Fox News host Tucker Carlson delivered a speech in Arizona at AmFest yesterday that hits home for many people. [Direct Rumble Link, at 02:21:46] If you have not watched his full speech, I recommend it and will embed at the bottom of this post.
In part of Tucker’s unscripted remarks, a discussion about this current moment in the lifecycle of life’s storm and cultural chaos, Carlson noted his need to go silent for a few days and reflect on the bigger picture of our situation. For me, that part of his discussion rang very familiar and perhaps, based entirely on my instinct that many are feeling the same sense of unease and trepidation, it is worthy to share why.
I was born a person of natural curiosity; intensely so.
Orderliness, natural alignment and the bigger principles of universal balance in all things, have always been important to me. When things are chaotic and out of balance, my general inclination is to ask why.
What is happening that creates this imbalance, an imbalance ultimately from truth?
The natural order of things is so much a part of my instinctual makeup that as a young child my maternal grandfather once said and wrote to me, “son, you were born with an incurable case of curiosity, and someday it might kill you.”
Later in life I discovered the nature of that conversation stemmed from an episode where I refused to accept being taught imbalanced rules at school. My worried and intensely patient mom sought advice from her father, my granddad, in a letter I later discovered in his well-worn satchel of mementos.
Turning a phrase my mom wrote, “Dear dad, we are attempting to tame the shrewd“… Apparently, my childhood sense of curiosity was loved and cherished, but also worrisome in the way that only a mother’s wisdom could assess.
Granddad replied with a comforting dispatch to my exasperated mom, and then appeared in person a week later to help lend some practical support to my parent’s efforts.
In this context, ‘practical’ meant me and grandpa on a week-long fishing and camping trip right in the middle of the school year. The timing was why that specific visit imprinted so memorably, yet the purpose remained unknown to me until much later in life.
From grandpa’s conversations I learned there are natural laws and basic rules in this universal thing we call life. They are seeded within us, deep into our souls, from the miracle of birth and creation. We inherently know things, we sense things, and it is only as an outcome of immersion in the world of unnatural laws and man-made rules, that we begin to be disconnected from them.
This is the God factor in life, the thing that is bigger than ourselves, that various religions and philosophers have noted and discussed.
At birth we know right from wrong. We are born with an instinctual knowledge that hurting others is bad and helping others is good. We know from birth the difference between true and false, this is the part that caused the immediate issue with my younger self questioning the school learning.
My 11-year-old self was worrying that we were losing catch bait time that second morning, meanwhile grandpa was frustratingly and mysteriously ambivalent about the sunrise.
Instead, my scruffy hero in life said to me while boiling coffee, there are natural states of existence, natural instincts, that transcend learned outcomes and consequences.
Touch fire and get burned is a learned outcome, knowing the difference between right and wrong, between love and anger, is not.
In essence, if you follow the natural flow of things, you arrive to realize that “emotions are not learned; we are born with them.”
Think about that deeply. Emotions are not learned; we are born with them… The implications are enormous.
“Penguins are birds that needed to swim, not fly, so they evolved wings into flippers, but man’s emotions were present from day one and never wavered.” Odd, breakfast conversation. Then comes a cuss word which always drew my grins and attention. “We also know all about four factors of energy, the two nuclear sciences, fusion and fission, hell we are reliant on the third, electromagnetic, yet we have no damned clue how the gravity one works.”
Yup, there’s me standing, listening, a cast net in one hand and bucket in the other… slowly realizing the bait ain’t the priority. “Kid, it just isn’t a coincidence that three of the four energy factors are created by man and the last one is unique to God.”
Suddenly the clarity surfaced, grandpas got a point. The man-made transformation of energy into electricity we understand; however, when it comes to the one factor of energy that God created, we’re clueless. Hence that Einstein guy saying, he “wants to know God’s thoughts, the rest are details.”
Why would you be born with an inherent natural gift to feel emotion? Why do we have the ability to feel joy, happiness, sadness, anger, frustration, guilt, fear, love, grief etc, if the human condition was only based on biological perpetuation?
We carry emotion as a human trait because the answer lies in the heart of our God’s intent, our purpose. You were born knowing right from wrong, good from bad, and knowing the difference between fear and hope. We were all born with a spiritual purpose and created by a loving God.
It takes effort to remain living among men yet connected to the natural state, or what grandpa described as “God’s natural order.”
The effort requires a person to separate themselves from the unnatural outcomes of man’s manipulations, rules and unnatural order. In common speak we must make an effort, literally think about it and take action, to create distance from chaos and return our mindsets to the natural order we were born with.
Ultimately, prayer and even church are an outcome of prior thoughtful human leadership recognizing our need to sit still and return to our natural state.
Right now, in this modern era within the United States and perhaps the larger western world, almost every structured system is in a state of chaos. Control mechanisms and man-made manipulations are being deployed everywhere in order to steer the outcomes amid this chaotic storm.
I think back to that sunrise and my grandfather’s words. I think about my efforts to help as a guide reconciling the ‘why questions’. I will have a bit more soon on the importance of understanding the situation in order to see the appropriate place to put the pressure and achieve natural balance.
