After an assassin shot former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during a political street rally, Doctor Fukushima Hidetada of Nara Medical University said, “We tried to resuscitate him but, unfortunately, he died at 5:03 p.m.”
1954 – 2022
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was a transformative figure in Japanese politics. A devout nationalist with a humble demeanor, Abe shifted the national sentiment from post war apology toward an outlook of pride in Japanese culture, work ethic and traditional value. He was beloved by conservatives and patriots in Japan and disliked by leftists and globalists.
Perhaps the best example of Abe’s incredible personal and political influence was his visit to Pearl Harbor in December 2016. It was the 75th anniversary of the Japanese attack. Although Japanese leaders had visited Pearl Harbor before, Prime Minister Abe was the first to visit the hallowed memorial resting atop the sunken USS Arizona. It was an amazing and moving moment in history.
When you accept how intensely sensitive a visit to Pearl Harbor by the Japanese Prime Minister is… When you pause and think about the scope of trepidation that follows such a tenuously emotional diplomatic mission… It is proper to appreciate history and give credit where it is deserved.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s visit was powerful proof that former enemies can transcend the recriminatory impulses that often weigh down generational relationships long after war.
Speaking to the gathered audience in Pearl Harbor Hawaii, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe delivered an eloquent and honorable tribute. The first six and a half minutes of his speech below was remarkable in its historic value and speaks to the character of the former Japanese leader.
.
I think this is some sort of warning to Trump!
Lord forbid.
Absolutely!
Thinking out of box, I’m wondering what power martyrdom would have. Maybe there is a fear of going too far here in 2022. Maybe it deters. ???
I’ll be more consistent in my prayers for PTrump’s safety.
I agree. Someone with more expertise than I might put together a list of
conservative leaders, both in government and elsewhere, who have been
killed, jailed or disappeared during the last 30 years.
Off the top of my head….
Nigel Farage almost bought it in a plane crash.
The entire conservative Polish government died in a plane crash in Russia and the media tried to implicate the Ruskies.
Theo Van Gogh murdered in the streets of Netherland for his popular anti illegal alien stance.
The republican congressional baseball game had a leftist nut job shooting at them.
That Haitian leader who disbelieved the covid vaccine effectiveness was disposed and murdered.
Two African leaders who disbelieved the covid vaccine effectiveness were disposed and murdered.
And, there is more and I just cannot remember them right now. There is a lot.
You can see it. The conservative leaders are either murdered or embroiled in a political scandal, ie, a political hit, and removed from office. The international deep state wants a one world government based on leftist ideas of medical rationing, culling of humans (abortion and euthanasia), complete surveillance, no G-d given rights (government is god), corporate fascism with the morality of Mankind controlled by science, economics, and the whims of the absolute rule of CEO’s, political figures, etc.
And the train carrying Republicans that hit a dump truck that was mysteriously on the tracks in Virginia.
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/train-carrying-gop-lawmakers-retreat-hits-trash-truck-n843311
5 yrs ago I would have dismissed this post as a nutjob. No mas.
The number of things I have ready in the past 12 months that I considered conspiracy I can now attest are truth.
Dr Verwoerd. Jorge Haider. Abraham Lincoln.
If they can’t get P. Trump directly, they’ll assassinate every one of his allies who are nationalists. Shades of JFK.
A terrible day. Let’s pray that the leaders of Japan listen and arm up.
One needs only to go back to Japan of the 1930s when “government by assassination” effectively replaced a semi-democratic government with a military dictatorship and led to war in East Asia and the Pacific.
Yes, the evil leaders, like in Turkey, etc. never get taken out.
You didn’t need to go all the way to Turkey to find examples of evil leaders.
Just sayin’…
JFK was talking about disbanding the CIA.
Exactly.
Note the emphasis on “a free and open Indo-Pacific” and “work for democracy.” Both are clearly references to Taiwan.
If there is a conspiracy, I believe it more likely built around stoking Chinese-Japanese tensions.
Even in his “tribute”, Biden’s handlers have to get the “gun violence” message across.
They have no class or standards at all.
They are a shameless rabble that needs eradicating from world societies.
That plus Biden’s use of the word “I” in his tribute
President Trump knows the dangers of the Communist Democrats!! Deranged 110%
Yeah, and like the rest of the GOP, he will NOT back down. He will fight even harder because he looks around and sees no one that will fight like him.
