The National Energy Assistance Directors Association (NEADA) is estimating it will cost Wisconsin residents more than $1,200 to heat an average home this winter, an increase of more than 17% compared to last winter. [Data Link Here]
Roughly 50% of Wisconsin residents use natural gas for home heating. Natural Gas heating costs are increasing 34% this year (vs last winter, 2021). That’s also a 66.1% increase over the winter of 2020.

Thanks Democrats!
Thanks Republicans. They stoodby and allowed the coup.
Those RINOs are basically acting like Democrats, so…
McConnell calls Democrat Kyrsten Sinema ‘the most effective first-term senator I’ve seen in my time in the Senate”. “She is today what we have too few of in the Democratic Party, a genuine, moderate, and a dealmaker,” McConnell said. Sinema is a far left Democrat who has a 5% Liberty Score(F) rating. Meanwhile, McConnell pulls funding away from MAGA candidates in his own party. This man has to go!
Not really. Enough Republicans on the House and Senate sides had organized and were already making their speeches in opposition to the canvassed election results when the craziness on J6 interrupted the process.
The iegislators were following the constitutional process. They were going to insist that the states in question would have ten days to reconsider the irregularities discovered or suspected in the conduct of their elections. The states would then notify congress of which slate of electors — the Republican electors or the Democrat electors — those states had designated to be counted.
That was destroyed when the glass started breaking.
Only because they ALLOWED that fake attack to deflect them from the coarse they were pursueing.
So, the “Insurrectionist” attack on the Capital, had the net effect of PREVENTING Republicans from haveing State legislatures reconsider electors, and possibly declare PDJT the winner.
But again, only because Republicans caved,…or were “in on it”.
I personally think McConnell had advanced knowledge.
‘Member when the Michigan State Rep RINO was hot miked saying nancy and McConnell wanted the “biggest mess possible” on j6? That was AWESOME!
The break was a shame but, if all you say is true why did they not go forward. I suppose if Jan.6th didn’t happen and one of the key Republicans were arrested or died they just scrap the whole process anyway? Nice try.
People inside thought they were under attack. MTG said so. Ted Cruz said so too on the senate side. He found live coverage from MSNBC on his phone. MSNBC said the capitol was under attack. They lost their support. There were not going to be enough votes.
That was the play here, the conspirators, namely Pelosi and McConnell; wanted the CHALLENGE to the elections results disrupted.
No, they didn’t stand by – McConnell has been a key enabler of all of Biden’s reckless spending and green agenda.
Thanks
RepublicansRINOs aka GOPe aka GlobalMarxist Traitors. There, fixed it for ya.
There is a handful of decent Republicans and there will be a good number more starting in 2023.
It’s a long march for our side this time. But I really dislike painting all with the same broad brush, especially when we are fighting so hard to give the few fighters we will have some power this time around.
Thanks CAPUC

Elections have consequences. Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.
The democrats are SO SCREWED in the midterm elections. And they deserve everything that they get.
Screwed if the GOPricks don’t effect the largest ever plan to lose game. They should easily get big gains in House and should get close to super majority in Senate…….if they wanted to. They don’t want to as we would expect results.
It would not surprise me if those like Graham, Thune and others below McConnell agree with losing.
Currently all are considered “leaders” by the media and GOPe. Adding several more Senators and giving them a majority waters down whatever influence they have currently.
None of them give a damn about their constituents.
Thats now “never-seen-a-woman-naked Graham”, for now on, at least for me.
I really do not CARE which party has the Majority, as it only makes a difference in the optics of the kibuki theater.
My interest is in MAGA candidates. I believe our coalition in the House will GROW, and we WILL get at least 1-2 MAGA Senators, a refreshing first.
I also think theres a 50/50 chance Mitch retires, within 2 years, but if Thune takes his place, its “same old wine, brand new bottle”.
“NSAWNG” is genius.
Thune has been groomed by Cocaine Mitch to be his heir.