However, in the interim, and after watching his full presentation, I have this deep sense that Tucker Carlson will be a stabilizing force as a guide for his grandkids.

Tucker knows that we’re dealing with Bolsheviks in the White House:
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/ukraine-attempted-decapitation-strike-russias-top-general-even-us-tried-stop-it
“The alleged Ukrainian attempt for a ‘decapitation strike’ on Russia’s top commander and Putin’s military right-hand during the planning phase involved Washington pleading for Kiev to call off an attack, only for US officials to find out they already launched it.
It reportedly happened in late April, during a time period in which unnamed American officials boasted that US intelligence was helping the Ukrainians take out Russian generals who were positioned on or just behind front-lines of fighting, as we detailed at the time.
California Joe, this might be down your alley: https://rumble.com/v20gie0-blue-skies-and-golden-grains.html
This isn’t “Chaos”…it is managed/ planned/ intended …..
It all seem very orderly to my own chagrin.
Dr. Francis Collins, leader of the human genome project, wrote a book called The Language of God. He documented his journey from agnostic to atheist, to believer. He mentioned the existence of the Moral Code, that everyone is aware of, but some don’t want to accept. For some, the Moral Code provides a compass for a happy life, and fot others, it must get in the way of their epicurean lifestyle.
interesting
The same Dr. Collins who promotes the vaccine and the boss of Fauci?
He seems to have forgotten the Moral Code somewhere…
While I’d never presume to know the level of faith in another’s heart, I will point out that Collins’ behavior re the vaxxes is as un-Godly and un-Christian as was Mike Pence’s the day the 2020 election was certified.
Thank you, Sundance, for some wisdom and serenity. My parents provided that wisdom and the related goals to our family. We were blessed with great parents!!
Amen. Me too.
Salt of the earth, hardworking, community- involved, Christian folks.
Lost my mom at age 99 last March. I am so grateful. Still, I selfishly feel cheated that she didn’t make it to 100!
An oft misunderstood phrase….”Curiosity killed the cat”….so many people love to state that phrase, often as a chastisement of sorts…
Being a long time lover and observer of cats I have found that his curiosity has fed him far more often than it has injured him….
…And has fed her babies and protected her home far more often….cats will tell you everything a dog will about the security of your surroundings …but…you must watch her as she watches you.
An interesting line from a movie I am watching, after reading a bit on ‘The Great Reset’ earlier…I can’t help but apply it to Klaus and his kind…
“Need is Power”….
And in said movie the application of it is brutal…and brutally effective
Actually…the exact quote is….”Sooner or later, boy, you’re gonna learn…in this new world of ours? (spoken in a growling voice)….Need is Power”
It seems to be saying this: “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” Rahm Emanuel
It also seems that they are creating crises just for that purpose. Also, what a “mocking” last name he has! Emanuel means “God is with us.”
Curiosity killed the cat.
Satisfaction brought him back!
Meow 😻 🐾🐾
I have always heard the phrase as–
“Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.”
Darn it. I didn’t see this. Sorry for being repetitive!

This is a similar analysis based on the prophetic writings of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. It explains much.
THAT HAUNTING NIHILISM by R. R. Reno
https://www.firstthings.com/article/2023/01/that-haunting-nihilism
Thanks for the link to the “First Things” Reno column. As Reno says, we (i.e., non-nihilists) need to continually refine attacks upon the nihilist post-modern “queering” of knowledge and truth.
The post-modernist escape from self and/or embracing of despair are under the sway of a great power, as Kierkegaard knew:
“for the devil is sheer spirit, and therefore absolute consciousness and transparency.”
To understand a disease, you need a correct diagnosis. Kierkegaard provided a powerful diagnosis of individual and cultural despair in “The Sickness Unto Death.”
Best title ever.
In order to achieve this, the next to the top priority is taking our children back from the government schools – America’s best example of totalitarian socialism.
The top priority for Christians is always the Gospel, which is how better people are made.
Reading Kierkegaard makes my head hurt 😉
Trust in GOD, but verify.
Why are we being patronized by Fox News’ latest Glen Beck… Again?
At a TPUSA event no less?
No thanks, I generally stay well clear of the Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro clan.
These people are not conservatives, their modern day evangelist profiteering grifters.
I’m not familiar with Kirk but I believe you’re 💯 on Shapiro.
I have not listened to Kirk in weeks, my life is all the better for it. The more I turn things off, the less blogs I read, the better I feel. Not playing in the charade anymore.
Kirk single-handedly lost AZ for republicans with his ignorant voting advice. One one of his shows he said that maybe 30,000 people didn’t vote on election day because of precinct problems or the line was too long. He told them not to drop off ballots or vote early, only to do the machine in person.
It’s not ignorant to tell people to vote at the polls on election day. It’s what I do.
IMESHO, polling places should be able to ensure that every vote counts correctly, or the election needs to be audited.
Yes. A statement of so obvious a fact, yet broadly villified in MSM. Why would we believe in government if it can’t run a fair and transparent election?
