President Trump can see and hear the same things everyone else can see and hear, including the coordinated media and GOPe effort to diminish him and the MAGA movement within the Republican club.
The Democrats and professional Republican class both want to see the populist movement destroyed for the same reason Mitch McConnell wanted the Tea Party destroyed in 2010. The assembly of the united middle-class and blue-collar base inside the Republican Party, essentially the broad MAGA movement, represents a Main Street threat to Wall Street control of the GOPe.
There are trillions at stake.
As Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ megadonor and Citadel hedge fund billionaire, Ken Griffin, openly admitted recently the Wall Street goals are (1) stop the populist movement and (2) get the Republican Party back in alignment with the multinational “corporate world.” These are the same goals of the Republican leadership in Washington DC and the same goals as the corporate media who serve as the public relations firms for Wall Street.
The collaborative group, which includes the entirety of the funding mechanism and management behind Ron DeSantis, viewed the 2022 midterm election as an opportunity to reset the Republican Party away from the populist MAGA influence. The strategy was to roll out of the August DOJ Mar-a-Lago targeting, directly into a nationally rebranded DeSantis operation and then lead up to the 2022 midterm election.
Anything that can cast Donald Trump as a negative would be enhanced, and anything that would cast the MAGA movement as a positive would be diminished. In part, this is the intent behind the delayed positive election results from key MAGA races in CO, WA, NV and AZ, combined with emphasis on the negative -albeit controlled- election ballot outcomes from Michigan and Pennsylvania.
At the 30,000-foot level the attacks against President Trump are, quite frankly, attacks against the MAGA populist movement represented by President Trump.
The professional political class, both DNC and RNC club members, politicians and donors, want to get back to normal political business operations in Washington DC. The key element at the core of their concern is financial and economic control. Again, there are trillions at stake.
Just like we can see this coordinated effort, so too can President Trump see the construct of the narrative as it is being engineered and delivered. We can see the Paul Ryan wing, the Mitch McConnell wing and the corporate media division all working in concert. The entities described genuinely do not think the larger Republican base can see it, but they underestimate us at their own peril.
Things are never going to return to normal for them, but they refuse to accept that. The most adamant of the professional Republican apparatus, in concert with the multinational financial world, would rather see the GOP lose every election – if that’s what it takes to stop the MAGA movement. They view this as a zero-sum game, and they have planted proactive seeds for exactly this purpose.
A more than happy to assist CONservative Inc new media apparatus, the “influencers” as they call them, are part of the dynamic that was recruited in early 2022 {See Here}. It’s the use of this crew and others of like-minded disposition that helps the corporate group drumbeat an anti-populist, anti-MAGA message with the intention to eliminate the head of the movement.
In addition to their common vertical challenges, the DeSantis 2024 influence group are almost identical to the Cruz 2016 group. The difference this time around is the pretending game; where they pretend DeSantis is not the intended beneficiary of their relentless anti-Trumpism in both print and broadcast appearances.
The group was recruited in January 2022 and includes Fox News’ Lisa Marie Boothe, Turning Point USA’s Benny Johnson, Newsweek opinion editor Josh Hammer, The Rubin Report’s Dave Rubin, New York Post and FoxNews.com columnist Karol Markowicz, Claremont Institute fellow David Reaboi and conservative writers like Jordan Schachtel, John Cardillo, along with Ben Shapiro and Guy Benson.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been positioned as the intended recipient for the disenfranchised MAGA movement’s support, if they can just get President Trump out of the equation and exploit the vulnerability in his absence. However, all previous efforts to shake the bond between President Trump and the MAGA movement have failed.
Using the 2022 midterm election control, they are pounding the wedge harder now, with increased ferocity and urgency to break the bond.
Just like in 2016, the GOPe multinationals, corporatists, Wall Street donors, Never Trump CONservatives, and just about all controlled media systems are being enlisted in this effort. President Trump can see the construct just as clearly as you can.
That’s why President Trump is hitting back against the effort by singling out the wedge they are trying to use.
President Trump isn’t pretending. He’s targeting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis because President Trump, like us, can clearly see the nature of the construct that has been manufactured to oppose the MAGA movement. This is a fight for the future of the Republican party.
DeSantis is playing too-cute-by-half, in pretending not to be a participant in the professional republican operation. If Governor Ron DeSantis was not an active participant, he would not be playing coy with his 2024 GOP nomination intent. Trump isn’t going to play pretend. As long as DeSantis pretends, he will be targeted by President Trump because Trump isn’t going to allow the professional republican apparatus to destroy the populist movement.
Let Con Inc go and form a new party now of acceptable republicans. Let the people of selfie-importance assemble to take pictures of their lunches and dinners for social media shares, while the scruffnecks in MAGA assemble to push back against the new American corporatist agenda that finances them.
The new republican party is the working-class people’s party, the MAGA party, and President Donald J Trump is going to defend it.
Steadfast…. This is “The Big Ugly“!
A voice of reason in the wilderness.
Thank you.
I have been planting the seeds since Sundance brought to our attention.
Just a casual comment here and there..sending the DeSanctimonious commercial, etc. to people.
A heads up FYI to others to keep an eye on what is unfolding…and usually insert that the worst Swamp creatures are behind/supporting this.
A promises made-made Promises kept… President Trump vs. a swamp backed Governor. .
I will back a proven winner…not a backstabber.
Yup….I am just planting the seeds…..
Simple.
Trump has proven he cannot be bought. He is for the people.
DeSantis has already been bought. He now owes the big donors of the Uniparty for their contributions.
How can control in the House switched to the GOP be a “fail” to blame on Trump?
Gaslighting Nonsense.
Aw, his attacks on DeSantis, aw. What did God’s chosen governor do when Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate was raided by the FBI?
