Boris reportedly knew about Pincher’s alleged pinching propensities on 5 different occasions. Those that were pinched or groped were ignored. But the UK media are experts at scandal mongering and have been relentless about Pincher and “Party gate” before that when it was proven via videos that Boris and his team had unmasked drinking parties at his Downing street residence at a time when he mandated strict COVID rules for the “lower, unprivileged” classes.
The more reputable Conservative press has also been very vocal in their Boris criticisms regarding his Biden like non stop illegal immigration, his destructive Net Zero initiatives and so on. The party’s Conservative voters are also aware they’ve been betrayed by Boris.
There are other grievances, internal battles and power struggles that have become serious enough for most MP’s to recognize that it is time to replace the leader so they can pretend the party will return to being an actual Conservative party which is highly unlikely. It has become a tradition to dump the leader rather than make changes in the party to actually govern as Conservatives.