You’re assuming we have legit elections , we don’t . Dem’s already have the steal ready to go .
Not a legitimate news source.
ABC? lol
Tell that to the numerous people here in this forum who refuse to vote for their Republican candidates thus helping the Dems keep their majorities.
MAGA yes. Uniparty no. It’s that simple.
In the primaries yes, but Pelosi, Schumer are not better than Rinos.
Mitch McConnel is a snake, but Roe is overturned in part due to McConnell and Collins, Romney, Murkowski being Republicans albeit Rinos. In the general election there is choice between two people. A vote is not an endorsement.
Always pick Saruman over Sauron.
“Always pick Saruman over Sauron”,…are you CRAZY?
Read the trilogy, multiple times, watched the movies as well.
To use THAT to support your argument that we should continue to vote for the likes of Liz, Mitt, Mitch and never-seen-a-woman-naked Lindsey, …IS appropriate as it is an ignorant justification for an ignorant argument.
Choose the R over the D, cause the D is ginna slit yer throat, whereas the R is going to stab you in the back, and right thru the heart.
There is no justification in voting for a democrat, ever.
On one level I agree with you, but I vote who I want in the primary. Then in the general I vote for the most conservative that can win.
I’m in PA I have a choice between Fetterman and Oz. Fetterman is way left of Bernie Sanders. Oz was not my first pick, but he’d be replacing an even bigger RINO Toomey.
I hate voting for the less bad candidate… but I’ve only voted for a candidate I really wanted a handful of times.
The great thing about the growing MAGA movement is that I had the pleasure of voting for 2 candidates whom I really respect and want to win. 1 of them – Geoff Diehl – smoked the RINO by 11 points (the other had no primary oppo so for her we need to work in the general).
And this happened in Massachusetts.
You last sentence says it all.
Right thru the heart. . .
Good & hard. Just like they like it.
The government workers, NEA, AFT, College & University teachers & staff, SEIU, welfare crowd, crooked unions, health care industry dependent on Federal $$, and gullible people scared by Democrat media lies vote Democrat. That is about half the country.
Oh please.
Anybody who thinks the evildoers are “about half” of the electorate is being gaslit by Pravda media – step away… find the real sources.
Our country has been hijacked by a criminal enterprise.
I ‘ll cherish the day when those smug smiles are wiped off their faces as justice is served.
Jordan Peterson calls them the ideologically possessed.
It’s a good thing it doesn’t get cold in Wisconsin.
It’s a good thing it doesn’t get cold in the EU, especially Germany. /sarc
It’s going to be much higher than 35%.
Sucker!
Lots of wood in Wisconsin.
And they ice fish there, have iceboats, and plenty of alcohol.
Wait until the household ban on wood burning and enforcement by local police.
It’s already cold. The low tomorrow night will be 28°
Sorry to hear. blueMA is getting a little colder a little earlier than last year too – not comparable in numbers to you, but in trend…
The Biden admin, and the greenies, will use these higher prices to promote more ‘green’ energy. Unfortunately most people are not smart enough to understand the scam. I believe our Father in heaven provided fossil fuels to energize the world. 120 years ago 90% of the world lived in abject poverty. Today, that number is 10% . The wealth created by the use of fossil fuels is undeniable. By every metric the world’s population is better off because of fossil fuels. Unless the ‘greenies’ embrace nuclear they are not serious about providing affordable, renewable energy. Of course, we know their agenda is to kill energy and economies around the world. They are communists.
Most people are smart enough, because the green scam is so obvious when you take any sort of look at it. They just don’t have the right information.
We need to make it our mission to spread it.
The Green Scam is plainly explained.

News released just in time for the midterms. We had MA release even worse news last week, not that it matters much in that state. But in the battleground states, let’s get more news releases like this over the next few weeks.
PDJT’s endorsements in WI:
Ron Johnson for Senate
Derrick Van Orden for Congress
Tim Michels for Governor
This is the sort of thing that will propel them to victory.