Flat out garbage! The Maricopa county election official fraudsters are 100% to blame. Charlie Kirk was encouraging people to vote on Election Day to prevent voter machine manipulation. Unfortunately, the scumbags changed their tactics this go around.
Charlie is a patriot and to say otherwise shows either your ignorance or dishonest attempt to cause division in the MAGA movement.
If they voted early, the rats just would’ve known how many counterfeit ballots would be required sooner. Don’t buy into the “early voting” scheme the RINOs are now pushing, it just makes it easier for them to cheat.
He was not the only one who made that suggestion to overcome the ‘steal.’
If you read it and listened to Tucker, you chose your own Patronization, Dev.
Unless you are in a room full of people, you chose to listen.
Why do we have to put every one in a box and give it one name.
When they are living, thinking human beings.
Fox News, Glen Beck, TPUSA events, Charlie Kirk, Ben Shapiro, conservative, modern day evangelist, profiteering grifters. I don’t believe one could stuff that much diversity in a box.
One could put, all of the Lazy Leftist Elitist Slavers, in a box, and they would look the same, have the same color, the same chaotic noise, the same smell and taste, with an uncanny agreement of all things, having nothing to do with them, because all of that is bad, except them.
I would still spend my last breath, trying to turn them, instead of just shoot them.
Some really smart, very old men, created a government, where I can still do just that.
But there is a set of rules, made from instinct, history, experience and faith from human life.
Moral virtue, 2 simple words which create trust, security, respect, faith and most of all love.
There is no ‘pursuit of happiness’ without moral virtue.
Without moral virtue, what do you get, What is the big door prize?
Power, control, pain, sadness, confusion?
Do you feel comfortable when another person tells you, they have blue eyes and you’re looking at browneyes.
Science, which is to replace moral virtue, defines this person as insane and or psychotic.
Do you feel safe, secure, would you trust what they say?
If your answer is yes, problem is yours and you are my problem to solve.
They are gatekeepers. They are there to keep conservatives on the cabal’s reservation.
Yep. They are framing the debate.
Okay. You have taken your stand. I respect that. I also know that if it smells like bad fish, it probably is. So far, Tucker does not smell like bad fish to me. This is the best instinct that we have and it definitely came from God.
Sundance had a great Grandfather because it is only at an advanced age that most of us begin to find that the prehensions we have used since birth are our connection to God. I jabber at God all the time, but the only time I know He is helping me is when I smell the fish. My grandfather always told me that if something smells like bad fish, it is. I was blessed to know that man. He had extraordinary mental powers, which he only revealed to us accidentally, since he knew everything that mattered came from God.
Even Alfred North Whitehead could not bridge the gap between what he could encircle in his metaphysics and his primordial prehensions. But he did know God gave him the things he couldn’t surround with his logical arguments. The Philosophers try hard and never seem to be able to cover all the bases. And yet, most of them know that in Nature they see the perfection their minds cannot quite fathom.
I think Tucker carries around the good stuff God gave him. So I don’t think this is patronizing on the part of FOX News. They only worry about their ratings, like every media corporation.
But watch Tucker’s speech. It is a tour de force and it does have an EXTREMELY valuable perspective. Do NOT throw the baby out with the bathwater here.
Am I missing something? What was so great about it? I really don’t get it.
I don’t feel so convinced that Tucker is being so honest. What was so unpredictable about the midterms?
Nothing! It’s another steal, and another speech to keep us in line. Abortion is always the go to issue when everything else they have fails.
Maybe Tucker is trying to walk the fine line between accurate reporting of the truth and pressing the issues that can obliterate public trust in the basic institutions of our Republic. I think his cautious consideration of the facts is why he ever discovers most of the truths about our society. If you don’t trust Tucker Carlson to speak the truth, who do you trust for any information?
We are all always looking for more truth and less bull crap. But, rejecting all information because some truth is a little washed out upon arrival is tantamount to giving up on ever knowing anything. Only God knows everything that is true and everything that is false. People will usually fail to completely know the difference. We have to filter everything people say, and God gave us enough innate skepticism to mostly get it right.
Sundance, your grandfather was a brilliant man and smart enough to know exactly to whom to pass it on.
Loved Tuckers message about cheerfulness and how it is a moral obligation. Couldn’t agree more. also loved his words about Trump, makes me so jealous of anyone that has met him and spent time with him. Would so love to meet DJT!!
Highly recommend attending a Trump rally if you get the opportunity! 🙂
Leave your cell phone at home.
And don’t use your Citi card.
And ignore the FBI provocateurs.
Thanks to all of you for your suggestions..
I am a daily communicant. For myself, I am LITERALLY called to the Supper of the Lamb.
I am a repentant sinner. It takes 3 years to complete the entire bible. Then you start all over again on a different reading schedule. You can never graduate because the Word is living, and everyone is hearing and seeing individually, in their own solitude. But only when the Almighty decides to grace you with those eyes to see and ears to hear, will you begin to see the arc of all history and be able to understand, even one single beautiful grain of it. I should be a theological scholar at this point but sadly I am not. I feel blesssed to keep claiming my pew.