The warnings started when he came down the escalator. The warnings have not let up since then.
It is.
It’s also more evidence that we are at WAR with China. No doubt about it.
The Chinese have been at war with the US since the communist revolution in China.
The “leadership” of the US just haven’t noticed it, yet.
Completely agree
The wef is full of some “very evil people” as President Trump would say.
Trump at least has decent Secret Service protection. I worry about certain Supreme Court justices. One terminal cancer Jack Ruby type and the Left gets another judge on the court at the cost of a throw away useful idiot. I still remain very dubious about Scalia’s death.
I disagree I worry about his protection by the Secret Service, I just don’t trust them wouldn’t surprise me if they just looked the other way! Look what has happened to the FBI! I hope President Trump also has his own private security in addition!!! But I share your concern over the Justices that voted to overturn Roe v Wade the worst ruling since Dred Scott!!!
Andrew Breitbart
Scalia was murdered so Obama could appoint another liberal to the court to flip the balance. Merrick Garland was Obama’s pick.
Mitch McConnell KNEW Scalia was assassinated by the Dems and refused to let the nomination process proceed under his watch until a new president, hopefully a GOP one could be elected.
Every action against President Trump has been a warning and those are just the ones we know about.
I think this is some sort of warning to Trump!
That was my first thought too.
Abe was peace loving, not a warmonger. R.I.P.
Abe was MAGA, in as much as one who wanted the best for Japan first could be. He is the first Japanese leader since before WWII for whom I had genuine respect.
He had the decency to realize the profound wound his nation caused the USA when he visited the Arizona. He was obviously moved. Yet he strove to concentrate on where we were similar and how economic ties and shared geopolitical interests could sustain brotherhood and not hatred. He was a decent fellow.
RIP PM Shinzo Abe.
I will always remember you wearing that marvelous grin as you watched a sitting, cross armed President Trump plainly telling all the standing Euro-weenies to go pound sand.
You were a good friend to President Trump and the USA. Japan has lost a great leader.
Yes, LOVED that photo.
It is remarkable that the picture of Trump and Abe is so vividly warm and genuinely friendly.
For what it is worth, I do not think think this is the only death we will be morning. Think about where we are and how we got here. Obviously one side is all in.
“Obviously one side is all in.”
I hope more and more people understand your insight.
There is one act and one act alone worth everything to the other side. It is out of our hands except for prayer and those on our side in charge of prevention.
Huge security failure- the first shot missed and then they tried to deflect the second shot with briefcases? This is just awful- a real warning to all those taking a firm stand against communism.
Yep… He missed with the first barrel. BOOM! – Shinzo didn’t even flinch…. approx 1 second interval and he was taken out with second barrel.
This is why it is next to impossible for the general public to get close to politicians in America.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10994501/Shinzo-Abe-dead-Japans-former-prime-minister-dies-shot.html
None of the ‘security’ looked prepared to take a bullet for Abe. Plus, they were not looking – Bad security IMHO.
Same as cops opening Capitol doors on J6? Hard to know these days. Purposely bad security?
Did he miss or did the weapon misfire?
This was a homemade weapon after all.
Both charges exploded, where the first projectile(s) went is anybody’s guess at this point.
IMO, it’s optics, meant to look whacko, improvised, zealot.
In Japan, just like, heck, in my shop for decades, it’s quite easy to manufacture very effective and functional firearms. The same machines I used to make hydraulic cylinders can make artillery as far as that goes. You’d be amazed how many CNC machines reside in garages these days.
While law abiding citizens of course follow the laws regarding firearm construction, a guy, or group, bent on assassinating someone is obviously not concerned with such trivialities, even if firearms of any sort are banned.
Show killing IMO. Person and weapon meant for show. Purposeful.
On the Daily mail people were asking about the briefcase you even see one of them holding it
while they are taking down the shooter.. It was said those briefcases are actually shield
pull the handle and bullet proof metal plates come down…use it to deflect bullets.
Ordo ab chao. Same cult soup warmed up in a new bowl.
Shinzo Abe was a nationalist that likely loved his country. However he likely created many enemies with his handling of Fukushima post 3/11/11. Namely the government and Tepco using the Yakuza to force unwilling and innocent folks into the radioactive no go zone. This is neither an endorsement or defense of him, but you make a deal with the devil and you get burned.
