Fox News host Tucker Carlson delivered a speech in Arizona at AmFest yesterday that hits home for many people. [Direct Rumble Link, at 02:21:46] If you have not watched his full speech, I recommend it and will embed at the bottom of this post.
In part of Tucker’s unscripted remarks, a discussion about this current moment in the lifecycle of life’s storm and cultural chaos, Carlson noted his need to go silent for a few days and reflect on the bigger picture of our situation. For me, that part of his discussion rang very familiar and perhaps, based entirely on my instinct that many are feeling the same sense of unease and trepidation, it is worthy to share why.
I was born a person of natural curiosity; intensely so.
Orderliness, natural alignment and the bigger principles of universal balance in all things, have always been important to me. When things are chaotic and out of balance, my general inclination is to ask why.
What is happening that creates this imbalance, an imbalance ultimately from truth?
The natural order of things is so much a part of my instinctual makeup that as a young child my maternal grandfather once said and wrote to me, “son, you were born with an incurable case of curiosity, and someday it might kill you.”
Later in life I discovered the nature of that conversation stemmed from an episode where I refused to accept being taught imbalanced rules at school. My worried and intensely patient mom sought advice from her father, my granddad, in a letter I later discovered in his well-worn satchel of mementos.
Turning a phrase my mom wrote, “Dear dad, we are attempting to tame the shrewd“… Apparently, my childhood sense of curiosity was loved and cherished, but also worrisome in the way that only a mother’s wisdom could assess.
Granddad replied with a comforting dispatch to my exasperated mom, and then appeared in person a week later to help lend some practical support to my parent’s efforts.
In this context, ‘practical’ meant me and grandpa on a week-long fishing and camping trip right in the middle of the school year. The timing was why that specific visit imprinted so memorably, yet the purpose remained unknown to me until much later in life.
From grandpa’s conversations I learned there are natural laws and basic rules in this universal thing we call life. They are seeded within us, deep into our souls, from the miracle of birth and creation. We inherently know things, we sense things, and it is only as an outcome of immersion in the world of unnatural laws and man-made rules, that we begin to be disconnected from them.
This is the God factor in life, the thing that is bigger than ourselves, that various religions and philosophers have noted and discussed.
At birth we know right from wrong. We are born with an instinctual knowledge that hurting others is bad and helping others is good. We know from birth the difference between true and false, this is the part that caused the immediate issue with my younger self questioning the school learning.
My 11-year-old self was worrying that we were losing catch bait time that second morning, meanwhile grandpa was frustratingly and mysteriously ambivalent about the sunrise.
Instead, my scruffy hero in life said to me while boiling coffee, there are natural states of existence, natural instincts, that transcend learned outcomes and consequences.
Touch fire and get burned is a learned outcome, knowing the difference between right and wrong, between love and anger, is not.
In essence, if you follow the natural flow of things, you arrive to realize that “emotions are not learned; we are born with them.”
Think about that deeply. Emotions are not learned; we are born with them… The implications are enormous.
“Penguins are birds that needed to swim, not fly, so they evolved wings into flippers, but man’s emotions were present from day one and never wavered.” Odd, breakfast conversation. Then comes a cuss word which always drew my grins and attention. “We also know all about four factors of energy, the two nuclear sciences, fusion and fission, hell we are reliant on the third, electromagnetic, yet we have no damned clue how the gravity one works.”
Yup, there’s me standing, listening, a cast net in one hand and bucket in the other… slowly realizing the bait ain’t the priority. “Kid, it just isn’t a coincidence that three of the four energy factors are created by man and the last one is unique to God.”
Suddenly the clarity surfaced, grandpas got a point. The man-made transformation of energy into electricity we understand; however, when it comes to the one factor of energy that God created, we’re clueless. Hence that Einstein guy saying, he “wants to know God’s thoughts, the rest are details.”
Why would you be born with an inherent natural gift to feel emotion? Why do we have the ability to feel joy, happiness, sadness, anger, frustration, guilt, fear, love, grief etc, if the human condition was only based on biological perpetuation?
We carry emotion as a human trait because the answer lies in the heart of our God’s intent, our purpose. You were born knowing right from wrong, good from bad, and knowing the difference between fear and hope. We were all born with a spiritual purpose and created by a loving God.
It takes effort to remain living among men yet connected to the natural state, or what grandpa described as “God’s natural order.”
The effort requires a person to separate themselves from the unnatural outcomes of man’s manipulations, rules and unnatural order. In common speak we must make an effort, literally think about it and take action, to create distance from chaos and return our mindsets to the natural order we were born with.
Ultimately, prayer and even church are an outcome of prior thoughtful human leadership recognizing our need to sit still and return to our natural state.
Right now, in this modern era within the United States and perhaps the larger western world, almost every structured system is in a state of chaos. Control mechanisms and man-made manipulations are being deployed everywhere in order to steer the outcomes amid this chaotic storm.
I think back to that sunrise and my grandfather’s words. I think about my efforts to help as a guide reconciling the ‘why questions’. I will have a bit more soon on the importance of understanding the situation in order to see the appropriate place to put the pressure and achieve natural balance.
However, in the interim, and after watching his full presentation, I have this deep sense that Tucker Carlson will be a stabilizing force as a guide for his grandkids.

Thanks Sundance for sharing these thoughts.
We have two sons very similar to you and chose to homeschool for exactly these reasons. We could see that the public school system, in the various places that we lived, were not up to the challenge. Today, there would be no question about homeschooling considering the foolishness that passes for ‘education’ in public schools today.
In the past, we were frequently asked ‘what about socialization?’. I would generally reply with something snarky about socialism, and no thanks. Today, it would be ‘no thanks, I want my children to be able to read and add’.
My son was born with undeveloped lungs. He was in intensive care for three weeks.
Our home church in Costa Rica where we were living prayed for him intensely.
Weeks later I was ordained as a deacon in our church. I shared that often what members need more than financial support is spiritual support and shared how my son was ok after much prayer had been sent to heaven!
A lady raced to me after the sermon! She asked if it was my son that had been sick recently and I answered yes.
She looked me in the eye and said, “Your son will be a very special man when he grows up!”
I never saw her again. My son is indeed special. He is gifted academically. We removed both of my children from public school this year and they are in a fantastic Christian school. I’m working insane hours to cover the costs, but the investment is worth it!
In January our church is hosting a conference in how to make our ‘arrows in our quivers’ directly impact the culture of the day. My wife and I intend to go.
One of the greatest ways to push back against the culture of the day is by raising up a Godly family. It is so hard. I feel underperforming! Grandparents like the one Sundance mentions are most valuable! I urge all of the grandparents at CTH to pour time into their grandkids. The most significant investment you can make in my opinion.
Pray without ceasing. The days are evil. Thanks for the wonderful share.
