Nancy Pelosi shoved the daughter of newly elected Republican Latina Mayra Flores during the swearing in ceremony. However, the undeterred young lady stood her ground and smiled like a princess.

Representative Mayra Flores responded to the video on Twitter: “I am so proud of my strong, beautiful daughter for not allowing this to faze her. She continued to smile and pose for the picture like a Queen,” the congresswoman’s official campaign account tweeted. “No child should be pushed to the side for a photo op. PERIOD!!”

Here in Maine, I had to vote for RINO-SUPREME Susan Collins–either that or get a truly deranged Democrat. SC has been my only choice for several cycles now, and I’m so sick of it.
Term limits would get her off the ballot automatically–probably to make room for just another RINO in conservative drag. The fault, though, lies with people like me who only complain…

Personally, I’m proud of her for NOT moving away after the shove. She took up her original position and resolutely stood her ground.
