Curious news about Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop, aka ‘The Twitter’, surfaces as the social media company announces that to save money, they will shut down the Sacramento data center and substantially downsize the Atlanta data center.
Oddly enough, the Atlanta data center is in the same regional complex as Georgia Tech University, which is the same university under U.S. government contract (think Rodney Joffe and the Trump-Russia Alfa Bank hoax) for cybersecurity research efforts.
[NOTE: Shortly after Twitter expanded its data center in Atlanta, on Nov 29, 2016, Georgia Tech received a $17.3 million contract from the U.S. Dept of Defense for “cybersecurity” research. Three days later, Georgia Tech announced new collaboration with China’s Tianjin U, which hosts the APT hacker groups and is a partner of China Telecom and Huawei. Funny that, and you already know my suspicions, so I digress.]
(Data Center Dynamics) – Twitter is shutting down its data center in Sacramento, and will downsize its facility in Atlanta, Platformer’s Zoë Schiffer reports. The decision was previously rumored in November.
The company operates three main facilities in the US, with its remaining site in Portland, Oregon, expected to take the increased load. It is not clear if Twitter has done an analysis of the migration and whether the remaining servers can handle the load – when the Sacramento data center collapsed in September it caused a system outage. The move is expected to happen as soon as early January.
Twitter also has cloud contracts with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, but new owner Elon Musk is believed to be trying to renegotiate the contracts and cut expenses.
At the same time, he said that he plans to release new services that will require more storage and compute, including long-form high resolution video.
Former Twitter employee Sasha Solomon, who was fired after tweeting “sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” about Musk’s acquisition, responded to the data center closure report with: “Omfg like good luck when a failover needs to happen. So excited to see what 1-ish data center can do with all of Twitter’s traffic.” (read more)
This downsizing and reorganization of the background data-processing is happening at the same time the Daily Mail is discussing the financial viability of Twitter [SEE HERE].
Now, I don’t want to go down that rabbit hole again, but if Elon Musk was notified the US Govt was no longer going to subsidize the extreme data processing costs (coffee making), due to a lessening of the ‘national security partnership‘ per se’, then wouldn’t it make sense to start shutting down and downsizing costly data centers.
Just sayin’.
It’s a great time to be alive!
Life is good. God is good.
Faith, not fear.
Amen Seneca Amen
It is a PHENOMINAL time to be alive, watching history unfold, with a TITANIC, existential battle between Good and Evil, God and Satan, play out before us!
The outcome is foretold, and certain, but how we GET to that outcome, is fascinating to watch!
If we’ve ever learned Christ’s teaching of Faith and Works … we need it now. Because the Works don’t appear to be saving us … only Faith will.
if you are performing “works” without Christ’s guidance ofc they are not going to work…..we are called to heed the sound of His voice and “follow Him”…..if you are operating independently of His wishes then not only are the works in vain but He is denied the Glory
The laws have changed, now the weaponized agencies access your mobile phone.
No need to get you to post your inner thoughts on a public site.
Now, the law allows them to read all your personal contacts
Which they were doing previously, the sheep just didn’t know it.
that sheep herd is a lot smaller now thanks to Trump and the minority that was already awake. thank the Lord….
So much for warrants and all that dirty stuff!
And all of us here at CTH can see the strings now…

That the DOD is sleeping with the enemy … … … again?
DOD, Georgia Tech and China, a menage a trois ?
Gov. Kemp is in Davos taking care of everything “Georgia”; doncha know.
He’s doing it all for Georgians.
What’s her name$ ?
Fang Fang Bang Bang
Don’t forget Fart Fart!
Name is Skippy and it’s not a her it’s a 13 y/o boy
Lol! I remember when a politician would get thrown out of office if they were caught with “a dead woman or a living boy”.
Kinky Friedman says: “All politicians should serve 2 terms; one in office and one in prison.”
Reminds me of the expression, “Politicians and diapers should be changed often and for the same reason.”
Dead woman + Morning Joe = Mika
ouch!
“Look under the desk”
More likely he’s doing it TO all Georgians, Abigail…and the rest.