DD
Amen, Dan; wise words, indeed (and from Sundance, too) . . . !
Cheers D.D.
We just spent the morning with our two sons and three grandsons.
This was only possible because of the love and strength of my grandfather.
Your stellar post further strengthens my resolve to continue building a fence around them the five boys.
The grandsons are infants, but will be attending a fine local Christian School a ten minute drive from us, if I have anything to do with it.
All the best!
If I ever make it out to the west coast we must have coffee!!
I worked for a year running fibre optic cable from Terrace to Prince Rupert. Most beautiful country in Canada I presume.
You are a terrific freedom fighter behind enemy lines. Ontario is so lost. BC probably more so!
Stay strong.
DD
I will buy!
😎😎
May G_d bless you Dan Dale! Please pray for me as my wife and I have been shut out of my grandsires lives as we have been deemed not woke enough by my daughter who has spent 8 years in “therapy” and this is the result. Please never fail your grandsires! Soldier on my brother!
School socialization is way overated in that what actually occurs is the mob of kids are raising each other rather than the child being raised at home all day by the stay at home mom and dad parentals.
This today’s world of everyone leaving the house daily to go their own way is really quite a pitiful existence.
Your comment made me think about kids selling drugs in school.
Corrupting other children for money and power.
“It is quite right that you should feel that ‘something terrific’ has happened to you (it has) and be ‘all glowy.’ Accept these sensations with thankfulness as birthday cards from God, but remember that they are only greetings, not the real gift. I mean, it is not the sensations that are the real thing. The real thing is the gift of the Holy Spirit which can’t usually be—perhaps not ever—experienced as a sensation or emotion. The sensations are merely the response of your nervous system. Don’t depend on them. Otherwise when they go and you are once more emotionally flat (as you certainly will be quite soon), you might think that the real thing had gone too. But it won’t. It will be there when you can’t feel it. May even be most operative when you can feel it least.”
—C.S. Lewis
...Ever be filled and stimulated with the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:18
Bless you in the Name of our Lord sDee!
Very interesting post sDee. I am often guided by that ‘glowy’ sensation which for me is a physical, as well as an emotional feeling. First comes the sensation, and then I get emotional, that joy we experience in communion with our higher power.
The closest I can describe that glowy sensation is when your stomach drops on a roller coaster ride, but that is an approximation only. In transcendental meditation, the glowy ‘sensation’ you sometimes experience when quieting your conscious mind is described as “bliss.”
Very powerful! I didn’t connect this feeling to the Holy Spirit, but when I experience the ‘glow’ I know intuitively that I am in harmony with myself, the temple of the Living God.
In this state, we appreciate balance and are afforded a glimpse of what human beings can achieve when we are fully ‘awake.’ And yes, without this self awareness and reflection on our higher purpose, we mostly sleepwalk through our everyday lives.
In 2022, that sleepwalking state has devolved into a dystopian nightmare that we need to snap out of.
I imagine losing your beloved companion has also contributed to your natural inclination to self-preserve from the non-stop insanity. Very sorry for your loss.
Yes; we LOVE our pets & furry companions. When one crosses the Rainbow Bridge, it is very hard & we MISS THEM SO MUCH . . . ! :'(
Time for reflection is good.
Tucker was channeling Dr Jordan Peterson. Good role model, excellent thinker.
Peterson is anti-Trump and disbelieves the 2020 STEAL…..I lost faith in him as an intellectual when he failed in the basic skill of looking at and analyzing the facts in a coherent way
He has been absorbed by Conservative Inc. Signing on to Daily Wire was a mistake but he will figure it out.
Conservative Inc is just Bolshevik Light at this point!
JP, for all his talents, doesn’t understand Americans.
I have never met anyone not born and bred in America that understands us.
He also wouldn’t agree that people are basically good, and, neither do I.
Tucker didn’t say he believed that at birth people were good. He said that from early on, we knew what was good v. what was bad.
Jordan Peterson is a Judas goat.
He is not on our side, which should be evident by his recent statements and behaviour
Which statements and behavior? This is not an impolite challenge to you. I simply don’t know what you’re referring to and I’d like to understand.
I would suggest you visit the site https://voxday.net/. Vox Day has written a great deal about the man.
Since joining the Daily Wire, he’s called for the end of Internet anonymity.
He may as well join the ADL.
Do the research. His lectures on Karl Jung reveal his depravity. Also, do a search of Vox Day’s posts on JP.
The man has documented mental health issues, a drug addiction, and estranged children. Jordan Peterson is a role model of what not to do.
Why did he go to Russia to detox? His daughter said he couldn’t get the kind of no meds, induced coma, detox treatment he needed in the West.
That’s not true. The 8-day induced coma withdrawal treatment has been practiced in the U.S. and Canada.
Something fishy about this guy. I guess Mother Teresa had the right idea when she said helping people in any capacity should not make the helper rich, except spiritually. She made sure her order had the bare necessities but nothing more as they ministered to the poor and dying.
I get what she’s saying. There’s something wrong with making millions off the suffering of Americans. I mean, these people like Tucker, Peterson, Candace Owens and a host of other conservative millionaires, yes, even Rush Limbaugh, with all of their media presence and analyses, have not stopped the destruction of our country. But it has made them rich so they can leave when it gets really bad.
It would be much worse without them.
They are allies.
Tucker grew up in an affluent, educated house, went to boarding school.
He lives on a family property in rural Maine, having left DC because of threats against him.
He loves to fish, do a little hunting, and he lives a happy life with wife, kids who are older now and visit, friends for dinner.
I don’t know how much money he makes, but it’s certainly enough for his needs, which seem quite modest.
He has 2 children and is very involved and close to both.
His addiction was with a prescribed medication that he was trying to get off of, and had a very bad reaction.
He recovered completely.
He is extremely sensitive and extemely bright, and that is a lot to manage.
Many people with high IQ’s suffer with depression.
He is on a diet the has helped him recover.
Putting your trust in any man can be very disappointing at times.
Christ the King is the only one I look to. His word is golden. Read Psalm 1.
Sundance, you never cease to amaze me with your perception and wisdom. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. On another note, I just discovered The Chosen on Youtube. Appears I’m a little late to the party, but it is one of the best portayals of Jesus and is truly amazing. If you haven’t watched this series, please do! Merry Christmas to all and God Bless.
Jesus was both fully God and fully man, and he lived a perfect life. The Bible warns that we shouldn’t add to the Word or take away from the Word. The Chosen is not even spiritual junk food—it’s a different Jesus.
Glad you said it. Entertaining and family friendly? Yes. You have good discernment
Agreed Fannie! Better to not watch and be mislead by The Chosen…
Consider instead to open and read your Bible. Last year about this time I was reading the gospel of John about once a day. It was a beautiful way to end one year and bring in a new one.
