President Trump can see and hear the same things everyone else can see and hear, including the coordinated media and GOPe effort to diminish him and the MAGA movement within the Republican club.
The Democrats and professional Republican class both want to see the populist movement destroyed for the same reason Mitch McConnell wanted the Tea Party destroyed in 2010. The assembly of the united middle-class and blue-collar base inside the Republican Party, essentially the broad MAGA movement, represents a Main Street threat to Wall Street control of the GOPe.
There are trillions at stake.
As Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ megadonor and Citadel hedge fund billionaire, Ken Griffin, openly admitted recently the Wall Street goals are (1) stop the populist movement and (2) get the Republican Party back in alignment with the multinational “corporate world.” These are the same goals of the Republican leadership in Washington DC and the same goals as the corporate media who serve as the public relations firms for Wall Street.
The collaborative group, which includes the entirety of the funding mechanism and management behind Ron DeSantis, viewed the 2022 midterm election as an opportunity to reset the Republican Party away from the populist MAGA influence. The strategy was to roll out of the August DOJ Mar-a-Lago targeting, directly into a nationally rebranded DeSantis operation and then lead up to the 2022 midterm election.
Anything that can cast Donald Trump as a negative would be enhanced, and anything that would cast the MAGA movement as a positive would be diminished. In part, this is the intent behind the delayed positive election results from key MAGA races in CO, WA, NV and AZ, combined with emphasis on the negative -albeit controlled- election ballot outcomes from Michigan and Pennsylvania.
At the 30,000-foot level the attacks against President Trump are, quite frankly, attacks against the MAGA populist movement represented by President Trump.
The professional political class, both DNC and RNC club members, politicians and donors, want to get back to normal political business operations in Washington DC. The key element at the core of their concern is financial and economic control. Again, there are trillions at stake.
Just like we can see this coordinated effort, so too can President Trump see the construct of the narrative as it is being engineered and delivered. We can see the Paul Ryan wing, the Mitch McConnell wing and the corporate media division all working in concert. The entities described genuinely do not think the larger Republican base can see it, but they underestimate us at their own peril.
Things are never going to return to normal for them, but they refuse to accept that. The most adamant of the professional Republican apparatus, in concert with the multinational financial world, would rather see the GOP lose every election – if that’s what it takes to stop the MAGA movement. They view this as a zero-sum game, and they have planted proactive seeds for exactly this purpose.
A more than happy to assist CONservative Inc new media apparatus, the “influencers” as they call them, are part of the dynamic that was recruited in early 2022 {See Here}. It’s the use of this crew and others of like-minded disposition that helps the corporate group drumbeat an anti-populist, anti-MAGA message with the intention to eliminate the head of the movement.
In addition to their common vertical challenges, the DeSantis 2024 influence group are almost identical to the Cruz 2016 group. The difference this time around is the pretending game; where they pretend DeSantis is not the intended beneficiary of their relentless anti-Trumpism in both print and broadcast appearances.
The group was recruited in January 2022 and includes Fox News’ Lisa Marie Boothe, Turning Point USA’s Benny Johnson, Newsweek opinion editor Josh Hammer, The Rubin Report’s Dave Rubin, New York Post and FoxNews.com columnist Karol Markowicz, Claremont Institute fellow David Reaboi and conservative writers like Jordan Schachtel, John Cardillo, along with Ben Shapiro and Guy Benson.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been positioned as the intended recipient for the disenfranchised MAGA movement’s support, if they can just get President Trump out of the equation and exploit the vulnerability in his absence. However, all previous efforts to shake the bond between President Trump and the MAGA movement have failed.
Using the 2022 midterm election control, they are pounding the wedge harder now, with increased ferocity and urgency to break the bond.
Just like in 2016, the GOPe multinationals, corporatists, Wall Street donors, Never Trump CONservatives, and just about all controlled media systems are being enlisted in this effort. President Trump can see the construct just as clearly as you can.
That’s why President Trump is hitting back against the effort by singling out the wedge they are trying to use.
President Trump isn’t pretending. He’s targeting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis because President Trump, like us, can clearly see the nature of the construct that has been manufactured to oppose the MAGA movement. This is a fight for the future of the Republican party.
DeSantis is playing too-cute-by-half, in pretending not to be a participant in the professional republican operation. If Governor Ron DeSantis was not an active participant, he would not be playing coy with his 2024 GOP nomination intent. Trump isn’t going to play pretend. As long as DeSantis pretends, he will be targeted by President Trump because Trump isn’t going to allow the professional republican apparatus to destroy the populist movement.
Let Con Inc go and form a new party now of acceptable republicans. Let the people of selfie-importance assemble to take pictures of their lunches and dinners for social media shares, while the scruffnecks in MAGA assemble to push back against the new American corporatist agenda that finances them.
The new republican party is the working-class people’s party, the MAGA party, and President Donald J Trump is going to defend it.
Steadfast…. This is “The Big Ugly“!
I have learned to give DJT the benefit of the doubt. He is not in this fight for himself, he is in it for us. He cannot win it for himself. A win is to get the government designed in its foundation by the wisdom of the founders in line with the will of people and back serving the people instead of the Elite uniparty.
As we grow stronger, he can be more bold about calling out imposters. Dems are losing. Now we have to start calling out the RINOs. He believes the MAGA base is strong enough to fight the enemedia, tech giants, opinion shaping. We cannot fail.
We are at war. War is not pretty. War is not warm and fuzzy. War is not polite. The enemy has absolutely no regard for our life, much less our well being or our feelings. But they have no problem manipulating our feelings or morals against us.
The MAGA base must grow in wisdom, dilegence, and effectiveness in calling out lies, manipulation, treason, and betrayal of the Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness. Calling out betrayal and deception.
Keep the faith. Grow each day. Spread the message. Be a light in the darkness, and a city on the hill.
Concerning this, may I offer this piece I posted on Trevor Loudon’s site yesterday (title includes the link):
Trump: We Know Him by His Enemies
My gut tells me Ron DeSantis will be the Russell Wilson of nominees.
I am with you 1000% SD
Absolutely—tooting—poorly!
This is the most intelligent, patriotic, sane site —period!
I re-posted this article on Gettr linking back to here. Hopefully this will reach more MEGA people and others, spread the word on what is happening. There are many CTH readers on Gettr, and will be re-posted numerous times.Forever grateful for Sundance and his intelligent, accurate analysis.
Me too and Truth Social, everywhere … on the chats. Thank you!!
Just posted it on TS and will continue to tackle and rift raft.
There can not be 1000% of any amount.
Stop terrorizing us with your Maths!
A Great Deal about how Ken Griffin makes money is known. I think he needs to be viewed as not poison by his potential MEGA investors.
Billionaire Ken Griffin’s Top 10 Stock Holdings
Published on February 4, 2021, at 11:04 am by Jose Karlo Mari Tottoc in Hedge Funds, News
In this article we take a look at billionaire Ken Griffin’s top 10 stock holdings. You can skip our discussion of Ken Griffin’s Citadel’s performance, the GameStop episode and some important stocks bought by Citadel and go directly to Billionaire Ken Griffin’s Top 5 Stock Holdings.