The Biggest mistake was not he ,but you posting this comment.
DanQ is wrong. Let the man have his say.
We are not cultists. We are rationalists.
Thank you. I was purely making an observation the man likely had enemies. It was not a judgement on his character, and I certainly did NOT mean he deserved to be shot. No one, but the evil ones, deserve to be shot. And even then the evil ones should get their day in court even if they are reprehensible with enough evidence of their evils to bury them.
I disagree. The biggest mistake was you opening your mouth to show the world you have no counter argument to provide thus proving the saying that sometimes it’s better to keep your mouth shut so people don’t KNOW you’re an idiot…
Were the Yakuza forced or didn’t they willingly help? I don’t remember that much.
The Yakuza were the strongmen that forced other innocent people (mostly homeless, those without family, and those with debts to the Yakuza) to clean up the radioactive debris.
OCB, in previous TCH post re: Abe’s assassination a regular commenter named Daniel mentioned what his wife (Japanese) thought about S. Abe. She stated “Yakuza” when referring to a reason why he was shot.
Maybe Daniel will read this thread and his wife can shed more light on all this.
OCB, Your comments are informative & appreciated as I know little about Japan.
Thank you. I didn’t realize I was going to get flamed for making a factual observation.
I wonder if the same people attacking me above and below would vehemently defend chairman xi and his internment camps? They aren’t much different then the Gov and Tepco giving the go ahead with complicit approval for the Yakuza to have radiation concentration camps around Fukushima.
Anyways, I hope Daniel can provide some insight!
Tone has changed around here. Maybe newbie posters. Haha, I came here about 5 yrs ago from sparring on Breitbart. Maybe it’s just them not yet settled. (Or not 😝).
I dont mind the “fights” so much if people would remove the emotional aspect. They just react. I’d bet a dollar none of the reactionaries to my post even lifted a finger to see if what I said was true.
Also, I agree tone has changed. Some for better, and some for worse. I will continue to stand my ground as long as I can post to this site. I dont agree with everything everyone posts on this site either, but don’t go out of my way to enflame them either.
We need a good balance of views as long as our principles aren’t compromised.
Anyways, FarmerRen, very appreciative of your input over the years!
“Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,” said Jesus, as quoted in Matthew 24:12
We Treepers can never forget that, if we get sucked into the hatreds of the Left, our country falls apart. It is up to us to hold it together.
That means we need to love our neighbors, as Jesus commanded us. And not just the ones who are like us.
Luke 35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
^This verse popped up on my daily Bible app for today. It’s a hard one, so I needed the reminder.
Amen, brother. Be strong and courageous! All things are possible with God.
The blowback is because regardless of whether your factual observation was true, it is the wrong time to rub salt in the open wounds of many grieving the assassination of a beloved man, leader, husband .
This loss is felt by many Americans reading these comments. It was insensitive to post such a comment at all after his brutal assassination. He isn’t even buried.
It’s rather disgusting that someone would even have to explain to you why your comment is offensive, but, guess it’s needed.
“…..likely loved his country” Likely??? What a bizarre comment. Judging by your comment you likely didn’t care for Shinzo Abe. Have no fear, nobody will take your comment as an “endorsement or defense” of him. Quite the opposite and very inappropriate.
Yes. Likely. What kind of man would give tacit approval to a mafia to round up innocent people of you’re own heritage and force them at the end of a mafioso gun to clean up something that will surely kill them?
So yes, likely, but not positively
Read my above comment to you. Applies here also.
“Make a deal with the devil”? Based upon what? Who are you to judge? Opinions are like a##holes – everyone has one but posting your inappropriate, unfounded opinion, as you certainly do not have facts to support your stated allegation, is demeaning and wrong. Maybe you should look in a mirror to catch a glimpse of your own soul and character.
For someone who does not know me, you sure make a lot of assumptions and spin innuendo. How about a counter argument with proof against what I said.
Another idiot comment. Please specify what is so reprehensible? Would you not be upset if your family was forced to clean up radioactive debris by a mafia with the Gov’s tacit approval? Holy effing crap you’re retarded.