Just a comment for what it is worth. Twenty plus years ago, Tim LaHaye came out with his “Left Behind”. As I was reading it, the Holy Spirit stirred in me a desire to rekindle an interest in studying the Bible, and eventually a commitment to Christ.
I understand the series is not totally Biblical, however, if it was used to bring this sinner to a changed life in Christ, this movie can also do so for others.
Thank you for this discussion. It has prompted me to add this to my prayers.
I watched 2 episodes. It seriously suffers from a “modernization ” effect. It is so clearly written by Americans, without any serious effort to place Jesus and the Apostles in a 1st century Roman conquered Judean Jewish culture, that I found it to be very concerning.
We are already so far lacking in true knowledge. I fear this sort of effort makes it worse.
For example, the best review and explanation of the first chapters of Genesis I have ever heard was the Lord of the Spirits podcast linked by Posobiec a while back. They delve into the whole was it a talking snake? question.
Turns out, if you understand the written Hebrew and how it functions, with variable vowels, the word used there conveys something more like “a Shining One with a snaky quality.”
We have lost the study and understanding of Hebrew and Greek. Only a very few can read the Bible in the original language. So a Shining One turns into a talking snake, when we all know physical snakes cannot talk and don’t eat dust but rather mice, and so did the Israelites. The story is ever so much richer, and makes so much more sense, including the explanation of the eating dust, than modern Americans could believe.
Yet if this series went there, they might actually present a snake, talking. Now we are going to translate the four Gospels into a modern American evangelical culture?
Not my cup of tea.
Just my take.
A large fraction of the population today are fully-debased pagans (woke neo-Marxists, and anyone in tune with modern culture, social media). This includes the majority of church-goers, also.
They don’t have the ability to read and understand subtle thought or expression because they have been miseducated and live in a debased world. They mimic humans by comparing their behavior to others. Left to themselves, they would be more adrift than animals.
There is little chance they will look at a Bible and no chance they could understand it if they did.
The Chosen’s visual presentation plows the “hard ground” so to speak, making it more receptive to seeds, such that there is some chance they could follow up and have the Bible make sense.
It simply is not useful to demand they start at a point of 100% purity and in the original Hebrew. It’s as if you want to guarantee failure.
I’ve dealt with several such people who had the Chosen open their minds and followed up with the Bible. We will see how it turns out.
Also, your comment “without any serious effort to place Jesus and the Apostles in a 1st century Roman conquered Judean Jewish culture” is so bizarre it made suspect you had never seen the show.
The show is almost entirely about placing Jesus and the Apostles in 1st century conquered Jewish culture. I’m not sure what two episodes you could have seen that somehow missed this.
Also, you complain about modernization, then adopt a strange rationalization to make the Bible compatible with modern naturalism while rejecting “American evangelical culture”.
Tens of thousands of translators and language scholars have looked at the Hebrew for centuries and not one has arrived at “a Shining One with a snaky quality”. Glad Posobiec finally cracked it on his podcast.
But maybe he is more concerned with arriving at a solution that doesn’t offend his modern preconceptions founded in naturalism.
Why does it matter whether “serpent” was a snake or a “Shining One with snakey qualities” if not that one is ambiguous, the other doesn’t offend a modern person’s desire to place limits of what God can or cannot do.
The Chosen is a crowd-funded effort, unlike the WEF-funded, woke nonsense that passes for spiritual and cultural knowledge these days in our churches. The Chosen brings to life the story of Jesus and His apostles, in a poignant way that calls us to spread His Word today.
Jesus is Jesus.
I see nothing wrong with the concept of *spreading* God’s Word, as there are countless books written to reflect on Biblical teachings. As such, The Chosen is no worse, and perhaps even purer than the woke homilies and discussions held within today’s church.
I appreciate the efforts of The Chosen to bring Bible teachings to life in a simple way that brings greater understanding to the masses. Many priests and rabbis were consulted to keep the material as close to Biblical teachings as possible. Where are these anomalies you speak of?
I do not automatically dismiss this crowd funded effort to reach the masses, in a time when churches themselves are stumbling.
We can find heresy in any WEF-funded “Christian” church that trafficks slave laborers and innocent children across the border to waiting pedophiles. I welcome this grassroots effort to reach Christians during a time when Lucifer has defiled organized religion and mislead the flock.
Season 3 just started. You can download The Chosen app and watch all seasons.
It is awesome and very moving. The actor portrays Jesus better than anyone I’ve ever seen.
I gave The Chosen on YouTube ~ a quick glance. … The programming appears to be ~family suitable, and theatrically well done. According to many articles, the makers of The Chosen specifically chose Jews to appear in the series about ancient Israel, and the beginnings of the Christian Church. [Jesus incarnate as True Man is a Jew; True Man/True God.]
From the quick glance, I couldn’t say how faithful the programming is to Scripture. But, I did notice Jesus Christ did ~NOT carry a BIG SACK of King James Bibles, all around ancient Israel. Jesus Christ did NOT say, “Here read the KJV, and decide what you think about it. + Read the Bible and start your own church with your own ideas!”
Jesus Christ built the foundation of his Church in the Holy Land. From the King James Bible Matthew 16: “18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” … + We are obligated to attend a Church on Holy Days of Obligation.
The historical Christian Church (The pre-literate world) used visual works of Art and Songs = to teach about Jesus and Scripture. … Parents, now days, (In a TV & YouTube post-literate world) might find ~The Chosen~ is suitable for teaching their children about Christianity. (Appropriate songs are still good for everyone.)
When reading the Holy Bible these days, see Jesus as the teacher of God’s natural order, and we all know what the politicians and religious authorities to him.
With your loss yesterday of your family friend Rado-Thomas I was going to say that you deserve a day to step back and maybe not post, just so you could take a walk by yourself in a nature setting and reflect and re connect with Rado. I found with a similar loss that stepping into the natural world even with a good sob while you speak to that cat through your thought in your brain will help you greatly in moving forward. Brain talk (thoughts) are completely understood by Rado who will reassure and restore your strength to deal with the real world by seeing your purpose in the natural world. A higher power rebuild does miracles for anyone that just makes the effort.

As Sundance stated: “emotions are not learned; we are born with them.”
May the peace of the Holy One of Israel be with you as you travel to your eternal home brother!

Sundance, clearly you were very loved by your grandpa. He knew you needed that time with him. His lessons set you on a mission that benefits us all — the “grafted” in family.
Very interesting and poignant post. So many of us feel the same way-“out of balance”. It is comforting and hopeful to know we are not alone. A commenter a few months ago on another site (I forget which) really struck me the gist of the statement being “I feel like people don’t care about each other anymore”. I knew exactly what they meant that perhaps there is a sizeble piece of the population that may not be so inclined to “do the right thing” anymore for whatever reason. I think there are many more of us than them and we are approaching some type of showdown where things will shake out in some way. Stay frosty and keep praying.