He didn’t do shit, that’s what.
So you have chosen to stand by the handpicked candidate of Jeb Bush, Paul Ryan, Karl Rove, Mitch McConnell and the Lincoln Project, huh?
You are not “as MAGA as you can get.” You are a seminar poster, clear as day. We’re not morons around here. Go back and post this propaganda at Hot Air. Ed Morrissey will love you.
What KILLS me is I am a single mom with 4 kids and 2 (busy) jobs in healthcare and I can keep up with different alt media and many of the alt media sit their completely dumbfounded on why Trump is pushing back. I will call two out: TGP and RAV. How is it that it is THEIR job to be in the know and they are clueless and I post these articles in comments and still they stay clueless night after night and day after day?!?
The correct and only answer to someone who tells you they support Desantis:
”Jeb Bush, Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney and John Kerry agree with you”
his bush network of donors , which is only a network of billionaires can be run on every commercial
The notion that billionaires will work with populists is fascism.
When Americans recognize the core values of these Republicans, then the path forward will become obvious.
The Republican plutocrats of the 1950s were trying to withstand communism. They most decidedly were not populists.
The globalists of the Cold War era were not populists. Republicans of the Cold War era were certainly globalists, but their value system was not communism. The globalist residue that remains, like the Bush or Cheney families are not populists.
Some multi-national corporations have chosen Republicans as their champions, but the values on display are not populist.
Fascist is not name-calling. Fascist is the value system we must battle, and democracy is not included in their value system. The welfare state sanctifies and justifies everything they do. Start there.
Well said raptor, well said.
I support Desantis. I support a Trump/Desantis ticket. Missing from the “facts” you present, is what does Desantis say? I have heard him say he won’t run, if Trump runs. Please provide the link where Desantis says he is willing to run against Trump? He knows he can’t win without Trump. Keep talking about what MSM/Rinos/neocons/neolibs say and disenfranchise those of us that have watched Desantis successfully govern for the last 4 years. Question Desantis’ foreign policy stance or his other unknowns/flaws, but to paint him with a “not Trump” label plays into the MSM/Rinos/neocons/neolibs narrative. What happens to the donor money if it is a Trump/Desantis ticket? Who benefits by splitting MAGA into Trump vs Desantis camps? Trump needs to focus on uniting MAGA and stop letting the MSM/Rinos/neocons/neolibs distract him.
You go your way and we’ll go ours.
Trump doesn’t need a compromised running mate. Period.
He’s been there and done that.
They’re trying to kill him off before he announces.
And they’re doing it to pave the way for their “fighter” DeSantis who is so tough he must be protected from Trump’s mean comments.
I literally laughed out loud. Great post!
“Top Guv”, indeed. LOL
Love my governor Love my governor said: “I have heard him say he won’t run, if Trump runs. Please provide the link where Desantis says he is willing to run against Trump?”
Can you provide the link where Ron Desantis stated (as you “heard him say“) he won’t run if President Trump runs?
I tried “googling” for it and all I have been able to find is “sources say he said that”, not “and here’s Desantis saying it”. There is a (big) difference there.
You heard him say it – so could you please provide the link?
A Trump-DeSantis ticket would be unstoppable. Sundance, as always, expertly explains all what goes on behind the curtain. The important point is most people do not have that depth of view.
That said, I think Trump is making a big mistake with his barbs against DeSantis and I am wide open to hear from others here why it’s a good strategy. The way he speaks comes off as “all about me.”
As a skilled negotiator, Trump certainly has a diverse toolset, but he always seems to go for the hammer. He could have commended DeSantis for his win and complimented his handling of the hurricane, then deftly point out that it demonstrates Trump’s recognition of his talent and helping him out in his early “struggling” years. You can compliment with an underlying cut–just a warning nick. Trump would do well to try a scalpel for a change. Calling Ron an average republican governor makes Trump look petty. I think it’s a bad strategy with terrible optics, but I doubt Trump will listen to anyone and change. He is who he is.
“He could have commended DeSantis for his win and complimented his handling of the hurricane …”
And Gov. DeSantis could have done something more than send out a vague, cowardly tweet after the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago.
Donald Trump never goes after someone who ends up not deserving it. Ron DeSantis has been co-opted by the worst elements of the elite GOPe. The world will eventually see that if he continues to get endorsements from Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush, Karl Rove and the like.
You comfortable with Ron DeSantis attracting company like that? It’s a fire engine red flag to me.
Hey after all,
The God made a governor……….
Actually, it was President Trump that made ronnie governor..
He announced he voted for DeSantis and asked others to do the same. Jeeeeeees.
What exactly has RDS done, that isn’t what any average condervative governor would do?
Pick an arguement with child grooming Disney?
Open treatment centers for co-valent plasma?
Adeptly handle hurricane relief efforts, in a State where its INEVITABLE that a hurricane is going to come, just a matter of when.
He has done WELL, as a Governor, and Sundance and everyone else who points out who he is in bed with, has aknowledged that. But again no more than any Conservative Governor SHOULD do.
However, lie down with dirty, mangy dogs, and your gonna get fleas, and a stink that just don’t wash off.
Ron is, in fact, “an average republican governor”. However, unlike far superior republican governors, CONservative Media influencers have spent a year creating an image of Ron that’s disconnected from reality.
Rons their 2022 version of previous creations like Dan Crenshaw ie Eye Patch McCain 2020 and “principled outsider conservative constitutionalist” Lyin’ Ted 2015.
Personally, I appreciate Trumps honesty. Toto Trump, despite all efforts to silence him, keeps trying to get people to turn away from illusions and see the reality usually hidden behind curtains of lies.
Why are you trying to change him into a loser type?