That’s true, since he was Georgia Secretary of State and cut a deal to bring in Dominion machines.
He and Raffensberger have been a bit successful walking the political tightrope; but there will be a day of reckoning, when Brian and Brad least expect it.
They are not going to be able to keep things wrapped up this tight forever, especially when PDJT moves in with his campaign effort…he’s starting off in South Carolina on the 28th…
I have always thought when I see pictures of him that the only thing Raffensberger is missing is a Nazi uniform. And a riding crop.
He unnerves me.
Good instinct! Wise Woman.
I always think of Raffensberger as the brains of that unscrupulous duo.
Kemp, on the other hand, looks like his dumb sidekick, always doing as he’s told.
In terms of corruption, Raffensberger is competitive with any Democrat. IMHO Kemp was just a good ole boy that found himself way out of his depth. He got bamboozled by the Chinese and bought the Dominion machines. When all the funny stuff happened in the 2020 election, he said he’d investigate it. A day later his daughter’s boyfriend got incinerated in a car “accident” where the car exploded with such a force that it threw the engine block about 30 yards away. Later, the SBI agent investigating the incident also mysterious died. Kemp never said a word since.
In 2022 Kemp and Raffensberger won easily, yet Hershel Walker (not a great senate candidate but still a local football hero) lost to Biden rubber stamper Warnock. If 70% of the country thinks the nation is going in the wrong direction and the majority of the state voted Republican except for the senate race, then that doesn’t pass the smell test either.
For two weeks I full-time doorknocked for Herschel Walker…trust me, he won both elections…the first time by more than Kemp won.
I listened to Herschel. He would have been an incredible Senator. He would have worked for the people of Georgia.
Herschel is life smart, with an honest heart, and I’m sure would have fought their corner in every way.
He had righteous principles, as anyone with an ounce of sense could observe during the election process. The slimy efforts to destroy him were for nought. He faced the accusations full on and shamed everyone who tried to smear him.(That act by Rs and Ds, by the way, is getting moldy.)
He wouldn’t be bullied or cowed. A good indication he couldn’t be bought either…and the Big Club simply couldn’t have that.
Yes, he won fair and square. I believe it as I believe the sun rises in the morning. He didn’t lose…the people of Georgia, good or otherwise, lost in the worst possible way.
Fair point. Walker does have the right heart and courage as well as the competitive drive to be successful. He may not be the best person to run point on solving complex legislative issues, but my comment about “best candidate” came across more derogatory than it should have.
The greater point in which we agree is that the devil went down to GA looking for some votes to steal…and he’s still here…alive and well and cheating up a storm. We do NOT have a fair and accurate representation of the will of the people in GA in our elections.
Kemp a good ole boy?
I agree completely…except for the “good”. Over his head is exactly what I believe as well. His silence in that awful tragedy spoke more than any words he could have offered.
Holmes’s dog that didn’t bark in the night…
Yes, B, silence can speak loudly. And in this case with Kemp, it certainly did.
Don’t know how he sleeps at night…
I have often thought the same about the nazi uniform for so many other corrupt individuals.
Here’s who I pictured in a nazi uniform just from the Trump Russia frameup fraud:
Brennon
Clapper
Rosenstein
Comey
Strock
Page
Weissman
Apparently, Klaus Schwab’s father was a nazi so I guess we may not be far off in our thinking.
Call them what you want. Nazi is a name. By any name, I believe they are part of a captured govt apparatus attempting to destroy our country from within.
There are examples at the fed, state and local levels.
Former NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio’s birthname is Warren Wilhelm (sp?).
Don’t forget HAYDEN !
Schwab’s father was indeed a Nazi. Rosenstein has that same look. It’s his forced, insincere “smile”. Both he and Raffensberger have the look of people born with essential pieces missing. Consider Rachel Wallensky is Rosenstein’s sister.
I rest my case.
The Swamp is preparing.

That reckoning can’t come soon enough!
If you want to dance, you have to pay the Piper.