When God places such people (withdrawn, seemingly uncaring, selfish) in our path, we can respond to those people by not showing them the same behavior but instead acting with Christian love, support and encouragement as needed and/or appropriate. We don’t expect them to be instantly grateful or even to accept any genuine positive response, but it should be our habit to do this at every opportunity.
Good advice. On days we are stronger we can share our Christian love. On days we are weaker we can take time out and recharge our batteries. Living in the present keeps us attuned to God’s plan.
I learned these things from my beloved grandmother on a hilltop farm in KY.
It seems as if rural living is becoming more and more appreciated now days.
For many decades it was mocked and avoided, rural people were red necks and hicks.
I was raised in the Arizona desert in a very isolated ranch setting and only left to attend college.
I met my husband there, he was raised in Colorado in the mountains where his family raised sheep.
We both looked for a small rural area to move to and raise our own family as soon as we could.
Living close to the natural world away from asphalt and cement was the choice we made 40 years ago, it is not for every one.
We did not think we would thrive any other way.
We did not like the noise and clutter and fuss that goes with all of the close quarters of living with so many people in the big populations of the cities.
No room to take time to still the mind and sit and think.
We raised our five sons here in our rural area, going to our small rural schools and they still managed to obtain an education that qualified them for a full scholarship to the Colorado School of Mines for their engineering degrees.
They learned to quiet their minds and then think through the bet you can.
The noise and push from the world will always be there but if you can have some kind of inner quiet and calm it helps.
Then do the best you can, and sometimes that is all you can do.
“This is the God factor in life, the thing that is bigger than ourselves, that various religions and philosophers have noted and discussed.”
If we did a good act merely from the love (or fear) of God and a belief that it is pleasing to Him, whence arises the morality of the Atheist? It is idle to say, as some do, that no such thing exists. We have the same evidence of the fact as of most of those we act on, to wit: their own affirmations, and their reasonings in support of them. I have observed, indeed, generally, that while in Protestant countries the defections from the Platonic Christianity of the priests is to Deism, in Catholic countries they are to Atheism. Diderot, D’Alembert, D’Holbach, Condorcet, are known to have been among the most virtuous of men. Their virtue, then, must have had some other foundation than love (or fear) of God.
– Thomas Jefferson, letter to Thomas Law, June 13, 1814
Since the wife passed (5yrs)..I find myself in reflection of my life.. I don’t know if my mom or someone else told me I was the “inquisitive “ type..but yrs ago I came to that conclusion.. always asking “why”.. I now realize I have come to this late hour of life (87)…and could NOT be any happier with my travel through my life..I constantly thank GOD for providing the choices (free will) to arrive here… enough … thank you for your thoughtful analysis of your trip..it fits me to a T 🤣👍
🇺🇸💪😀👍
Your life story sounds like it could be interesting, maybe you can share if you have time or are inclined too
I “second” Yohiobaseball’s request below! We’d greatly benefit from hearing your story!
“Dear dad, we are attempting to tame the shrewd“
Ah… now we know where Sundance’s gift for turning a phrase came from. 🙂
“Penguins are birds that needed to swim, not fly, so they evolved wings into flippers; but man’s emotions were present from day one and never wavered.”
If that’s true, then why weren’t penguins born with flippers from day one?
If penguins *needed* to swim (not fly), then how did they survive the length of time necessary for a monkey to evolve into Piltdown Man — wait, sorry, wrong story — how did penguins survive long enough to ‘evolve’ flippers, if it is true that they *needed* to swim?
Signed,
Curious
Anhinga.. I have visiting a pond in my back yard… it dives in and hunts fish… comes out and sits on a branch and dries out it’s wings…what’s your problem?
🇺🇸💪😀👍
If you are getting at how could God’s creation contain ‘imperfect’ creations that need to ‘evolve’, try to consider from another angle – adaptation. [Bear in mind the documented history, many time in perverts like Darwin’s own writings, of their agendas and/or obvious mental defectiveness. Words like ‘evolution’ and ‘natural selections’ have been used to disconnect Creation from the Creator in people’s minds and thought processes]
I agree with you on ‘evolution’, including a limb or wing changing into a ‘flipper’ [The penguin’s wing was designed by the Creator to fly though water, not air]- I am waiting for one actual, real example of direct hard evidence of ‘evolution’ of any creature (including microscopic organisms).
No wonder why intelligent people get confused or confuse themselves and feel ‘disharmony’, etc…
Does someone need to explain Ducks to you?
yeah the fossil record should be MOSTLY filled with transitional fossils since it takes time for fish to turn into frogs for example but in fact there aren’t ANY transitional fossils.
no, penguins were designed to do what they do from the very start and what they do they do very well
They are another kind that God made as a joke to confound the “wise”, just like the platypus…”Here dudes, another curve ball that cannot possibly be explained by the magic of blind random chance”
THX1138, you’ll appreciate the explanations in Ch. 15 of Grudem’s book, Systematic Theology. Really impressive!

Just got back from a weekend road trip to see family we are fond of and have the moral character to make hard decisions and stick with them, come hell or high water. I found myself silently nodding as I was reading. I’ll read a couple more times. Thanks to all and a hat tip to Sundance.
Just one quote I’ll leave here, as Tucker rightly spoke on how important beauty is…which is why fascists wish to destroy it, why everything they touch becomes degraded and ugly.
Every single thing.
“Beauty matters. It is not just a subjective thing but a universal need of human beings. If we ignore this need we find ourselves in a spiritual desert.”
~the late, very much lamented Roger Scruton~
Exactly so, Professor. Thank you.
Most definitely agree!
Dr Theodore Dalrymple (aka Dr Anthony
Daniels), a British psychiatrist who worked in HMS Prison Service, now retired, and a prolific writer about the human condition, is a contributor to Taki Magazine and City Journal.
Long ago he wrote a lengthy article about post WWII architecture in British cities, and how the sheer ugliness of it contributed to the terrible demise of civilized behaviour and social standards of those who lived in the high rise boxes …small, drab, soulless flats where people were packed in like sardines…which were erected everywhere to house those who had lost everything during the war.
He, along with Professor Scruton, knew what the complete absence of beauty looked like. Both were eloquent in their exploring the long lasting consequences of a dearth of something which must be encouraged and preserved if civilization itself is to survive.
Beauty is as essential for our souls as breathing is for our bodies. I really believe that, phoenix, as I know you do.
Exactly right on point. This was part of the list of COMMUNIST goals read into the Congressional Record in 1963. I wished everyone would become aware of all 45 on the list, because they have all been or are currently being accomplished by the Great Reset, NWO, BBB, WEF global Marxist. They just tweaked a few to apply to this time period in history. Here are the two that are relevant and pertain to your comment;
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
The purpose of this and the other 43 is to tear down the American culture, belief in Almighty God, destroy the family structure, morality, etc. in order to “Build Back Better” under the control of the worlds tyrants by gradual steps or should I say by “progressive” steps unnoticed until it is ingrained and too late to stop.