Where’s your references citing your sources? Why should we honor your information when you offer no proof or sites for info cited to make our own evaluation? Instead you make a comment denigrating someone that we’re mourning the loss of today, and get defensive because your info isn’t taken at face value. Why should we – because you said so? How rude is that?
Lifes hard, and it’s even harder when your stupid…
Let’s see “duckduckgo”
Search “yakuza forcing people to clean up fukushima”
And holy chit, it’s magic. Results! By golly the tech these days just surprises me every day!
Now since it’s obvious you’re too lazy to search yourself, yet a brave keyboard warrior…here’s the first hit

Why were they sent? To clean up?
Yes. Similar to the USSR and they’re forced labor after Chernobyl

Wow. Strong counter argument. You’ve changed my mind!
Idiocy at it’s finest!
Don’t worry about it, you’re a multi-dimensional thinker, best way to find the truth.
“Cultists of Personality” are a dime a dozen yet far more worthless.
Thank you Mr Jones!
I liked the movie your namesake mentions, by the way.

I don’t usually shed tears for foreign leaders (or any leaders these days) but I’ve shed tears multiple times for this man, his family, and his nation. He was an incredible figure who did not deserve this end and the world has lost an incredible anti-communist.
My heart is sore today. He will be greatly missed.
Shinzo Abe was a special friend to President Trump and to America, and represented Japan with honor.
The globalist-funded and ordered murder of anti-globalist leaders and strong influencers around the world continues…
To be certain, the “Globalist” schemers includes Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, Chairman of the Central Military Commission, and President of the People’s Republic of China.
Heartbreaking news.
Just so sad.
Prayers for his family.
Biden remembers working closely with him?
….”MY friend”
is placed
before
“Abe”
-telling
Thanks, Sundance for including the statement from the President. Biden’s statement is the best thing that I’ve seen come out of the White House in a year and a half. What a perfect occasion for coherence and humanity.
Which means, I guess, that Shinzo Abe brought out the best in everyone. May he rest in peace.
Melania made a heartfelt tweet to Abe’s wife and family earlier today. It felt so emotional after reading it.
Biden (his handlers) just HAD to get that “gun violence” phrase in there.
Exactly what I would expect from a mealy-mouthed dementia patient with cabbage for brains.
Exactly what I thought, also. Never let a tragedy go to waste. Incredibly, yet unsurprisingly, predictable.
Probably the only reason they thought to address it in the first place… there was value in it for them.
As predicted. It’s like Clockwork.
Only total jerks would put that phrase in.
Guns are basically outlawed in Japan. The Biden administration’s usual foot in mouth statement.
Fairly broad use of the definition of a gun, is a plumber van from here forward termed a tank?
Japan has total gun control. Josef Stolen just stepped on his own argument.
It is a hard aim unless you are very good to hit the thin area of the neck versus say, the heart or torso.
What if this is t the REAL shooter, and there was someone else, like a sniper who did the kill shot, and thus patsy is blamed for the assassination.
The CIA specializes in these tricks, a la, Lee Harvey Oswald.
The weapon was a short barrel shotgun. No precision aiming necessary.
The weapon was a short barrel shotgun?
Please be careful with that term.
2 pieces of water pipe, some tape, and a box, next on the list of banned items?
Please, this no time for putting on the tin foil hats. At least let the body get cold.
Do some research – you might be surprised at what you find.
It’s always the time for critical thinking.
Even if one can’t stop what’s coming, at least one will not be surprised by it.
Such tactics don’t hide anything. Patsies are sent by someone. Most people know that. Official versions of the truth are always devised to protect the political viability of someone.
A possible exception is the Warren Report which established the lone shooter theory. Of course, because the lone shooter was a communist, the Church hearings of the 1970’s (with Democrats in power) had to ‘correct’ that version by seeking to refute its irrefutable findings.
Anyone interested in the record of these Church hearings and their laughable findings will see what a shameful travesty of the truth that leftist hearing was.
Yes, the CIA has this formula nailed down.
RIP
In this photo, I see a resolute attitude against the Euro Lefties by President Trump and PM Abe. Bolton is standing there with his mouth open.
Great photo. Iconic. Abe and Trump are the only ones who “get” it.
And Abe is surrounded with his crack Japanese aides. It’s like Trump has an army of supporters around him and Merkel and Macron stand alone and desperate.
So much for strict gun laws.