Or another way: “You shall reap what you sow.” Galatians 6:7
The ones near Russia?
he had to go to Switzerland to complain about Slo Joe and Mayorkas’s OPEN border…..no word on why nary a peep in the country or the state of GA on the issue before he left
I say “hogwash.” It’s infuriating and embarrassing for him to be a speaker at the elite club, says born/raised Georgian.
Just face it, they all think the rest of us are stupid.
Yes they do and that just proves how dumb and short-sighted “they” are.
Backfire time.
We are all stupid, present company excluded. Normies remain happily unaware as the post their entire lives on line.
Which we can use to our advantage!
More like a Devil’s Triangle.
TWTR is not a real business. May be the largest write-down in history for Musk. Win big, lose big. But people will pay. I’m glad Elon carries.
Trump wrote down his debts for decades!
Elon will never pay US federal income tax again.
If he wants to use his wealth to take down the Deep State and throw some major sand, then God Bless him!
And he shouldn’t…
Is there any of these puppet strings that don’t lead to Chinese puppet masters? Seems every week now another area of Chinese control is exposed.
Milley and XI’s Generals are BFF.
“C’mon’ Man,”they’re our friends.”
Puke!
That’s a really good thing; every week, more exposure.
Great news and step 1 in starting to eliminate the large databases that a few communist use to control freedom loving citizens.
Without the large databases they are just a small cadre of communists hiding behind their gated communities around the world.
We have to devolve back to dis-jointed files.
A practical man and a determined one.
Interesting that he chose to move it all to Portland. I am again going to try and read Mr. Musk’s intents.
California’s power grid is flakey. And San Fransickos going down the tubes.
Portland is located in a state, that for now, has abundant power thanks to hydroelectric dams. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see the HQ for the Twit move there too. Real estate is cheaper, and there’s an abundant number of tech savvy workers. And he doesn’t need to use the downtown area, the outlying suburban cities have abundant tech friendly industrial parks just begging for clients.
I would lmao if he did. Sticking a finger in Newsom’s eye and all the woke employees watching their jobs go north would be a very happy thing for me.
Portland is an Antifa pit.
I was thinking the same thing, Lorrie. Portland is to San Francisco (San Jose) as Detroit is to Chicago. Portland is well on its way to lawlessness and depravity.
Don’t forget the legalization of hard drugs over there!
Yuup, and a studio apartment is only $1,200 a month I’ve heard from a friend who lived there her whole life. Robberies are going wild, and nobody goes to jail either…so good luck with Portand.
Undoubtedly. One of the reasons we moved out before we retired. The suburban areas are still relatively free of the antifleas, but that’s because downtown Portland is where all the political critters still congregate and all the city, county and federal government offices are.
They are just attracted to those kinds of places.
Whose motto is “Keep Portland Weird.”
Did you know that if only a million republicans would move to OR they could flip the state permanently? It is a beautiful state.
The state is beautiful, but the weather is not.
Not true.
You don’t shovel rain.
And the people don’t like outsiders.
To be honest… had the GOP in California did it’s job, it would have been very competitive for Pres. Trump. But the State GOP here just literally sat on it’s hands and tacitly aided the Democrats!
Cali Republicans are Democrats
What GOP? All three or four of them?
some just continue in ignorance by choice…..CA has more actual conservative voters than any state EXCEPT TX…….get away from the coastal corridor of mainly N LA – SF where a majority of the population resides you have not only one of the most beautiful states but one on the MOST conservative areas in the nation……interior and N CA have been seeking to separate themselves from the Sacramento led coalition of Dimm/commie/GOPe pols for DECADES
I still believe PDJT WON CA in 2020 if you remove all the election and voter fraud……8M illegal aliens registered to vote through Clinton’s Motor-Voter do throw out a LOT of illegal ballots….this is before discussing ballot “harvesting” or the vote shifting/miscounting by the Chinese owned DOMINION election system machines
It is a lovely state, but I never could adjust to the politics so left to come home about 19 years ago.
There’s nothing beautiful about Garbageville / Riot-town / Plywood District / Boulder City! It’s a hellhole. I should know, I’ve been here for over 60 years!
Meth, strip bars, pot shops, murders…..the democrat politicians and the lunatics living here, many moving up from Californicate have destroyed it
I first read this as “tip” the state – like “tip it over!”
