ball of wax.
The most important thing that real, patriotic Republicans can do is to start working IMMEDIATELY on election integrity.
As a result of groups all over the country, like our own Audit NY, we have discovered that the voter rolls are hopelessly corrupted. There are literally millions of phantom voters who should have been removed decades ago.
Unless and until there is election integrity, there is no hope for MAGA.
Unfortunately, judges shoot down any attempts at either electoral reform, or carefully sourced and documented torts exposing election fraud.
You don’t need no stinkin’ judges if you get the legislatures and local administrations under MAGA control.
The citizens let the democrats / GOPe gang have free rein over the state / local entities in key states and they put in their crooked politicians and wrote their own checks……and laws……….that is changing.
The citizens have to keep their guard up in every state to keep the crooked pols out.
Nothing new …… just some states let their guard down and we are paying the price for it…..
The schools / parents need to start teaching civics 101 to every student so every citizen is an expert on the Constitution and election laws.
and “Let’s go Brandon!”
Best thing to do is burn down the Republican Party. Send the message to DC that the people are in charge, and these corruptocrats serve at OUR pleasure, not theirs.
Almost half of the ballots sent out in California for the 2022 midterms are unaccounted for. People like to say we Californians voted for this mess but many of us are convinced we haven’t had a chance to win statewide in 15 years. What happened in 2020 to the nation was first perfected in California in 2008:
https://www.theepochtimes.com/election-integrity-watchdog-finds-california-lost-10-9-million-mail-in-ballots-in-2022-midterms_4996283.html?utm_source=partner&utm_campaign=ZeroHedge&src_src=partner&src_cmp=ZeroHedge
Seneca I’m not sure you’ll see this as it is several hours after your post but can you give an update on Audit NY? Have they been able to convince election boards to actally agree to remove all the ghost voters and illegal voters that Audit NY discovered?
We need to let “centrist House GOP” know they will be primaried.
I’m sure that will worry them. They don’t care about elections. I think that’s been proven lately.
How do you primary a rigged system.
President Biden himself has a relationship with Mitch McConnell
They both work for the CCP.
Gotta split that ten percent two ways … or just skim twenty off the top to start with.
All spending originates in the House, McConnell can pound sand.
The Senate houses bills that came over from the House in the past 12 months. Any of those bills can be gutted, then changed and used as the vessel for a debt ceiling extension.
Obamacare, a spending bill, was constructed in the senate using the 9-11 first responders support bill that was sitting on the shelf in the Senate. The bill was gutted, replaced with Obamacare, then passed and sent back to the House using the reconciliation process.
Yes, technically all spending bills must originate in the House. However, the Senate has formalized a process to subvert this constitutional requirement. So the argument no longer holds merit.
In an odd way, it’s another example of the Silo effect.
Why would’t there be an expiration date on those bills the senate has not passed?
Nevermind, that would require integrity that they don’t have. If there is a way to cheat, they will find it.
I believe Paul Ryan told us the repeal Obamacare had a expiration date. And no bills passed in prior congress could be carried over to the new congress. Was this untrue?
?
All “business” dies, when a “new Congress” takes over, that much is true, I believe.
But that doesn’t prevent the chambers from “shelving” the old and using them at later date. IL has perfected the “shell” bill bait & switch under ex-speaker Madigan’s regime and Gov. Putz-ker has learned it well.
does not work that way legally…just because they have not challenged it does not mean it would hold up were they to do so
If Ryan said it, it was.
that IS correct…if an issue fails to pass before the official term of Congress ends it must begin at the beginning and start the process all over again
Was anything Ryan said true?
Dixie, I like your idea….Time is money in business….
given that ‘business’ works really fast, when ‘profits’ are involved….one would think that in a few weeks of hammering back and forth in the Senate and House, a lot of the info or data to substantiate any items…would be obsolete or approaching obsolescence…
.as all these bills etc, as Sundance once pointed out, are written by lobbyists…to benefit businesses.
So I think a “shelf life” or “best by” date would be a manner of adding accountability. I prefer “expiration date”, it gives more urgency and finality. And would force Congress to stop wasting time.