Seriously doubt this is a “lone wolf”.
This is meant to send a message.
It’s a message to Trump, to remove his allies, and further isolate him from MAGA leaders who would stand with him. Hoping he won’t run.
Clearly, you do not understand the man, Donald J. Trump.
If you researched his upbringing and how he developed into the man he is today; you will find, from very clear evidence, that the man and 45th President of the United States, has never and will never back down and go away.
Why?
Because Donald John Trump knows NO FEAR. He is NOT Afraid and that is how he approaches everything he undertakes.
If that were the case, we’d have learned a lot more about the fraud that was the Russiagate investigation via declassifications long before Durham.
Come to think of it, Durham also served as yet another way of keeping those truths hidden until long after they mattered.
Not true. Why? Because the NSC makes the final determination on the POTUS’s decision for declassification.
The Administrative State has deep channels and now you are asking PDJT to dismantle immediately what took many decades to put together. That is not realistic and is not relevant to my post above.
I have researched PDJT from the time he was born until today. He is fearless, however, he is NOT Stupid!
Just wondering out of curiosity, if that is the process for declassification, how Ric Grennel was able to get a satchel full of documents that he declassed, when no one else would or could…
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2020/05/07/mission-possible-dni-richard-grenell-delivers-satchel-of-declassified-documents-to-ag-bill-barr-possible-release-tomorrow/
Amen.
if you had a mind, you would have fathomed PDJT has been under a death threat from the oppressive elites since he announced in 2015
Totally unnecessary. Could have started your sentence with PDJT and just let it go at that.
……’s name should never be mentioned in the same sentence as Shinzo Abe. An honorable man who will be missed by many Americans.
I weep for his country.
Rest In Peace PM Shinzo Abe San
You were a good human being
This is bad for the entire free world…
notice that obiden referred to gun violence yet again? and I do also believe this is a warning not only to trump, but to le pen, farage, MBS, netanyahu and others who are trying to do the right thing for their countries and the world
Biden didn’t actually write any of his statement – I bet he couldn’t even read it properly
The world lost an honorable man.
I am concerned the White House’s official statement includes lines about how a “free and open Indo-Pacific will endure” and that “at the moment he was attacked, he was engaged in the work of democracy.”
It would appear the West is already positioning Abe’s assassination within the building tension over Taiwan. Given that tensions are already high, and given the history between the Japanese and Chinese peoples, this is both extremely distasteful and extremely dangerous.
Not a secret that China intends to supplant America as the world’s hegemon.
Then you have the influence of China on all international trade with their sizable market share of virtually every manufacturing industry. If they were to shut down exports of all intermediary and finished manufactured goods…
“Free and open Indo-Pacific” really means: China’s for the asking!
Prime Minister Kishida of Japan Outlines Vision for a New Form of Capitalism at World Economic Forum
https://www.weforum.org/press/2022/01/prime-minister-kishida-of-japan-outlines-vision-for-a-new-form-of-capitalism
Now just ask who could’ve gotten in the way of that, and what happened to him.
Has anyone even hinted at what the late Mr. Shinzo Abe was talking about when he was assassinated?
Cautionary tale, I know President Trump has the best security the good Lord himself, but security team heads up.
RIP Abe
I do wonder if Japanese secret service is especially lacking when it comes to responding against firearms since they’re incredibly rare on that island, the assassin used a homemade black powder shotgun apparently.
Did Biden’s press release get Shinzo Abe’s name backwards?
GREAT CATCH! Freudian huh?
(Missed it myself and had to go back and look – but it certainly appears you are correct).
Abe is the surname. In Japan it is correct to place the surname first. “Abe Shinzo.” In the west, it would be “Shinzo Abe.”
Stupid White House Press probably thinks it’s pronounced Abe as in Abraham Lincoln. Dumb ass people are the most high and mighty and they think they can do no wrong.
“my friend Abe Shinzo”
When’s the last time any of us has reversed the first and last names of A FRIEND?
Japanese traditionally put the last name before the first name, as many Asian cultures do. There is some disagreement in Japan over which method should be followed.
Japan officially adopted Second/First format in 2019, so perhaps because the press release is an official document it followed that convention.
So glad to know the official stance. It was always confusing because I was never sure which name was the given name and which was the family name in some instances (some it is clear). Thanks for posting.