We like him the way he is. Why should he be subtle with his criticism? DeSantis should be able to handle the straight talk, being such a great fighter and all.
I like Trump as a bull in the China closet that is all of these mediocre ordinary politicians.
He does not play their game.
Plus. Doing the backhanded complememnt/ criticism is so passive aggressive.
That is not who he is.
Did you hear “Ready for Ron’s” speech? The number of I’s rivaled Obama.
we should be happy that President Trump (do you have no respect?)
is smarter than most of us
.
A Trump-DeSantis ticket would be stupid.
It would divest Florida of a strong governor — and if we have any hope at all of fixing this country, and that includes back to federalism, we need every single strong governor we can get when Trump comes back into office. The VP position is a nothingburger, the understudy.
.
it would also sacrifice FL’s 29 EC votes from the start AND place another ENEMY inside the gates (think VP TRAITOR)
UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL.
Sorry but mega donors demand actions for their financial support and DeSantis readily accepted the money and likewise the condition. Yes, DeSantis has been a good FL Governor, but the second he states his intention to run for POTUS in 2024 if Trump is running, which he will because that’s the condition, it will validate his true intent and deception. The GOPe/RINOs need Trump and MAGA destroyed because they are a viable threat to ending the globalist gravy train of power and wealth that has resulted in the destruction of our Constitution and Constitutional Republic. When people like Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush and other notable RINO’s, anti-Trumpers and even Democrats endorse DeSantis, then DeSantis is compromised and is being used as a wedge to divide, conquer and destroy MAGA as a threat to our current federal government dictatorship.
Exactly. DeSantis’s own patron Griffin has said he wants to make the party less populist, ie less MAGA.
DeSantis has a globalist patron demanding that he move away from the base of the party.
He has a patron controlling him already.
.
Who benefits by splitting MAGA into Trump vs Desantis camps?
Then DON’T. There is absolutely no need for “camps” because Donald Trump is FAR more qualified to be president. There are financial, economic, global, and negotiation issues at stake. HUGE international issues.
Moreover, there is NO one who could have stood for populism and nationalism while fending off the constant, continuous defamation, insults, investigations, underminings, harassment, persecution, subpoenas, depositions, lawsuits, and threats that Trump and his family have been under and still deal with every day. And yet he still gets up and goes out optimistically and at his own considerable expense to fight for us and this country.
By contrast, Ivy League Ron DeSantis — who has had enormous support from a Republican legislature and state bureaucracy — has had to prove himself against nothing like that. He has no business experience. No background in economics. No global experience. Never ran a company. His military JAG lawyer stuff is not high-level litigation or corporate law. His military experience is the equivalent of paralegal desk work. There’s no evidence of negotiation skills. His prior experience is as a Congresser making nice — and voting with the Big Club. No matter what the hype, or the copied rhetoric or mannerisms, he’s not close to being in the same league as Donald Trump.
DeSantis needs to stay in Florida.
.
Ron is a Harvard trained lawyer and career politician.
Unlike Kari Lake, Ron has NEVER said he won’t run in 2024. Instead, when asked, he’s said he has “no plans to run”.
Plans change. Plans started to be made by the Establishment early this year when CONservative media influencers began their coordinated ” Savage, HeavyD” DeSantis hyping campaign.
Youngkin was/is their plan b candidate for 2024 if Ron doesn’t pan out.
Hopefully President Trump can get Ron to wake up before the Swamp demons destroy Ron in their effort to destroy Trump and his MAGA Movement.
say the morons who one do not understand their US Constitution and two do not understand the reach and influence of the Uniparty….some are just SOOOOO gullible they will fall for anyone they think is shiny at the moment
this is naive — it is not just what a real smoothie politician SAYS — it is what he DOESN’T say. Follow the money. To whom is DeSantis beholden — who funded his recent race? CTH is very clear — the Globalist American Empire / the GOPE, benefits if there is a split in the AMerican First group and too many go to DeSantis
Desanctimonius IS the MSM, rino,neocon/neoliberal candidate.
What R.Desantis says and what he actually does are two different things. Those who call DJT a failure and a loser are spreading the fleece for Desantis. Ron D is waiting to see if the fleece is sanctified. Very long wait ahead — like NEVER!.
Love my governor? LOL
Where is the video post Mar-A-Lago raid that DeSantis has said he won’t run against Trump.
Kick his ass President Trump.
Yes!!!😁😁
We The People stand with Donald J. Trump!!!
Canadians stand with President Donald John Trump!! God Bless, Gospodi Pomiluj!!
Rfk Jr. said Trump took $1 million from Pfizer and destroyed his vaccine safety commission. What’s that about?
probably another lie
if you posted it then you should know the details
https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/megyn-kelly-rfk-jr-pfizer-vaccine-safety/
One million ?
That’s pocket change for President Trump.
Your comment is fake news.
We’re keeping your coat.
The GOPe is a collection of pampered cocktail circuit dimwits living inside a very small bubble far removed from the realities of life that the rest of us routinely experience. Why on earth would anyone who regularly visits this site care what these cartoon cutouts think about anything? C’mon man!
Remember, these people encouraged Liz to base her 2024 run for POTUS, on the J6 committee.
Bubblethink, much?
Yes, they ARE idiots. Commie rat bastards, exposing themselves.
1000 upvotes!
There is a saying “Never put all your eggs into one basket”. I am happy to put ALL my eggs into Trump’s basket. Why? BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE IS A FECKLESS CORRUPT CHICKEN! NO FRIKIN SURRENDER, NOT EVER!
“Let’s go Brandon and all double crossers!”
