An additional perspective on the current status of the Ukraine-Russia conflict from Retired Lt. Col. Daniel Davis. WATCH:
A strong point made from the mailroom, adds perspective toward why the British are disproportionately taking on the responsibility for the European war machine inside Ukraine. It has been noted the U.K. government is doing much of the training, arming and support for Ukraine from within the EU. The question becomes, why was Boris Johnson and the British government so ‘all-in’ with their full-throated military support?
Perhaps the answer is as simple as the London financial markets. “The UK has nothing left but those sketchy money markets and exchanges. The Russians, joking at the sanctions, pricing resources in rubles, working with BRICS, are an existentialist threat to the UK. It shows that the financial exchanges and trading houses based in the UK are paper tigers because they can be easily bypassed. Russia is indeed an existentialist threat to the UK.”
It’s a good point.
Not bad for a gas station with nuclear weapons . LOL
Amazing! TY.
Christian, cultured, traditional, nationalistic, and patriotic. Yes, these people are our enemy (eye roll).
What a tragedy that they now consider us enemies. The Russians will never forgive us for having been forced into killing people whom they consider brothers and sisters.
Thanks neocon scum.
I think many Russians are aware that we are held hostage by the Bolsheviks, much as they were at one point in history. The question is if we can throw off the yoke of Bolshevism that is steadily moving for a complete takeover here. Perhaps one day, Americans will welcome Russian liberators rolling down the streets. We live in an interesting age.
US State sponsored terrorism
Brit tabloids are featuring her face in a montage of garishly red-X’ed “enemies of the Ukro-Nazi state.”
Are they claiming credit?
Think you meant ” US State Department terrorism. ” ?
Jersey814, where have I heard that before. Soon, the Brits won’t even have the gas stations. The choice across much of western Europe will be eating or heating.
The fools in Washington are cursing us with their behavior.
Thé US spends more on the military than the next 9 nations combined.

As George Orwell said:
“The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous.”
Can anyone name one actual strategic victory by the Ukraine over Russia? No Kiev was not “won” it was never fought over. Russia has most of the easy with its agriculture and sea access. Has the Ukraine won anything there of strategic value? Without American money and weapons we d be at the negotiating table weeks ago.
The answer is nyet.
Russia will never attack Kiev. It’s where Russia started and is Russian.
LOL…..Russia started in the Duchy of Muscovy
Wrong. Kievan Rus is where they started. Moved to Moscow much later. Read history.
So the Colonel above says the Afghan withdrawal was “messy.” Is that what he calls leaving $85B in our latest weaponry, turning over a rebuilt airbase, and leaving millions of poor, hapless females at the mercy of the Taliban? Oh, did I mention giving the Taliban all the biometric data necessary for them to track down any and all locals who put their lives on the line by helping the US fight “terrorism.” This all makes me want to VOMIT!
Uh, the Commanding General was the last man to march out (not under fire)
it’s cheaper to leave everything and replace it, than transport it all back. And the weaponry is worthless without the support to operate it. Yes it’s sad for those females having to choose between being bombed by US or repressed by the taliban. Kind of like having to choose between the frying pan or the fire.
The people running the show are reckless. They do whatever they want, they spend whatever they want. They wreck economies and whole countries for whatever reason they want. They don’t care about laws, they don’t care about you and me, they only care about power and control and self enrichment. I am embarrassed and livid at the same time. I hope I live long enough to see some of these psychopaths executed for their crimes. <end rant>
Russia is not even using their elite troops. They aren’t even using their best equipment. They need more troops because these Ukrainian territories they are liberating from the NAZIs will be holding referendums to join the RF. Since the RF will be expanding to incorporate these new republics, additional troops will be needed to protect these expanded areas.
Ukie NeoNasis on their plans for Donbas in 2014 :
Since the RF will be expanding to incorporate these new republics, additional troops will be needed to protect these expanded areas.”
That is in no way why more troops are needed. In fact if the new territories become part of Russia then under Russia law conscripts which curently are not allowed to fight outside Russia would be allowed in to start defending the newly incorporated land rather than the newly formed volunteers.
William Gaynor, you have it exactly right. Most fighting so far has been by troops from the DPR and other regional forces and militias. The ramp up in troop strength has to do, as you say, with demands growing as a result of taking over more and more former Uke territory. Our perfumed princes have no idea what is really going ob.
LTC Davis should know that the advancing “armor column” is actually Russia’s NEW 3rd CORPS with 40,000 to 60,000 troop strength that could become the “Game Changer” that western journalists love to anticipate, creating MULTIPLE WINS for Russia’s SMO:
• Launch a New Russian Offensive from the Kherson region to encircle Nikolaev, entrapping large-scale Ukrainian forces and denying future Ukraine use of both its port and industrial complex.