I’d like to think President Trump would have endorsed Tom Tiffany for Congress. Whether PDJT endorsed Rep. Tiffany or not, I endorse Rep. Tiffany for re-election in the 7th Congressional District of Wisconsin.
Tiffany ran away with it. He doesn’t even need a Trump endorsement.
Agreed. Tom is a straight shooter.
Two things the government is certain of…
You’ll pay it and you’ll do nothing but vote with the false belief you’re doing something.
Stop being predictable.
Very few here are doing “nothing but” voting.
SE Wisconsin has We energy. A company that has both gas and electricity, they charge for both, a monopoly.
A monopoly is exactly right.
Hubby and I moved into our house seven years ago. At that time we put our names on the electric bill and paid it every month.
Two weeks ago we got a letter in the mail from our electric “co-op.”
“Co-op” never sits well with me, it always reminds me of socialist hogwash, and this letter confirmed those thoughts.
The letter said the co-op never got our “application to become a member,” and they included the member form that they required one of us to sign if we wanted to continue to use their services.
Required us to sign if we wanted to purchase their electricity — the only electricity available through the line up here in socialist Minnesota.
The form they wanted us to sign said that if we became members we could not buy our electricity from anywhere else, including personal solar or wind. It said that if we stopped using their electricity (once we became their indentured piggy banks) we would still have to pay them for the power we used, even though we were not getting it from them.
The form was two pages long of big brother take-over rules, none of which we want to take any part in.
So, I’ve been waiting for our electricity to be shut-off, and wondering how things will be with us going dark before everyone else.
I’ll keep you updated — or if I go missing, you’ll know why!
Yikes. Do you have a mayor with a brain attached? I would be calling every idiotic member of the town council to figure what to do about this?
I made the mistake of using local attorneys when my late mom had legal issues in northern Minnesota, and likewise Raven will find her local officials are in bed with the co-op. In a normal state one could then reach out to the attorney general, but Minnesota is not normal.
We had a mayor with a brain attached, but after he publicly announced his support for President Trump in 2020 the socialists in town went crazy. It took them almost two years to do it, but they finally kicked him out of office via recall in August. We saw up close how evil the leftists can be, and understood just a little better the pressure President Trump is under — all the time.
Soon we will have a socialist mayor who has a brain, but it doesn’t work.
Most of our council members are leftists, and if they aren’t they’re too scared to say they aren’t.
Lake Country Power?
Yeap. And of course their propaganda “agreement” isn’t on their website, although a lot of other puke worthy stuff is.
Are you from Minnesota, Dan? Are you a “member” of that co-op?
Same in the Hudson Valley NY.
Two years ago this country produced more energy that any other country.
What happened?
Stolen election.
Well, the USA is sending huge amounts of LNG to the EU so prices here have to increase.
But not only here, countries within the EU whose gas NEVER CAME from Russia, and still doesn’t, are being screwed as well, because part of their gas HAS to go to Germany. So EU citizens of countries way poorer than Germany are being plummeted by insane energy costs.
Never mind that one of the reasons for Germany being the industrial giant of the EU was because of the CHEAP Russian gas they were importing.
Wisconsin residents should be grateful that 40+% of their electricity comes from coal fired plants. Of course the residents of Madison would never believe that, or admit it anyway.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_power_stations_in_Wisconsin
Oh but they have big plans:
https://billd.csgmidwest.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2022/08/Tulloh-MISO-energy-29-Aug-Mon.pdf
It makes my back hurt thinking about the cold.
Mine went from $.42 a therm to $.91.
Chanting during upcoming fall College football games: “no way … we won’t pay”.
Thank you Lord. We have our own gas wells.
Great idea, where’s that..?
This is really gonna hurt Wisconsinites.
It’s regularly below zero up there, especially w/ the wind coming off the Great Lakes.
<It’s regularly below zero up there…>
The frozen tundra in Green Bay 🙂
Just brutal.