That’s what our brilliant Hank Johnson Rep for GA said about the island of Guam. 😂😂😂
Georgia has lots of embarrassing politicians nowadays.
portland (hillsboror) has a massive undersea high speed cable (two in fact) that transits the pacific. domestic conus terra cable is relatively cheap to access from near anywhere…..but location is everything when you need to have global coverage and low latency. this was not just a choice based on any city…it was smart to utilize one of the world’s highest speed networks that spans the entire pacific to other high speed global hubs.
God Bless America
Guessing that using the remaining location in Oregon as a stopgap measure
until he facilitates moving everything to Texas with SpaceX and Tesla.
I’m in Redmond, WA (having left Portland after decades) and there is a nice SpaceX facility almost in walking distance. A nice suburban area.
Indeed, but his HQ for both space and golfcarts are now in Tejas.
I agree; and I live in Sacramento county.
As one of the few CTH folks who lives in SF… what will really make the Electrically Grid go down here is eliminating Gas Heating. That’s on top of the other problems this city has self-inflicted upon itself!
All new buildings in SF have to use Electric… and we have had Brown Outs repeatedly in the non-Downtown areas. And during the recent storms full on outages.
Wow. Back in the sixties my Grandma and uncle lived there, and I heard it was beautiful. I’ve never visited but always wanted to. Now the thought scares me.
My brother in law used to travel all over the world. Back in the 80s-90s doing sales.
San Fran was his #2 favorite city for being beautiful back then.
#1? Vancouver.
Wanted to visit Vancouver ever since. Now, it’s off my bucket list. San Fransisco
left the list over 20 years ago.
Bankruptcy is a powerful tool.
Now let’s try it on the USA. Intentionally default. No increase in the debt ceiling!
MAGA.
If Twitter can’t afford itself then I have to wonder how Truth Social is making it. Aren’t the data costs the worst issue?
It appears thats happening, as there doesn’t seem to be any movement toward an increase…
Just unplug it, Elon. You’d be doing everyone a favor if the Twitter bird stopped tweeting.
Agreed! Pull the plug!
Do any of you see a merger happening in the future? I wonder where Elon could find an honest partner in the social media business?
yes…the best decision that elon could make (imho) is to divide twitter into several division companies. He’s done this successfully before ..many times.
he can sell off the dogs or keep them as tax avoidance (legal), and keep the divisions that actually make money…
Of course, the SEC/FTC will reach down with some strained dubious charge of anti compete or some such thing.
but this company is going DOWN. it’s obvious to me that advertisers have withdrawn seeing there is no ability to money launder anymore.
I think I have read if twitter sold today it would go for something like 10-15 Billion. He paid (and private investors, who are definitely thinking of cutting losses) 42 Billion. You can cut costs all you want, but that does not improve the bottom line when you can’t show a profit and are losing about 1 billion dollars each quarter.
it was always going to be a not so safe bet. Elon has the entire DS/IC and that radical crazy left rat commie breed of tech giants who want to see him fail and simply by removing advertisers and funding OTHER social media companies, they can and will effectively two block twitter.
He should just restructure the entire company. At least in this way, he can stil have financial and direct control without the blood spilling out over and making the problem worse by having the public sentiment that this was a failure.
It would also be helpful if President Trump could find a way to reset his truth contracts and get back on twitter. And not just to rescue twitter by breathing much needed oxygen back into the main stream. President Trump needs to reestablish himself in a larger social media platform. Social is not going to do that for him.
these are only my opinion.
God Bless America
President Trump would be the most honest of them all.
“It is not clear if Twitter has done an analysis of the migration and whether the remaining servers can handle the load”
I’m amazed people get paid to write this crap.
Bob, these are the same people who believe the border is secure and that if a man puts on a dress and declares himself a woman- he is now a woman.
I have always hated Ga Tech. It was implanted as part of my UGA welcome kit and orientation.
But, knowing they are so severely infested with Chicom money. And they paid Joffe makes me want to lobby our Ga Legislature to re allocate their funding to other engineer schools in GA.