Kenneth Griffin is an American billionaire and hedge fund manager who oversees Citadel LLC, which has over $35 billion in managed funds. A business enthusiast and creative genius since childhood, Griffin went to Harvard College in 1986, where he started investing. Soon, Griffin spotted inefficiencies in the convertible bonds market. To keep track of real-time stock quotes and data, Griffin convinced administrators to install a satellite dish on the roof of college building. Griffin launched his first investment fund just days after his nineteenth birthday, with $265,000.
Ken Griffin’s Role in GameStop Saga?
The billionaire is in the news for his hedge fund’s role in the GameStop saga that is rattling the U.S. markets for over two weeks now. Citadel recently injected close to $2 billion in the embattled hedge fund Melvin Capital after it sustained heavy losses amid the GameStop short squeeze. Citadel’s link to trading app Robinhood is also being questioned and scrutinized widely. Citadel is one of the biggest revenue sources of Robinhood, as the trading app allegedly shares important data with the hedge fund in exchange for money. In the first quarter of 2020, Robinhood received $100 million from Citadel Securities. In a letter to Robinhood CEO Vladimir Tenev, U.S. senator Elizabeth Warren asked the executive to explain his link with Citadel and why his app started to put restrictions on GameStop trading. The letter alleged that the hedge fund pays Robinhood to access data about stocks users on the app are buying and selling.

Formalize MAGA with a platform and legal structure. Let Trump be the king maker and anoint a MAGA successor. Take the air out of the global corporate tyrants
Hard to find a MAGA successor who can withstand the onslaught.
But I like that suggestion. Totally would throw the commies for a loop.
Why not Don Jr. !!!!!
I have considered Desantis the MAGA successor for 2 years.
Possible successors are just now getting their feet wet. They will come as long as we don’t fold.
Kari Lake is the first one who comes to my mind. But IMO she won’t be ready until after 2024.
The author is absolutely correct. However, while he amplifies the details of election fraud in key races he doesn’t clearly note the WEF interest in destroying the American populist movement, a key obstacle to their plans for world domination.
Citadel Founder and CEO Ken Griffin recently joined esteemed investor and Carlyle Group founder David Rubenstein for an hour-long “Peer to Peer Conversation.”

Special to WorldTribune Virginia Republican Governor-Elect Glenn Youngkin’s former Carlyle Group cohorts own Dominion Voting Systems, the controversial voting machine company that is at the heart of widespread claims the 2020 presidential election was fraudulently stolen. ‘Carlyle co-founder David Rubenstein personally recruited Glenn Youngkin to join the organization in 1995. He
Wow, dominion.. that’s big.
Yeah, globalists are scum as usual.
A possible scenario for Presidential election scenario to play out similar to the Romney and McCain stupid campaigns. I see DeSantis squeacking out the nomination for the R ticket, then after running a valiant but inept campaign he gracefully concede the election to………….Nancys’ nephew Gov Hairgel.
I love Trump and even yesterday wore my MAGA hat, but he’s not doing the country, the “base,” or himself any good by going after DeSantis the way he is. He’s only reinforcing the haters and demoralizing his supporters with his bridge burning. Trump has a right to be bitter by the way he’s been treated, but it’s eating him up.
Trump is still standing and not in the DC gulag because he hits back hard against any smidgeon of betrayal.
DeSantis should never have let himself be used by the Uniparty. He took the $200 million from people who have let Main Street Americans twist in the wind these last 2 years, and now it’s bad Trump? Are you kidding. It’s not Trump coming after us.
IMHO. Trump has not swung hard enogh!
Not burning bridges. Exposing the dangers, and the dangers are great….and one of them is Ron DeSantis. How is this hurting anyone. The haters will be haters. They have always been haters, we decided NOT to see them. Nothing bad comes from exposing those who hate me…
Ron DeSantis is a Trojan horse. Trump would be dropping the ball if he did not forewarn the MAGA faithful of that fact; not all MAGA patriots have the benefit of the wisdom found here at CTH.
Trump abandoned the MAGA faithful Jan 6thers, though.
Or, it sure seems like he did.
However, Trump has not gone after McCarthy hard like that. Nor Graham, et al
I’m not in favor of such heavy handed attacking. I think our President Trump should strategize instead of letting anger at the other side’s strategies derail his own.
Go read the conservative treehouse. Com article today
The low-info public needs to be exposed to the co-opting of DeSantis. Most of the public doesn’t know yet that DeSantis is the darling of Jeb Bush, Paul Ryan and Karl Rove. Once that reaches critical mass, perceptions of God-anointed Ron DeSantis might start to change.
Interesting- I’m a supporter, I am not demoralized; in fact, Trump has me ready to go. Every other MAGA I have talked to feels the same way. The only people who don’t are GOP RNC suck-ups. That is it.
This site is full of MAGA: the overall message here: Trump needs to keep on keeping on.
I am in agreement with you. I love the man. He has done amazing things for Tea Partiers and the America First people of this country. WE NEEDED HIM AND HE DELIVERED. He shone a light on the Deep State and its DEEP rot. He told the G20 globalists to take a hike. He gave a middle finger to anyone trying to pick America’s pocket. He exposed our TOTALLY CROOKED MEDIA. He built a wall. He NOW HAS LEFTIES admitting on MSM that “the border is a problem”. He put $4k MORE per year in each American household. HE HELPED US OVERTURN ROE v WADE with his Supremes. He gave us the lowest unemployment EVER for Latinos, blacks and women. He got more rolling on school choice. He brought more manufacturing BACK to the USA. He gave us “right to try”….
In my mind, his one mistake was Warp Speed.
Back in December of 2016, prior to taking office, he met with RFK Jr. to discuss a full investigation into our CDC and the pediatric vaccine scheme. Then he met with Bill Gates and dropped RFK Jr. Then came COVID. He trusted Fauci, Birx, the CDC, the FDA, Pfizer, Moderna, J&J… NOW THIS COVID POISON IS ON THE PEDIATRIC SCHEDULE.
If you have a vax-injured kid, you’ll understand. HE SCREWED THE LITTLEST AMONG US WITH THIS MISTAKE. If we do not have our health, NONE OF WHAT TRUMP DID MATTERS. NONE OF IT.
He reminds me of Old Testament Saul, MOSTLY doing everything that God has commanded him to do, but not entirely. Trump’s “Amalekite mistake” was his mis-read on big Pharma, Gates and Fauci. And when you endanger my kid’s/my family’s health by cozying up to the BigPharma Kraken, I cannot and will not stand for it. He goofed; BIG TIME.
Trump is like Saul. With one mistake he let the movement down; then, God used someone else: DAVID.
Is DeSantis a savior? HELL NO.
But let’s dispense with the purity crap. Reagan was not a billionaire, either. Politics is a sewer. We need a raft to navigate it. A raft that is large, strong, and sits high above the turds. The raft is gonna bump into a turd or two, and hopefully change course. EVERY RAFT STINKETH. Trump is not Jesus, and neither is DeSantis. We need to REMAKE the party; NOT OBLITERATE IT.