Just as the 4th pillar of government has nullified the 4th amendment. So much of the Constitution has been nullified by subverting it by the powers that be.
Color me thoroughly frustrated. I thought ALL spending had to be approved by House majority. Is this not correct?
You are correct. We are about to find out who really controls the House.
The House is supposed to concern itself with ‘the people’s business’ meaning money…..????
Clearly this is subverting the will of the American people.
why can’t this be challenged in the supreme court? Or is the court a captured operation as well?
these sunday morning talking heads infuriate me.
“How quaint” says Mitch. “Someone still thinks we consider the will of the people before we act, in unison, to perpetuate our own careers and portfolios.”
Seems then it’s “game, set, match.” McCarthy doesn’t have the stones to whip the Republicans to hold the line. Republicans are basically the same as cats, and we all know you cannot herd cats. All the Dems will vote for the extension and all is needed is a few stray Republicans to vote with them.
Give McCarthy a chance. He may be stronger than he looks. He answers to the good people of Bakersfield, a city made up of Dust Bowl descendants, cowboys and roustabouts. McCarthy has to satisfy some of the toughest voters in California.
Call his District office when you’re pleased with him. Most people, even politicians, respond better to compliments than criticism. Let him know right out of the gate how proud you are of him when he holds the line:
https://kevinmccarthy.house.gov/contact/offices/bakersfield-district-office
his district also includes Ridgecrest where NAS China Lake is housed to test and develop new weapon systems for the USN…..VERY conservative town overall
So Senate rules override the Constitution? Who knew? Wonder why this stripping process subverting the Constitution called “reconciliation” hasn’t been litigated, not that the Supreme Corrupt Court would do anything about it? Probably no one has “standing” a euphemism the Courts use to avoid political or election cases they don’t want to get involved with!
I believe bills not passed into law expire at the end of every two year Congressional Session and must be reintroduced.
The 20 will have to make it clear to McCarthy, he NEVER gets his cajones back, if he allows funny business with “reconcilliation”, which requires House Leadership consent, to pass.
Sundance, didn’t the House pass single topic requirements for all bills and the requirement that the stripped language has to be germane to the original bill?
If so, a single member can object on those grounds to any bill Mitch sends over and that bill can’t move forward. I need to see the final version of the rules. But that is normally how they are structured to prevent just what you are describing.
Let’s hope the Patriot 20 can hold the Speaker’s feet to the floor on all the new rules!
Did I read that some new non-RINO House member is going to try to advance legislation that forbids the gutting and repackaging of bills?
House rules cannot bind Senate actions, and vice versa. That said, as others have noted-including yours truly-even if the Senate gutted and changed a shelved House bill to use as a legislative vehicle to raise the debt limit, I’m pretty sure that changed bill would have to go to a conference committee comprised of the House and Senate.
If no agreement, no debt ceiling limit increase.
I really don’t know if the Founding Father’s realized how hateful the people that were blessed to be in the house of congress could change their ways of thinking in their personal gains.
They were smart but not hateful enough it appears
one of the reasons membership was limited to CITIZENS….is also a reason why POTUS has a higher bar of natural born citizen…..they did not know there would abound evil where those professing citizenship would seek to destroy this country
So if you know that, and I’m assuming House Republicans know that, then it stands to reason that House Republicans can stand tall (barf) and act all macho and try to get spending cut concessions from the Democrats, knowing that Senate Republicans will bail them out with the scenario you laid out.
That about right?
EDIT: But it just occurred to me that those changes would require a conference committee between the House and the Senate, wouldn’t it?
I believe you are correct. If the House doesn’t go for what the Senate sends them, it goes to conference committee. The conference committees would normally be comprised of the senior members of the standing committees that originated the legislation.
That is what I thought as well.
Doesn’t a reconciliation bill still have go through the committee process? Doesn’t the committee still have to vote on it before it gets a floor vote?
Not unlike how Chy-Na Mitch nominated and Real President had to Advise and Consent.
Is the House able to defund?
The ole Deem and Pass (aka. Demon Pass ).
Congress needs to treat the FILTHY SENATE, like the enemy. Defund The Beast.
“Defund (or Starve) The Beast.”