Even down around Milwaukee. Brutal cold winters.
Hey Biden. You fail.
I have a brother who lives in Wisconsin and he’s a real Demo-Commie which never ceases to amaze me because his lifestyle is what I would call conservative prepper.
He and his wife have a small farm and they work very hard including home schooling their kids.
I wonder how they will feel about this. Lucky for them they use wood in addition to gas.
I am dying to know their thoughts! Will they just shrug it off because THEY will be less impacted?
I just posted that I have not seen any announcement about price increases in NY, probably due to Hochul’s bad internal polling. Have you heard anything, Seneca?
They WILL shrug it off, because it doesn’t effect them w/ their woodstove.
That’s what Dems do.
As far as NY- few people realize that the Demo Commie scum who rule this benighted state passed our own version of the Green New Deal back in 2019.
It is in fact much worse than California and what’s being done on the federal level.
So our prices have been steadily going up for ALL forms of energy since the Bidenistas took over.
My heating oil went from an all time low of $1.25 a gal. to an all time high of over $5 a gal. this past year.
Right now it’s near $4 a gal.
Killer Cuomo singlehandedly took out 25% of Downstates electrical when he shut down Indian Point nuclear plant.
Our entire electrical grid is being threatened by these green energy fascists.
I put in wood stoves during the last propane price spike. I think it was 2014 or there abouts. I wrote a story about it that was published here. We struggled that winter, being behind the 8 ball and everything. We hauled logs out of the swamp on tobbogans.
This time, I’m 2 years ahead on firewood. With another year or so on the ground that needs to be split and stacked. It’s a good feeling.
Congratulations!
So happy to see you posting Seneca. Been wondering where you were. Sending hugs from NE NC.
Thanks very much for your kind words! I am still commenting, not as much because I am super busy working to get Lee Zeldin and his ticket elected.
If we don’t get rid of the witch Hochul, New York will be even more unlivable than it is now.
Sad thing is- we are getting very little assistance from the NYS GOP and the RNC.
If there is no Red Wave- BLAME THE REPUBLICRATS.
We have no mainstream reports of any fuel increase announcements in NY yet of which I am aware.
Most likely this is because Kathy Hochul is desperately fighting Lee Zeldon for Governor. Her internal polling numbers must stink. Alas, no announcements reported.
When the DementoRats are lame ducks in the time between Nov 9th and January, brace yourselves for a last tantrum of epic proportions.
Extinction burst.
On the bright side… The far left is going to get a MAGA sized red pill to swallow on socialism/communism et al via this winters heating bill in addition to higher prices on everything else.
and if that don’t do it their eviction notices will.
It’s only going to happen if people vote for their Republican candidates.
They will just blame it on those ” greedy corporations ” . Most all of them are completely oblivious to the fact that its the Biden admin policies causing this mess we are in.
Ask me how much I care about far-left TDsers in the populace who will be cold this winter.
I’m just glad they are a rapidly shrinking minority.
Quelle surprise! Why would anyone think the Globalist plan is anything other than turning the screws and making the suffering unbearable. They’re not afraid of voter backlash; they’ve got that covered. They’re flaunting their contempt for sovereign states and Western values — rubbing our noses in it, so to speak. What’s the point of parsing their every move as if it’s something we can negotiate, especially when every new move is an even more degrading, in-your-face insult to everything we hold dear.
Just a quick reminder that one of the major causes of the natural gas price hikes is the shipping of gas to Europe thanks to the war the elites are desperate to fight in Ukraine.
A war the Republicans all wanted and voted to help pay for.
This will not end in November. Or January. Too many people getting rich off the bribes and kickbacks.
It will not end in November, but if the GOP can get the House and Senate majorities at least it’s a step in the right direction. And another step was already taken prior, removing some notable RINOs from their seats. 🙂
It certainly won’t end – it can’t – and yes, we have to plan for longterm (political) battle.
But we will gain another step forward.
is next.