Politicians are like vehicles. You need them to get you closer to your destination. Sometimes you need a giant 4×4 to plow through the brush and mud and rocks. Sometimes you need a reliable, non-brazen Toyota Sienna to drive on a smooth road. And like vehicles, eventually, in about 5 years, they will strand you on the side of the road. How long has it been since Trump first announced? 2015?
The old 4×4 is leaking gas, oil, and is now backfiring. We could pour a lot of time and money in to fixing it, but it will likely break down and strand us again sooner than later. Is the 4×4 really repairable, or is it just better to trade it in for the Sienna? Best case scenario: the 4×4 donates its stereo and tires to the Sienna. Take out the key.
We need to keep our eyes on the prize, NOT THE VEHICLE.
I like the ‘old’ 4×4 better.
It is the only ‘vehicle ‘ that can get us to the ‘prize’.
(Quotes are fun don’t you agree ) ?
Does anyone else remember before the disposal society ?
You know, when people had value because they were created in the image of the living GOD.
Are you beginning to understand what the plenty of the 50s/60s birthed and why that was the plan all along ?
Psalm 30:7-9
I hate to say this but grow a pair.
Your not gonna beat the swampcreatures by playing nice!
I love Trump BUT…
Usually the sign of ROLCONs.
I did not wear my MAGA hat yesterday and you are full of shit.
That is all.
What I am doing is watching……..
You CAN’T stump the Trump.
Good times, great memories.
Oh jeb (flaccid exclamation point here) and his stupid guac bowl.
There is nothing worse than helping someone like President Trump did with Ron DeSantis, and having them spit in your face. It was done to me by a close relative and it is really disgusting. I understand how President Trump feels.
I stand with President Trump all the way.
Ron DeSantis is on his way to being totally owned by the Uniparty, just like Ted Cruz was in 2016. We all remember how “outsider” Ted was endorsed by Mitch and company after the others dropped out.
Shame on those who are fooled by the adulation of Ron DeSantis. He doesn’t have the proven background of President Trump. He is a competent governor. That is not nearly enough to trust him. He also has to take money from the GOPe, so he is already owned by them.
Ron DeSantis didn’t get Lee Zeldin elected. He didn’t get anyone elected, unlike President Trump. He sure can’t get the crowds that President Trump gets. Look at the Miami rally. Ron DeSantis had a competing rally. What did he have – 1 % of the crowd that President Trump had?
This reminds me of January 6th, where President Trump was written off by the usual suspects. President Trump got a lot of MAGA elected. Hopefully, some of them will remember how they got elected. I am speaking of JD Vance who didn’t even thank President Trump in his acceptance speech after President Trump did a rally for him the night before election day.
MAGA will stand with President Trump.
It is so funny how the only time the GOP leadership speaks out against anyone in their party is when they have to due to:
With Trump they criticized him from the start and never stopped, and he at first was gracious to many of them even when they started rumors. From how I grew up, I prefer someone who is upfront to the passive-aggressive backstabber that so many GOP politicians behave like.
With DeSantis the media and conservative pundits are creating a distorted truth (aka lie) about him and his accomplishments and leadership, and influence. DeSantis did not have the influence that Trump did in his endorsements. DeSantis follows what others are doing after they show it is a winning strategy. Reopen during Covid followed Georgia, Montana, and South Dakota. Parents’ rights VA, Indiana, and the Libertarians in New Hampshire. Sending illegal aliens to Sanctuary Cities after TX (and DeSantis did this poorly but that was swept under the rug quickly).
DeSantis signed SB2006 which prohibited a Covid passport, but left in law that the State can vaccinate or quarantine “by any means necessary”.
From Rush…
“The people that voted for Trump are never going to abandon him. I don’t care what Mueller does. I don’t care what the media does. They’re never gonna abandon him. You know why? They elected him knowing who he is. And in many cases, they admire who he is. He is the one person standing in the way of them losing their country. In their minds, that’s what’s at stake.”
It was true then…
…and even truer now.
Rest in peace, dear, righteously outspoken truth teller.
No words needed …..
Let Con Inc go and form a new party now of acceptable republicans.
With much respect, I am going to suggest this is not the way forward.
The Republican Party corrupted itself, keeping it hidden from the electorate. This is why the electorate calls them RINOs.
The corruption is pervasive. The only way corruption is ended is by the corrupted ones repenting and doing right from that point on or their power is destroyed.
Some have suggested Rs become like Ds going after pieces of paper (ballots) rather than hearts (voters). That is a suggestion to corrupt yourself in order to accumulate power. This too is wrong, for Corruption wins again.
The way forward is to “Come out of her my people.”
Take your power and $$ away from the corruption and reassemble. That will bring clarity and choice.
People want righteous government that upholds righteous and just laws – such as we have in this nation. This innate desire within the hearts of people will take the power away from Corruption.
A solid weapon to destroy Corrupton.
Why start a new Party when we are well on our way to reforming the R portion of the Uniparty. We can at least see what we are up against and have made inroads with this past election of changing the status quo. This was never going to be a quick fix deal. The shear problem of getting a 3rd party on State rolls with many states still in GOPe/Uniparty control is a major problem. Our approach of changing the party from the bottom up is slow but it is working as we are now being able to make some changes at the State levels. No change will work unless we have voter integrity or play by the New Uniparty rules of ballot gathering in areas that use the gather rules to destroy individual same day voting.
It will certainly fail if we never try. Personally, I held my nose and voted for the bunch of RINO’s running in my state for the sole reason that I wanted to slow down destruction. But I expect nothing and less than nothing from them.
Both my spouse and I had previously said we would not vote for any RINO ever again after 2020 and the actions of the republicans afterward.
Now the current attacks on President Trump have cemented our resolve for the future. The only votes we will cast in the future will be for MAGA candidates. The republican party is dead to us. Make a new party and we will come and support it.
The Dems’ dream has come true, a truly divided Republican Party. Not only are we divided but we’re dug in. Uniparty continues to win.
The difference is that on the MAGA side, we hold our noses and vote for the RINO turds in the General Elections because it’s worse than the alternative and you do NOT skip out on voting.
I don’t buy it. Republicans are turning out and voting Republican… the only time any fight truly manifests at the polls would be the Primaries. Other than Dem strongholds and mail-in havens, Republicans (good and bad) won the night/week/whatever we’re calling it now.
The Tea Party / MAGA Republicans have been at war with the GOPe for over a decade now. What I’ve seen over that time is that the party could care LESS what we voters think or want. They’re going to do whatever they have to do to protect their cookie jar, all while telling us what we want to hear leading up to elections.
The divided party narrative is simply an effort to get more on-the-fence and uniformed (Faux New watchers) behind their candidate du jour, and that my friends is Ron DeSantis.
We live in the era of narrative engineering and man, it’s everywhere.
“The difference is that on the MAGA side, we hold our noses and vote for the RINO turds in the General Elections because it’s worse than the alternative and you do NOT skip out on voting.”
