If you have not watched this video, you really should. Justin from Canada leaked the content of a private bilateral conversation with Chinese Chairman Xi Jinping to the media. Chairman Xi was not happy with the breach of diplomatic protocol.
What makes this video remarkable is the purposeful decision by Chairman Xi to confront Justin from Canada in front of a western audience. Xi never speaks directly in public and is always aware of cameras. The Chinese Chairman almost always goes through spokespeople to relay his public communication, reserving his voice for controlled and disciplined conversation with national leaders. However, not this time.
Chairman Xi dresses down Justin from Canada publicly, in view of cameras and microphones. Watch, and stay with it to the end when Justin from Canada awkwardly looks for somewhere to hide. It’s quite funny. WATCH:
.

As funny would have been ‘the approach’. My guess is that Little Justin was all aglitter to approach be approached by Xi, imagining the video showing how important and well respected he is on the world stage. Not.So.Much.😂
Canadian reporter’s camera .. commie Justin – “fair and free speech champion getting on the world stage, watch me”
There seemed to be much more that Xi said in the middle part that the translator didn’t translate. Anyone speak Mandarin?
That would be interesting but I fear the Venn diagram intersection of Treeper commentators and fluent Mandarin Chinese speakers is, shall we say, surpassingly small
Oh, I love a good Venn diagram. Don’t you love a good Venn diagram?
Having spent several years teaching at Fu Jen University outside of Taipei, I speak a fair bit of Mandarin. My wife is a native speaker from Taiwan. We listened to the conversation on Chinese TV. There really wasn’t anything “juicy” that the translator skipped over.
Xi is a tyrant, but still smart enough to refrain from coming down too hard on a fellow Communist with worldwide video rolling.
By his own admission, Trudeau’s response ‘we believe in free and open and frank dialogue” followed by (telling?) Xi “and that is what we will continue to have “(what a joke) when confronted with leaking, to having done it. To which, Xi was dismissive. Xi “That is not appropriate .. If you are being sincere, we must communicate with mutual respect.” However, the translator did not tell Trudeau about the “IF NOT ..” part.
That is how China states it. China’s response to “that is what we will continue to have” came the next day from Chinese spokesperson Mao Ning accusing Canada of acting in a “condescending manner” denying China had ever interfered in the internal affairs of other nations and said Canada was responsible for the downturn in ties. “Canada should take concrete actions to create conditions for the improvement of China-Canada relations,” she said at a daily briefing. The conversation was “quite normal and should not be interpreted as President Xi criticizing or blaming anyone.”
War games, any one?
I expect that Xi knows his way around English quite well by now. Whether or not he chooses to speak it.
This is what went down that the translator did not say to Trudeau.
Xi Jinping captured on camera by a Canadian broadcaster confronting Justin Trudeau and telling him off (via a translator) for “leaking details” of their bilateral discussion to the press.
“Everything we discussed was leaked to the newspapers. That’s not appropriate, and that’s not the way our conversation was conducted, right?” Xi told Trudeau through a translator. “If you are being sincere, we must communicate with mutual respect.” “If not, I’m not so sure how it will turn out,” Xi added, in a line the translator DIDN’T say to Trudeau. The Canadian PM responded: “In Canada, we believe in free and open and frank dialogue, and that is what we will continue to have. We will continue to look to work constructively together, but there will be things we will disagree on.” Xi was dismissive: “Let’s create the conditions first.” He then shook the Canadian prime minister’s hand and turned away

Welcome to the real world, you ludicrous little twink. Justin is so used to getting his way in Canada with his pathetic gelded opposition, he doesnt know how to behave in front of true opposition leaders
I wish I could find this funny, but the seeds of disater are being planted here. A full 85% of the worlds population is beginning to think of Western elites as contemptible and degenerate and unworthy of their position as global leaders
And they are correct in that thought
The “global leadership” of these self-appointed “elites” originated from World War 2, and that was more than eighty years ago now. The role of “The West™” in world affairs is changing whether they like it or not. To put it another way, the international situation is maturing. There will never be “a uni-polar world,” and there really isn’t one right now. That is a good development.
…”you ludicrous little twink…”—How funny! How true!
Yes, the WEF doesn’t produce very strong people to go into all those cabinets around the world . . . but what if THAT is exactly WHY the WEF exists, to help the CCP/PRC by helping to put these people into place?
Awa…did Justin piss-off his boss?