I’m in northern Illinois so just below Wisconsin. We’ve had a cool year so far in this north central region, and the start of Fall is no exception, the daytime highs this week are more than 10 degrees below average. I already had to run the furnace for two mornings to bring my house temp up to 64. Tonight’s low will be 40, which means I’ll be running the furnace tomorrow morning too. If we keep up this trend it’s going to be a colder than average Winter and the heating bills are going to be miserable.
If we don’t win the House and Senate majorities this November there’s no hope for the future. This should be the easiest year for us to cause a massive shift of power.
The cost of natural gas in northern Illinois has more than doubled since last September when it cost 53-cents per therm. The cost per therm stands at $1.24 as fall and winter weather approaches.
https://www.rrstar.com/story/news/2022/09/22/hundreds-in-rockford-area-seek-help-with-energy-bills/69497564007/
I pity Rockford. It has had a Democrat Mayor for the past 50 years. Its Council is Democrat majority. The crime rate is higher than 95.4% of American cities. There are 4.3 crimes per 100 people. Ranked 17th most dangerous city in the USA. Half of the top ten employers are government entities or hospitals dependent on federal $$$. The largest Rockford employer listed by Wikipedia (Fiat Chrysler)doesn’t even have a plant in Rockford. The school system was taken over by the feds for a decade and destroyed. The population has been dropping for the past decade; over 16,000 whites have left dropping the percentage of whites below 50%.
My comment isn’t about Rockford, it’s about the increase in utility prices. I don’t live in Rockford, btw.
I live in Illinois and have Nicor for gas. On their bills they print what your
bill was the previous year for the specific month, the amounts side by side.
Last winter my bill doubled.
I wonder what it will do this year?
I am two hours south of you..yes, a major increase. And NICOR is a mess with their electronic billing.
Not disputing that a price increase is coming but didn’t see in the document picture, or the source link with more data tables following, that it is specifically addressing Wisconsin. Perhaps a reference in the text used just as example, where could’ve used Michigan as well. Electricity went up a bit this year in terms of how many pennies per kwh; pretty mild summer.
I heated with oil for more than the 1st decade of home ownership. Under Barack Hussein Obama’s reign I replaced that oil furnace when the cost of filling my 200 gallon oil tank exceeded $1K. I recouped the cost of a natural gas furnace in 1 winter.
Even a 34% increase in natural gas doesn’t cost as much as oil did then or every year since then.
I feel awful for people who don’t have the budget for this crisis but at least they cannot be shut off & there are grants available.
While FJB sends our natural gas to the Ukraine and Germany which has the effect of raising prices here. Punish every Democrat every d@mn one. Start with Joe Manchin the oily pr@ck. Punish them with extreme prejudice. They truly hate you.
Come on. Blockhead Joe got a promise from Schumer. He has tools, remember. Leverage, so they can’t lie to him.
the powers that be attitudes are, ” too bad peasants, what are going to do about it ? ! nothing “
This is news?
That’s right. They don’t care. Be cold and eat bugs, use 2 drops of water to wash your laundry, and be forced to buy a new EV even though your gas-powered vehicle is perfectly fine.
I’m in Northern Wisconsin and the furnace is already on this week. I’m super pissed at Putin right now! /s
I’m in northern Wisconsin too and our furnace is up and running too. 2 years ago, the price of propane was around $1.29-$1.50 from October 2020 to March 2021. This year the price of prebuy propane is $1.94 a gallon and a regular fill up price is $1.84 a gallon.
Well, he gave Snowden citizenship, more than one way to “FJB”….
That’s way better than here in southern OK. While our 2020-21 prices were well below $2, last week’s fill up was $2.40 gal. September is usually the lowest price of the year, but not this year. It was $2.27 in July. We will make it through the winter on our one tank, but I fear what prices will be next year.
Live in northern Minnesota just off Lake Superior. We usually don’t turn our furnace on until the end of October, purposely wanting to live as cold as we can for as long as we can.