We are living in biblical times. The daily readings are incredibly relevant to this day and time. It has always been that way, every day and time, for 2000 + years.
I usually sit in the same spot, next to the 14th Station. Many prayers and contemplation, I have had gazing at that Station.
Last month, I was deep in prayer one morning, asking “WHY?”, crying softly, pleading for intervention, for the sake of the children throughout the world. My Children, grandchildren and yours.
I suddenly turned my head to the left of the station and in the stainglass were the 10 commandments in Roman numerals. I got my answer. I saw our path so clearly, it scared me.
The World. The United States, our Churches, all people, have lost their way. Far, far away from the natural law of G-D. Every commandment is being shattered simultaneously, throughout the world by design. Satan is aping G-D and very few, have chosen the narrow gate.
You may or may not like my reply, but
“Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition”
…may be in our future.
We need a Nehemiah 8 and 9 style revival – mass repentance and return to the WORD of GOD. Let it begin with me. Make me a doer of the WORD – a fearful reverent obedient doer of the WORD, not a hearer only
I haven’t read the comments thread yet, but I did search to make sure someone else didn’t already post this.
I just felt this article about some teenagers suddenly rebelling against the technocratic society by doing the revolutionary – sitting in nature without their phones – fits very well with this article of sundance’s, and what Tucker said about his impulse to get away…
https://dnyuz.com/2022/12/15/luddite-teens-dont-want-your-likes/
A good sign, I do believe!
Well, since giving you a “like” in this case would seem to defeat the point of your post … Instead please accept this photo I took last year while out on a nature trail in Northeast Ohio as a sign of agreeing with your good sign. Photo was taken with an actual camera, not with a phone. 🙂
the phoenix: Nice buck. I love how its coat blends with the vegetation.
That is a beautiful face. Thanks!
I also ran across that article and it gave me hope. They don’t know the new feelings they are experiencing are the natural state, the joy of God to appreciate life, as they’ve grown up in the world where their parents don’t know these things themselves and could not or would not make them aware.
It is up to all of us to work with the teens and younger, to prevent them from embracing their current culture and being rebels instead. I’m just finishing the first draft of a fiction book for this age group that God willing, many will get their hands on.
Are Tucker’s people really doing anything about the increasing lack of nature, open space and peaceful greenscapes in our country? Pretty soon these will only be accessible to the rich. Some would say that’s already the case in many areas.
Not buyin’ warm and fuzzy snake oil.
I found Tucker’s speech evasive, mostly irrelevant, and disingenuous. The election fraud that took place wasn’t unpredictable at all.
You could imagine that Tucker is out of the loop, if you’re in denial and desperate to believe. But he’s not on Faux News by accident.
Get a clue.
Wonderful speech by Tucker.
One of your best essays. Thank you. Namaste 🙏🏻🙏🏻
What a fine and beautiful bunch of human beings we have here – as Bob Stone said upthread, Sundance, you are the glue. Thank you for building this Treehouse!
yes….i agree
Terrific essay, Sundance. I’ve been lamenting to friends & family since becoming a young adult that “We live such unnatural lives now!”
Believers in God know there are no coincidences. I was just contemplating today how many friends and family members seem to have lost their curiosity, also, their ability to be joyous and happy, even the desire to keep in touch. I don’t know if it’s the negativity surrounding us or a feeling of doom but I am wondering if others are observing this.
Yes. I sense it everywhere I go. How could we not be depressed with all that has gone on and is continuing? Many people have lost loved ones or are watching them deal with all manner of maladies due to the great evil concoction that has been pushed upon us. The evil and corruption is pervasive across all areas. We cannot escape it. Every grocery item, every gallon of gas, every bill or purchase is a continual reminder of the great and terrible situation our country is in. I went to a very family-friendly concert in a very conservative area and when one of the performers talked about America being the best country on earth, there was mild applause. I noticed it immediately. During President Trump’s presidency, there would have been uproarious applause in this same setting.😔
My faith and trust in God is keeping me going. I have LOTS to be thankful for and let the words come out of my mouth daily, expressing my gratitude. Truth is, we need our Savior desperately. And He needs us to desperately repent and to cry out for mercy. We all have a purpose in His kingdom. I pray that I can fulfill mine and do it with the JOY that is a gift from God.🙏🏼🇺🇸🙏🏼🇺🇸
Another great read.
I belive that I’ve picked up on that purposeful distancing from the natural order of things even before I was a teenager. It was a general sense of things simply not being quite right.
It wasn’t until I gained more life experiences and a bit of wisdom along the way to adequately convey that to another. If only more were receptive to pursuing and sharing in the truth.
Extraordinary article and lecture by Tucker.
So many great comments and perspective. Towards the end, we can’t reward incompetence concept speaks to where we are, if the GOP establishment can’t win elections that should have been super easy to win, those players need to go.
Tucker Carlson says what is so, at so many levels.
I’m a little bit sorry he never (unless he does it in the last few minutes–not quite done listening yet….) … he never mentions or rejoices over the fun and the beauty and the order of fractals.