It’s an oldie but a goodie.
Lord, if it be thy will, grant me the opportunity to see Thy judgement on these vile whores and thieves, who mock goodness and honour and steal and pillage and do all manner of unspeakable evil.
I pray, in the name of Thy Son, my Lord and Savour Jesus Christ
Amen
Amen.
Yes. ‘Tis time for some holy smiting.
Every House GOP rep who goes in front of a camera, should look straight at it and proclaim, “Americans, I want you to know the Dems and many of my own party are telling you right now they are going to take more of your money and that of your kids. They are hoping you don’t even know what a debt ceiling is but to those who do, they are saying, “Neener, neener, neener, stop us if you can…you CAN’T! We can make money, print money any old time we want. We can STEAL YOUR MONEY WHENEVER WE WANT, YOU IDIOTS!”
Every gop member of the House should have loads of manure dropped in their yds, rotten eggs, melon rinds, dirt clods, etc.
The planned for this. Eggs are too expensive!
Same as it ever was
Donald J. Trump
Please, I’m begging you, do not run as a republican. We’ll write you in.
Or, Trump switches to Constitution Party and asks his followers to do the same. Then a big effort to get Constitution Party on ballot in all 50 states.
Trump would easily have the support to qualify for the debates. The Uniparty would be doing splodey-headed back flips to get the rules changed.
the game is RIGGED…..after 50 years of “two party rule” the two pretend parties have gamed the system such that it is nearly impossible to qualify for all 50 state ballots without membership in one of them
When I read this article at the end of December I hoped the new House Republican majority would have the guts to do this, but figured they’d just roll over as usual.
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2022/12/omnibus_fraud.html
FTA: The 117th United States Congress has exceeded their authority past their term limit by usurping the authority of the 118th Congress.
Once the 117th Congress has been succeeded in the New Year, they no longer meet, they no longer legislate, they are history. The same is true of their bills becoming laws. Constitutionally, this means appropriations bills can’t extend past their time in office. Otherwise, they are legislating extra officium.
Better sit down and contemplate that and get back to us.
NOT True……FY time frame is 1 Oct – 30 Sep the following year….normally used in the budget process but all appropriation bills still track the SAME path….still does not change the fact the Omnibus is UNCONSTITUTIONAL
Is there some kind of a rule where you couldn’t do a revised budget for the year?
Hold out on debt ceiling and redo a budget.
What’s a budget?
Slightly off topic…but Dolly Parton released a new song today for her 77th Birthday that God had revealed to her in a dream:
“Don’t Make Me Have To Come Down There”
Last night I had a dream about God
He was standing on a mountain top
Looking down, around in such dismay
And in my dream I heard him say
Don’t make me have to come down there
My children, you had best beware
If you don’t pay attention, consequences will be dire
Don’t make me have to come down there
I’ve told you time and time again
You can’t disobey and hope to win
I am still the boss here in case there’s any doubt
You know I put you in this world and I can take you out
Don’t make me have to come down there
You’ve always been my cross to bear
I’ve let you try my patience as all good Fathers do
You’re on my last nerve, I have had it up to here with you
I gave you a book, you didn’t read it
I gave you my word, you didn’t heed it
Gave you a map, you said you didn’t need it
And now you’ve lost direction and you’re wandering aimlessly
Don’t make me have to come down there
This is not a game of truth or dare
Now I don’t want to punish you, but if it has to be
This is gonna hurt you more than it hurts me
Don’t make me have to come down there
Bridge this great divide and make repairs
Go to your room and pray ’til you can learn to play fair
Don’t make me have to come down there
Politics, earthquakes, erratic weather
Pandemics, war, and hate
Turn a deaf ear, a blind eye; I am wondering whether
I should take my Bible belt and whip you into shape
Don’t make me have to come down there
My children you had best beware
Clean up this mess and put on something decent to wear
Don’t make me have to come down there
Don’t make me have to come down there
My children you had best beware
Why can’t you learn to listen, and learn to love and share
Don’t make me have to come down there
Don’t make me have to come down there
Don’t make me come down there
Don’t make me have to come down there
Don’t make me, don’t make me
Don’t make me have to come down there
Don’t make me have to come down there
Don’t make me come down there
Don’t make me have to come down there
Don’t make me, don’t make me
Don’t make me have to come down there…
The children of Fatima were also told by Our Lady, that her Son is angered and she could only restrain his arm for so much longer…or something to that effect…And that was in 1918 or so….