Thanks for the information!
You would expect less from the potato’s peeps??
My good friend—–ah —you know the thing.
YEP. Screwballs one and all.
56 years ago, as a young sailor on the Intrepid, I visited Japan where I was treated by the locals very well, extremely well as I thought it was only 21 years ago we dropped two atomic bombs on their country. 25 years ago, I was asked to help restore two extra nuclear bomb casings for a museum, Fat Boy and Little Man, at Kirkland Air Force Base. I sat on Fat boy and wondered why that war got started. Seven Years ago I was chatting with Pete Cosper when he informed me of his adventures in the Army arriving in Japan for the re-organization, etc. We both had nothing but praise for those Japanese we encountered!
There is a larger message due to be delivered from the evil death of Japan’s former prime minister. I fear what it will be…
The leaders foment the war, and the young innocent men fight it.
That’s great… if you had nothing but praise for the Japanese 56 years ago…you are totally ignorant…
But… if you were a student of history and aware before you went there… you would know the reason for the bombs to be dropped were the ATROCITIES committed by the Japanese…not only against the Chinese before WWII but specifically against American forces, British forces and Filipinos during battle and specifically American POW’s during the war. It was truly heartbreaking what they went through. While the press coverage was mostly about Europe, the real battle was against the Japanese. Truman made the right call in order to save lives.
Abe…by attending a ceremony at Pearl harbor recognized this and tried to make amends for their ideology.
For this I give him credit…and am sorry for their loss.
I am not that ignorant, nor did I present my thoughts on the history of the Japanese…Bushido, etc. Next up I guess you would try an attack on my thoughts about Native Americans….get lost pal!
Nearly every US citizen who has visited Japan wonders how it was possible that we were ever at war with Japan.
Is there a nation more hospitable and that shows more respect for Americans and the US than Japan? What a tragedy the whole affair was.
It was the humility and respect for the US from Japanese leaders like Mr Abe that put memories of the horrible war behind us so quickly, and moved us back to natural relations of mutual respect and admiration between our nations.
I struggle to think of a national leader outside the US over the past generation whom I’ve admired and respected more than Mr Abe. Jair Bolsinaro, Viktor Orban, Margaret Thatcher… that’s good company. … my compliment to them to mention them along with Mr Abe.
Mr Abe was special it’s worth reflecting on him and his legacy. We don’t have many friends like Japan it’s worth noting it.
This makes me wonder if China has any involvement in this?
This assassination sends a very disturbing message.
Joe’s statement reads like he’s talking about someone he had once met at a social function. President Trump’s statement reads like someone grieving the loss of close friend.
Protect and bless President Trump.
Amen
Our installed National Scumbag, Biden, just had to make a reference to “gun violence”. Even in international tragedy, they are hardwired to their talking points, like a broken 8-track player.
No. The bigger scar on every community of Humanity is the tyranny of centuries-old elites that seek to forever enslave mankind and exterminate our God-given free will.
Abe was a Nationalist, a populist – and a movement leader (just as Donald Trump and Jair Bolsonaro currently are). Abe’s standing outside of official office was irrelevant. He led a growing political movement and a philosophy in Japan.
Connect the dots. They nearly got Bolsonaro. They got to Abe. They will continue to try and get Trump. They are after the leaders of this rising global movement for human freedom and individuality. That is the mark of desperation.
But there are hundreds of millions, if not billions, of decent, loving, people supporting and making up this movement. They are the global majority. Not the globalists, their misled and sedated followers, and their NWO/Illuminati masters.
Abe’s forced death, for those principles contrary to the satanic cabal, will not suppress the rising human spirit that grows every day in casting off their demonic plan to place mankind in spiritual and physical shackles. The Great Awakening of humanity continues un-slowed.
Abe is now a martyr. They have only made him, his cause, humanity’s cause, and humanity itself, stronger going forward. Now he will never be forgotten. They have already lost.
The great spiritual battle here continues. It is one that humanity shall ultimately win.
Exactly. Well said!
Leftists won’t make the Hinkley mistake again.
Biden mentions gun violence in his statement. The left are such assholes. All politics, even the assassination of a foreign leader, is tied to domestic politics.
Just mourn the guy and leave your leftist fetishes aside.