I’m sure Tucker Carlson is a very very busy man. Being that busy, he most likely does not have the luxury of spare time to study something as complex as fractals. I do not consider myself to be either extremely intelligent – or stupid. When, so many years ago now, I read James Gleick’s excellent book “CHAOS: Making a New Science,” I had to read one chapter at a time, allowing time for my brain to work subconsciously on it before beginning the next chapter. It changed my view of most everything. It was in the mid 90s, and I was working on AI driven computer models of selected commodity markets. It answered the questions I had about why markets behaved as they did. I could readily see the complexity he described in his book.
I recently watched Tucker’s interview of Mike Tyson. I can’t say that I’ve enjoyed any interview more. I knew that it would be surprisingly good, as I remember a picture of Tyson carrying a book. When I enlarged the picture, I saw that it was written by Thomas Sowell. Tucker has the gift of being able to interview diverse and interesting people – and put it all together in his mind so that it fits. He seems to be like sundance here in his ability to take pieces of the puzzle and put them all together for us to consider.
All this chaos is on purpose. Most of us feel unsure about where we will wind up.
Some are saying to be “happy” to be in the last quarter of their lives, just feeling very bad for the grandchildren…..
We cannot participate in this chaos. We cannot obey this cabal.
Sundance thank you for your thoughts. Sending this to my family and friends.
The term “Great Preset” keeps coming to mind now, after having read the article twice and watched Tucker’s remarks once. I’d venture to say this is one of the most important articles I’ve read here since I began lurking maybe ten or eleven years ago.
It feels like we are in an epic Shakespearean tragedy.
With lots of secrets and hidden alliances.
.
Any proof of the Kushner thing?
My Grandfather’s lone wisdom derives from when he went into KFC and asked for a bucket of chicken. The woman behind the counter asked, “what”? “Bucket of Chicken”, he repeats calmly. Her face remains perplexed, says nothing, and then my grandfather yells, “A bucket of chicken!”
“Sir, this is McDonald’s”, is the dagger she flings into his heart. He returns home, without KFC or McDonald’s, in typical defeat. This was very fitting for my family. Lifelong angry, jealous and bitter Democrats with bizarre mental problems.
My grandfather was ancient, his entire life, until he died. We barely spoke, and for some reason, all I really remember are his is lips flapping while eating because he refused to buy dentures – no doubt waiting for Democrats to send him teeth, and perhaps a bucket of chicken.
It’s much harder for me to know how to emotionally handle the world we are in. And as you can tell, I was much less prepared than Sundance. I know it’s not natural for people to be surrounded by bad news they can’t control, and yet, so much of our lives feel dependent upon it. Modernity may simply be a curse, and the reason why the bulk of our society is doped up in order to cope.
Retired Magistrate here: I am learning to be thankful for the day that I have, enough food to eat, a roof over my head, a husband who still loves me after 33 plus years, a body that is still functional most days and more than anything else GOD who loved me so much that HE sent HIS only begotten son, JESUS CHRIST, to die for my sins and impute to me HIS righteousness.
I have to remind myself that I am just passing through on this earth and my eternal home will be in Heaven. Until then, I do what I can to help others and enjoy the day that GOD gives me. It is the Christmas season; let your light shine and bring joy to the ones around you.
Thank you Marcia. Tonight is our 46th wedding anniversary! Time has been passing quickly Faster the older I get. Your reminder of we are just passing through is a comforting thought and I thank you for your words that I have been unable to express. Blessings to you and yours.
The human race is made of predators and prey. The genius of our former country’s founders was creating a workable balance that left a significant amount of power in the hands of the prey.
We are now experiencing the destruction of that delicate balance and a return to the old rules. Soon we will be worked and whipped to death building giant pyramids in tribute to our master (metaphorically speaking).
there’s a difference between instinct and thought. learn that and you can be better as a person.
I think TC is thinking hard about working for paul ryan.
Trump calls Paul Ryan a ‘pathetic loser’ after the former Republican House Speaker said many in the GOP didn’t have guts to impeach him (yahoo.com)
“I think TC is thinking hard about working for Paul Ryan.”
_____________________
So, why would you think that?
because I would.
So now we know that you would be willing to work for Paul Ryan – are you sure you want us to think that?
We Live in a Broken World, But Surprise, Surprise…There is Nothing New in that Fact!
Man’s human sinful nature and his inhumanity to his fellow man, has remained consistently present through out history. Only the actors and players change over the years. Someone is always trying to be the new “Dr. Evil” and forcing the “One World Government” concept on the rest of humanity. You name it: the Babylonians, the Greeks, the Romans, The Colonial Empires, right up to Hitler and Stalin…They all have been driven to try to force oppression on everyone else at the expense of freedom and liberty.
AND THEY ALL FAIL…!!
Our Founding Fathers knew all this and wisely set up a way to live that was invested on the rights given to us by our Creator. But, they knew that our leaders’ inherent human sinful nature could and would lead to elitism and corruption.