Reading these 45 goals and applying them to what is happening now is eye opening and frightening but explains the upside down insanity that now seems to infest our country.
It took them long enough, didn’t it. Little by little…then, per the last two years, all at once.
I was unaware of this, WV. Thank you for enlightening me. These amoral, vicious philistine are nothing else if not persistent.
So true Betsey jones.
They seem to promote everything vulgar and ugly in every way possible.
Not only ugly building’s and ugly artwork but also rude, uncouth language and dress and entertainment.
Violent and vicious behavior that also promote’ ugly, creepy sexually inappropriate expression’ for our children just about every where and every way they can.
Like you say Amoral, Vicious Philistine’s.
Truth, Chloe. Even unto trying to corrupt and mutilate our gifts from God. It really doesn’t get any uglier or more amoral than that. Destroying the purest beauty of all…innocence.
Soviet building post WW 2, also North Korea has a soul killing ugliness. It’s a great point to ponder.
“Walk with beauty all around you.” ~ Navajo blessing.
How utterly lovely, MissBehave. Thank you.
If we lift our eyes from the day to day, the beauty of Almighty God’s magnificent creation is always around us. A highly recommended endeavour. So good for the soul which it feeds.
And if one is in a place where it is not easily seen because it is subsumed by all the ugliness of man’s desecration, then there is literature, art, music. So worth making the effort to search those out.
Good Advice for Anyone that can see beyond the horizon or looks up in the sky.
The Native Indians are not really any “wiser” than anybody else, it’s just that they were here 1st & they are more familiar with “the landscape”.
If they were, then they would not allow their “Tribal System of Government” to be set up in such a way that “The Chiefs” keep most of the $$$ that the Taxpayers GIVE to the Indian Reservations, for Themselves & their Friends & the rest of the Band lives in Poverty on the Reservation.
It’s the same story every year… “The Natives complain about the Poor Conditions that they are living under on the Reservations & the “White Man” feels guilty that “he stole this land from the Indians” & gives even MORE Taxpayers $$$ this fiscal year to try to make life better on the Reservations! And this Cycle is repeated every year, with no end in sight. And don’t get me started on the Indian Casinos, like Fort McDowell near Phoenix AZ!
Is this starting to sound like how Obama got “elected” to anyone here?
IMO, Life is nothing but a Scam & you have to treat everyone as a Crook & IF you are lucky in life, then you MAY have enough left over, to pass on to the next generation.
Years ago, I started to write a “self-help book” about my own experiences in life, but I’m quickly realizing that someone has already beat me to it & now I feel like I’m “re-living my own life in a Disney Fairy Tale sort of way”?
Anyone here know who these people are? And what would motivate them to do this sort of thing to a fellow human being?
I’ve always tried to stay out of “Politics & Religion” for obvious reasons & now I feel like “a nice guy has been turned into a “prick”, and that’s not the Real Me.
That is why radical Islam covers up women and destroys beautiful works of art and does not allow music, poetry , and any other forms of creative beauty.
A very astute truth, sinkingship.
Beauty is where our senses go to rest
Oh yes…wonderfully said, SupY’all.
And you have reminded me why it is also that those who detest beauty in all its forms have seized control of our language. It is an essential tool for them to reshape our world into a hideous, joyless, soul destroying place.
If only people would recognize this…
And do not deprive yourself of music! It heals and gives hope at the same time.
Music is in every way the passion in this house, Barb. We thrive on it. For us, it is life. Our preference is classical, the music and voices of times past which are given short shrift these days. What passes for it today is ugly and cacaphonous. As intended? I don’t know…
How right you are.
Here you go, Barb…Enjoy. Beautiful!!😌
Somehow I could hear Rado meowing in the background as I read this .
I can’t believe how Tucker has gr0wn spiritually, intellectually, in all ways. So much of what he said really resonated with me. I like his cheerful countenance. I keep thinking something is going to ‘break’ as everything man builds falls. So the currrent Tower of Babel is doomed to failure and destruction. Don’ know when or how, but in a blink of the eye, it will all change.
Never underestimate the power of prayer. I worked for a prayer ministry for a couple of years and I can testify to all the “cures” and changes of fortunes that seem to happen when prayer is introduced. Stay focused stay cheerful stay resolute stay positive. I do think this is what Trump has going for him…his positive and uplifting attitude…it can carry you a long way. (and I would be remiss to not say ditto Mike Lindell).
Happy warriors.
This is why I so often take little swipes at eeyores on this site (I admit it). I loved what Tucker said about a duty to be cheerful.
I’ve never read The Power of Positive Thinking, which I understand was a big influence on PDJT – but my guess is that it says much the same thing.
I noticed the change in Tucker when he left DC and moved to Maine. Sundance and Tucker keep me sane. Jesus Christ sustains me thru everything. I feel there is a great awakening taking place.
God bless you and hold you always under his watchful, loving eyes, Sundance. 🙏

I’ve posted this in the past whether here or on Twitter.
You know who I am as I express my opinions openly and wear them on my sleeve proudly.
I grew up in a place that was one of if not the greatest places to grow up in. And at a time that unfortunately will probably never be replicated.
My Grandad was a Bazooka-man at the Remagen bridge and fought Nazis in Germany not here in America as we are. He always said to me that they/we/America might have defeated Hitler but they will return Son.
He was one of my best friends growing up. Taught me to love America, fish and play golf. All of which are my favorite 3 things to this day.
Grandpa died my Senior year of High School two days after I turned 18. He was only 66 years old.
As God as my witness 👀
I’ll be damned if his and other Patriots trials and tribulations will end with what I’m witnessing Right Here Right Now!
It’s just not going to happen.
People must get good with God and Get on with it ASAP!
This Republic WILL NOT FALL TO THESE COMMUNIST HEATHENS TODAY NOR TOMORROW!
His great grandchildren aka my adult children might not understand how and even why but Sundance it’s up to us to make sure that our beloved America stays the Greatest Country in all of History. Written and not yet Written 👀🫵🏼🙌🏼
I’m 6+ Generations into this ride on this soil and I’LL BE DAMNED IF A NAZI LIKE KLAUS SCHWAB IS GOING TO DICTATE HOW WE THE PEOPLE WILL OR WON’T LIVE OUR LIVES!!!
As Doc said to Wyatt and I Steven Parrish will say to you as I said to ElRushbo…
Thanks for always being there 🫵🏼🙌🏼
Love and Prayers to you and yours Sundance.
Merry Christmas and may
Every Sunrise bring you Hope and Every Sunset bring you Peace…
God “IS” good ALL the TIME 🙌🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️🙌🏼

From my heart I thank you for your Patriotism and your love of our Country. 🇺🇸 We need more people with your beliefs. God Bless you 🙏🏻
❤️
A heartfelt thanks and much deep gratitude to your Grandpa Steven.