Micheal Hudson said it best…
The equivalent was like what the Clintons did to the United States since the 1990s. In the United States, the Democratic Party is the far right wing party now. And I guess when I answered the question about what can Americans do to help the housing crisis… You cannot solve the housing crisis until you end the Democratic Party. You cannot solve the labor problem without ending the Democratic Party. Because that is the party of Wall Street. That is the party of the 1%. Its function is to make sure that there cannot be any left wing opposition to block the Republican Party’s program.
https://thesaker.is/the-real-progressive-interview-of-michael-hudson-with-transcript/
Although I like the saker for their geopolitical stuff and their stuff on Russia, China, I dont agree with Michael Hudson. He is a never-Trumper to the core, says, Cheney and Trump are the same, whereas in reality Trump is THE proponent of industrial capitalilsm (as opposed to financial capitalism) and Cheney et al. are Straussian elitists, who want nuclear war for the masses, whereas Trump stated that the nuclear question is the most important reason he was running (lilke in the old New York Times interview quoted then by Thomas Wictor).
Sounds like Michael Hudson is a socialist tool. They never think we are communist enough. Only a flat out Communist would call the Democrats a far-right party.
you could see this construct happening (at fox news and social media ) and all the fore mentioned players (in tweets and their writings) long before the mid-terms, like by a year or more before. They are not hiding anymore and neither should we.
Let the Big Ugly games begin!
I Just pray that the majority of MAGA are smarter now and can see the snake oil salesmen and women
from a mile off and will stand and fight side by side. #HoldTheLine
And I can only assume you turn off the game in defeat when the other team wins the coin toss.
Sorry this is out of context. I was replying (I thought) to a comment I cannot even find now. It said something along the lines of, I like both but if you think this diatribe helped Trump, I can only assume you’re a moron. I disagree with that assertion. Strongly.
Well-written and right on point by Sundance. It’s sometimes difficult to see the big picture (from thirty thousand feet) as to what’s happening, and so needs to be explained early and often, to keep some in maga from getting demoralized. Knowledge is power.
The fact that we may have control of both chambers of Congress shortly, and considering all that we’re up against, it just shows that we are slowly but surely turning the tide against Wash.DC. et al–
It helps, is essential even, to develop the Mr. Spock training; learn to SUPPRESS your emotions, recognise you have ’emotional triggers’ that are like raw nerves, and if anything even brushes them, you react.
We ALL have them. The thing is, a strong emotional responce causes critical thinking to shut down.
Hence, like MR. Spock, you need to train your mind, to supress your emotions.
If you do that, you will find it much easier to develop 30,000′ eyes, and to avoid being manipulated.
First we need to get the George Soros Secretaries of State out of office. They control the elections in most States.
Spot on Sundance. Brilliant!
Amen.
Did you not read the post?
He was attacked first. Relentlessly.
All of the DeSantistans call him a fighter, but want him to be treated with kid gloves.
LOL
Exactly. They said they wanted a fight. Then they start crying at the first counter punch
Wow. Where did the comment I was replying to go?
Guess the trolls are getting stomped tonight.
Awesome.
How about a Trump/DeSantis ticket? That might garner 97% of all votes (including the pre-printed ballot box stuffers).
That may have been possible PRIOR to the raid of Melania’s closet…now…fat chance.
DeStinkums as VP would be akin to Pence with a pinky-promise to play nice…
Worse than Pence because of his ambition.
Does the name Pence mean anything? No, no, no a thousand times no. Besides which, As long as they are both Florida residents, they can’t run together.
Pence may be a good Christian man, but he made a great error in his most sacred duty to examine and allow the overwhelming evidence of voting fraud and anomalies to come to the floor for a vote. As a famous actor once said: “You can’t fix stupid.”
how do you know he is a good Christian man – because he told you so?
I myself would not label him as a Christian because what he did wasn’t a mistake.
Besides other Revelations concerning him.
Incorrect, read the appropriate section of the COTUS again.
Dream his was in on the raid. e was fine with what they did to Martin’s room and how they treated our First Lady.
Desantis, not dream
I’m guessing Martin was supposed to be Baron?
😂 yes. My tablet is possessed. Sorry everyone.
I do think RDS had advance knowledge the raid was going to occur. I do not recall RDS supporting fellow Floridian Republican Matt Gaetz when he was being viciously and falsely accused . RDS lets one or two others “go first” and if it seems successful he flamboyantly follows suit-like the flying of migrants to MV, unlocking and unmasking his state, etc. I look at him and his staged family pictures and think “Truman Show”
No. Absolutely Not worth it, a ticket with DeSantis in the VP slot would not only be no different than when Reagan put Bush in the VP slot to appease the old guard of the party and the moment Bush got into office he systematically began tearing down everything Reagan had done but a DeSantis VP would be consciously working to undermine every single thing PDJT would be working to get done. How can people not see this?
There is nothing original about DeSantis. He sees what others are doing to get accolades and simply mimics them. Those wonderful things that DeSantis has been able to accomplish in Florida is because it was the Republican majority in the Florida legislature that passed those laws DeSantis was then able to sign. He didn’t instigate those laws, others did.
Even now he, DeSantis, is simply following a script that his handlers have given him.
Having a disloyal ambitious politician as VP would not be good.
We have seen that play a few times in the past.
I think that ship just sailed, or sank!
Its not like PDJT has an empty bench, when it comes to a potential MAGA VP.
The RINOS don’t have anyone with appeal, even as POTUS OTHER than RDS.
Pence, Pompeo, Halley, Noem, give me a break.
Dems are in even worse shape; they got a literal hairdoo, thats IT.
Oh, and Fetterman, presumably with Avanatti as a VP.
PDJT has a deep bench, and he has been building an awsome team and the bench is getting deep.