The world has become far more evil since then…
I very easily believe the divine intervention in Dolly’s dream.
I always wondered why she turned down the Presidential Medal of Freedom…
And THIS is why it never made a damn bit of difference whether the (R)s took the Senate or not.
And why does Kentucky keep electing him? That is the problem…..
He is well past his ‘use by’ date.
He also is reported to ignore/not respond to emails from citizens unless they are his constituents.
He’s the Republican put forward to the people.
Kentucky didn’t.
Because here in Frankfort it’s a rigged game…..sort of how our idiot Governor was “elected”.
I suggest putting a Democrat in his position. Truly, with McTurdle’s allegiance to certain foreign factions, you couldn’t be much worse off.
how do we know is elected by the people of Kentucky?
Didn’t PTrump endorse him in 2020?
and this is why McConnell allowed enough Democrat Senators to be ‘Installed’ to keep him in the Minority which also gives him cover of not passing anything the House Republicans want….As we all know McConnell makes more money being in the minority and Selling his and his Rhino votes to the highest(Globalist) bidder……..
And should they find themselves in the majority, Republican senators sit on their hands complaining they don’t have 60 votes. The quid pro quo for making money as the minority is to be the firewall for the Uniparty agenda when they’re the majority.
After two years of destroying Americans ability to produce income and spending trillions of dollars we didn’t have the incoming Republican house are being blamed by the uniparty for the debt ceiling and possible loss of social security.
Remember what George Carlin said, they’re coming after your retirement and they’re going to get it.
McConnell’s lackey Republican Senators have the smallest minds and the selfishest sousl and the cowardliest hearts that God makes.
Yet another lie, the time it takes to write and pass a bill.
When its something THEY want, its AMASING how fast they can move, something WE want,..”Sorry, can’t happen!”
America now has so many comorbidities that I’ve lost count.
The first one to eliminate, is Ukraine. Cut off the alimony.
Gosh, I could do this all night…..
Fat cats, sewer rats, a few of deese, and a lot of dats…
Yes, all true. (Not like we haven’t heard any of this before, as in say the last 10 years. ‘They’ll be exposed this time. Everyone will see them for the hypocrites they are for sure! Then, … something will happen!’
And it will continue.
Why? Because conservatives are a non-entity in this country politically speaking.
Look at the left. Their activists think up and then agitate for specific agenda items. They do this relentlessly until they get what they want. The left doesn’t forgive or forget when their own politicians screw them, and of course, that is rare.
Our side? The best we can do is go online to comments sections and b***h about media hypocrisy and how the RINOs screw us yet again. Then, when voting time comes, we (well not me) go with our tails between our legs and vote for the same RINOs we were crying about two months before, and we do that AFTER sending more money to the GOP, which exists solely to fundraise off fud which they help create.
The left has put together one helluva machine – they have a massive online presence, they’ve built activism pipelines, they know how to use a combination of misinformation, intimidation, victim-playing and outright fraud and violence to get their way.
Us? We have a handful of tepidly conservative ‘media’ organizations, who are only good at one thing: crying about MSM hypocrisy. Otherwise, all we have is a number of small conservative blogs that stay small because they are either all over the map in terms of the issues they try to address, or they go down rabbit holes chasing down unproveable conspiracy theories (which may well be facts, but good luck proving it – pizzagate anyone?).
Leftists are true believers – many of them do what they do for food money. Our side is one big grift machine – see the Tea Party, alt-media (nonstop barrage of prepper adverts) and a donor class that always expects something in return for their donations, often at taxpayer expense.
Until we embrace social engineering, until we quit mindlessly parroting 50-year old conservative saws about the Constitution and free markets and until we start really using our brains in terms of activism, things will only get worse. It really isn’t hard.
As was shown in Germany, a small number of activists / true believers can control / dominate a far lager number of people making them irrelevant.