Not anymore, I don’t. I will not be voting for any GOPe-approved “safe” candidate in 2024.
Its the same crap as 2016. Once again the RINOs will be totally flummoxed when DeSantis gets crushed in the primary like everyone else. Plus, time is on our side. Lets see how much more evidence that DeSantis is owned by the Big Club comes out in the next year and a half. We don’t need to be united today, just so long as we are on election day in 2024.
You are correct.
Folks, Trump is a Tea Party, America-First VEHICLE. The people are the movement, NOT THE MAN.
STOP WORSHIPING THE VEHICLE.
Why so insistent on abandoning President Trump ?
Go back and report to kommrade ryan that…..
You and your corrupt media did not make him, You cannot break him or the Deplorables.
God Bless President Trump and all 100 + million of HIS Deplorables.
Sad to see Winsome Sears trashing DT to Neil Schifuzzo on Fox….no doubt fronting for Young Kin
She had me fooled. Though she wasn’t the first, and probably won’t be the last.
me too
me three
I am particularly disappointed in her as I was a delegate in the convention that nominated her for the Republican ticket. I voted for her then, I voted for her in the general election, and I contributed to her campaign. Like many politicians, they just can’t keep their mouths shut. For some reason folks think PDJT is ripe for the picking. He’s not, but she will be.
How much impact did PDJ Trump have on her winning her seat?
She got many black voters using talking points of President Trump’s hugely successful economic policies directed at the black community.
Now, she’s disavowing him because he’s “not humble.” She just said that this morning. What a fool.
What a Tool.
Yes, I was fooled too.
Trump created the context within which the Trump-lite people could operate. She and Youngkin would be sitting at home and McAuliffe would be governor if not. Granted VA had it’s own unique issues and McAuliffe stepped on his pecker, but everything changed with Trump as air cover. The fact these people don’t understand that shows their lack of intellect and quality. Maybe it’s ambition and perceived self preservation. But me thinks the dynamics will work in the opposite direction for most of them. In this regard Stephanic at least shows her brains.
Her Brains and Loyalty. TY for the update on VA politics.
Hard to be faced with the truth of the betrayal from those we placed confidence in. Cannot move forward if you are not willing to see the laser on your chest. We must know who the enemies are…I am not so concerned about the dems…it is that pretty snake that begs to be held and when nice and cozy bites you. Better known as GOPe, uniparty, rinos, corp pukes…new tool = DeSantis.
He speaks truth to power. It terrifies power.
I am astounded at the comments.
I ask every one of you who voted for Trump in 2016 to employ your critical thinking skills and put yourself in Trump’s place.
Did you lose millions of dollars and also have your brand besmirched just because you ran for POTUS.
Did you have a GOP House and Senate sideline your agenda by backstabbing you with a Russia Hoax
Do you constantly have a lying media attacking you..
Have you been Lawfared to death.
Did you have your family’s lives threatened.
Have they tried to throw your children in jail.
Have you gotten impeached twice for BS.
Do you always wear a bullet proof vest.
Have you relentlessly campaigned for GOP candidates even those like Marco Rubio on the SSCI who could have stopped the Russia Hoax in it’s tracks.
Are you being threatened with indictment for the Mar-a-Lago raid.
Did your endorsement give the present governor of Florida his office.also giving him a Florida House and Senate enabling election reform.
Sorry but the backstabbing of Judas DeSantis is the final nail in the coffin.
When will you be satisfied when billionaire Trump tells you he doesn’t need this BS. He is still rich and he will just go and play golf.
Enjoy you “Bought and Paid For” Judas DeSantis globalism.
YOU. DESERVE. IT.
Every single one of you including Judas DeSantis would have caved by now. Yet, this man still continues to fight. Why, because he loves America. He still wants to give your grandchildren a better America.
I’ll continue to side with Trump ever hour of everyday of the week. That’s the man I want in my foxhole.
DeSantis would have caved with the Billy Bush tape.
Completely agree! Thank you for this.
Last sentence is exactly why the Uniparty is pushing him. He will never withstand the bimbo strategy, and he sure won’t have us to count on.
DeSantis is to Biden, what Romney was to Obama.
BRAVO!!!
One other major slam on DJT (have not read about it at all). Attorney Robert Barnes on his Podcast last week
(Rumble.com – Viva/Barnes Live) advised that Letitia James, AG NY has brought suite against DJT (something to do with over valuing his properties).
The NY Judge that is hearing the case has ruled that Trump organizations CANNOT do business of any sort without the courts permission. Wait, what – isn’t that like *nationalizing a company* ?!!
They’ve been actively trying to manufacture dirt on him since 2015.
With all of the resources that have been dedicated to the task, I’d say Donald J. Trump has lived a squeaky clean life.
If he had unpaid parking tickets, everyone would know about it by now.
And the majority of us will support Trump and have through thick and thin however, he is a former President and should act like one who’s held that office. Trump himself had to know this was coming – all of us knew it. So, why even make the “personal” unpresidential attacks. If Trump wants the nomination it will be his. Attack those around DeSantis but don’t threaten to spill the personal dirt on them. Trump will never obtain their vote – the Never-Trumpers – but he will those that don’t know, care to know the inside-baseball stuff you and I know. They need to see the Presidential Trump not the personal threats.
God Bless Brother.
You are my people.
Trump is being Trump and that is what makes him so effective. I just laugh and move on. Prior to this spat, I started having issues with DeSantis because he started handing out millions of dollars in “bonuses” to cops and other special groups after the hurricane. He seems to have the same delusions that a lot of politicians have; that is, the money they confiscate from taxpayers is actually their money to spend by edict. Who hands out bonuses, but owners of private companies? The cops got “bonuses” even though they were paid double and triple overtime. But did the road crews, maintenance workers, wastewater crews, get any “bonuses” or just overtime? DeSantis picked the winners and losers by edict. How is that any different than what Biden did with student loans? I still like DeSantis, but will not support him over Trump. In addition, I am not going to fall into the trap that the media and others are setting to divide our coalition. With the corruption and wimps we have in leadership (McCarthy and McConnell), we may be getting to a point where a third party is necessary. If Trump is leading it, I will be there.
Now I have to wonder…if Dems can cheat, why can’t anyone else? Is it possible that the Uniparty elites threw in some extra ballots for DeSantis to bump up the margin just so they could prop him up as a Trump spoiler?
Dominion counts the vote according to the orders.
Antidote to “The Big Ugly”:
Murdoch, et all,….stop carrying water for the DNC/MSM/Rino GOPe, to stop Trump, who they all Fear the most.
1st. Superstar, DeSantis has not run or won on a national level,.. Trump has and can again (in a fair election).
2nd. All of the candidates that DeSantis backed across the nation in this
Mid Term election, they all lost,.. so Ron doesn’t have influence outside of Fl,… Trump won a 174/9 Mid Term candidate won/loss record Tuesday,… he has influence and a proven track record of supporting Maga candidates nationwide that win.
