If Podesta is the new Clean Energy Czar, it begs the question of what the heck John Kerry is doing now? I digress.
You might remember that Steven Chu was the Obama Climate Change Czar for the first clean energy boondoggle that came as an outcome of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), those shovel ready jobs that didn’t materialize and carried the Solyndra spending nonsense.
John Podesta had nothing to do with the Obama-era clean energy initiatives or energy spending programs. Podesta was inserted into Obama’s orbit in the second term (2013) specifically to watch out for Hillary Clinton’s interests when she left to run for President. Podesta later joined her in 2015 and took over the strategy team.
Bottom line, John Podesta is being now being hired to divvy up the $316 billion in Green New Deal money recently authorized by congress. That is what Podesta specializes in, the distribution of taxpayer money to DNC allied groups and networks in advance of the 2022 midterms. Podesta, Hillary’s fixer, is a bagman, nothing more.
Podesta will now take the $316 billion and distribute the funds according to political priorities. Anyone who says anything different is being intellectually dishonest and obtuse in the extreme.

He said he had just about worked it out with the DOJ when Weissmann came along and told the DOJ not to finalize Manafort’s FARA compliance/reporting. Also said he was the first person ever to be criminally charged over FARA. Interesting interview. Of course, he is plugging his book.

Ah yes, good ol’ John Podesta. He and his the brother, Tony, made a living putting lipstick on pigs.
Just for the record, allow me to summarize just some of what he was involved from the 1990s to today.
First, John was Clinton’s Chief of Staff and as such, top scandal fixer. He was in charge of or involved in damage control for Whitewater, Travelgate, CampaignFinancegate, the Lewinsky scandal, Clinton’s Impeachment, Chinagate, Emailgate, and Pardongate. That’s a lot of Gates. He also took an active part in some of the illegalities.
For example, he was directly involved in planning the illegal trade missions . A key aspect of Chinagate was the illegal transfer of restricted communications and computer technology to the Communist Chinese, and Podesta (and his brother) played a major role in that too. That makes him, in a very real sense, a traitor, who sold out this country to communists for cash. He then said “I don’t remember”, “I don’t know”, or something similar HUNDREDS OF TIMES during testimony on what happened. During Chinagate, Podesta became an old hand at Pay For Play, the stock and trade of the Clinton fortune. I bet that’s why he’s been chosen to dole out the Climate Change slush fund.
And I’m on the subject of Chinagate, let me point out that in 1994, Silicon Graphics and several other computer companies, hired Tony Podesta to lobby for them. In 1994 and 1995, while John Podesta was in charge of Clinton’s computer and encryption technology export policies, Tony organized secret meetings in the White House attended by these companies’ CEOs. About that same time, Ron Brown was put in sole charge of signing off on technology exports, so within weeks of those meetings, the Russians and Communist Chinese were buying formerly restricted computer technology… like Cray super computers. Those computers allowed Russia and China to make great strides in nuclear weapons and other technologies. And the computer companies later turned out to all be VERY large Clinton donors. Pay for play, arranged by the Podestas.
The next dot I wish to connect is one that traces back to the Fabian Society that I’ve mentioned on occasion. Remember Fabian Socialist Stuart Chase’s books, “A New Deal” and “The Road We’ve Traveled”? The organization that commissioned both books was the “Twentieth Century Fund”. In 1999, the “Twentieth Century Fund” changed its name to “The Century Foundation” and the person named the Trustee of the fund was John Podesta.
In 2003, he co-founded and then ran (until 2011) the Soros-funded Center for American Progress (CAP), an organization so far to the left that in 2009, while still Chairman of CAP, John Podesta came out in defense of self-admitted communist and 911 Truther Van Jones, Obama’s Green Job’s Czar. Van Jones probably got the job in the first place because Podesta co-chaired the Transition Team for Obama/
In 2013, Podesta was paid $87,000 by foreign billionaire Hansjorg Wyss, whose passion was preventing energy exploration on American land … in order to hurt us. Podosta returned the favor by giving Wyss a seat on the CAP board, although Wyss’ donation of $4 million to CAP may have had something to do with that. In 2013, Podesta also helped found the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, another far left organization whose mission is to reduce “economic inequality” … I guess by making Americans all poor. For a while he served as it’s chairman.
Then in 2014, Podesta officially joined the Obama Administration. What better place for Fabian Socialist to be? He becoming the driving force inside the White House to block Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge from oil drilling and push Global Warming, one of the biggest socialist inspired scams ever. He was a major player in Hillary’s Benghazi and email/server scandals, working not only to protect Hillary and her staff, but covering up the fact that Obama had lied about not being aware of Hillary’s private server and email accounts.
Make no mistake … John Podesta knows how to get away with committing crimes … which is precisely why Biden’s handlers have put him in charge of the payola. They’re hoping that every dollar of our money that he *gives away* will come back to them tenfold.