If only Pres. Obama and now Biden could have been so humble, mature and honorable to have shown respect for President Trump when he was elected in 2016. They are no PM Abe.. I’d imagine they to this day have no understanding, on a deep patriotic level, of either Abe or Trump. It’s not in their psyche or their spirits.
They might attempt to act as though they understand but they can’t. They always ring hollow to me. No depth. Words, scripted detached from true sentiment words.
Will miss PM Abe.. as I miss President Trump.
Feel as sad and heartbroken as when Andrew died. The world has lost another wonderful genuine kind person we cannot spare. I fear for DJT
In every endeavor we are facing a Culture of Death.
‘Abe Shinzo”is how Chinese names are written, last name first. I wonder who really wrote Biden’s statement.
Good point, Melinda. I did not know that.
Might say it was pointedly implied to Abe’s people.
See my response Sidelines.
See Keeler post above at 12:40 in reply to sidelines.
Bidens masters had to throw in the gun violence line!
Melania’s face would soften as she she looked at Abe’s wife. You could tell that the relationship between these 2 families ran deep. Some of the greatest moments of PDJT’s Presidency were in the company of this great man. What a great loss for the world. RIP Sir.
This stinks of CIA (sending a message) and no “lone wolf”.
Rest in Peace – you were a good friend and ally to the greatest leader in my lifetime, our 45th President Trump.
PS – Plugs Biden has absolutely no class whatsoever.
Tragic! A complete failure of security. If you watch the videos of the event (UK Daily Mail), you can see that his security team had bought into the false sense of security that a “gun free” country belies. Most likely a pattern at previous campaign stops. Very few people even look around after the first (missed) shot. “Can’t be a gun, as guns are outlawed. Must be construction noise.”
I initially thought he most likely used a 3D-printed weapon, but the weapon is crude with wood, pipe, duct tape, etc.
Anyone know if Japan monitors social media? Was the killer “known” to authorities or have any warnings on social media?
The alleged killer was retired Japanes Navy.
The assassination has suspicious links to his support and campaigning for the defense of Taiwan and Japanese National Defense. The reach of the CCP and its allies is vast and often unseen . This headline from Breitbart makes the point:
Abe Shinzo Spent His Last Days Advocating for Defending Taiwan from a Belligerent China

This is the work of the DS Cabal. So sad. He was such a great man and a true friend in every way to Trump. My heart cries for his family and for Japan. What a tragic loss.
Don’t think so…DS would have provided a real gun for him.
Either isolated or a cell affiliated with anti Abe forces.
Back in 2011 when Japan suffered a horrid earthquake I watched as they gathered together to help one another.
Today I believe that they will once again gather together to help each other in their mourning.
“Hana wa saku (Flowers will bloom) is very recent in origin. It’s a song of hope and remembrance written in the wake of the March 2011 tsunami: the flowers bloom for those many who died and those yet to be born.”
Top is original that was put out by Earthquake Charity Song Project NHK without English lyrics. Bottom has the lyrics in English.
Thank you for this. I remember the video of the aftermath and the search parties recovering the deceased. It touched me how they gathered around the corpse and bowed to it in reverence for the soul that passed. I thought that was particularly poignant in a country like Japan.
I hope this most recent scar, like so many, heals quickly for them.
I seem to remember that earthquake every year since it my birthdate.
I’m not going to assume this has anything to do with Trump until I see some real reasons, we Americans get a little self-absorbed sometimes.
My first thought was that this might have something to do with Aum Shinrikyo, the cult behind that infamous nerve gas attack.
Sounds like there is an arch Democommunist at NPR.
It would appear someone at NPR considers Abe a stone’s throw or two distant from a certain austere religious scholar killed by Westerns imperialists opposed to his establishment of a pan-Arabic faith community.
Well … that’s an improvement over “EXTREME right wing conspiracy theorist” ?
Funny thing, I’ve never heard the MSM use the phrase “divisive arch-liberal” or “Extreme left wing conspiracy theorist”!

The only two men with their arms crossed. I wonder if this was a veiled threat to Trump.
There are no coincidences.
just noticed….look at the expression on obama’s face when he is looking at abe…..I think schwab, soros and obama’s other handlers should be looked at….IMHO
Looked at while they are wearing the blindfold and smoking the cigarette in front of the brick wall out back before execution of their just sentence.
