I have written and deleted a thousand words, repeatedly, in an effort to encapsulate what this moment means to me, and perhaps to others. However, when you boil the essence of the thing down to its important part, you are left with a question: Which American politician loves this country more than Donald John Trump?
The honest answer is ‘no one’.
There’s not a force of man or nature as strong in its devotion to a mission, as Donald Trump is to this nation. That’s the core, the heart, the genuine essence of the thing, that separates President Trump from all others. Within that love of country, is a strength of determination that is almost uncanny to witness; and from that love of country an authenticity emanates that is impossible to duplicate.
Donald J Trump is, quite simply, unapologetically American – and tens of millions just love him for it.
Tonight, with his family by his side, President Donald Trump announced his intention to seek the GOP nomination in 2024 and run for President of the United States.

Yes, I don’t give a flying flip what any detractor of this nation might try to say, Donald Trump is exactly what we need.
Many people are exhausted from the battle to save this republic. Many people are frustrated and despondent from the scale of the effort it takes to push back against the metastatic corruption that has infected our entire body politic. Even more people are sick and tired of having to constantly look behind the duplicitous motives and conniving schemes of the professional political class who falsely claim to represent our interests. For all of those people Trump kneels and says, ‘get on my back and rest for a moment’.
We don’t have to question his intentions; we do not have to doubt his motives; we do not have to worry about his goal with the America-First agenda. We know when Trump succeeds, our lives and the lives of our family improves. Period.
Now, contrast that feeling of deep assurance and Main Street economic stability against the reality of a current, conniving, self-interested Wall Street political class as the reference, and ask yourself what is that feeling of assurance worth? It’s priceless.
You see, back in 2015 when Donald Trump first announced his intention to run for the presidency the following year, the assembly on these pages had spent years fighting against the corrupt republican political establishment while most just strolled by oblivious to it. We assembled as The Last Refuge, and we immediately spotted the possibility Donald J Trump represented.
One of the first 2015 responses about Trump I shared to a friend who didn’t follow politics closely but was essentially and ally in outlook, was that Donald Trump could show up to the first GOP debate in 5″ heels and a Carmen Miranda hat and start dancing on Jeb Bush’s podium, and Trump would earn my vote.
I felt that way because I could see the cancerous rot that was destroying the working class and simultaneously infecting the Republican party.
Severe measures would be needed to counteract this Machiavellian political construct in DC that was only getting worse. We needed a major disruption and Donald Trump was ideal for that role.
As I look at the 2024 landscape, what I see different is what I see better. Just about everyone now sees the level of corruption that exists in the apparatus of government, thanks to President Trump’s first term in office.
Additionally, President Trump purged the conniving DeceptiCons, the duplicitous Republicans who existed to maintain the UniParty, by forcing the GOPe liars to expose themselves in his opposition. No longer is a conversation needed to convince people that most politicians are part of one DC UniParty apparatus. Two wings of the same corrupt vulture feeding on the carcass of our republic. Everyone can see that now, thanks to Donald Trump.
Despite their refusal to accept reality, the Bush, Cheney, McConnell, McCain, Romney Republican Party is gone. Donald Trump destroyed it. The Republican Party will never again be the Bush-Romney Republican Party. Donald Trump opened the door, and the working-class has moved in to take control. The Republican party is not going back to the Bush/Romney outlook, regardless of how much Mitch McConnell tries to scheme its return.
We need a Big Ugly wrecking ball to unseat the corrupt power structures that Trump alone made visible. There is no other person in this era of our nation’s history with the capacity to do that. Only Donald J Trump has the energy and fortitude to carry out this fight.
President Trump is the people’s response to The Great Reset by saying, “like hell you will.”

President Trump should not apologize for ANYTHING related to covid. The whole world was terrified of this scourge, and governments all over the world were desperately trying to find a solution. President Trump took advice from all of the so-called experts, including the CEO’s of many major pharmaceutical companies. How could he know which solutions would prove to be helpful or that some would be harmful? His expertise is not in healthcare. It’s easy for these vultures to look backward and try to fault him. If they had better solutions, they should have stepped up and presented them.
The best course of action is to support him over and over and over again. Any reasonable person knows that he is not to blame for anything related to this tragedy that swept over the world. All others will never change their minds anyhow.

It’s so easy for the Monday morning quarterbacks to criticize Trump. They forget what it was like in the early months of the pandemic. People were dropping like flies, especially in Italy. China built an entire hospital in like one or two weeks just to house all of the sick people in Wuhan. (When I heard that news in mid-Jan I ordered N95 masks!)
Trump was criticized for not taking action but also criticized for taking action. It was Nancy Pelosi and other Dems who were opposed to Trump’s travel ban, Pelosi was urging Chinese people to travel to San Francisco for the Chinese New Year.
A vaccine would have been great. Unfortunately big pharma was focused on mRNA technology and spotted a good opportunity to use the entire world’s population as lab rats. If it had been a conventional vaccine it would have been far more successful. That wasn’t Trump’s error, he doesn’t own a pharmaceutical company, he’s not a pharmacologist or virus expert, he had to rely on experts, and the experts were all pushing the novel fake vaccine. Trump had no choice. There was no time to test that thing for years, and nobody was producing a conventional vaccine.
Trump was also dealing with hard-core persecution by the Dems. Already multiple official “investigations”, Sessions/Mueller debacle, and more crap.