3rd. If DeSantis runs in a primary against Trump he will offend the Maga base voters who will not vote for him in a general and will never vote for him again, running his career for his “Bold” attempt that would split the Maga base, as the DNC/MSM/GOPe all want now.
4th. Ron is only 44 now and has plenty of time to advance his political career,… after he fulfills his duty to FL now as it’s highly successful Gov.
5th. The MSM will eat DeSatis alive if her runs for Potus, while Trump has a proven consistent record of kicking their derrieres, daily.
6th. Murdoch, et al,…Why do you want to stop Trump now and ruin the MAGA power house of America First voters by promoting your Superstar who has no influence outside of FL now,… unless you enjoy carrying water for Maga’s opponents??
Remember, it is the this Power House Maga Base that just gave the GOP the House and maybe the Senate! Remind Them Daily.
Simple answer, Murdoch et al is all in with the Uniparty /Globlists /Bushes etc -was never for PDJT – I remember Murdoch’s tweet in June 2015 before first debate , just after Donald Trump filed all his papers ( before that the line was it was a publicity stunt / marketing brand etc ) Murdoch then tweeted “Donald , stop beclowning yourself , thinking you can run for President” . The sentiments haven’t changed especially after he demolished all their favorites in primary, they only hate him even more …
I am sure his former employee, Lou Dobbs agrees 100%.
Good reminder re Murdoch!
Do everything you can to make sure Murdoch doesn’t make a dime off of you.
Forget Faux News and the NY Post. Fake news with fake sources.
Cut the cord if you have TV… even if you never flip to the channel, if it’s in your lineup, they make money off your subscription. Fact.
The more the media trash attack Trump, the more conformation they provide thatI have been right about him all along. Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy are the problem, not Trump. They, among others in the GOP, are the reason I left the GOP and went independent.
Do not forget to include the traitor, POS, Paul Ryan!
If you are one of those commenters who start off with : “I’ve always been a Trump supporter”…., “I love Trump, but…” and so on, understand this: You never understood that we are in the middle of a World War III and we need a War-Time President. Donald J. Trump is a War-Time President. AND you are NOT a true supporter of MAGA or Donald John Trump.
If you do not understand that reality, you should just get out of the way and go live your life as best you can, because we don’t have time to moddle-coddle you or your ilk.
You and your ilk are playing in the hands of the Never-Trumpers and the Communists running the “Democrat Party” and the “Uni-Party” in Washington, D.C. Their game plan has always been to destroy our Populist Movement and President Donald J. Trump, the Murder Weapon WE chose to lead OUR MAGA Movement.
If you are so blind that you cannot see the TRUTH hitting you in the face, then you are not equipped to think Critically, much less understand that there are no nice rules in war time.
The enemies’ Plan has always been to divide and conquer our MAGA movement and lead our country down the path of total Globalism forever.
I want President Trump and everyone working in and with the MAGA movement to get tougher, stand taller, speak louder and clearer!
If the Truth hurts and YOU can’t handle it, then get outta the FoxHole because you don’t have our backs!!!
This IS WAR!!!!!!!
Great comment. It’s easy to see who the chickens are on this site. They’re not in the war to win; instead, they are in the “I love Trump, I voted for Trump, BUT crowd. I am loyal to President Trump and will support his 3rd run any way I can. When the going gets tough, the tough get going and the weak run away.
Say it loud, say it proud: I am a MAGA Trumpster!
Card carrying Ultra-MAGA deplorable, reporting for duty. 🙂
The man has earned my respect and loyalty, and he has both.
I only wish that more Americans could see how much he loves this country and what he’s tried to do for us here on Main Street. He’s been a real life Captain America.
I used to follow John Cardillo, but I couldn’t stand this guy’s daily praise of DeSantis. It was almost everyday, over the most innocuous of things. For this crowd, every single press conference is covered. It’s like a weekly Hollywood production. I’m trying to avoid getting into the position where I “despise” DeSantis. I really don’t hate the guy. You guys in Florida would know him better than I do. However, if he doesn’t start breaking away from these “people” that are pushing him and trying to fracture this movement, his credibility with me is gonna go way down. I was thinking about this a few days ago: Just like the 3 pillars of conservatism that followed Reagan – social conservatism, fiscal conservatism, strong national defense — we too in MAGA have our own additional 3 pillars. Those 3 pillars are: borders, trade, and realism (foreign policy).
If we lose focus on those three pillars, we are gonna be in whole lot of trouble. I hear people mentioning Nikki Haley at this point, and I just wanna jump out the window. Anyway, I just hope Trump can still be a happy warrior. That’s what we love about him. I know it feels as if he’s being attacked by all the usual suspects, but he’s gotta keep doing what he’s doing with a smile. That’s what we love about him. Keep being jovial, keeping hitting the right notes, and above all keep the promise of a bright future alive. People are always drawn to the positive message.
I’m only for Desantis if (1) Trump doesn’t run and then (2) if Hawley doesn’t run. I guess Trump’s response can mean only one thing: He’s running for reelection.
The WSJ/Fox News GOPe types never change. As shown by their behavior in October 2016 after the so-called Psygate tapes (they wanted Trump to drop out and give Hillary the Presidency to “save the Senate), and their rush to confirm Biden’s election despite voting irregularities and their Jan 6 hysteria they would rather LOSE then win with a Populist/MAGA type.
Even though Trump believes in most of what they supposedly believe in. Friendly Business policies, tax cuts, sensible spending levels, energy independence, strong foreign policy, social conservatism, etc. As Sundance states, that’s all a pose. They really only care about globalism, open borders, and wars. Aka “invite the world, invade the world”.
Hawley has no name recognition at all outside of the folks who follow all the inside baseball of politics. Someone like that would never be able to run and win in this environment, I don’t believe.
Is Hawley the real deal? He strikes me as being part weathervane.
As the whole Trump/Desantis nonsense continues to evolve, all I can say is that if Trump is the ONLY chance we have, then we’re doomed. He caved in the end, he failed, he did nothing to protect the elections, he did nothing to quell the riots, he did not fire most of the deep state traitor scum that he had authority to fire…he’s just not savvy enough and not enough of a warrior to do the job. I voted for him twice. I won’t do so a third time.
So you will be voting for Old Joe?
Like the rest of the Concern Trolls here.
You my boy are shouting in the shadow of a Giant. You need to speak louder!
Guess what John, President Trump did not need your ‘vote’ the first, second nor third time.
John do yourself a favor and spew yourself importance, for someone who actually believes anything you say.
Ron DeSantis is a good governor but he’s got the wrong friends.
Trump made a complete mess of Pennsylvania via his Ego/Narcissism. Many of we conservatives in PA have had enough.
No. Your crooked ballot counters in Philthydelphia & Pittsville made a mess of Pennsylvania. Not Donald Trump
I’d worry more about living in a now permanently blue state with open vote theft everywhere and a Governor who wants to destroy your economy, but that’s just me.
Yeah, the 100% corrupt and f-ed up voting apparatus you have in your state had NOTHING to do with it.