Many people are shocked when i tell them the NSDAP only ever got 37% of the vote.
And only about 3% of the population were actually members of the Nazi Party.
And just like that, it took a few examples made of their neighbors to silence them into submission.
I will say it, we are collective cowards.
Years in the making. The result of the Left’s Long March Through the Institutions for ultimate control.
Yeah, but the GOP has had plenty of chances to break the results of that march in a few strokes – e.g. when Trump won and we gave him all the marbles. They just mess up, ALL of them, from Trump with his terrible HR picks, to cowardly GOP reps.
Thankfully, he doesn’t have many more years left. He’s an evil, self serving, POS!
Thick as Theives. I think President Trump is sorry he helped save Mitch McConnell’s reelection campaign. The man deserves the brig.
President Trump had to work with DC scum.
How is this not clear?
DeSantis shills don’t know that DC is very different from FL?
But while Trump is using SC scum — because clearly he must — he HAS said he regrets McConnell endorsement. President Trump doesn’t repent often.
Listen when he does…
Robert Costa- I remember, when I first started covering Congress a decade ago, I would remember Vice President Biden was the one…
This kid has never known anything but the Uniparty. I still have T shirts older than this guy and he is an expert 9n how Congress should work?
1 Sam. 17:45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47 Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”
Please G-d, please send us some Davids
Frankly, I’m surprised to find a MSM host discussing this openly – even in sorta hushed terms. They must have realized that the normies either support this bullshyt “cooperation”, or simply don’t care.
What consequences have given them reason to pause?
And yet there’s plenty of folks telling us there’s no need for a third party, that it would split blah, blah, blah, blah!
Meanwhile how many decades gave they been waiting and hoping for dirty Mitch and the republicans to come around.
Senate Leader Magoo is as dirty as Biden. He certainly cant stand Americans and he ain’t coming around.
A third party would split the income….donations would be reduced.
President Trump doesn’t recommend a third party for a reason…
isn’t that reason obvious if you’re smart enough to be on CTH?
I liked a woman who used to appear on Bannon’s War Room… Fog City Midge? Is that her name? Could be wrong.
She ended up in AZ debating Cenk Uyger with some guy from Patriot Party.
Most of their arguments were good. But I was put off immediately when the only thing they agreed with Cenk was that Trump was FUNDED BY BIG PHARMA.
Honey. Sweetie. Trump dominated Big Pharma (except maybe the jab)
He managed to lower insulin prices without being owned.
It’s so insulting to see the Left and the Idiot Right join in perfect stupid unity
MORONS. The Patriot Party as well as Baboon Logic Cenk.
3rd parties split the vote — and they’re so often lacking any facts
The only thing that can stop the spending is a constitutional amendment prohibiting the Senate from amending, in any manner or form, a spending bill originating in the House. They only can do an up and down vote, and must do it within thirty days.
Something does not make sense. Why is there even a public demand to pass an increase in the debt limit if it is already a done deal?
If the Senate can just do what it wants with this, why would the White House be pushing immediate action on the debt ceiling?
I believe the House MUST HAVE THE POWER TO STOP THIS or nobody would raise a fuss.
There is no doubt that they will increase the debt ceiling. We all know that. But there is no reason for the House republicans to accept nothing in return…again. Just go through the $1.7 trillion dollar deal Mitch agreed to rush through at the end of last year and make a list of all of the nonsensical things in it that the vast majority of Americans oppose, and cut those. Make the democrats argue for why they would rather “shut down the government” than cut funding for 87,000 more IRS agents.
We’re being herded toward controlled demolition, ever harder.
Have you noticed? The runaway government overspending and debt are accelerating.
Like watching a full-throttle runaway train, and the end of the line is coming up fast.
One of the manifold synergistic elements of the 100 Year Plan, executing to subdue the US as part of raising China to global dominance (The Art of War – Sun Tzu):
1. Biowarfare: Covid virus+shots system, many more genetic manipulation shots coming fast, also in the blood supply, in the food supply (livestock injections).