Glory, glory, glory to Georgia. And to a hell with Ga Tech.
Do It!
Lobby GA Legislature.
Kemp and Raffensberger are going to end up paying bigly for what they did and are doing.
That pesky cell phone, so smart and versatile, a veritable computer that can link the user around the world in less than 60 seconds! With this tool most governments know they have lost great power to technology, power to control citizens unless there is control over conversations and other communications.
Elon Musk, a dynamic leader within the tech world! He is not afraid of this reality. He knows how our American government wants to control access by everyday citizens to information that those in government don’t want known.
Where would cops be without criminals? They kinda go together. How easy is it for a cop (think FBI) to cross over into the criminal world? Cops learn the ins and outs of crime while on the job, do they not? In one door out the other, so to speak.
And those former FBI cops who worked in Twitter’s central core…smiling all the way as they did the bidding of those government agencies who sought various controls. Freedom of speech…not today pal!
See that dark shadow off stage, hiding next to the curtains? It is not James Brown, it is Michelle. Will she allow Barack to push her out to center stage? You know old 10% Joe is working a deal: He keeps his wealth, but retires to his Corvette and that garage with his German Shepard who likes to bite people, as Hunter fakes everyone with his Daddy games.
Portland is a hell hole, a democrat enclave where voting citizens march in lock step as their city slowly dies from within. My hunch is that Musk will leave this city after he gets his ducks lined up via Twitter’s issues. And yet…the Clintons still live and ole Bill really is not a fan of any Obama, nor is Hillary. Would these two liars go after Michelle and her man?
We have 18 months till the games get really real. In 12 months we should see the games the democrats seek to play and who they will put up as their leaders for the voters. I think Barack will stay in the warm waters of Hawaii, Bill will let Hillary go out and play anywhere he isn’t. Gov. Newsom is the white Barack– smooth talker, great liar wanna be.
Climate change is the stick…I don’t see any carrots coming from the democrats outside of socialism. And that is not a carrot. Illegals join the homeless in America as the new slaves, only they don’t know it…yet! Wait till you add up the monies being spent and promised to help these people destroy the very notion of capitalism.
Freebies, who doesn’t like’m? Then again, there is nothing free except that first drug hit on the road to addiction! Are we there yet?
If grade schools are fine with “drag shows” how far behind is the television commercial where Bill and Monica sell the benefits of using Listerine mouthwash?
Thankfully, I have not watched television in years so I won’t be seeing that commercial!
….but if Elon Musk was notified the US Govt was no longer going to subsidize the extreme data processing costs (coffee making), due to a lessening of the ‘national security partnership‘ per se’, then wouldn’t it make sense to start shutting down and downsizing costly data centers.
Note to Sundance and the crew: It’s info like this that I would PAY for. And I’m a cheap son-of-a-gun.
Kudos amigos!
I can 7nderstand that, but I am a disabled grandmother on a very tiny disability check. I can’t afford to ‘pay for the coffee’, so to speak. There is only so much dollar I have to stretch. I gave up reading on sites Ike Townhall (which has slipped in quality anyway) and American Thinker, among a few others when they got greedy and hid their comments section behind a paywall.
🚨Given that this is a topic I have first hand experience with I’ll share what I know. HP and Dell are two of the larger primary suppliers of Tier 3 data center modular containers. These usually consist of a design where they basically have a giant warehouse and the modular aspect comes in through the use of 40’ shipping containers that are loaded top to bottom with 20 racks of the highest density blade chassis servers available. They utilize one of three types of cooling being either water cooled fan coils, adiabatic (hence the northeastern site selection where outside air is used to cool when the enthalpy is within range), or through concentric piping to the Columbia River and/or tributaries. It’s been around 10 years since I first walked into one and at that time each container was capable of a max power output of 1 megawatt. That’s a ton of power consumption when factoring in 100’s of containers under one roof. For instance the one I was tethered to for a few years up in Chicago had 3 Con-Edison power yards on site to facilitate that power load. Just the makeup water usage for the water towers on the roof was so overwhelming to the surrounding suburb of Addison that it drastically affected the ability for residential users to maintain tap pressure until a new water tower could be installed.