• Continue on by linking up with a Russian Paratroop attack that blocks reinforcement of Odessa, encircling the city to deny Ukraine’s use of its last port for exports through the Black Sea and connecting Russia’s completed Black Sea Corridor with Russian-friendly Transnistria to complete the envelop entry of the entire South Ukraine.
• Trigger Ukraine to divert massive forces from the rest of the Current Front in a vain attempt to thwart a New Russian Offensive, enabling multiple Russian BREAKOUTS that drive unobstructed all the way to Denipro on the Denieper River, as Ukrainian forces desert or surrender their already-weakened positions.
• Build upon the upcoming ~September 10th Referendums in Kherson & Zaporizhzhia to join the Russian Federation, by adding additional Referendums this fall in Nikolaev and Odessa.
I think it is someplace in between the 15,000 estmated by the US and the 40-60k the Ruskies are claiming….we shale see soon enough
I am betting that the new corps goes south to the Kherson region as well. When the Ukrainian Military attempts to divert battle groups to the area they will expose themselves to artillery attack and attacks from the Russian Airforce. At this point it will be difficult enough for the Ukrainian Military to to just move units out of the areas of heavy fighting. When they try to leave their fortified positions the Russians currently facing them will target and destroy many of their departing units.
The Ukranian forces are being systematically ground into bloody and charred corpses. As each targeted unit is rendered combat ineffective, it is replaced with a new one and the process continues. Each unit reconstituting cycle has less professional veterans and increasingly older, inexperienced conscripts.
The new Russian III corps, which is anywhere from 15 to 60K, is comprised of volunteers, mostly ethnic Russians from Ukranian regions. They are fully equipped with the most advanced armor and artillery systems. Being formed, trained and located in Rostov-na-Danau, it likely will be deployed to break the southern Donyetsk fortification line or deployed to take Odessa. Either way, Ukraine does not have anything remotely capable to defeat this force. If they attempt to re position committed forces along the line of contact, such units will be attrited during deployment and the positions left weakened will also be captured.
To date, most of the fighting has been done by local Lugansk and Donyetsk militias with specific tasks for the Wagner and Chechen special offense units.
The carnage these Ukrainian human beings are being subjected to, for the sole purpose of extending the money laundering operations benefiting oligarchs, American and European special interests is
criminal. We are observing the end of post WWII Europe and the age of American global hegemony.
One of my neighbors argues with me about the conflict. He says, “The Ukrainians are fighting for their sovereignty.” I tell him that they lost their sovereignty when Obama’s CIA, NATO and a few NGOs overthrew the elected government of Ukraine in 2014. That is when the hot war on Russians began. The Ukrainians will not get back their sovereignty by fighting the Russians because the Russians did not take it from them.
Correct on all counts!
Your neighbor needs to see the forced-conscription battles on the streets with targets fighting like banshees to elude the Neo-Nazi Predators.
There are so few people here that have even a remote knowledge of the eastern Ukraine that an actual fact based and edifying argument is impossible. I fully agree Ukraine has no sovereignty, it is a pawn being destroyed in a failed plan to achieve regime change in Russia. The result may well be a lot of regime changes in Europe.
What should be clear to anyone is we are witnessing the mass suicide of the EU, and an emerging new Eurasian block, independent of the US, UK, Germany and our US Dollar as the world currency. I would have confidence we could rebuild our wealth and stability at home if our core industries had been repatriated, but the coup installing Biden creates pessimism.
You’ve got it.
After Obama and Biden overthrew their Govt’ in 2014, food prices and taxes immediately went through the roof. Sounds familiar doesn’t it ? They also had people interfering with normal business activity, creating new regulations and rules which cost business owners a lot of money…. with some large projects coming to a standstill for YEARS….. again, sounds familiar.
What a brilliant point! And here we are in the same boat, grasping for our sovereignty from the same corrupt rulers!
In addition to III Corps, Russia is forming up 16 Brigades (originally referred to as Battalions) of Ukrainian Volunteers. Looks like they’ll become units for Oblasts soon to declare independence via Referendum and join the Russian Federation, paralleling those for Donetsk and Luhansk.
The geography of Eastern Ukraine doesnt make it easy. The Dnipro River is too deep to ford, and in Kherson runs 350-1000 meters wide, a challenge for pontoon bridges. The Russians currently have the equivalent of two Divisions West of the river, being supplied by two pontoon bridges since the Ukes damaged the highway and rail bridges. If the Russians puch the 3rd Corps across the Dnipro, they won’t be able to feed them.