We are experiencing that familiar song and dance that “only our elected officials know what is good for us”…. Sure…
Right now, as all of this latest attempt at “Empire Building” is taking place, we, the people, are suffering. We are seeing our country drift away from our God Given Founding Principles and away from God himself.
We, as a country, have our lost our focus on the Lord’s Presence in our individual lives, and our communities.
What to do about it? Here at godsbattlefield.com we will explore the many ways we change the way we think and act, both personally and as a nation.
”Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you. All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see your radiance.” Isaiah 60:2-3
“The nations are in chaos, and their kingdoms crumble, God’s voice thunders and the earth melts” Psalm 46:6
”The wicked plot against the godly; they snarl at them in defiance. But the Lord just laughs, for he sees their day of judgement coming. Psalm 37:12-13
So here we are…Surrounded by designed chaos and negativity…The evil one is working non-stop to drive us into depression and giving up…Our communities are overridden with crime, our citizens are divided, and our families are splintered with divisive issues, which have in effect, distanced us all from our only true Savior. Our cherished Republic has been taken over by evil, arrogant, greedy zealots that have wrested control of the country out of the “People’s” hands and into the age-old oppressive “One Government Rule” concept that has failed every time it has been tried over thousands of years.
So again I ask? What to do about it?
Well, we don’t give up that is for sure. This play has been on Broadway many times before, and it will end as it always has before, with the Lord’s people being rescued.
But first we need to return ourselves and our country back to our Faith and Trust in the Lord, and His eventual victory over the evil one.
”That is why we never give up. though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever. So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
The people of Israel spent seventy years in Babylon as a lesson for their wandering away their focus on God. But, He did not abandon them, and he continued to love them.
”Though the Lord gave you adversity for food and suffering for drink, he will still be with you to teach you. You will see your teacher with your own eyes . Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or the left. Then you will destroy all your silver idols and your precious gold images.” Isaiah 30:20-22
“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord. Psalm 27: 14
So, we don’t know if it is going to be seventy years, but we need to clean up our spiritual lives, individually and as a country, before this horrible slump we are in will be over.
We need to seek his Presence in our lives every moment of the day. So, we patiently wait, while we also learn from our trials.
Practice asking for his Presence in our lives….
Thank you for your words and for the scriptures. I do have one quibble, though. All born again believers are indwelt with the Holy Spirit. Indeed, the New Testament repeatedly teaches that all who are born of the Spirit are seated with Christ in the heavenlies–in fact, we are seated with Christ at the right hand of the Father. I don’t know how that works, but God says it; therefore, I believe it!
So, instead of “seeking his Presence,” realize that as a child of God, you are ALWAYS in His presence. And not only that, He is ALWAYS in you–in fact, the very thing that Jesus prayed for in the garden, God answered. (Imagine that!)
May all true believers carry the message of this season with us year round–Emanuel: God WITH us!!
I wish Tucker had acknowledged why his predictions were so wrong – election theft. Voter roles are being inflated. Ballots are being manufactured, cheating is rampant. Soros has installed many AGs who are complicit. Widespread fraud defies logic and our sense of fair elections. It must be acknowledged and confronted.
No, instead he counsels us to ‘look inside,’ and ‘be cheerful.’
This is the single most disturbing and alienating essay/comments section I’ve ever read on here. I’m totally gobsmacked.
I didn’t have anybody like that growing up. We were not a close family. But, I did become curious about the Bible as a teenager and I studied it constantly and prayed to God our Father for a knowledge of the truth and for great wisdom.
Seems like it worked out fairly good. Getting wisdom can be painful, but understanding the truth is easy for me. I know where to go for it and no matter how cunningly disguised falsehoods might be, I can always easily detect them.
However, I can’t get anybody else to understand how to do it. It’s always immediately rejected. But, that’s not really my problem to solve. It’s theirs.
For several months, I have been getting more and more sceptical of the “Tucker is ‘controlled opposition’ narrative.
“He doesn’t talk about Covid and the vax. He won’t ‘go there’.
And then he ‘went there’ interviewing Dr. Malone for over an hour.
“The stolen election, ‘he won’t go there’ and then he DID ‘.go there’.
So, had pretty much discounted the negative narrative on T.C.,…
and then he REALLY went there,,saying the CIA assasinated JFK,….and any remaining smidgen of doubt was erased.
Hearing his talk at TPA, I gotta say he needs to get out more often, cause he’s a GREAT, impromptu public speaker.
A great presentation, valuable points made, across the board.
Oh, and in passing apperently he is a ‘pureblood’ a vax-decliner.
I have been very skeptical of you as a commenter over the last six months. This decides it, though.
*When* did Tucker discuss the issues you cite? Was he perhaps a day late and a trillion dollars short?
Talk about shutting the barn gate after the animals run away! Must we express gratitude for his gratuitous and belated support?
“Orderliness, natural alignment and the bigger principles of universal balance in all things, have always been important to me. When things are chaotic and out of balance, my general inclination is to ask why.”
Very Aquinian, SD. But if the Spirit of Lawlessness has become the pervasive ethos, the inquiry-driven quest for order is left to spin its wheels incessantly. Chaos offers very little inquisitive traction.