My one comfort in the cold is a small electric heater in a small bathroom. I don’t mind wearing 8 layers to stay warm, I just don’t like getting dressed in the cold.
Where does it say anything specifically about Wisconsin?
In the first line of the paragraph above.
I already know mine increased over 100%. Last year I locked into a rate of 34 cents per therm and this year O locked into 79 cents per therm and was grateful to get it as other companies were offering 99 cents per therm.
Started looking for firewood in August. Almost nobody splits firewood any more for sale. Found one source who said to call back this week. Hope, hope. Meanwhile I’ve gotten my chimney cleaned and lined and will be re-lining the fireplace insert with refractory brick and replacing the gasket. Have learned what to do, but the problem is that the mortar and fireplace caulk have to be heat cured, so will have to wait to do the work until I get some wood.
That’s the great thing about life. In the midst of concern about rising prices, open borders, crime, whether my 12 year old car will last a few more years, and the totalitarian megalomaniacs running this country, I’m sitting here getting to learn all kinds of new things like the difference between K-23 and K-26 firebrick, gauges of stainless steel, inverter generators, transfer switches, and the fire rating of vinyl vs plastic.
If you do not have to depend on having firewood delivered, here are a few thoughts.
You might try contacting your cable, phone, or electric company to find out who cuts tree limbs away from overhead lines. It is a long shot, but you may be able to get a lead or two on a source for wood. I say that because somebody who (I think) works for the power company lives several blocks away. I’ve seen a power company bucket truck at that house. The man who lives there has a log splitter and has built a goodly collection of split wood. I bet he intends to sell some of his wood this winter.
Another possible source for wood you might try would be businesses that receive products on pallets. After a hailstorm that created a flurry of roofing work in my neighborhood, I was able to collect a few dozen pallets from the roofing companies. A man who runs a fuel business that sells DEF, lubricants, hydraulic fluids, etc. directly out of his small warehouse also gave me a few dozen pallets. He said that he is happy to give them away even for firewood. If you can get a glimpse of the trash areas behind or beside some businesses, there may be broken pallets there that the manager wil let you haul away. The pallets I have are made from untreated rough lumber.
If you haven’t already checked craigslist, go there. People who sell firewood probably want to avail themselves of free advertising. You might find someone who delivers.
Great ideas, Sherri. Thank you for your thoughtful post. I do know someone who works for a power company and if this possible source doesn’t work out, I will try him. I even thought about the fact I have a huge stump of a cherry tree that was cut down a while ago and see if I could get someone to hack it down and split it.
I just found out that Tractor Supply sells bundles of firewood for fire-pits, etc. It would be too expensive to count on for any long term heat, but if worse gets to worst, I could buy enough to cure the mortar.
If I am not mistaken, here in IL, comcast and ComEd have their own or contracted chippers…those branches don’t even hit the ground…
IL, over taxed and over regulated.
Here’s another idea- I live near a big state park in NY and they frequently allow people to come in and take out the dead trees and limbs that are on the ground. Not sure what kind of permit, if any, is required but I often see guys in pickup trucks taking out the dead branches and even cutting up trees that have fallen.
How sad is it that people will now be driven to doing that because they can’t afford their normal fuel. Instead of it being a choice. It’s so sickening. What year is this and what country do we live in?
It is sad thinking about what people are driven to do when things get bad.
At lunch today my hubby mentioned a story he heard about gardens being of little value if people don’t have protein. We remembered how all the pets disappeared in Venezuela after their economy/country fell, as did all the zoo animals.
The story also said when thousands of people hunt wildlife to feed their families that the wildlife population will die off.
We’ve decided we are going to start raising rabbits. I don’t like the idea of killing and eating cute little bunnies, but after realizing I’d kill and eat my two big cats, I’ll dispatch the rabbits no problem.
I want to be clear before I start my comment that I have nothing against people who like (meaning having a choice) to use a wood-burning fireplace. But when you are forced to look at it as a heating alternative, in the U.S., in 2022 … it’s insane. Our quality of life in this country has plummeted. Our parents had better lives than we did.