Sundance eluded to this and just to reiterate Atlanta is a very atypical location for a tier 3 type facility like this because of a number of reasons. Tropical storms, climate, etc. Chicago was too for that matter. But in the latter case a contractor from my area was building that facility for themselves to be a collocation provider. While still under construction Microsoft somehow caught wind of it and payed an undisclosed sum of money to purchase it way before completion. The places you most frequently find tier 3 facilities are the central east coast, Iowa, Kansas, Colorado, and Washington state. Missouri where I’m at for example doesn’t really qualify because of the potential of New Madrid fault line earthquakes. The last major one in 1812 actually made the Mississippi River run backwards for two days and the aftershocks lasted for over a year.
Another thing I distinctly remember the HO guys on that job talking about was some supercomputer facilities in the Atlanta region and I don’t remember which college it belonged to but the mere fact it was a college stunned me. For what it’s worth Musk made a wise business decision here at least from what I know topically about the details.
The data center in Georgia should be completely shuttered if it’s connected to this government in any way especially if they were involved in fraud.
Which they were.
As were the Governor and Secretary of State, among others.
Speaking of shuttered… CNN’s Atlanta headquarters closing.
And now the CDC may leave Atlanta. ??
Was Greg Phillips running out of GaTech with some mules stuff or do I have this wrong?
Did FBI scrape/buy/use twitter geo data and did GPhillips also buy/use twitter geo data? …Maybe even pull in some FBI (phone based) geo data and heat tracks?
I don’t the the FBI ought to be able have control of money like that. No wonder they’re corrupt.
Was it the brother of the GA SOS who worked for one of those big China telecoms?
Gotta give Elon credit although still waiting for the Dr. Tony Mengele Twitter release.
Makes sense, for sure.
PORTLAND OREGON IS TWITTER’S ONLY REMAINING DATA CENTER??!!! hahahahahahahahahahahaha
Garbageville / Riot-town would be the last place anyone would want to put a secured data facility!!
Random violence and destruction happens here all the time. If the Antifa Fascists ever got wind of exactly where in their hometown it is, it would be toast hahahaha!
If Twitter is loosing its contractor status as well as ACCESS to those data centers … the real question is WHO is going to assume their use, UNDER FEDERAL CONTRACT??
This spawns another interesting question … what were the termination clauses in Twitters contract with the Federal Government??
These are legitimate questions for the House Oversight Committee to ask, by the way.
Was the govt. in on this too…whatever happened to the Fauci Files? Did I miss them? Didn’t Elon claim they were coming soon and would reveal his criminality??
WW3 is being declared this week, so nothing really matters
https://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/news_210690.htm
Your headline is a far stretch from what the actual article states.
Who will the feds partner with next, or have they already partnered ‘cuz they ain’t going away.
“The U.S. technology system, the assembled massive system of connected databases and server networks, is the operating infrastructure that offsets the cost of Twitter to run their own servers and database. The backbone of Twitter is the United States government.”
The same is likely true for all the Big Tech companies. Isn’t it strange that most people never talk about Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes and his role in designing specific social technology that got Obama elected: https://www.businessinsider.com/henry-blodget-how-facebook-co-founder-chris-hughes-got-barack-obama-elected-2009-6
Russell Brand nails it again…
| NEED ANYMORE PROOF?! |
“The Twitter Files revealed the level of the Deep State’s influence on social media companies to curate our reality. When it comes to our view of Covid, it seems, they would do whatever it takes, even removing “often true content”. This has gone NEXT LEVEL.”
It’s actually Georgia Institute of Technology–not university. Like MIT with a southern drawl, but with a football team (albeit not a very good one as of late) and sadly, just as woke as its northern counterpart and possibly more so.
Some of us alums have tried to get some answers from the school regarding the whole Trump-Alfa Bank research debacle but have been stonewalled with curt denials. The whole thing does smell of an unethical and likely illegal quid pro quo.
I used to have a sense of pride in being an Eagle scout, a former Navy officer, and a helluva engineer from Georgia Tech, but alas, the left has destroyed all of these institutions. Anyway, in the grand scheme, it’s all rubbish compared to knowing Jesus Christ.