I’m noticing this psy-ops being rolled out uniformly across wide swaths of the social landscape by the Communists and, TBH, they’re being effective. On one forum I read frequently, the fisticuffs over Trump v RDS have even replaced the customary honoring of veterans today. I doubt that will be the case here but such priority shifting is something I find alarming.
Sometimes the winning move is not to play.
CTH is a site that has historically had America first patriots visit and comment. Since before the Tea Party formed. It is therefore a target for people to come in and poison the minds of others and attempt to turn people from supporting Trump. It is happening on almost every “conservative” or “pro-Trump” site. It is an obvious, coordinated effort. I’m disappointed in some of my friends who almost immediately started to say they didn’t want Trump to run again and DeSantis was the answer. But hey, people can become conditioned easily. Just look at how many people fell for the Covid BS (masks, vaccines, etc) and became a part of the Mass Formation Psychosis event.
You are wrong.
Karl Rove raised money for your new dem governor. That’s establishment that did that to PA not Trump. The same establishment that loves your boy Ron. So tell me who is Ron going to work for in the white house? Them or you?
Bullshit. Your garbage legislature and election workers did that. Pennsylvania is a complete embarrassment. Have fun with the brain dead guy.
I wish our side had the ability to do what I suggested to my two brothers, and that is to fix every single election across the entire country, every single election no matter how small, to fix it so Republicans win 72.8% to the Democrats 27.2%. And then watch the Democrats heads explode.
With the execution of that strategy, at least it would’ve allowed a total reset. Of course the cyber people would have to be so good that they could not be caught. In such a scenario the election would have to be completely redone with paper ballots.
It would be so much fun to see the MAGA response, “What do you mean? I thought you said it was impossible to steal elections.”
It would be so much fun to see the mega response, “What do you mean? I thought you said it was impossible to steal elections.”
“Oh no, this machine voting is flawless.”
That would end all of this BS.

I’ve never seen you post here before – strange.
I recognize the name but the psy-ops folks are clever, they’ll use common names with small shifts in how they’re formed.
Makes it more difficult to form up dossiers on them, something forum owners sometimes do to potential threats to the forum. I know I did when running one. It was a full-time job.
Information warfare in the electronic realm has been going on for at least a couple decades and shows no sign of abating.
Oh. So you think Fetterman was legitimately elected?
The 2022 election fraud was worse than 2020.
Wake up.
Believe whatever you want. You’re wrong.
the d … rats and media do not care who is at the top of the Republican ticket, they will try and destroy whoever that maybe, and my vote for 2024 is TRUMP – he can go up against these creeps and make them crazy and there are not a lot of Republicans who has the balls to fight for the people like Trump
We don’t have a Republic if we can’t validly vote – we are cut off.
That is why Trump MUST be the nominee. This fact must be recognized and fixed. Nothing else matters now.
Sundance is probably right. Like most people here, I trust nobody at this point, but…
For some reason, though, “Old Testament Saul” has been on my mind. I’m probably wrong, but Donald Trump reminds me of Saul, who was instructed by God to destroy EVERYTHING Amalekite. He MOSTLY did. God forsook him and found another to do his will in DAVID.
My beef with Mr. Trump is the vaccines and COVID. I get it; “what choice did he have… He’s a germaphobe… He just did what he thought was right at the time… We didn’t know…”
BEFORE he was sworn in as President, he met with RFK Jr. and was agreeing to look into the biggest threat to our children: the PEDIATRIC VACCINE SCHEDULE put forth by our Goliath-Kraken Pharma-Industrial-Complex CDC. (If your kid is vax injured, you will understand). FFwd a week or two and Trump meets with Bill Gates and then he sidles up to BigPharma, Fauci and the CDC in 2020. NOW WE HAVE THIS mRNA VAX POISON ON THE PEDIATRIC SCHEDULE?! Sorry, but he SCREWED US ON THIS MATTER.
Trump seems like Saul. BigPharma and the CDC are the Amalekites. He could’ve done things right. He goofed.
I love this man. I voted for him both times. BUT HE IS A VEHICLE; he is NOT US. We have to rebuild the party WITH A VEHICLE. He took the Fauci fuel and broke down on vaccines. He abandoned the Jan 6ther prisoners. And now, he’s wanting to puncture the tires on any new vehicle that can get us further down the road? For everything, there is a season. It’s possible that DeSantis is garbage. It’s possible that DeSantis is just a tricked out Toyota Sienna sold to us as new, when in fact it was a salvage FLOOD vehicle. It’s also possible that he is a Reagan. It’s possible that his is David, following Saul. And David? He made mistakes, too.
If Trump and DeSantis could come together, they’d be unstoppable for AMERICA FIRST. I pray they do.
Just my 2 cents; and thank you, if you’ve read this far; but
Politicians are like cars. You need a vehicle to get you closer to your destination. However, if the trip is super LONG, your vehicle is good for about 5 YEARS. How many years has it been since summer 2015?
Seems like a lifetime ago going to that early PDJT rally in Redding where it was so hot on the tarmac that the sign on the podium came unglued and fell off while PDJT was speaking. A lifetime ago. I don’t recognize this Republic now. FUBAR
Trump is running again. Sundance is absolutely right about DeSantis and the RINOpugs. Now that we have once again failed to win the down ballot elections, the chances of this making a difference look bleaker than ever. We are political masochists, and we don’t seem to understand how we keep losing. Just my opinion, as usual, but in a couple more election cycles, every State in the Country will be voting like California does if we don’t pay attention to our local politics. Then we will know real humiliation. President Trump will never be able to fix this mess from the White House, and it also looks pretty bleak for us to ever fix the mess. Sorry, but I have been voting for well over 50 years and I am very pessimistic today.
The good news is emotions are transitory. We all have down days. Most of us oldsters have had many of them. We also have a lot of life experience to draw upon to get through the challenges.
Repairing the Republic will ultimately be up to us, by our own actions, by how we socialize our children and grandchildren, by our faith in the vision of our founders and trust in God’s plan for humanity.
We will make it. Some of us will be sacrificed along the way. History is full of stories like ours. Part of human existence. Thank you today to our Veterans who offered that full and final measure of devotion to the Republic; some were lost and some survived. We honor all.
The Republican Party is too nice and never want to start trouble or hurt someone’s feelings. That is why they can’t defeat the Democrats who are cruel, heartless, Evil, jealous, ruthless and don’t care how they treat others. The Republican Party has to be more like President Trump who is smart and tough and still the Dumb Republicans want to get rid of President Trump. That proves how Dumb the Republican Party is! The Rhinos want Ron DeSantis to run instead. If DeSantis runs, the Democrats will eat DeSantis up and spit him out. President Donald J. Trump is the only person that can save our country, not Ron DeSantis, or anyone else that runs for President in 2024.
PDJT is our ally in our very difficult job of restoring the honor and integrity to this great Republic. We need more allies like him.
America First. Save America. 👍❤️🇺🇸
As of this moment 2024 is already lost. The infighting is incredible and, of course, the Democommunist Party will use that to full advantage as they have already demonstrated in several states. Just antidotally, phone calls I listened to on the radio are 4 to 1 against President Trump running.