So, while both wings of the Uniparty are trying to figure out if they have ANYBODY, our side is looking at “who would be BEST (of many possibles).
please pay attention
I hope and believe that DeSantis is a genuine good guy. However the forces of Darkness will be tempting him with millions of dollars and all kinds of access to power. If he can withstand that, we will definitely need a younger man going forward because we don’t have a bench at the moment. The Democrats would also love to see us destroy each other, remember.
By younger man going forward I mean that Trump will have at most one more term, then we will need a younger standard Bearer.
Coolmamie, this is a serious question. Did you read the article above that Sundance wrote? He explains a lot I never knew and it all makes sense. I hope you do take the time to read it again. If you remember the mantra that was so prevalent here at CTH in 2016, “Let Trump Be Trump” it will all work out.
The MAGA MOVEMENT can see straight through the BS . Trump is like a D9 and will push back hard and expose all those treacherous creeps aligned with the DC club construct that has abandoned main street with prejudice for so long.
LOL…worked at a gold mine for 12+ years….PDJT is more like a D-14 with the big curved blade on the front…….pushes a two-lane road in one pass and 20 tons of dirt in front of the blade
Thank you, Sundance. You put perfectly into words what I’ve been feeling ever since the first shot was fired and people began putting polls up on Twitter such as “Is Trump a millstone around the Republican Party’s neck.”
The beautiful part about all of this is that these “influencers” have now self-identified themselves for the traitors they really are.
Very well stated. Sundance has put razor-sharp truth on all events these past several days.
SD been doing it for years
I agree. And his ballots vs voters post has been in big circulation. I saw Stephen Miller linked to it today on his Twitter.
So Sundance’s message is getting through at some very high levels.
Also, Sundance is getting credit, which isn’t always true. Often they just steal his ideas and pass them off as their own.
But after that post was retweeted by Jack Posobiec and discussed by Steve Bannon on war room, a lot of other conservatives on twitter started doing similar election analysis, which is great because it needed to be discussed.
We definitely have our own MAGA influencer here at the treehouse.

Roger Stone: “If you watch this you can understand @realDonaldTrump’s comments on Governor Desantimonius tonite”
Oh Wow, Ron is like Trump, but he’s so much more!? Is that what she said? Let’s hear that tape again.
😮 😮 😮 This ad is MUST watch.
It is in poor taste and sick!
Using Trump as so many do.
THIS ^^^^^^^^ Had not seen it.
Must see TV- Disantis wraps himself in everything TRUMP and MAGA in this ad.
WOW, DS subsequent lack of loyalty is astounding.
[video src="https://sp.rmbl.ws/s8/2/Q/r/g/J/QrgJg.caa.mp4" /]
That ad is from DeSantis’s first run as governor, correct? Did his campaign run another one like it for the 2022 race?
No, they ran the “On the 8th day, God made RDS” remember?
Yes indeed, and that ad was just as bad if not worse.
Trump envy and Trump traitor all rolled up in one guy, wow!
If DeSantis does run, I see an opportunity for a great political ad to use this against him. Saying something like Ron likes me so much he tries to imitate me but who chooses an imitation, when they can have the original!
Good grief, that ad is beyond terrible. DeSantis needs to stop this before he destroys his career.
I hinestely think MAGA must be ditched.
Whoever runs on that slogan
Instead it should be MALA–MAKE AMERICA LIVEABLE AGAIN
this alludes to:
Failure of the Democrat govt and Biden,
The illegals
Inflation and food and fuel prices
Crime
And persecution of conservatives
I hinestely disagree.
Fyi MAL or MALA == Evil or bad.
So you know that is a Spanish language feminine adjective meaning bad.
Ha-Ha, you must be a marketing genius!
Throw 6 years of hardcore branding out the window to go with a latin tern that means evil… Brilliant—
You’re fired!
Charlotte thought it was so good she posted it twice – on this page and the one before.
You hear “America First” used a lot for policy, “maga” used a lot in campaign aspect.
I’m good with those.
Didn’t Obama rent a daughter with that name?
No her name is Sharia. I mean Malia
Yeah, Malaria…uh, Malia.
I think one of the most important things to stress to anyone who thinks choosing DeSantis over Trump is to ask why the establishment has and still is hell bent on removing Trump from the political arena at any cost. Then remind them if necessary. Emphasize how this says a lot about the entrenched corruption in every aspect of government and correctly translates their ‘hate’ to what it actually is, FEAR!
What sanctimonious crowd fail to remember is that once he is no longer useful they will stab him in the back.
And if they did get Trump out, DeSantis is next. How long would he last, maybe a weekend?
Exactly right. And I think it may be what the GOPe wants so they can insert Mike Pence in for 2024.
I was just thinking about these GOP genius types and how they’ve convinced themselves that
Pence + DeSantis > Trump.
Like they could somehow use those two guys together to get us to give up Trump.
What they don’t remember is that the more they pound him, the more loyal his supporters get.
They’re forging a stronger bond between us.
GACK!
And they want to prevent him from declaring his candidacy because they know that once he does, it will be near impossible to beat him.
That is why they are coordinating their attacks and trying to blame their midterm lameness on him.
it’s not going to work.
This, as Scott Adams would say, is Act 3. The REAL Act 3.
Adams is a nitwit.
Nitwit == Very insightful around persuasion techniques and Trumps masterful use of those techniques?
As best I can tell, the influencers don’t have much insight into human nature nor influence capability. The slights against PT45, no matter how innocuously the barbs are presented, only serve as in indicator to keep an eyebrow raised regarding anything these people put out, instead of accruing anything positive to themselves or their principle. UniParty doesn’t have anyone who can beat PT45 and they never did. Trying to take out our beloved leader, PT45, will only serve to get DeSantis sent to warm the bench for the rest of his short-lived career.
He is being used as a pawn to stop President Trump from running.