I also will not let his sacrifice go by the wayside and will not let some creepy weirdo like Schawb swish his feeble way into our lives and the lives of my kids and grandkids and tell them and me how to live our lives.
My Dad was in the 101st Airborne and was dropped behind the German lines, chasing Hitler across Europe.
He did not talk much at all about the war and had very bad nightmares until I was about ten years old, that would keep him up at night.
Our Mom told us not to ask him any questions about the war, to leave him alone because he had to work it out.
So we did.
We were kids and did not care about that anyway, it seemed so long ago to us because as kids anything that happened before we were born did not matter to us.
But now it matters to us and we wished we knew more and had cared more.
But it is not too late for us to make sure the sacrifice of my Dad and that of your Grandpa was not given uselessly.
And like you I will do so.
Every Day is a bright hope for the future.
God Bless America!
Amen 🙌🏼 yeah Grandpa didn’t speak much of the war because he like so many were traumatized in ways most will never understand including me growing up. But, I like you understand enough now to never ever let what they went through to die in vain.
Love to you and your family and may God continue to bless our Beloved Nation!
❤️🙏🏼❤️

To bring ourselves and our minds closer to “God’s natural order.” it helps to be able to be in nature.
A walk in the woods often brings out the urge to have a talk with God.
Being in the city often disconnects people from God and each other.
Sir: As always, I appreciate your insightful commentary, advice, instruction, and wisdom. But I believe that, although we may be born with the capacity of feeling (and expressing) emotions, including the senses of basic fairness, honesty, and even truth and love; nevertheless, we must still LEARN the appropriate methods of experiencing them–hence your parents and grandfather’s stepping in to provide instruction and direction. Yours was the blessings of devotion and love: Something the world, or rather those who wish to destroy the world, is trying to abolish. “Live your best life,” as you say, is difficult enough even with the best of breeding. I trust it can be achieved even in the absence of good guidance and examples. But it behooves us all, regardless of our own family origins and upbringing, to strive to find our way toward worthy, basic, universal values. This is, I dare say, the most important work before us. Thank you again for your uplifting words!
You’re the glue, Sundance.
What drives me nuts is seeing children, from two to ten, using “smart” phones as gaming stations in grocery carts and parks. There’s a lot to learn about God’s powerful world, right there in front of us if we pay attention, but parents find it easier to charge a plastic babysitter and hand it to curious, eager learners. My Mom: “Turn off that tv and go outside!”
Thanks again, Mom.
Amen
“But when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads, because your redemption is at hand.” — Luke 21:28
Photo below taken by me while on vacation in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee years ago, right after pulling into the parking lot of a church I couldn’t find and had prayed for help to find it.
Were you surprised by this, my friend? I suspect not. Grateful, yes…surprised? No😌
Chaos serves the State.
Peace and quiet is the aspiration of the weak, of the poor man.
You will own nothing and be happy describes our looming return to feudalism.
The feudal Lord owns everything, and decides if you will live or die depending on your loyalty to him, to the State, based on your social credit score. Lord Trudeau seized Canadians’ bank accounts because they were disloyal and protested against him.
Only a liberal democracy in a free country offers the possibility of freedom from chaos, because you have the ultimate freedom: the freedom to rely on yourself, and be secure from the tyranny of the State.
I’m from the government and I’m here to help you. That’s chaos.
Only their PLANNED temporary Chaos, like the “Summer of Love” filled with “mostly peaceful protestors” burning down the cities and spreading fear (terrorism) of the Left and the lack of virtuous compliance to their ideology of death and destruction.
Real chaos is not a problem, it is part of the freedom and the free will of choice God granted each and every one of us.
Chaos is more against control freaks of government than free men living their best lives without shackles. The Chaos and Anarchy is not part of the government control because it is less government and more self responsibility and freedom.
I suppose it’s natural for an intensively curious man to find companionship with the animal kingdom’s premier curiosity seeking member … the CAT!
Love this! 🙂
Looking for Tucker Carlson’s speech at that link I came across Laura Ingraham’s. I’m watching it now, it’s excellent.
Sometimes it doesn’t seem that way, but God is in control. We can’t force God to heed to our will, but when it comes to his will, nothing can stop it. Prayer is the first thing we should turn to in times of crises.
Hope in Christ gets me through every day!
“Penguins are birds that needed to swim, not fly, so they evolved wings into flippers;”
Yes, I totally agree.
I was watching a nature show and they said whales are descendants of dogs .
Dogs hunted the shore line for fish and the developed flippers and evolved into the largest mammals on earth, whales.
….
“born with an inherent natural gift to feel emotion”
yes..
The masking of our children is hiding the natural face readings of emotion.
I will never forgive or forget this.
there’s no “needed” in evolution.
there’s no directing force
“nature” is not a person
it is only blind, random, meaningless chance
evolution is not even magic
it’s just nothingness, just like baking soda reacting with vinegar
The silliness they push, evolution.
Ever wonder, if they think we are descendants from monkeys… why have we stopped evolving at man? Why did the whales stop after dog? So true Stu, just nothingness. They just pick and choose the narrative for their evil purposes.
Walk everyday with Jesus. God’s plan is the only plan.
Thank you, Sundance. Our birth-gift is the seed planted inside us when we debut in this world, by none other than God Himself. It is just this inborn awareness of right and wrong, good and evil, that is our kickstart and that of which you speak. It is the gift that seperates us from the lower animals, the distinction between instinct and self-awareness. The ‘I’ that you come to know early in life is manifest out of this innate knowledge.
The ‘still small voice’ that I am always banging on about is indeed tiny and subtle, and must be listened for and cultivated. ‘I’ must learn to hear and trust it instantly and implicitly; it is always the first thing that we hear as we move into and thru situations, and is easily drowned out by the ‘Sturm und Drang’ surrounding us.
It is ever present, always there, and is easily mistaken for intuition or gut feel. It is indeed, the direct Voice of God advising us of course in every situation. It is your lifeboat in the storm, and requires maintenance. Getting away, to quiet places, special places and states of mind, is absolutely necessary to keep the tiny flame burning.
As we ignore it, our life begins to go wrong and badly; things fall apart, the center cannot hold (thank you, Yeats…). The falcon cannot hear the falconer – we are the falcon, God is the falconer.
Especially in these difficult times, reestablish contact with the still small voice inside yourself. Listen for it, test it, think back upon it when things go wrong, and learn to build trust and dependence upon it. It is Diogenese’s Lamp, the lighthouse on the rocky shore, the predawn light after the dark night of the soul. Engage with it, and you are in fellowship with God Himself, whispering Truth in every second of your life.