That is when the God, who created order, answers the query.
He is able to break through the chaotic storm and bring peace by offering truth.
Excellent monologue, Sundance.
Why hasn’t Fox/Paul Ryan terminated Tucker yet?
IMO – ratings vs the ugly truth.
Global media corporations balance revenue/ratings with their essential purpose as globalist propaganda. Fox News stands above all others with its additional role to provide an illusion of choice in news. So, someone at Fox has to push close to the edge of the ugly truth. Just don’t show viewers the bottom of the cesspool.
An example is maintaining the elephant vs donkey perspective but never explaining how the Uniparty works and the role of the Elephants’ Big Club. Or, talking about election results but never the clear patterns, the systemic nature of ballot harvesting or the Elephants’ role in it.
Glenn Beck was pulling huge ratings at CNN as their star pundit who exposed the lies and hypocrisy of Republican politicians. Fox hired him to do the same for Democrats when Obama and the Chicago gang came to DC. But Beck soon found the end of his leash when he started exposing too much truth about the players behind Obamacare and how the Republicans’ feigned opposition.
Tucker Carlson is the best talent Fox has and the top ratings. But I’ve a sense he is now right at the edge staring down at the ugly truth and his fate should he reveal it.
The Ugly Truth. That is the juncture in the road is where, I think, Sundance and Carlson find themselves together at. It may be that Carlson is privy to it. Sundance has painstakingly pieced it together for all who are willing, to see.
Read the comments section here and there’s your answer.
This is what controlled opposition looks like. This is what Judas Goats look like. False prophets. Fake idols.
‘But abortion…obsessing about abortion will save us!’ ‘I had no way of knowing what would happen in the midterms!’ ‘I’m so humbled by nature and my wife!’
Wake up, sheeple. Btw, our pagan ancestors, whom TC reviles, didn’t kneel before invaders and the evil they attempted to unleash upon us. The only europeans who defended european values and culture were in fact pagans. Even the Christian Crusaders were fighting for an occupied government.
Many on here need to study history more carefully. The american revolution championed the native values of the europeans, not those of the Romans who had invaded, occupied and enslaved Europe for almost two millennia. All of the rights our Founders fought and died for came from their native european belief system and a direct revolt and refutation of Rome. To them the (Episcopalian) Church of England needed to be cleansed and purified of its dirty, corrupting Roman influence.
It was not an Episcopalian fight. The patriot movement was engined by the Presbyterians. Most Episcopalians were pro-British.
Good for Tucker to acknowledge that he comes from Episcopalians. How ironic that he thinks he speaks for ‘America’ when he is horrified by European pagan roots, while simultaneously celebrating the temple of nature. The presbyterians weren’t ‘pagans’ per se, but they did want to live closer to the values of their own indigenous culture as opposed to Tucker’s Roman Episcopalian one.
This is relatively basic american history that has been purposely elided. True american thought was revolutionary and anti-Episcopalian. The early patriots refused to kneel before a foreign god and some self appointed, self anointed so-called noble priestly class. They didn’t worry about controlling women’s child birthing as some palliative, either. They didn’t find their manhood through invading women’s wombs.
Please try to educate yourselves. Tonight Tucker will feign all sorts of outrage about the drag shows that are just recreations of Roman perversion.
If you need to find inspiration from the Christian paradigm (I was raised Christian but am not really one), remember that Jesus Christ died because he was ANGRY at the moneylenders and the sex traffickers.
Europeans need to rekindle their ANGER. It is HEALTHY and GOOD. The patriots who died for our freedom defended their women and children and neighbors from rape and enslavement.
Love
You are correct when you state you are not really a Christian. Real Christians know why Christ died and it wasn’t because He was angry. He gave His life as payment for OUR sins. You obviously have not read or do not believe God’s Word. So please do not try to tell us why Jesus died. We already know why He GAVE his life.
He died because he would not abide the evil he saw taking over the temple. He angrily threw out the evildoers. In return, they crucified him. Ever hear the phrase ‘he died for our sins?’
I was baptized, first communion’ed and confirmed in the Catholic Church. I may not embrace all tenets of Christianity but I respect its higher values.
Here’s where the phrase “put down the crack pipe” really applies.
No, your comment is where non-sequitur and ad hominem applies. You have no rebuttal whatsoever. That is not me being nonsensical. It is your pathetic ignorance and audacity.
The curious will be forever plagued by the gullible.
Perhaps someday God will explain why He set things up like this.
Apparently, universal law is set up to test our faith. This can’t be an IQ test, that’s for sure!
Some of the ‘smartest’ people I know are reluctant to live their faith. They do not have the courage of their convictions.
All of this chaos emanates directly from the frauds perpetrated on the West for 30 years. The most overt fraud being the 2020 election steal, that’s not okay.
Go with God!
It is my hope that God will give me the ability to be as insightful as your grandfather was to you to my own grandchildren. I pray every morning for God’s Holy Wisdom to be with me as I interact with my grandchildren. Merry Christmas to you Sundance.