DeSantis won his reelection and if he pursues a campaign for president in 2024,
He will have to resign his governorship to run.
According to Jon Mills, a constitutional law professor at the University of Florida.
DeSantis needs to put out a statement and be clear.
….
To whom it may concern,
I promise to serve a full four-year term as your governor.
Yours truly ,
your governor,
Ron DeSantis
…..
Ron DeSantis needs to man up and quit playing games.
George W. Bush did not resign as Texas Governor to run for President in 2000. John Kerry did not resign from the Senate when he ran for President in 2004. U of F just hired little Ben Sasse as their president…would’t take legal advice from those lefty professors!
John McCain and Barack Obama did not resign from the Senate in 2008 nor did George McGovern in 1972.
it is called hedging your bet….lack of confidence is indicated in that cowards move
Oh gawwwd … that means Gavin Newsom will STILL BE governor of CA when he runs against PDJT in 2024. What a nightmare. Will Gavin be allowed to pass out “Free money” … Nationwide as he did here in CA to buy votes? His “Inflation payments” to poor Californians and illegal ballot markers.
Fyi, each state has its own Constitution ie rules. Bush == Texas, Kerry == Massachusetts, DeSanctimonious == Florida.
Professor Mills is obviously not an expert in Florida State Law. There are exceptions to the Resign-to-Run Law in Florida: Persons running for political party offices; Persons serving without salary on an appointed board or authority; Candidates for federal office; Persons seeking the office of President or Vice President.
They weren’t FL governors either.
States may have resign to run laws, but in Florida the law exempts persons running for Federal Office including President and VP.
It’s telling when facts are labelled as “attacks”.
Are you too blind to see that Desantis is double crossing his own MENTOR?
Thick and Thin, huh? I doubt that, because of this outpouring of facts by Trump?
Trump is very disappointed to see someone he pulled up (DeSantis) join the dark side.
Sorry this sorted funny, it was a reply to a poster who claimed to support Trump through thick and thin,
but that this “attack” on Desantis was the last straw.
Yawn-
That comment is straight out of the 2016 handbook for Never Trumpers.
?
About the comment you posted that you said was sorta funny -It is straight out of 2016. “The last straw”stuff.
Sorry. I should have been clearer.
I wrote that it sorted funny-“Not sort of funny”
It did not fall under the post I was responding to, so it was out of context.
If your posting a comment, as a reply to a specific comment, best to address it to the commenter, cause it doesn’t always end up where you put it.
Agree, Dutch, usually do that. I think the post I responded to was deleted.
RDS has turned into Judas! I hope he doesn’t spend his 30 pieces of silver in one place!
Is there a reason Trump chose not to add that Ron takes money, big money from Maga enemies?
Isn’t THAT really what would make pro-American workers question a politicians maga bone fides?
One of Kari’s managers has been on Charlie Kirk’s show three nights in a row on Rumble.
Tonight he was on again w/ Charlie and Benny Johnson and some other guy whose name I don’t know.
One of them joked about the Trump-DeSantis “feud,” probablly Johnson.
Charlie was irritated by such referencs and said something like, “Stop it. We’re here to worry about getting our AZ and Nev teams over the finish line.” He paused then said, “Look, I don’t like Trump calling DeSantis, DeSanctimonious, not at all. I don’t like, and I’ve told him so, but I’ve also given him my word I’m a supporter of his and I AM. I keep my promises.”
Every day I’ve listened to him this week, Charlie says, ” I hate the GOP sooo much.” (This usually occurs when he’s talking about Emmer and McConnell.)
Mind you, I don’t know if he said this w/out knowing about all the other stuff that was said today.
However, the Kari Lake campaign “manager” (or one of them, anyway) said, “You know I really don’t understand all this stuff people are saying bad about Ron. He’s never shown to me anyway that he’s anything people are calling him. I’ve never gotten the feeling, whenever he’s helped us with Turning Point, that he’s in at all with the people he accused of being in with. He’s always helped us out, although he has not committed yet to ______(some Turming Point convention, the name of which I have forgotten, which is coming up, one that will have all kinds of MAGA speakers, Trump included, I believe.) The guy didn’t seem to be offering up any strong defense of RDS as much as he seemed clueless about any goings-on.
I thought to myself, “You’ve been so immersed in campaiging for Kari for two years, and over the last few months, totally buried by it, you probably DON’T know what’s been going on with DeSantis and his little friends who visit or communicate with him.
Anyway, just some info I picked up from Kirk tonight about his pledge to Trump…..
I didn’t know until now, after reading Sundance’s post, that the Benny Johnson I often see re-tweeted by others and the Benny Johnson on Kirk’s panel is the Benny Johnson mentioned by Sundance as a Trump underminer and a DeSantis boy.
Kirk is not what you think…he is in for Kirk.
I actually will admit I do NOT know Kirk well.
If you mean, he wishes to make a living at what he does, I won’t hold that against him, though.
Making a living, and being an opportunist are not the same.
At the Arizona Save America MAGA Rally-Kari Lake said her own people were trying to get her to go over to the dark side. She said she is with President Trump 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙🇺🇸
I heard that and I respect the hell out of her for that.
TL to your opening question: Trump understands the importance of leaving some metaphorical bullets in his gun.
Good response. Believe it or not, I actually wondered if that were the case, but tossed it when I conclude it’s the single most important, most revealing aspect of one’s political leanings and intentions.
Still, that could be his reason.
Or in other terms- The fight is just begun, he’s holding back his knockout punch for round two or three!
That guy was Tyler Bowler, the AZ RNC head. Tyler thinks that DeSantis would not be “allowed” to hang around with turning point people if he was truly GOPe. I didn’t think Tyler got the point that maybe DeSantis is using that conservatives younger people to put a wedge between them and Trump. Nobody at the table suggested that.