If you were watching Italy early on during the COVID outbreak, you missed the most important statistic, which came out just at the time Italians were, as you say, “dropping like flies.”
The average age of death from COVID in Italy was older than average life expectancy. So, would this mean we should all want to get COVID so we could live longer?? (Of course not, that is absurd). That one statistic told me the whole thing was a scam, no “pandemic” was occurring.
As for the “vaccine,” you just do not take an untested shot. You just do not do that. Only a practicing physician would know this, and Fauci is no practicing physician.

FAUCI does, Fauci was the one who lied and said if enough people were vaccinated we’d have herd immunity, which is impossible because it doesn’t cause immunity in any person who receives it. But for vulnerable people it did mitigate the worst symptoms. It has value, it’s just not needed by everyone.

In PA they just voted on allowing ballot harvesting up to 100 ballots at a time and counting harvested nursing home ballots on sight. Trump needs to start talking about ballot harvesting right now because if the demonic rats see that the republicans will use ballot harvesting then maybe there will be a discussing on the subject. In order to win 270 electoral votes, the Republicans need to fire Ronna ROMNEY McDaniel and hire their own “Marc Elias”implementing a major ballot harvesting campaign in all the swing states, with an emphasis on early voting. I have Just 2 questions about Trump and his capacity for recognizing
where the threat is coming from. The media, which has had the long knives out for him since 2015, yet he continues to grant them access why? More importantly, he could have set in motion a system for dismantling the deep state, yet, he did not and despite their on-going effort to destroy him, he continued taking advice from them. Why?
DeSantis is a fighter but not for MAGA.
Desantis has not mentioned Trump since Trump helped him get elected. He campaigned for a never Trumper that the rinos were pushing. Every article, news station, and the elites are pushing him to run. That tells me all I need to know. Good for Florida but I will will not vote for another hand picked leader.
DeSantis never mentions President Trump, MAGA or America First. As Governor, he never pushed back on the Biden regime for the political raid on Mar-A-Lago in his backyard, Palm Beach. That is a problem for me.
Desantis is a politician through and through. An opportunist. Someone who wants power.
But he was too cowardly or too weak to stand up to the illegal FBI Mar-O-Lago raid.
DeSantis is the candidate of the billionaire class, the 0.1%.
If you want George Bush 3 ,then DeSantis is your guy.

I think he grants the access knowing their followers will watch and wanting to take opportunities to say things that would make people think. Not always successful but sometimes it works. As far as dismantling the deep state, perhaps the thought was to get America moving forward and strong again, build additional confidence in citizens so they knew it what his Administration’s policies that were working and this was the best path for America, then it would have been easier to get America to turn course. But the Deep State was a tougher nut to crack and they successfully managed to take him out. So lets make sure that doesn’t happen this time.
DeSantis is funded by the old GOP establishment. They don’t care about the middle class or people in flyover country. DeSantis wants their money so will do what they want him to do.

I absolutely agree! The Federalization of the United States Senate is at the heart of the corruption! Looking at how many states have Republican legislatures, the Senate would immediately be 2/3 red and only one third blue, if not for the 17th Amendment!

And Donald Trump’s call for a constitutional amendment for term limits was a much needed shot across the bow. I believe the vast majority of americans, no matter their party, would be in favor of that. The other issue, though, that must be addressed, is the career SES positions. Those are the ones who are really pulling strings behind the scenes and that entire network has to be dismantled as well.
The 17th Amendment was the greatest single blow to the Republic. It was intended as such by its designers.
Now we see, first hand, how easy it was for the media and politicians to convince freemen to surrender their liberty in the name of democracy.
You have to keep in mind the generation that Trump is a part of – they believe in vaccines. They remember polio. No one is perfect and Trump would never mandate the shot which was the worst part of it.
I’m not diving back into the deep water on the vaccines debate vis-a-vis President Trump as I’ve shared my thoughts before on these boards. But for the sake of full disclosure, while Trump did authorize lock downs, he was one of the first and few public figures to say that we need to open back up. And while he continued to tout the “vaccines” past their expiration date, he made clear that taking them had to be an individual, non-mandated decision. He also said that we can’t live our lives afraid, that we have to learn to cope with the virus. Always, when the man makes the hard decisions with the information at hand, he pivots to hope.
If you’re going to lambast him for the hard decisions, also give him credit for offering the hope. It’s the honest thing to do.

Well Said !! Count Me In Too !!! His speech last night was a little too drawn out. At times he seemed to be just rambling along often repeating himself. Im not saying he needs some millennial speech writer but someone perhaps to structure the speech a little. But make no mistake, he is the ONLY person saying what I and most of us working Americans want and need to hear.
I think he was disappointed in the midterm results. That is understandable. His energy level was a little lower than his usual and his demeanor was grim. I had the impression that he sees the fight for victory as a challenge. Surmountable but a serious challenge nonetheless.

But I did call one of the offices in the district and spoke with someone, relaying to her that I will be watching how he votes, etc., and if he doesn’t come out as MAGA, and supporting of President Trump, then I’m not going to vote for him in the future. Whether that be Biden again or some other Dem dummy, it won’t matter. Look around. A brain-damaged Senator installed in PA. A simpleton to be installed as governor in AZ. The Dems harvest ballots and win elections and the Reps rarely even try to stop them since a huge number of them are in on it.
Why would anyone expect 2024 to play out any different than 2020 and 2022?

But, again, explain to me how that can happen given the realities of the electoral map combined with Dem-friendly mass mail-in ballot harvesting operations that have proven successful in installing Biden as POTUS, Fetterman as Senator, Hobbs as Governor, and others.
Put another way, Trump threaded a needle in 2016, and the Dems have since taken away the needle entirely with GOPe complicity.