I learned from my Dad if it dont look right feel right smell right it’s probably not right use your commonsense..
We’ve had an eye on Tucker since his CNN days; I immediately didn’t like him. Still, over the years, ina and I became impressed with his oft-stated core beliefs – then he ‘matriculated’ to FOX – FOX where Bill O’Reilly reigned.
These days we realize that Tucker has – what we call – a ‘fair bone’. People with a fair bone are the ones you want to ump your kid’s games; they are the people we can trust to point out the factual/empirical efficacy of a career politician. For us Tucker is, now, an oasis in the media desert – and is always welcome at our campfire.
It’s the Trump train you can get on or off but you can’t steer it Tucker Carlson 12/17/22 .His insight to people Trump is unbelievable Tucker.
Gawd, does Rumble ever plan to implement a URL cue feature? Having to scroll through two hours and 22 minutes to get to Tu-Ca is a pain.
Psalm 119:16-32 CSB – I will not forget your word.
ג Gimel
¹⁷ Deal generously with your servant
so that I might live;
then I will keep your word.
¹⁸ Open my eyes so that I may contemplate
wondrous things from your instruction.
¹⁹ I am a resident alien on earth;
do not hide your commands from me.
²⁰ I am continually overcome
with longing for your judgments.
²¹ You rebuke the arrogant,
the ones under a curse,
who wander from your commands.
²² Take insult and contempt away from me,
for I have kept your decrees.
²³ Though princes sit together speaking against me,
your servant will think about your statutes;
²⁴ your decrees are my delight
and my counselors.
ד Daleth
²⁵ My life is down in the dust;
give me life through your word.
²⁶ I told you about my life,
and you answered me;
teach me your statutes.
²⁷ Help me understand
the meaning of your precepts
so that I can meditate on your wonders.
²⁸ I am weary from grief;
strengthen me through your word.
²⁹ Keep me from the way of deceit
and graciously give me your instruction.
³⁰ I have chosen the way of truth;
I have set your ordinances before me.
³¹ I cling to your decrees;
LORD, do not put me to shame.
³² I pursue the way of your commands,
for you broaden my understanding.
So wait, does Tucker NOT believe the the majority of these elections were stolen? Its only then that he would deem himself to have been wrong.
The points he was making are all fine and good, but Im more interested in knowing which people on the “right” aren’t aware of the fact that these elections are being straight up STOLEN.
If he is aware that the majority of voters DID vote red, and the red wave would have in-fact happened if not for ballots being printed up and stuffed in boxes and rigged machines, then he would know he wasn’t WRONG.
What exactly is he saying he was wrong about?
If I thought that more people had actually voted for Biden, and Warnock, and Hobbs, and that I was in the minority, I would be considerably more depressed and would need these types of pick-me-up, hopey-changey speeches and be more actively researching which country to move to.
Finally, some clarity.
Sundance’s post is moving me to blow my cover here on The Treehouse, though I don’t really care. THEY know that I know that THEY know who I am anywhere digitally. It is the spirit of my paternal grandparents that have helped sustain me in the past couple years of horror and treason:

Specifically, my song Blue Skies & Golden Grains invokes my grandparents, sitting on my shoulder metaphorically, as I have struggled with the continued demise of our Republic:

Wonderful essay, Sundance!
Thanks for that clip. I was struck by how Laura made so much sense. We don’t watch her show, but perhaps there is more hope and good sense on display than we realized.
Aside from Tucker opening up his own personal thoughts to the audience, I have to say that he is one of the first MSM types I have heard, publicly praise Trump’s virtues.
It is about time.
I also agree with Tucker that my belief in our government has been lost these last few years. I now believe our CIA obviously killed JFK, partly because I have seen their efforts to take out Trump.
I think they took out Nixon through Watergate ,and are still trying to take out Trump through some fabricated legal game.
The “endless” wars the USA has been engaged in for so many years makes the elite crowd rich at the expense of all good people. There is no real point to these wars beyond that one thing.
Sundance opened up my eyes to what they were doing to Trump while Donald Trump has been fighting to save us and our country.
Trump has my unwavering support and gratitude.
Anyone who watches the complete Tucker Carlson speech and then concludes hs is “controlled opposition” is not thinking clearly. That man speaks in faith, and undeerstands that we will know others by their fruits. And he is not afraid to state it aloud.
I listened to Tucker go on about how he got the Midterms all wrong and then a bunch of wisdom speech.
How the Frick does he get the Midterms wrong? You expect me to believe you are all that naive/stupid?
Who here at CTH still doesn’t know why we lose. Surely Tucker does even though he can’t say it out loud. How does a nobody schmuck like me predict the Midterm result almost to 100% accuracy but the entertainers don’t have a clue?
Wake Up People
I’ve yet to watch Tucker but Sundance’s wisdom and faith and self reflection is why we come here. (And curiosity)
Tucker is not growing “crazier”, he is growing wiser. His speech gives me hope. Beauty and truth matter…and the source of that is God. I see that the Holy Spirit is becoming more apparent in current events. I have prayed for a revival in our nation, and I believe it is coming.