2. Subversion of petrodollar hegemony.
3. Runaway debt.
4. Energy strangulation > high inflation.
5. Degrading the electric power grid.
6. General economic decimation.
7. Forcing EVs to cripple the transportation system over time.
8. Depletion of US weapons.
9. Weakening of US military.
10. Subversion of the Bill of Rights.
11. Growth of the surveillance police state.
12. Destruction of the family.
13. Corrosion of education.
14. Identity class Marxism.
15. Anti-meritocracy “equity”.
16. Growth of hostility and distrust of authorities and others.
17. Deindustrialization.
18. Replacement of skilled workforce with unskilled illegal immigrants.
19. Middle class collapse.
20. Fentanyl epidemic fed by China raw materials pipeline.
21. Proxy war which may become declared war, ending civil liberties and destroying the young adult generation with conscription > more forced injections with bioweapons.
All working together.
Nothing to see here, go about your lives citizens. Enjoy your bread and circuses.
Ugh. I just McConnelled in my mouth.
Ugh, now me too. I have a very sensitive mcconnell reflex
The house committee on rules? controls what goes to floor for a vote.
If the debt limit deal doesn’t come out of committee then Clyburn, ChiCom Mitch & Creepy Groper Joe can resort to giving each other a hand job.
McCarthy better have all Republicans tow the line in the house and vote in unison against this. Do I think he will? Probably not, his track record speaks for itself
Meanwhile, back at the “Extraordinary Measures” ranch of the Treasury Department, has anyone noticed that the “debt ceiling” has been broached 10 times already? I thought it was a ceiling.
In years before, when we we getting close to the debt ceiling the Treasury Department would take “extraordinary measures” to keep it under the debt ceiling. This mostly meant just robbing government pension funds and other sources to “temporarily” fund government and keep from going over the ceiling while Congress did their usual grandstanding and bickering.
This happened again, but not like folks are being told. The “extraordinary measures” took place from the beginning of the 1st fiscal quarter to the present, but that did not keep us from going over the ceiling debt limit like all previous times. We’ve gone over the limit 10 times since the 1st time on November 30th, 2022.
The Treasury’s extraordinary measures kept the 2023 fiscal 1st quarter’s deficit to only $ 227 Billion. 1st day of reported debt for the 1st quarter (10/3/22) was $31.123 Trillion and on 1/3/23 the debt was 31.351 Trillion. Yup, we’re suppose to believe the 1st quarter only added $227 Billion to the debt–Ha!
But here’s the problem–November 30th the debt was $31.413 Trillion. That’s over the limit! The debt ceiling set by Congress in December 2021 is $31.381 Trillion. And the debt has been over the limit 9 times since 12/30/22, including the the last 5 days reported in a row. It stood at $31.455 Trillion on the latest day (1/19/23) reported by the Treasury Departments ‘Debt to the Penny’ site.
Never before when we’ve had a “debt ceiling crisis” has the Treasury Department report a higher debt than the limit. They’ve just shown the limit and stated they are running out of “extraordinary measures” (robbing Paul to pay Peter or just straight out lies) to not go over limit and default.
So what makes this “ceiling crisis” different from the others in that the Treasury Department already shows us way over the supposed ceiling and just now Yellen is talking about taking ‘extraordinary measures’ to keep the government from going over the limit in the next few months?
We’re over the limit/ceiling right now!
Oh well, I guess it is the new woke math, the new pretending trend, or ‘sumting’ like that! Or maybe someone forgot to tell old Bob Finkelstein, way deep in the bowels of the accounting department at Treasury, to quit adding real debt figures to the ‘public spreadsheet’.
I have a question: While I agree that sunlight is the best disinfectant, evidently, Mitch McConnell (nor any other DC Republicans) does not care or at least, doesn’t seem at all concerned about the revelation that DE Republicans have been allies with the Democrats for decades.
Mitch and the crew simply do not care. What does that tell us?
Is that a ‘Rinotorical’ question?
Elections are simulations.
Total kabuki-Potemkin Village imagery.
That’s the bad news.
The good news is people are finally starting to wake up to that fact.
Vampires no longer fear sunlight
McCarthy will marshal the RINO votes necessary to pass the Debt Ceiling. He’ll say all the right things publicly knowing the charade has already been settled on.
The Speaker debate was fun but this is what happens after.