Justin looks and acts very much like Gavin Newsom.
Funny you mention that…
Did you see the follow on comments to Mr. Brock about a lower level of a certain pizza place in D.C.?
Fastest “exit stage left” I’ve seen.
Definition of “exit stage left” : A timely and inconspicuous exit or departure, done so as not to make a scene or attract attention to oneself.
Not since Rush in 1982 has there been such a Canadian exit stage left.
At the very end, unseen voice says to woman looking at camera. “Where was Sean?”
Who’s Sean? Thinking Sean may be in deep doo doo for letting soy boy get cornered.
The woman at the end of the video is Katie Telford. She is Trudeau’s head propagandist. Paid Liar for the Liberal party.
Katie Telford and a few other Liberal hacks are really the ones who run the Liberal Party. Trudeau is just the mouthpiece.
It’s funny to watch the current western leaders interact with China and Russia, they are arrogant sheep who have convinced themselves that they have cornered the wolf.
I’m surprised Trudope didn’t try to change the conversation abruptly to “hey Xi have you seen my socks ?”
Or, “How about those Cubbies, huh?!?”
He actually did with an insult, “the free speech gambit in the middle of the conversation”. President Xi was actually all class in the conversation as President Xi steam rolled though the insult without pause.
Unlike nearly ALL US leaders and elites … President Xi speaks and especially understands a few foreign languages, including English. So, Soy Boy Trudope was likely hoping his insult would not be understood. Notice how President Xi did not even wait for the insult to be translated.
He tried to explain free speech to Xi? How unaware he is to be any kind of a leader! He looked like an idiot. Can’t wait to see how this plays in Canada, if they show it at all!
The free, open, and frank Canadian speech will be suppressed.
It was covered accurately by https://globalnews.ca/world/
Did they also cover accurately that Justin tried to sell to Xi “Canada’s way” to have open dialogue and discussions?
The accurate coverage I could not find.
Just wondering if GlobalNews also fact checked Justins statement to recent events in Canada. Such as “Canada open dialogue” <=> how Trucker protest was treated, with Justin accusing the protesters of being racists, mysoginists and that these people should not be tolerated and frankly these people take up space? The fact that at no time the Government had any open dialogue and talks with the Truckers, at all?
Glad global news covered that accurately in context of current Canadian policy and that Justin’s foreign policy is generally that of a barking chihuahua hiding behind a US President that reads words from flash cards.
At present time the accurate – as you say – globalnews coverage changed to just a bunch of smoke show talking about “alleged facts” with lots of “air quotes” and that Xi did not mean it that way to Justin. Xi does nothing that is not calculated its a carefully scripted country. Believe what you will.
Hard to believe that Boi is a “World Leader”
Watching little Justin awkwardly walk away before suddenly picking up the pace and scurrying backstage is hilarious.
He realized he had peed himself, maybe.
The puppet master letting the world know he will pull the strings publicly when it pleases him.
In this case, I think that Trudeau richly deserved it. When two “heads of state” are discussing matters, those conversations are not meant to be made public. In fact, they should be presumed to be “Top Secret.” What is said in this room does not leave this room.
Clearly, Trudeau did not even have the common courtesy to ask Chairman Xi if he would permit the conversation to be released, and to provide a proposed press release for his inspection and approval – which, if released, would be released exactly. Trudeau deserved a humiliating “dressing-down,” and I hope his press corps heard it, too. Maybe he will learn his lesson.
“…….those conversations are not meant to be made public.”
Is that to keep the public in the dark? Are secret dealings none of our business while they destroy us?
When heads of state are in conversation with one another, they have and need an expectation of secrecy. If some details of that conversation are then made public, it should only be done with the full awareness and consent of the other – and proper “vetting” of the contents. Transcripts may be taken for the public record of both sides to memorialize what was said, but those transcripts are classified.
Obviously, in this case Xi was “blindsided,” and of course he did not like it. Nor should he.
Courtesies toward one another is fine and dandy, but we have far to much secrecy in todays world where the power hungry want to destroy instead of build.
If there was an agreement that the conversation was confidential and not to be shared with the public — regardless of the contents — then all parties should have held up their end of the bargain and kept quiet.
Turdeau effectively lied if he agreed to a confidential conversation.
There may be times when a closed confidential among world leaders is necessary and beneficial.
Unfortunately most western leaders are deep state lefties who do not have our better interests in mind.