The only true and good life is a God-knowing and God-fearing life. In the words of my rock, my anchor thru near death of late, “Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the House of the Lord forever.”
What a beautiful outcome! The fear of Death has vanished.
Thank you for such a beautiful and timely post. Would love to adopt your Grandad, and thank you for sharing his wisdom with us all.
Yes! I second that emotion. 🙂
Sundance is the C.S. Lewis of our generation. The Sundance version of C.S. Lewis’s moral objectivity. Thank you SUNDANCE!!
I once heard, or read, that chaos is a sign of the presence of the devil.
Its absolutely true what he said about the worst things that happen to you turn out to be the doorway to a bigger more beautiful world.
I was fired, so while looking for a “real”job took a job in a floral shop. Which led to a forty year career of pure joy.
A stillbirth threw me into a catatonic depression, where I found God.
Today came news of my ex husbands death, resulting in my estranged daughter having me to her house, and her reconnecting with her only
brother to figure out what to do.
I was thinking just yesterday about the chaos the whole world seems to be in. I suspect someone wants us to be off balance so they can take advantage of us. Its 99 percent man made chaos.
So I have stepped back from placing my hope in any mans effort to fix this.
It seems futile.
If we turn to the LIVING God with our whole heart, not despising his inspired word, he promises his perfect peace even in the presence of my enemies.
Even tho they be many.
God closes and opens doors. His will, every time. and I am grateful.
Understand, you have found a great Truth, sister.
The agenda of today’s left is the mass extinguishment of 8 billion human beings. Everything points to this, including their own explicit statements.
Thanks for sharing the video.
I watched the clip from last night on who would Tucker choose. I thought it was pretty good.
Listening to the full presentation-it’s excellent!!
I recommend that everyone watch it. So much truth and insight.
Sundance you do say much of the same, only in a different manner—
“Live your best life “.
Chaos breeds chaos.
When you recognize it–step back.
Take a walk and look up. Watch a sunset or sunrise. It is the simple things in life that ground us.
I love the – Be still and know—
My emotions today is that President John Trump was and has been treated terrible and the democrats sense it but there evil inside blocks that sense.
The light has come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light because their deeds are evil.
For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light unless his deeds shall be exposed
John 19-21
Just to clarity, I am not equating Trump to Jesus, but we all have a light within us and it attracts evil which cannot comprehend it. So it hates it.
Prayers for President Trump. He needs our support and prayers as the dark directly attacks him and us.
O Sundance what a moving message for this 4th Advent Sunday. I pray you and your family have a safe and Blessed Christmas and beyond into 2023. And all Treepers here whether you are Christian or of other faiths I do wish all a better more enlightened 2023. I say may God bless all who seek out justice and truth.
May the G-d of ALL comfort bless you stargirl46!
Someone posted this on CTH a few days ago and it resonated with me so much that I saved it and have already shared it with several other people…being one of the people who has always been in the third group, I found myself nodding all through Sundance’s post! People who ask too many questions tend to make people uncomfortable, both because they don’t know the answers but also, I think, because it never occurred to them to not simply accept whatever they were told!
“There are three ways of arriving at an opinion on any subject. The first is to believe what one is told; the second is to disbelieve it; and the third is to examine the matter for oneself. The overwhelming majority of mankind practice the first method; of the remainder, the overwhelming majority practice the second; only an infinitesimal remnant practice the third.
To believe what one is told is the right method for most people in regard to most questions. I believe there is a place called Vladivostok because the atlas says so and because I have met apparently veracious people who assert that they have been there. But if I were engaged in making a survey of eastern Siberia for the Soviet Government, I should have to verify the existence of Vladivostok for myself. Believing what one is told is proper whenever there is a consensus except in matters on which one is a professional expert. In many of the most important questions there is a local but not a world-wide consensus.
To disbelieve what one is told is the method of the rebel and as a general practice has nothing to recommend it. Wisdom is not achieved by refusing to believe that 2 and 2 make 4, or that there is such a place as Vladivostok. When the authorities are unanimous, they are usually right; when they are not, the plain man does well to suspend judgement. A general habit of intellectual rebellion is more foolish than a general habit of intellectual acquiescence, and if it became common it would make civilization impossible.
It is wise, however, to feel some degree of doubt, greater or less according to circumstances, as regards even universally accepted opinion. Few things seemed more firmly established than the Newtonian theory of gravitation, yet it turned out to need correction. The rational man, in such cases, acts upon the accepted opinion but is willing to give a hearing to anyone who advances serious reasons against it.
Rationality is shown not so much in what you believe as in how you believe it. You are rational if you believe it on evidence and as firmly as the evidence warrants and if, further, your belief leads you to act only in ways which are no obstacle to the discovery of error.
Freedom of opinion is important, since, without it, no generally received error can ever be corrected; therefore no belief should be so firmly held as to lead to persecution of those who reject it. But so long as freedom of opinion is safeguarded, all except professional experts have a better chance of being right if they accept than if they reject the prevalent opinion.”
Bertrand Russell’s American Essays 1931–1935, Vol. II, Essay. 37: What to Believe, p. 454 (24 August 1931)
I homeschooled both of my sons and the oldest always needed to know the “WHY” behind the assignment or the “HOW” of the process to find the answer. He is still that way to this day, which makes him very good at his job and a very interesting person in conversations.
My younger son, much to my dismay, simply wanted to know enough to be able to get to the “expected” answer and because he was academically gifted, that was usually a fairly short and simple process for him. But his lack of intellectual curiosity worried me greatly and I tried desperately to start a fire in his heart to REALLY understand and to love learning for its own sake but it never took hold in his heart.
Sadly, now, he has walked away from his faith (which we were always concerned was NOT his own, but simply a repetition of whatever we said or the pastor said, delivered sincerely at the time, but not penetrating to bone and marrow, as it must for each of each!) And during C0v1d, he was all in on the masks and he and his wife were first in line for all the jabs as soon as they could get them. I, of course, being me, pushed back, asked questions, shared research, and tried desperately to engage him in conversations that he did NOT want to have! Like so many other families, we are now completely torn asunder and no longer see them, even though they live 15 minutes away from us. The refusal to examine oneself, the lazy acceptance of whatever the popular trend of the day may be, and the deadly combination of arrogance and ignorance has undone everything we poured into him for the first 20+ years of his life. My heart is broken and all I can do is pray that God, in His mercy, do what He needs to do to get him to the end of himself….
I’m really sorry for what’s happening between you and your son.
You’ve done everything you could to equip him for this life, but people just make their own choices.
And you are not alone in having this issue. I’ve seen many times this situation happening in all sorts of families – from your normal fellow Christians to pastors and missionaries. Even John Piper’s son is openly mocking Christianity on social media.