I just finished listening to Benny Johnson’s podcast from 11/10/22. He is a fierce supporter of President Trump but also knows DeSantis. I do not believe he would abandon Trump in 2024 to go with DeSantis, at least not at this time do I think it.
Personally, I’m using this time period to record the previously covert Establishment CONservative media influencers who are now openly hyping DeSanctimonious. I’m also noting which narratives they’re using so I can create effective counters.
This so reminds me of 2015.
President Donald J.Trump is the lone representative for we the people.
He’s the first and only president that I can remember, run for the highest office in the land so he can work for our betterment and to preserve our liberties.
This is why I’m a MAGA supporter. How could someone not be once he or she understands the perils we all are facing.
I want a daily dose of maga mean tweets. I love it when it sends democrats into a frenzy….fjb
Trump posts every day on Truth Social. I enjoy his “mean tweets”. I never thought they were mean. Just the TRUTH!
Truth = Mean.
MAGA = Threat to Democracy.
Speech from MAGA = Violence.
Violence from the left = Speech.
Men = Women.
Abortion = Health care.
Children too young to smoke = Children young enough to have a sex change operation.
Plain, simple, and to the point, Sundance. Too many Treepers want Trump to play nice. The country is in the balance right now and we can’t have a pretender willing to be led and fed by globalists, walk into the WH. If Desantis had honor and integrity, he’d state today he’s all in on backing Trump in a 2024 run and “if Mr. Trump asks me to be his running mate, I’d carefully consider it”. That’s all.
I agree with your conclusion, but I don’t want Trump to play nice. I want him to play to win.
Excellent comment. Trump has been through unbelievable fire from the day he came down the escalator with Melania. Pretty much ANY other Republican that I can think of off-hand would have wilted under the pressure. Trump did not. It is why I believe he is destined by God to get America on the right track again.
Marc,
If RDS were to make a statement, clarifying his intention to serve his full term as Governor (which is how he should word it) no way he should mention the VP slot.
Sounds likr he is asking without asking.
Sundance tweet ..
Amen
REally sound point.
Remember the 2016 cry of ‘Only Trump’? It still applies in 2022.
sundance–“This is a fight for the future of the Republican party.”
That is true but the fight is much larger than that IMO. The future of the USA is at stake and an internecine bloodbath in the shady GOP is not an ideal outcome. The Walker race in Georgia should have been the priority. The 2024 election is 2 years away so it might have been wiser for PT to have held off his full bombardment until Walker “wins.”
I suspect Trump fell into the DeSantis Inc. trap by being the 1st to respond angrily and directly to his opponent. DS’s courted influencers and Billionaire donors deviously started the attacks on PT not DeSantis. Most Americans will only read PT’s angry message (like they did his tweets) and never fully learn why he attacked DS that is still celebrating a big win.
Trump, the citizen, is at a great disadvantage because he is not in office like DS. He can grandstand his continued accomplishments at the public podium while PT golfs at MAL or sends out another angry message about the harsh reality of politics. It is disgusting how ungrateful DS supporters are despite all that Trump did to save the GOP, win a great victory and take all the incoming shots to improve America. The GOP is not a friendly church social.
“Save America messages” are not going to be equally effective against DeSantis’ braggadocio Governor podium and all the personal attacks by his courted influencers etc. PT attacked Fox again, so he will continue to shrink his media options while DS’ grow exponentially. I believe this was one well planned setup. Where are Trump’s paid campaign spokespeople?
The fatigue that has built up in many Americans from all the past political battles, will not be recharged by another personal battle for a political position 2 years away. I had hoped both sides would put the USA first and not put it through another vicious and tiring competition that would leave more GOP ruins and bitterness.
If this battle continues to escalate, there will not be a friendly handshake and a reunification between the 2 sides in 2024. The Dems will be the winners.
To believe that DeSantist is unaware of comments by his inner staff and financial providers is not believable.
It would force a person to acknowledge that just like Trump a candidate or office holder does bear total responsibility for ever action or comment of team members.
. You know like the same people around Ron who are always faulting Trump not picking better members of his team.
Why does DeSantis get a pass and not Trump?
There can be NO “reconsiliation” between the two sides, because one side has NO interest in reconciling.
The GOPe wing wants Trump gone; OFF the stage for good.
Since the escalator, DJT has been a missile aimed straight at the GOPe.
It is an existential battle, which means only one walks away from the battlefield; a literal fight to the death.
Its NOT about R vs D, Its about MAGA vs Uniparty, and that means attacking the Uniparty where its vulnerable, and that is the GOPe wing.
1000 upvotes.
It’s not just those people and media mentioned in the article. Generally harmless media outlets like pjMedia and Instapundit are full steam ahead for DeSantis (and also war mongering the Ukraine war). There are a bunch of unimportant bloggers like Don Surber that are jumping ship.
Some of those dummies are actually calling DeSantis MAGA for god’s sake! Get rid of the mean MAGA and vote the nice MAGA.
I think there is a bit of an echo chamber in the conservative media.
Very cliquish and competitive. Many of them want each other’s approval, and jump on the bandwagon to be part of whatever the latest thing is.
Twitter, although fun to read, is not the real world of constituents and voters.
The PJMedia guys were never Trumpers in the beginning as well. daily wire and Breitbart too.
My major problem with DeSantis is how he never did anything about the MAL raid. He’s blocked the Fed’s from FL in other ways- but never blocked the raid…..
This!!!!
Taking this a step further…for a private citizen…Florida’s most prominent private citizen…
Sure, he blocked the feds at election time…that was easy…he had FL election law on his side one law. And one agency, DOJ.