Defunding the DOJ, CIA and FBI is not a workable solution since 1% of the earth’s population has more money than all the rest put together, and it’s called Vanguard. Nor is the debt ceiling deal. Because social security and medicare are on the block.
Vanguard would simply supply the required money through NGOs to the DOJ, CIA and FBI. So once again, shutting down the DOJ, CIA and FBI is the only way, since defunding is not a serious deterrent for Vanguard.
The only remaining solution for dealing with the DOJ, CIA and FBI is with two forms of war, civil or military.
We have a foundational problem.
Here it is – the FBI, DOJ and CIA do not need the funding from the U.S. taxpayer. Funding would just be redirected by Vanguard.
So you tell me, who is really “The fourth branch of government” ?
Who Runs The World? Blackrock and Vanguard
By Bill Sardi
April 21, 2021
Bloomberg calls BlackRock “The fourth branch of government”, because it’s the only private agency that closely works with the central banks. BlackRock lends money to the central bank but it’s also the advisor. It also develops the software the central bank uses. Many BlackRock employees were in the White House with Bush and Obama. Its CEO. Larry Fink can count on a warm welcome from leaders and politicians. Not so strange, if you know that he is the front man of the ruling company but Larry Fink does not pull the strings himself.
BlackRock, itself is also owned by shareholders. Who are those shareholders? We come to a strange conclusion. The biggest shareholder is Vanguard. But now he gets murky. Vanguard is a private company and we cannot see who the shareholders are. The elite who own Vanguard apparently do not like being in the spotlight but of course they cannot hide from who is willing to dig.
“Forbes, the most famous business magazine says that in March 2020, there were 2,095 billionaires in the world. This means that Vanguard is owned by the richest families in the world. If we research their history, we see that they have always been the wealthiest. Some of them, even before the start of the Industrial Revolution, because their history is so interesting and extensive, I will make a sequel.”

If I had to guess it’s the same people who also own the Federal Reserve…..
Under Trump didn’t the Dept of Treasury but all the Federal Reserve Debt?
The time is coming when the traitors to We the People will be held accountable as traitors always have been.
Model the two time lines for having sufficient pro-America First in Congress vs Deep State active politicians, considering election change overs, election corruption and Chi-Com influence that can control the change in the USS America ship of State.
Detail that the light at the end of this corrupt Deep State (including all 4th/5th States — and those like Mitch-the-Bitch (of the Chi-Coms) tunnel is achievable?
Only accountability, in their and our lifetime counts. Personal and direct.
His day is coming!
Unfortunately, after he’s dead. Sure wish some payback would happen on this side of eternity.
“[…] ROBERT COSTA: Privately, I’m told President Biden and Senator McConnell have chuckled behind the scenes with longtime friends about how at this stage in divided government, it’s these two men who have long been friends who are being counted upon to perhaps cut a deal.”
Who the hell are these “long time friends” with whom these demons are “chuckling”?!
If the average U.S taxpayer could understand this, they’d be pissed:
Let’s see, using the chart below, our $31.5 TRILLION “ceiling” would be 19,876 miles into space using stacks of $100 bills, or 1.988 million miles into space, 8 times the distance to the moon, using stacks of $1 bills.
spit.
It would be great to figure out a way to retire McConnell.
Should be The Greenville News, not The State paper
This article fits in with my thoughts that McConnell is the de facto Vice President of the United States.
“teh geys”………always the liberaltarian, left wing Catholic………the gey uniparty is the progressive/liberaltarian Republicans and Democrats.
Wouldn’t Trump have known what a lying conniving traitor the old turtle was before he endorsed him? Why would he have done that, and helped him extend his reign of terror? He is the worst of the worst. It’s so frustrating that we are stuck with these a$$clowns. We have to pray that the people of Kentucky placing their votes can finally wise up to him. Ballot harvest til your hands bleed Kentucky. He absolutely has to go. I wish it would be under God’s divine intervention of Justice, but I feel we won’t be so lucky. He’s 1 enemy I have a hard time praying for.
Think he has 4 more years in office.
Did you know that there was a lot of Democrat “election denying” over The Turdle’s win in KY ?