Great end to your post, …
in fact, a great “stand alone” line, or “sign off”;
“Anyway, in the grand scheme, its all rubbish compared to knowing Jesus Christ.”
I LOVE it!
Hat tip to the apostle Paul (Phil 3:8).
DM Elon. See what he says
Is Elon doing further “housecleaning”, cutting ties with unsavory influencers, or both?
When the Twitter files started to be released, it became quite apparent that on top of Magic Coffee, Jack spent much more effort into controlling what coffee each patron could get.
Indeed, if you look at the number of different ways they could control who got which coffee bean, it should be quite apparent that is where most of the computing resources go. Indeed, it is clear that the system was not set up to distribute coffee as much as it was set up to control coffee distribution.
Massively wasteful of computing resources. But it will take a major effort to reprogram it all to remove the micro control over censorship. If that is what Musk wants. Afterall, he has said some censorship is necesarry. And despite firing so many censors, there are many reports of the censoring continuing.
My thought precisely. While I understand the need for massive, redundant servers, I’m going to speculate that a large part of the tesourses required were to do the shadowbanning, the censoring, the searches of content by the content “moderators”. Without as much of that overhead, I wonder if Elon hasn’t found himself with a lot of redundancy.
All this while the country via deepstate puppet joe biden goes to the darkside of h–l.
While “rome”burns the data centers continue to hum the tune of the sinking of the titanic.
Pssst…..Sasha, demand should be reduced by the load of noisy bots currently being exterminated.
So he brings in his team of real programmers who can easily cut the costs of a transaction by bundling rogue RPC calls because they aren’t a bunch of ideological hack developers whose expertise is spaghetti wiring other peoples repos together., starts releasing tons of damning data from within it’s guts but he is still referenced as Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop?? Just how is he being told he can’t do this or that like the bold implication is here. None of this would have been released if the armchair pundits of this board were to be believed. Yet it was. Imagine that. He i a slippery character. Just when you have him nailed as a deep state shill he just up and does things totally out of character that actually antagonizes those he is supposed to be an ally of. It is just silly and the domain of gossipmongers and the perfect defeating the good crowd..
Randy: “..still referenced as Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop??”
Considering the many posts and some threads here and elsewhere about how Twitter is STILL shadowbanning, today; how is it not appropriate to call it Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop?
When the shenanigans stop, that’s when I would no longer think of it that way.
If he’s “cleaning house”, he still has a ways to go.
That’s my take on it.
Oh, such a shame.
Right out in the open. Right in our faces.
Spot on, Sundance.
And remember world – Elon Musk can only make money when he is given billions in Tax Payer subsidies… Twitter is obviously not being funded by taxpayers so Elon is on his own. We will see if the richest smartest man ever can remain the richest smartest man ever without Taxpayers…
And sometimes you have to step back, regroup and go in a different direction when the situation warrants it! If Mr. Musk wants to eliminate the gubmnt from his operations, then he needs a complete renovation of the platform and a different business model, doesn’t he?
If this were a house, a building, a structure, that is what I would do. Pull out the old rotten wood, the structural components that have been corrupted or do not work, and rebuild starting with only the solid viable components.
God Bless Elon Musk! I can’t say I trust him, but I certain hope he is doing right things for right reasons.
Companies should NOT try to save money!!!Their purpose is to pay a hefty salary and insurance benefits to support a family of four, or however large a family you have!!!! Says the Lefties.
It’s a tough time to get beans from the Fed. Keep brewing EM. One Americana with Wisconsin cream!
Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
Did the govt. cut the money, so Elon shut down the data centers,….. or vice versa?
I was kicked off Twitter yesterday for a week for nothing, so the banning is alive and well.
Its reported Twitter has lost 50% of its advertisers, so I understand why they have to cut back. Also, the company suffers from “bloat” – it’s not necessary to have all the employees – not for a database driven operation.
Overall, I’m pleased with the changes going on, but their are still “the Woke” on the platform who get their panties in a wad, if you say something they consider “racist or hateful,” which seems to be everything.