Reverse the situation…does anyone think for one minute, that there would be a hesitancy to prevent that from happening to other private citizens? Citizens without the money to file lawsuits or have the protections of ‘corporate’ law and an army of lawyers?
Consider this: In the courtroom during a trial…if a witness, defendant or other such person in the trial, is branded “a liar”, the mantra “once a liar, always a liar” sticks like glue. There is no repairing that label.
Does anyone think for a minute…that the situation could face the average citizen?
Think people…and remember that it took several hours for a lily livered weak twit about the raid. The man has no backbone.
“Their” trillions are at stake.
When people tell you who they are, believe them.
That one.
How does one block an FBI raid?
Bare knuckle brawl. I’m in.
I keep seeing Ron trying to recruit Charlie Kirk. Everywhere is go there would be someone asking him if he support Trump or Ron. I guess that Ron people trying to pressure him. Charlie support Trump btw.
when i listened to kirk podcast, i find him very sanctimonious. Never heard of him until PDJT gave him a boost. Let us see if he will just be another back stabber.
He’s religious.
And? His analyses of Az and Nev races has been spot on.
Beyond that, I haven’t heard him be anything but MAGA.
He regularly denigrates McConnell Inc.
So despite cactus’s vague comments about Kirk and Rove, backstabbing Trump (?) I have no reason to doubt his authenticity, yet.
Oh, pray to tell.
being religious never stopped someone from………name it!
I would also be surprised if Charlie Kirk is going against Trump. Steve Bannon has him on his show a lot, and surely Bannon isn’t going against Trump., or supporting anyone else who is against Trump.
Thank you, Sundance!
I am so happy you wrote this, as I have been explaining it forever.
It would always go back to us deplorables. We are the base. We are the movement.
Look, whether Trump is right or not seems to be irrelevant at this point. The more he attacks /whines like this, the more he turns everyone off. And as much as it pains me to say, there are many people who will never vote for the guy, despite agreeing with his policies, because of his personality.
Being right is noble. But being right isn’t enough. These big political offices are personality contests. Some of us like the fighter in 45, but he’s turning people off by the droves.
I also can’t help but think that Trump himself would be calling someone a loser who constantly complains like he does after not achieving what he wanted.
I want the guy to take on the world. We need that fighter. I also want vengeance and retribution on the DC swamp delivered like Thor’s hammer.
But he can’t do it with this messaging anymore. He’s not going to win a damn thing if he doesn’t stop sounding so petty and desperate.
What he is doing isn’t petty. RDS and his people are orchestrating a smear campaign against PDJT to decapitate him befor he can even announce his candidacy.
does it not concern you that RDS who has more to be grateful for to PDJT than even I knew is willing to stand by and watch his surrogates try to destroy the MAGA movement?
Did Ron DeSantis’ inaction after the Mar-a-Lago raid seem like the behavior of a
“fighter” to you?
Do you like seeing “fighters” like Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush and Karl Rove cozy up to Ron DeSantis?
Trump is getting out ahead of something that will eventually reach critical mass: Ron DeSantis has been co-opted. He is bought and paid for. Donald Trump is not.
Two years is a long time in political popularity contests. A lot can happen. And a lot can be orchestrated to bring about desired opinions.
The marketing campaigns are only getting started.
Your posting sounds “petty” to me
That hilarious.
Trump needs to bring people along to understand what he’s trying to communicate.
With rants like the one against DeSantis, he’s telling the punchline without first telling the joke. If you’re not in-the-know, it sounds unhinged.
The average voter doesn’t like unhinged.
And you’re never going to win if you lose the average voter.
It’s amazing to me how anyone can think his message was effective.
I am NOT saying he shouldn’t fight for what is right.
I AM saying that he’s garbage at getting his point across.
That’s awesome.
Thank you jeb (flaccid exclamation point here), for that great advice.
You are awesome sauce !
Here’s a “Truth” posted on truth social today that encapsulates, in a video, exactly what DeSanctimonous took from 45 to win in 2018

That’s great! I forgot about that DeSantis Ad.
This may have been noted already, but…I read that DeSantis was just endorsed by the Lincoln Project.
Seriously? Or is this a bad joke by the Onion? Endorsed by Rick Wilson and George Conway?
If true, there isn’t enough air freshener in the world to get rid of that stink.
If only we had some media to ask DeSantis if he disavows the Lincoln Project endorsement and rejects any association with such perverts.
DeSantis was happy to robocall for Joe O’Dea, the GOP candidate for US Senator from Colorado. O’Dea happily told voters he was PRO-abortion. Did DeSantis know this ahead of time or just blindly do what the UniParty GOP told him to do. O’Dea lost with less than 43% of the vote as conservatives refused to support him for that reason (and others).
at this point it doesn’t matter
DeSantis is RINO
You really have to wonder when the likes of Jeb, Christie, Haley, Ryan, and others are joined with the Lincoln Pedophile Project in support for DeSantis. Makes me wonder if they want him destroyed just like they want to do to President Trump.
Now that is rich!
https://aim4truth.org/2022/06/17/cat-report-724/
I did not like reading this—but reminds me of how OBAMA. Came out of nowhere!
Ugh WOW . DeSantis is sure not who he seems to be. Everyone needs to see this. But they won’t take the time.
I don’t “do” Twitter.
Nevertheless, I did see a screenshot of a tweet by Suburban Black Man, 7:33 pm, November 10, which read as follows…
“BREAKING: The Lincoln Project officially endorses Ron DeSantis for 2024.”
That one pretty much speaks for what is going on. Just in case there was any doubt left about the malignant forces now at work here. Not a group whose purposeful endorsement I’d be keen to have were I DeSantis.
Just a bunch of grifters and groomers.