There are several additional choke points crossing water obstacles between Kherson and Odessa. I suspect the Russians havent watched “A Bridge Too Far”.
This will be the last great stand of our State Department, an empire unto itself and a clear and present danger to citizens of America and the World. DoS has been out of control, thinking themselves gods, for decades now and has styled themselves as the Department of War, as opposed to Department of Defense, who has degenerately become mere errand boys for the grocery clerks. The DoS now is to external affairs what the Intelligence Branch has become to Internal Affairs.
I wish them total failure and complete destruction, knowing full well that their fall will take an inordinate number of Americans with them. It cannot come soon enough, or quickly enough. Bring it, and may God be both fierce to his enemies, and merciful to his people in the firestorm.
Perhaps you have not noticed but the DoS with the CIA , DoJ and FBI now run the USA…….including elections and the politicians selected to represent you.
These organizations are powerful, well connected and well financed…….it will be sometime before they will fall. This end-of-USA-story is unlikely to be quick…….it will most likely be a long drawn out affair with much suffering of the people.
The divisions they are creating in the homeland are meant to keep the little people occupied so they will not hinder the efforts of the megalomaniacs!
The UK people are not going to stand for the new PM blowing their money on Ukraine much longer.
UK economy grinds to a near halt on the back of dwindling customer demand
“The UK’s cost of living crisis is set to get worse before it gets better, and with energy prices continuing to march to fresh highs, it seems increasingly likely that a sharp slowdown, and a potentially protracted recession, may be on the horizon.”

The honest experts like Col. Macgregor point out that the Ukrainians have had more soldiers killed in action than the number of actual ground combat soldiers in the UK. That is Killed, not wounded. Astonishing.
The UK has told its’ military to be ready to take on Russia………..oops…….their new flagship aircraft carrier just broke a driveshaft before it left UK waters…….
https://www.foxnews.com/world/nato-flagship-breaks-down-shortly-leaving-port
BoJo is such a clown………but it is true that the UK is just a finance center…….they don’t produce much else.
Yet they could have been fabulously wealthy with their system if they had teamed up with PDJT on his trade deal for them instead of helping torpedo him.
JoeS, exactly.
The UK really never had that much ground capability to send in the first place. It’s the US that is supplying 95% of the weapons and cash.
The war is lost. The dying will continue.
Russia is an existential threat to most of Western Europe, if not all of Western Europe.
So, the rhetorical question to the UK, is why keep trying to sucker punch Russia?
Oddly enough, the Russians were the adults in the room then the kids thought absurd draconian”sanctions”, vilifying all Russian citizens abroad who didn’t openly get involved in what is clearly all politics, and illegally seizing anything Russian owned that’s not nailed down, especially if it’s uber pricey.
I’m sorry for the Ukrainian civilians who are caught in the middle of this, but I do not care about his war and I don’t want another penny of US taxpayer money going to the Ukrainian money laundering operation.
Ukraine is corrupt.
Has been for decades.
Has been for a very long time.
Long enough for corruption to become a national characteristic. A characteristic of the country, of the government and of the PEOPLE.
No need to feel sorry for Ukranian civilians. 🙄
Sundance, exactly right about the London bankster business. Too bad for the clown Boris and his ilk, they and the UK are circling the bowl while President Putin smiles like the Cheshire cat.
“Perhaps the answer is as simple as the London financial markets.”
Actually that would be The City of London which, not unlike the walled Vatican and the fenced-in Pelosi-Land, enjoys separate but not equal sovereign status.

Seems like a Biden apologist to me.
On the disastrous Delusional Joe pullout from Afghanistan, “It was really messy the way it was done“.
Egads! People died, including 17 soldiers and then they blew up an innocent family. Many people died, and still are.
And they brought terrorists to the USA by the hundreds of thousands, with no vetting. And housed them on military bases, of all places.
It was messy.
He armed the Taliban!
Huge military upgrade for the folks working to topple nuclear armed Pakistan, and a fantastic military airfield for China in the middle of their new mineral powerhouse.
I suppose they have to keep the truth metered to avoid exploding brains or something.
Didn’t note that it wasn’t simply a matter of Ukrainian and Russian artillery around the nuke plant; Ukraine is targeting it.
Hoping that the West will be stupid enough to blame Russia!
Wait . . .
Agree..
Common sense.
Why would Russia bomb the plant they are in control of?
Why would Russia call different agencies to monitor the shelling, etc?