I’m in Florida and I am going to add solar. The price with the credits is too good to pass up. My bill with FPL including financing the system at 1.49% is only $140 per month. Rates are going up every year.
What’s the break even time for that? I know it’s an extra expense to buy the panels and have them installed, when do you start to see an actual cost savings?
Biden is exporting our fuel overseas while blocking access to our own resources. The plan is to starve, freeze and paralyze us. And when I point the finger at Biden, I am referring to the puppeteers behind the Big Guy, but still hold him accountable.
Idaho nat gas went up 25% last month.
I’m not in Wisconsin but, I have 12 cords of firewood cut, split and stacked (now that I’m retired with nothing to do)… enough for 3 winters. I have a propane heater and some electric baseboards, never used the propane heater last winter and don’t plan to this winter. The wife likes it at 80F in her kitchen when it is -20 below outside.
Anyway, there is something deeply alluring … primal even, about all this prepping and learning new ways to cut costs, live within means and still live comfortably. It’s adapt or suffer.
Fantastic job on the firewood. I am envious. I agree that there is something deeply satisfying about learning and planning how to survive well for another year in very uncertain times. Like those in our past history had to consider and plan.
What can one expect from a bunch of voting “cheeseheads”? They reap what they have sown.
A bunch of voting “cheeseheads” voted for Donald Trump but the theives stole the election from us. We didn’t sow the steal in 2020 that gave us the installed pResident Joe Biden. We have reaped the whirlwind because our country has turned its’ back on God.
“We have reaped the whirlwind because our country has turned its’ back on God.”
This, above all else.
In Wisconsin the effective residential gas rate has doubled since September 2021.

Elections have consequences, Rigged elections have huge live changing consequences.
He has a very thick plank in his eYe. Resume operating the energy rich pipelines, restart our nuclear plant….idiots (!!!!) nuclear is the cleanest energy to used. What is wrong with these people?
Propane prepay price in summer 2020 was $1.16 per gallon and it was $2.09 per gallon in summer 2022. Where do they get this fuzzy math?
Keep voting democrat.
They should consider themselves ‘lucky’ in comparison to the energy rate rises that are happening in the EU.
Loving my fireplace more every year. Screw em!
The numbers are going to be much higher for some. Also that is going on prices today. Heating oil doesn’t stay constant through the heating season it usually only goes up.
Right now I’m doing a balancing act. When do I do my oil tank fill? Prices are still dropping. If I’d filled in August the price has dropped a lot since then.
While a 34% hike is huge, we in MA are facing a 64% hike starting November 1st.
I know allot of people will be laughing saying liberals are only getting what they voted for, but allot of us voted for President Trump TWICE.
It’s getting really bad…and getting REALLY WORSE !
Yep.
And so interesting how The Powers That Be timed our spike to make sure residents didn’t see it until after the election.
I suspect they know perfectly well that nationally the DementoRats will be trounced, and are preparing their next Pravda message that our victory is to blame for high prices.
In fact – their internal numbers may be telling them that Geoff is going to be our new Governor… Their worst nightmare!
I live in New York. We are doomed. Especially if Hochul wins. I’m starting to miss Cuomo and I can’t stand him. 😒
I’m in Illinois, kind of in the same boat. We have a MAGA guy running for Governor against Dem Fatboy Pritzker, the MAGA guy would be perfectly competent, he’s currently a state legislator, but because he’s MAGA he’s not getting the proper support from the Illinois Republican party, and Fatboy is extremely wealthy and has wealthy friends, so probably won’t win. I can’t pick up and move right now, will be a few years. (sigh)
All according to Plan.
Tyrants don’t like prosperity for the masses. It makes it more difficult for the tyrants to seize control.
The plandemic sure was convenient to start this round of prosperity-crashing on ESG and demonized Russia ruses, wasn’t it?