I will also throw in that by November, 2024 there will have been about 9 groups of the indoctrinated, voting 80-90% D, that have reached voting age while, at the sane time, there have been large numbers of older conservatives/Republicans that have passed. It would be interesting to see the math.
Your problem is that you seem to focus on “as of this moment.” Here’s a flashback from a moment in July 2015: Looking ahead to the general election, Clinton continues to hold significant leads over Bush (54% Clinton to 41% Bush) and Christie (56% Clinton to 37% Christie). She has also opened up wide leads over Rubio (56% Clinton to 39% Rubio) and Walker (57% Clinton to 38% Walker), as those two have slipped among independents. Clinton’s clearest advantage, however, is over Donald Trump, 59% say they would vote for Clinton if the 2016 match-up were between her and Trump, 34% say they would back Trump.

Many posts today, such as yours, bring to mind the David Mamet quote introduced to me by Sundance
– “In order to continue advancing their illogical arguments modern liberals have to pretend not to know things…”
p.s. more Mamet quotes here – https://www.azquotes.com/author/9353-David_Mamet
Apparently Trump has also fired a shot at Youngkin. I have some limited experience running/consulting on local and state political campaigns, some successfully, many years ago.
The first rule I learned for a campaign is to build your candidate’s name recognition. Concomitant with that is to firm up your Republican base. Work on building positive name ID. All things being equal, a nobody can’t effectively raise enough money to attack a somebody. The third rule is too increase your opponents’ negatives. In the homestretch, work on increasing your base–independents didn’t begin to pay attention to races until after Labor Day. Leave voters with a positive message. The candidate’s only jobs were to raise money for the campaign and meet voters, in that order.
Electioneering has changed since I was involved so many years ago, but those were the basics for state and local campaigns. Of course, the basic rules have been successfully broken, as when I saw an unknown challenger win by relentlessly attacking the incumbent from the git go. The incumbent had decided to ignore the gnat, and the gnat drove the incumbent’s negatives way, way, up.
General Trump is pointing out the enemy for a pre-emptive strike!
Brilliant!!!
Yes, but remember, in the 2024 Republican presidential primary, we technically do not have an incumbent president seeking re-election, but a former president seeking his former office. Not sure how this plays out, gnat wise. But since we are talking the Republican primary, Trump, if he runs, is the only candidate I see who has a national voter base, unless Pence decides to run. If DeSantis runs, for the primary he still needs to build a national Republican image, which he is trying to do now, because believe it or not he is not well know outside of Florida and to Republican activists, which are relatively few compared to the general national voter base.
Have that experience myself. I was a young Pol Consultant PR trainee in a New Orleans PR/Ad Agency in ’77 working on Mayor Moon Landrieu/Gov Edwin Edwards campaigns.
Louisiana is where the French wrote the book on political corruption in America,.. it was not written by Tammany Hall or even Cook Cty.
Previously, I canvassed and worked for AUH2O in ’64 after having done so since ’58 for a local Congressman’s campaigns. My grand father was a State Senator, so I learned at his knee early on and he put me to work in the field.
In ’80, I was offered the job as the Admin Sec/Press Sec of a Congressional candidate who won big in Louisiana.
I side stepped the offer and he won big,… only to retire a year later rather than endure a public Congressional Hearing/Criminal charges for campaign $ corruption. BEST career decision I have ever made.
Congress doesn’t like washing their dirty laundry in public, so they cut him a deal with no jail time that he accepted.
Forever, politicians and Parties used Ward Healer tactics to gain/retain political power at the local/state level, see Chicago, etc..
JFK changed that MO and created a paradigm shift in ’60 when he hired Madison Ave Agencies/MSM to sell his candidacy like they did soap to the mass market.
Since then, most of the rules/tactics you mention for the local/state level have remained.
But today, it has become an all out unrelenting Info War,… hence Biden mumbling now about ‘looking at’ Elon Muck,… cuz he’s about to ham string their ability to Dominate the Info War by denying Twitter’s ability to maintain the negative narratives to keep the Sheeple in the herd and in line.
And, hence today’s All Fronts attack on PDJ Trump by all the usual suspects.
Stay safe in this Info War,… but Never stop pushing back via the web and in person with family, friends, neighbors and associates,…. our Nation hangs in the balance now more than ever.
No gratitude from DeSantis. He’s totally owned by Wall Street and big donors.
For not being on any ballot, President Trump is certainly in their heads. President Trump doesn’t need the Republican Party, but they need him to even approach relevance. Their so-called leaders, McCarthy, McConnell, and McDaniels never really spoke out except to funnel money to their own toe-the-line candidates.
Not even coming close, McCarthy cobbled together a Contract with America lite memo of blahbittyblah garbage that rivaled a kindergartner’s crayon drawing about three weeks prior to November 8th. Some leadership – sarcasm off!
It would be interesting to see how many Republican House candidates ran on that platform — none, maybe?
👍
I could see this from a mile away when Trump immediately got attacked for the Midterms. I have turned off the CONservatives, can’t stand hearing them laud DeSantis and go after Trump, FAKE NEWS all on the side of globalism to enrich themselves and to hell with the workers who’s jobs will continue going overseas!
Ron DeSantis:
*Spent five days in a bunker following the Mar-a-Lago raid.
*Refused to mention Trump by name when he finally did comment on the Mar-a-Lago raid.
*Fired his entire brand image consulting team and his entire communications team in the aftermath of the Mar-a-Lago raid.
*Published campaign ads OUTSIDE of Florida.
*Raised over $200 million for his re-election campaign, with 94% of that money coming from billionaires and corporations.
*Canceled a scheduled appearance at a Lee Zeldin fundraiser after meeting with New York real estate donor who supported Kathy Hochul.
*Is endorsed by Club For Growth (C4G), Paul Ryan, and Jeb Bush.
*Voted for TPP while in Congress.
*Supports funding the War in Ukraine.
*Has confiscated more guns than any other governor in the country.
*Has remained silent over January 6.
*Imposed criminal penalties on companies which refuse to do business with Israel.
*Has refused to support E-Verify.
*Refused to commit to serving a full term if reelected.
Take into account the above, and it’s obvious that he’s putting on an elaborate act. His only goal is to become President, and should he win he will very likely govern as an establishment neocon RINO. The third term of Bush, rather than the second term of Trump.
For these reasons, I will not be supporting him even if Trump doesn’t run. If you want a REAL worthy successor to Trump, go with people like Rand Paul or Tulsi Gabbard.
DISCLAIMER: Credit goes to Sundance for the info listed in the above bullet points. They don’t quote him verbatim, but they’re paraphrased into a more concise version.
Voted for TPP while in Congress. Supports giving away American jobs.
Trust Tulsi Gabbard at your own peril. Seriously.
Rand Paul and/or Tulsi Gabbard will lose in a heartbeat!
Don’t trust Gabbard at all; never have, never will…she’s just too cute by half.
Let’s be clear: I want Trump to win.