People who have not been following what is going on are probably sitting there like Zombies nodding their heads in agreement listening to him say that on TV. Shameful.
Russia is not shelling the Nuclear Plant !
they do not call them LoFos without reason
Bagram is a mere 300 miles from where the PRC is torturing and persecuting the Uigyhrs……it is well within strike range of most of their stationary land ICBMs with nuclear warheads….we had just done a complete upgrade and overhaul of the base with the intent to negotiate its continued use and availability for US military forces……Slo Joe gave it over to the Taliban as one of his first acts of surrender in Afghanistan and the suicide bomber that hit the gate killing 13 of our uniformed personnel was released from the prison there
EU-Transforming Scenarios for Survival (not mutually exclusive):
EU PERSISTS in Ukraine Neo-Nazi Weaponization & Russian Sanctions,
• Multiplying its Manufacturing Costs of supply-constrained Energy, Materials & Logistics,
• To levels that destroy its competitiveness vs. Asian Imports,
• Destroying both Export & Domestic Markets,
• Leading to rapid DE-INDUSTRIALIZATION.
EU FRAGMENTS as Member States EXIT to escape Economic Implosion by
• Ending Russian Sanctions,
• Restoring Russian Trade with Payment-in-Advance in Rubles,
• Embracing Rest-of-World Trade and
• Adopting Domestic then Rest-of-World Currencies to end Dollar & €Uro Entrapment.
EU CAPITULATES to restore access to Russian Exports (at nonetheless FAR HIGHER PRICES that cover Russia’s SMO, Defense & Post-Conflict Rebuilding costs) by conceding to pre-conditions that the EU
• Recognize any Votes by Ukraine Oblasts to secede (as Independent States or Members of the Russian Federation),
• De-Nazify and De-Militarize Ukraine (ending Russia’s SMO), and
• Require all EU Members WITHDRAW from NATO or DE-MILITARIZE, except for NATO Charter Members.
The WEST IMPLODES as
• The REST UNIFIES & DE-COUPLES TRADE from the De-Industrialized & Resource-Scarce WEST,
• Ending Western-Hegemony entrapment perpetuated by the WEF, NATO, Global Ag-Energy-Tech-Pharma-Media Oligarchs and Global Banks (World Bank & IMF).
Said it from well before the beginning: Sue For Peace!
Suing for Peace => Unconditional Surrender
[aka CAPITULATION Scenario above]
Absolutely.
They’d’ve been far ahead of where they are now, and they’ll never see such generous terms from where they’re going.
They’ve crossed so many lines, including the assassination of Daria Dugina inside Russia, they may not even be able to stop what’s coming.
The entirety of Ukraine must be deNazified, and that means deNATOed deCIAed too.
The dirty little secret you won’t hear from the Pentagon: the incompetent Russian army has been intercepting mortars, rockets, missiles and HIMARS projectiles. Those things might work great against goat herders, but they’re not super weapons.
“They are both firing in this area”
Rubbish.
As he is saying this, they are showing the reactor buildings with Russian marked APCs guarding it.
Ukrainian artillery platforms are miles away, and shelling the installation on an almost daily basis.
Only the Ukrainians are firing at the nuclear power plant.
Just look at gold.
This guy is good – he’s realistic and watching this – I don’t really know what his opinion is regarding Ukraine but judging by what he’s said – it would be a sensible one.
Ie – At some point there has to be some sort of agreement between Ukraine/Russia and guaranteed by others.
I don’t think that will happen until Russia takes the entire Black Sea Coast though (& Donbas) – why would they stop now?
Quick send another couple billion to the zelensky scam.
Mostly boring ****.
How about asking leadership some simple questions? There’s a novel concept! Without any knowledge personally, it occurs we hear NOTHING in media vis the fol:
Sir/Mam, are all contract transactions associated with Ukraine money “appropriations” being audited?
Sir/Mam, where in the world are Ukrainian support humanitarian and military hardware and services coming from?
Sir/Mam, who (e.g., DoD, DoS, CIA, NGOs, foreign govts, beltway bandits who used to work for these agencies) is coordinating the E2E movements?
Sir/Mam, what is going on in terms of our direct manpower/hardware support for weapons and training in Poland and other NATO countries? Is it escalating?
Sir/Mam, is there a drawdown in older weapons inventories that is not being reconstituted (e.g., similar to SPR)?
Sir/Mam, are domestic ammo (think bullets) producers receiving new contracts?
I’m sure others can generate some interesting ulterior motive questions.
One nuclear power plant situated on a few hectares produces more kWh than all Europe’s solar power combined….