Correct. “Closed confidential among world leaders is necessary” Nothing to do with the fact that (most) world leaders don’t have our better interests in mind. Why should they? Even our own governing bodies do not. Imagine Trudeau doing this to Trump. Trump’s MAGA and how he negotiates with world leaders is what ONLY Trump can effect, and proven through what he HAS done.
secret dealings and public concerning us to destroy us is not the case here concerning “……. those conversations are not meant to be made public.”
So, Justin Castro Trudeau caught a scolding from the CCP. Velvet glove covering iron CCP fist.
Communists take leaks seriously, and it was obvious from Lil Fidel’s quick departure another leak had just happened.
If I had committed the same faux pas and been dressed down by this guy like this, I would have owned it and told Xi “Well that’s just too bad isn’t it? We’re not in China now so go threaten someone else.”
I certainly would have immediately owned it, and apologized instantly with the promise that it would never happen again. Xi intended to humiliate him, and was in the right to do so.
There are PROTOCOLS involved in dealing with other heads of states. They are agreed upon RULES prior to meeting. IF YOU DON”T LIKE THE RULES, then don’t agree to them. But Sparkle Socks did. Then he violated the rules. That’s a stupid and arrogant move especially to P Xi. I am pretty certain that one does not publicly shame this man. This is not juvenile “free speech, na, na, na. You can’t touch me” stuff.
It is like a sports club, say the NFL, they all agree to the rules. If one of them violates the rules then there is punishment.
It can be unnerving getting dressed down by your boss/owner, especially when you’re a beta soy boy who doesn’t appear to be terribly bright.
Note all the “little people” in masks.
They are setting the stage for us to get used to US (wear the masks) and OUR BETTERS (mask free because we are important).
‘In Canada we believe in free and open and frank dialogue’…Using free speech as a defense when he tramples all over his country trying to outlaw it. What a pig. The stench is strong with this one.
Now you see who is the ACTUAL leader of Canada.
There is the old saying about the one in power is the one you cannot criticize. But based on what we saw, he F’d up big time and then F’d up again talking back to his master. Completely disrespectful! He will paid DEARLY for this in some way. Likely he will be replaced soon.
Not the first time –
and reports from Indian media claim PM Modi snubbed him on Trudeau’s visit (when the Trudeau family went and wore traditional Indian wardrobe).
They looked so ridiculous and silly they had to stop all the costume changes halfway thru the trip. It was like 3 different outfits a day for each member of the Trudeau family.
What’s crazy is that they thought it would go over well and make them a huge hit in India.
Justine, the Boss would like a word.
Just In FunnySox
Xi would never have done that to President Trump
President Trump would have never done that to Xi. Sparkle Socks could have prevented this interaction by keeping his big, mouth shut. HE CAUSED THIS. With PDJT, it would have never gotten to this because PDJT is a grown up.
Xi outlines street credo to this little neophyte. Who voted for this idiot anyway? Canada, find one of those truckers to run your country. And that is a big 10-4!
The most interesting part was the reaction to the “free speech insult” that Trudope attempted to use in order to derail the dressing down in order to engage in an insult trading dialogue, which Trudope would have lost as well … once President Xi pointed out Justin’s actions last year.
Unlike nearly ALL US leaders and elites … President Xi speaks and especially understands a few foreign languages, including English. Notice how President Xi did not even wait for the insult to be translated and kept on rolling.
President Xi did not even stop to counter by pointing out Trudope doing the exact same thing to free speech in Canada, which Official China Inc. news agencies had been doing over the past year.
Trudeau is wearing his Easter outfit.
Trudeau may soon have his own Hu Jintao moment.
I like the way the interpreter moved out of the way so the camera could record all of it.
China says don’t do it again
https://globalnews.ca/news/9285775/xi-jinping-justin-trudeau-g20-china-canada/
China’s foreign ministry on Thursday said Chinese President Xi Jinping was not criticizing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, a day after Xi was seen confronting him at the G20 summit over alleged leaks from a meeting they held.
Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning told a regular media briefing that Beijing supports having frank exchanges as long as they are held on an equal basis, and said China hopes Canada will take action to improve bilateral ties.
“The video you mentioned was indeed a short conversation both leaders held during the G20 summit. This is very normal. I don’t think it should be interpreted as Chairman Xi criticizing or accusing anyone,” Mao said.
These aren’t the droids you’re looking for.