But his ability to tell people a story and get those who are not vociferous supporters is atrocious. People who do not read and understand the material on this site have no freaking clue what he was talking about. He sounded like an old man telling people to get off his lawn.
Right now, his messaging isn’t good enough. I’m sorry if that rankles people, but that’s the reality we face.
He needs to become (or hire) a better storyteller because these temperamental screeds won’t get the uninitiated on his side.
Some of you clearly do not want to hear that, but it’s true.
He ain’t winning diddly until he gets better at it.
And I say this as a true supporter of Trump.
You have to say something if you see someone you care about engaging in self-destructive behavior. And the WAY he’s communicating is self-destructive.
Tell the story, bring people along on the journey.
The insults were fun for a while, but they’re causing more harm than good right now. He is actually helping his enemies right now.
“People who do not read and understand the material on this site have no freaking clue what he was talking about.”
THIS.
Yep, keep it real simple for voters,…
“Do you want $ 1.80 gas or $ 4.00 gas,… groceries at 18% less costs or continued rising prices now? We are All in this together, and together we can solve these problems if we choose the right people to run the USA. I have done it before, and I am ready to do it again,.. for All Americans.”
Jimbo, I disagree with you in part. Trump, if he’s running, is cognizant of potential, strong primary challengers. What he is doing now is firming up his base support. His current messaging is to his supporters, to get them ready for a primary battle. Red meat to the already committed. In attacking his potential rivals he is trying to drive up their negatives early on to counter the already strong positives they have with Republican activists. He is trying to bar the door, so to speak. He is not trying to win the hearts and minds of disinterested voters at this point.
Fair point Willy.
I do think he’s already got us on his side. We’re not the ones he needs to win over.
However, he can’t afford to lose anyone, something he’s not doing a stellar job of with his last message.
Trump the politician needs to meet Trump the businessman and develop a better marketing campaign because he’s starting to lose customers.
And he’s making DeSantis look like the bigger man in the process by going to the name-calling gutter while DeSantis stays on the sidewalk.
Like I said, I want him to win.
Maybe he needs to go back to the 2016 formula of describing the better future and a way out of this mess rather than try to right all past wrongs.
Are you telling us you sincerely believe that the 2020 election “result ” was because advice, such as yours, was not followed???
This is exactly right. Attacking DeSantis for his handling of covid, and the whole rant about sunshine…it’s completely ridiculous. Trump really has no room to talk about handling of Covid anyway when he empowered Fauci and rushed out the clot shot. If Trump wants to attack DeSantis for being a pawn of the establishment and underline the fact that DeSantis’ benefactors want to defeat the America First agenda then get to work on that. I think its a huge mistake to try to make any primary campaign a referendum on the handling of covid because Trump’s hands are not clean in that department and everyone knows it
very well said.
Yes, he needs a better PR team. But what’s the point if he does not follow their advice? The only advice he ever followed was “do not declassify” (Rosenstein). His bad judgement is legendary. Lots of his wounds are self-inflicted.
And what professional would want to endure everyday abuse and potential tongue lashing in public and humiliating nicknames? That’s why he seems to be surrounded mostly by yes men and blind worshipers and there is no one who would tell the emperor the truth and make him listen. What people conveniently attribute to “bad advice” is the actual absence of worthy advisors.
Miller writes his speeches and that’s the only positive influence. But that’s the same old speech we heard dozens of times and it’s getting stale. It’s like if you watched one rally you watched them all.
What he is doing now is a pure PR disaster. This will not bring him more support. Quite the opposite. Attacking DeSantis personally (especially right before the elections AND on Election Day) makes Trump appear small, petty, desperate, jealous, and crude. And DeSantis, just by staying cool and collected and not taking the bait (shows discipline) wins in comparison.
At the same time he endorses McCarthy for Speaker. Pure MAGA that one.
Let me tell you what happened in South Carolina. Nancy Mace (a strong candidate) who he endorsed in 2020 and who won the R seat back from the Dems after it was lost in 2018, dared to utter some criticism. She immediately became persona non grata and Trump denounced her and endorsed her opponent, the same weak candidate who lost in ‘18. I voted for the Trump-endorsed gal against my best judgement. She crashed and burned. Mace won easily.
Then Mace won her re-election with a comfortable margin. Make your own conclusions.
Trunp picked some bad candidates. Kathy Barnette had some baggage, but someone similar would have been much better than picking celebrity Oz. I realize it was mail balloting that flipped the election, but that would have been overcome by a better candidate, as Ron Johnson did in Wisconsin. The governor’s pick was a total loon talking about the Kennedy Assassination and 9/11 was an inside job. Probably if he had just picked different there, Oz wins. He should have picked Mo Brooks in AL, which he did but at the first sign he might lose, he abandoned him for NeverTrumper Katie Britt.
If this is Trump’s way of exposing the GOPe and their machinations, he’s doing a bad job of it. He sounds more petulant than insightful, and anyone who isn’t reading “The Last Refuge” may miss the distinction.
Just so we are clear :
THE PERVERTS AT THE LINCOLN PROJECT JUST ENDORSED DeSANTIS.
Its like they are happy to kill him off. Everyone knows what Ryan is, and they sure know about the LP, so why aren’t they distancing themselves?
I do not like this infighting, but in reality, Scott and Grahmn most likely were the cause of blunting the Red Wave. Single Women tipped the balance and that was partly due to Grahmn, and Scott’s social security comments didn’t help. Ironically, open borders is a far greater threat to Social Security than Scott and the Republicans, but Republicans don’t know how to formulate common sense communications and arguments.
Thank you Sundance. This is such a relief. I was beginning to think that support for DJT was really moving away from him. Glad to know I am the lone supporter of President Trump. I don’t dislike Desantis – in fact, I think he has done a good job in FL. It is that no one else has the chutzpah to stand up to the Deep State and it will take a lot of chutzpah this time around to really clean house.
Now may he the time to for a MAGA party unless McConnell and McCarthy can be removed from leadership roles. In 24 the globalists part of the party will be undermining anything Trump, even if Ron doesn’t run. Time to break away and let the R party die. If both run, they will hand the WH to a non-Biden dem after all the bloody primaries. I couldn’t support DeSantis if he is in bed with Ryan, McConnell, globalists et al, if he won the primary. History has proven there is no substantial difference in Uniparty candidates. I would write in Trump in 24.
This is all noise/distraction and fodder for the pundits. They aren’t going to let DeSantis or any republican win the WH. They have already lost Mi. and Pa. for 24. Nothing was done about 2020 so what makes people think the republicans will get smarter??
You cannot worship god and money!
The Conservative Tree House is getting a lot of airplay for insightful and well-researched political commentary. It’s big jolt to people’s belief that Ron DeSantis was American First and a reliable Trump ally. Now we find out Ron has been sleeping around and become a sugar baby to the GOP establishment sugar daddy. A lot of people are experiencing the grieving process, starting with denial.
It’s a very risky, Trump will be 78 in 2024, and also very tragic that there is only one man in the country that can stand up for it.
That is a very insightful observation. We need a deeper bench.
Exactemundo.