I have a friend with a similar family situation. Her son will not talk to her over the phone, her daughter will not even do that. Her heart is broken also…
there’s a saying…”if there is no questioning going on then there is no thinking being done”
I hear and feel for you. My two daughters, one of which was so dear to me, have both become, what alas I call “woketards” have become estranged from myself and my wife. IT HURTS beyond comprehension as the one with our only two grandsons now keep them from us. But My Lord and Savior is great and kind and loving and will make this right somehow, as He works in truly mysterious ways, does he not?
The chaos was fabricated by the powers seeking to guide it.

Both are now up.
If you watch this, consider that, they have admitted defeat.
He pretends the ideas of outcomes they preach are new + revolutionary, but they are the same things they have been predicting for a long time. That capable people were going to come to understand people + nature to the point of Knowledge that they would become the masters of nature (+ everyone else).
Just like Climate Change, their their predictions have failed to materialize.
They are admitting that when they tell you – now – they have to get under your skin + into your brain with technology to achieve the Knowledge + Omnipotence + Eternal Life that is there just do thwarted by the lesser beings who cling to their disinformation + superstitions.
My fountain of my disinformation wrote down warnings for me thousands of years ago that are playing out today.
They will get inside me over my dead body.
They are confirming my faith. Not destroying it…

‘Emotions are not learned; we are born with them.’
Exactly. I have always equated what we feel as our ‘soul’ — a Direct Communication With, From, To God.
That millions of people are masking their emotions with pills is where a lot of issues stem. I think anti-depressants are ‘soul-killers’, although that, too, is determined by the individual soul as to whether that is their intention, in truth.
The nastiness of humans against one another in this day and age has a lot to do with a damaged soul — from whatever source — and a ‘good time’ to offer up prayers to Our Father for those who need ‘Soul Restoration’ is today and everyday . . .
Debra, then pray for me then. I have become so hardened of heart. It’s so tough as my own two daughters have risen against me. Not allowed to see my grandsires, as well as my wife. My kids are “woke” don’t ya know! may G_d have mercy on us and our country!!!!
Many years ago, I suffered severe depression, as result of abusive childhood. In my case, anti-depressant rx was life-saving; however, I had only six weeks of Christian counseling. Then, began a life long study of God’s Word, which transformed my mind and healed my broken heart. Didn’t need anti-depressants any longer! Praise God…
I recently read an article of how many anti-depressants are being dispensed in our country today. Astounding.
I wonder if many people are just taking the pill without doing the necessary, hard work of searching their heart and soul to see what problems they are masking with the medication, rather than giving them to God.
And there was a psychiatric journal in my doctor’s waiting room. The cover said something like: What if King David had been on Prozac? Would we still have the Psalms?
I’ve thought about that many times.
I love how your words are so eloquently said. If I can read an experience from someone and get the feeling I’m there in the room with them, during that period of time. We all have much more in common than we have differences.
I find myself, especially here recently, reflecting on how to move forward, dodging all the insane BS that the Cabal throws at us daily, and I’ve noticed a calmer me, a more thoughtful me. My children and grandchildren and husband deserve these things from me, especially right now at this pivotal moment in history.
I do not wear my religious views on my sleeve, and never have, but my wish is for everyone to have the experience (the REAL experience) of their revelation of God Almighty…seeing it, tasting the air, feeling it, knowing it. That is my wish.
Turning Point, the Charlie Kirk GRIFT!!! 😝
Tucker Carlson said that it was obvious that the Dems would do badly in the mid-terms because of the problems they have caused. And I say if it hadn’t been for the reversal of Roe v Wade we would have had a much better outcome. Young people turned out in droves. I reported on election evening that when I entered my polling place there were an estimated 200 young people standing in line waiting to register and vote. I used to be a Dem, if I were young now I would have voted on that one issue and I would have voted Dem on my entire ballot. This is how Dems vote. Laura Ingraham pointed out how loyal they are. They voted for Fetterman!
The silver lining is that fewer unborn babies are being tortured and murdered now.
Does that mean that we need to compromise on what is true and good?
That’s exactly why Tucker said that something much darker is happening in the society. The culture of death is on the rise.
We need to win elections.
We won’t vote our way out of this. Be prepared my friend!
I disagree with you. We’ve already made good progress in the House. But the Senate is still a big problem. As I wrote in another comment section, a mere 342k people in Kentucky foisted McConnell on us again by making him win the GOP primary in 2020, and we’re stuck with the a-hole until 2026. We absolutely must put pressure on stupid voters to fix their voting. We can’t have nice things if people are unwilling to primary the RINOs. It’s part of the two-prong voting strategy, to primary the RINOs and then during general elections unseat as many Dems as possible. If we just did this every two years we would see much more progress.
“The culture of death is on the rise.” Truer words have never been spoken. Look at Canada’s “mercy killings” for something as possible fleeting as mental health, on demand no less. Coming to a clinic near you soon I’m afraid.
you really think the midterms were legit! lol
Once again a pointless comment. You will be added to my list of people whose comments I will no longer read. A waste of my time. When I see your name I’ll just automatically bypass.
After 4 years of biden, and his shit economic and foreign policy, there’s likely to be some buyers remores there in that crowd. How much, however, is an open question.
Silver lining indeed would seem true, but I fear most women who want to abort their baby will find a way to get it done even if they have to travel across state lines.
The reversal of Roe v. Wade was required to remain Constitutional. It is correctly a state issue; not a federal one. There is much more federal law that is also unconstitutional but has not yet gained sufficient national pressure to reverse. I’d say the outright killing of innocent babies is a high priority issue for a nation that tries to consider itself a moral one, even if that is not accurate.
The Left’s lie about the SCOTUS decision was that it removed all women’s right to murder their babies; however, it did not. It merely remanded the decision about abortion regulation back to the states, where it belonged all along. Too many (seems like the majority) young people are motivated by lies because they believe them and do not seek the truth; they are intellectually lazy or vapid altogether. If the abortion court case had not occurred, the Left would have easily found another Big Lie with which to persuade gullible young people to turn out…. or just cheated more at the polls.
I think a lot of women in the states that no longer allow abortions will actually be more careful. Those who still wish to be careless will probably start being careful after that first experience of needing to travel long distance to have their unborn baby tortured and murdered. Even if there are no complications, the abortion procedure is hard on a woman’s body. A college friend of mine had hard-core bleeding for days after the procedure, and horrible cramping.
If you watch Tucker’s entire presentation at Amfest, instead of just the response to the Trump vs. DeSantis question, you will see that he fully admits he was wrong about his midterms prediction.
Furthermore, he feels badly and embarrassed about it and says he is now out of the prediction business.
Much self-reflection going on there. A lot of change and growth, seems to me.
He wasn’t wrong!!!
He admitted he was wrong but he didn’t mention the impact of the abortion issue. It was a big factor. That’s why all of the Dem candidates’ campaign ads focused on abortion even for offices that would have nothing to do with controlling abortions.