Canada believes in free and fair dialogue – oh, come on. Didn’t he have a tantrum and freeze, or at least try to freeze, the trucker’s back accounts?
Here’s the English translation in written form:
“Everything we said has been leaked to the papers. That’s not appropriate. That’s not the way the conversation was conducted,” Xi told Trudeau in the brief and uncomfortable exchange, captured by a Canadian cameraman from the G20 media pool.
“If you are sincere, we should communicate with each other in a respectful manner, otherwise it will be hard to say what the result will be like,” Xi said menacingly.
Xi spoke in Mandarin, obliging Trudeau to wait for a translation before responding, although Xi’s angry body language was plain to see.
“Well I do believe in free and open and frank dialogue we will continue to have,” Trudeau responded. “And we will continue to work constructively together. But there will be things we will disagree on and we will have to–”
At which point Xi curtly cut him off by saying “Let’s create the conditions first.”
https://www.breitbart.com/asia/2022/11/16/xi-jinping-lectures-justin-trudeau-camera-leaking-conversation/
Thank you for this. Neither of these players should we side with. We are angry with immature Trudeau. We should be very wary of Xi-Jinping.
There’s nothing we can do about it at this point. The chinese already own our president and his family.
Interesting at 45 seconds when he passes by what looks to be his Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland that she acts like she doesn’t even know or acknowledge him, instead preferring to distance herself in the presence of Xi. Anyone know if that was Chrystia? Remember her weird crackhead behavior a few months ago?
“Odd Little Note on the Puppet Handler of Trudeau February 23, 2022 By Sundance – Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland” – Read more here: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2022/02/23/odd-little-note-on-the-puppet-handler-of-trudeau/
Good catch — would have to compare photos of her with the video to be sure, but looks like it could ber. If it is her that’s very interesting. She’s of course an important member of WEF so wonder what that means for Trudeau’s status with the WEF over this scrap with Xi?
No, that’s not her.
Freeland is simply horrifically unbearable, quite distinctive characteristics, and much more girthy than the young woman on the video.
This is how a REAL communist schools a wanna be commie
Children are running the Governments of the U.S. and Canada, and they have no understanding of the Xi’s, Saddam Husseins, and Putins of the World. A bunch of know-nothing soyboys who would have been the first ones Mao sent out to work the fields.
It’s a different culture in the East than the West and when you have made even an inkling of a breach of protocol there or break the rules you are shamed with a smile and no apology.
Xi is pretty damned evil but if that confidential conversation was leaked, he was within his rights to call out the loser Turdeau.
Xi was quite measured firm and fair with his comments.
Turdeau was terrified and acted much like obozo does when he is off the teleprompter: he did not know what to say.
Xi was talking about issues of process and confidentiality. Turdeau could not even listen and process and respond to that. He uttered some lefty pablum about open dialogue and respect that had nothing to do with what Xi was saying (you leaked our conversation you stupid dork.
Turdeau does not understand that if he is leaking confidential conversations, no one is going to speak openly and freely with him.
He’s an idiot like most western leaders who is propped up by monied interests and a fawning paid-for media.
Trudeau is a asshat. In Canada they value free speech? Tell that to the trucker convoy and the bank accounts you seized, shithead. You care nothing about free speech unless its your personal freedom of speech. To hell with your dissenters’ free speech. Xi punked you and you ran off like a little bitch. I am so sick of these leaders claiming they love free speech while we have J6 prisoners rotting away in jail with no trial date in sight. And Justin, if your free speech is attacked, who will defend since you are basically disarming your people, you stupid ass?
Liked the entire comment – but most especially:
“Xi punked you and you ran off like a little bitch. I am so sick of these leaders claiming they love free speech while we have J6 prisoners rotting away in jail with no trial date in sight.”
Our so-called leaders and news media readers keep telling us all about democracy while the J6 prisoners are held in the gulag . . . or laogai (Chinese version of the gulag).
Justine exited stage left & my guess is she wet herself. Judging from her gait, she was squeezing those but cheeks pretty hard to prevent further embarrassment.
It’s a good reminder that we’ve had children forced on us. Stupid, children.
Xi reminds me a lot of the kindly maitre d’ over at Peking Gourmet on Route 7. He’s great with my little kids, and the pina coladas are always strong. You gotta have the Peking duck next time you go, and my personal favorite dish is the szechuan beef proper.
That sounds awesome! Where’s Route 7?
“The Art of War”
Do you think the little Toadie went back to have a good boo-ho?
These idiots think they are dealing with Biden and Obama or the Republican swampettes. Xi and Putin are playing for keeps.
He ran like a child after being spanked
No, Trudeau didn’t run like a child, I would believe he wanted his entourage to know just what had transpired with Xi and have a good chuckle.
Trudeau tell Xi …“In Canada we believe in free open and frank dialogue, and I hope that’s what we will continue to have, we will continue to work constructively together, but there will be thing we will disagree on ……
Xi didn’t like Trudeau’s response and thus cut him off by saying, “Let’s create the conditions first”.
He ran away like the wimp and phony he is, good grief
I despise the commie from Canada as much as anyone. I despise the commie from China a little more.
But Trudeau didn’t get spanked in spite of the china commies intention to do so. It was Xi that walked away first when Trudeau basically told him to F off, we do this in the open. Somebody must be watching a different video.
Are you watching the same video? Not quite sure why Americans hate the commie so much. Go learn some history about what the West did to the chinamen for almost 100 years, and see what “exceptional” the GAE is. Btw, have the chinamen killed millions and millions of innocent other people like your “exceptional” country since WWII?
Millions and millions are lots of millions. But Mao gets credit for 5 million dead in his cultural revolution. That doesn’t include the ones that starved to death for years based on his agricultural policies. There was a while there when you couldn’t find a rat in China because the people had eaten them all.
However you are blaming Xi for Mao. Mao is dead and is not in power anymore. You’re position is quite illogical.
Actually it’s Communist and their godless systems that have Murdered 200 million in the 20th Century, I’d suggest you should probably research a subject before actually commenting
Nope, as the Christians and those who do not worship the CCP are heavily persecuted and killed. Get real!
History. So fluid for the ones who make bizarre claims.
Don’t know much about history, Do we !
Yes as a matter of fact they have.
Just like all commies they kill their own countrymen by the millions!
” Btw, have the chinamen killed millions and millions of innocent other people like your “exceptional” country since WWII?”
“Btw, have the chinamen killed millions and millions of innocent other people like your “exceptional” country since WWII?”
The chinese murdered 100 million plus in the last century. 100,000,000 people murdered. So, what millions and millions innocents murdered are you talking about?
So, HoHo, what are you even asking? History, I know it well. Now you go learn what the United States did for China during the 2nd world war.
Oh my! Justine needs to revisit what his so-called freedom of speech means as per his harassment and arresting the Canadian trucker convoy!
“In Canada we believe in free open and frank dialogue, and I hope that’s what we will continue to have, we will continue to work constructively together, but there will be thing we will disagree on ……” Yeap, but in the end, who became a beggar, lol?
CHINA.
You are trying too hard, HoHo. As evil as Xi and his ideology are, he owned Trudeau . . . . unless you had your mind made up already.
Trudeau actually said, “We would love to continue to work constructively…” even more ingratiating. The captions cleaned it up.
Leaking confidential information is not how trustworthy and free democracies operate; Trudeau is as corrupt as the so-called open press to whom the leaks were made.
Sorry … but he ran like a little girl. His hips look … womanly. Like he has started transitioning surgery … ?
It was Justin realizing what a little boy he is on the world stage.
Once again a Western leader cannot speak without a teleprompter.
Reduced to virtue signaling about free speech.
Free speech that he STOMPS DOWN in his own nation
This is what went down that the translator did not say to Trudeau.
Xi Jinping captured on camera by a Canadian broadcaster confronting Justin Trudeau and telling him off (via a translator) for “leaking details” of their bilateral discussion to the press.
“Everything we discussed was leaked to the newspapers. And the Canadian apologists defend Trudy this morning
King Xi looked and acted like a losing Dictator, and he belittled himself, by trying to denigrate a small country like Canada…
awaiting approval again… I guess Free Speech has been banned from this site also?
Try waiting more than 2 or 3 minutes before you gripe, eh??
Go Weed! In case you’d like to give us the benefit of the doubt, there’s a problem and lots of people are getting hung up. We’ve been trying very hard to get people released ASAP.
Much gratitude to you guys hanging in there for us.
Hey thanks Menagerie!
I had one of those comments and it didn’t take long for you to free it up!
Me too what’s up today. Not a single cuss word and not a mean comment.
Wow. The CBC protects boy-PM … shocker! Aren’t they PAID to do that?
Not sure the Turdo realized or understood what was said . He is so full of himself and never does anything wrong.
