The 213-page Supreme Court ruling in Dobbs -v- Jackson (Mississippi case) is FOUND HERE. The ruling in the Dobbs case was 6-3 in favor of allowing Mississippi to place limits on abortion after 15 weeks. However, in combination with the Dobbs decision the court has overturned (by a 5-4 vote) the 1972 Roe -vs- Wade decision that created a constitutional right to abortion.
Chief Justice John Roberts joined with the majority on the Dobbs decision (Mississippi) but said he did not agree with the decision to overturn Roe. The vote to overturn Roe was 5-4. Justices Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett joined Justice Samuel Alito’s opinion.
Due to an unprecedented leak in the Alito draft opinion in May, the Roe decision was anticipated. The leaked draft opinion showed that a majority of the justices were privately poised to remove a constitutional right for abortion; today that step was taken.
SCOTUS BLOG – […] Alito began his 79-page opinion by observing that abortion “presents a profound moral issue on which Americans hold sharply conflicting views.” But the Constitution does not refer to abortion at all, Alito stressed, and nothing in the Constitution implicitly protects the right to an abortion.

What is being overlooked and is very important is that now abortion will no longer be an issue in federal elections.
The left has been dragging women around by the nose at election time by denigrating candidates by who might make appointments that would put the availability of abortion at risk, causing women who have a conservative or middle ideology to vote for the candidate who supports abortion in spite of how she feels on other issues because she feels compelled to vote with the herd on this issue.
It will still be a state issue, but state pols don’t make federal appointments.
Tossing the issue to the states will definitely affect the way pro-lifers vote in federal elections, too. I have family members whose only litmus test for candidates has been whether he/she is pro-life. This issue has landed many otherwise non-political or Democrat-leaning people on the Republican voter roles. I am curious to see the long-term effects of taking abortion off the federal table. I can actually see a couple of my pro-life family members returning to the Democrat Party because it’s the party of more free stuff.

The rights guaranteed by the Constitution are those unalienable rights endowed by the Almighty and ratified by the States, before the federal government existed. Tge RINOs have carried your water before, they just might do it again. If your constituents agree with you, you will be reelected. If not, then you vacate your place at the taxpayer trough. The courts and press and big tech and lobbyists and big corp and Wall Street have been doing your job long enough.

They should also outlaw gay adoptions. No gay couple should be allowed to adopt a child and corrupt their well-being.
They drive across state lines to buy weed, to buy beer, tobacco. Some even register their cars across state lines. They can drive to IL, NY, CA to kill their kids.
Or, send them to any of the big Dem run cities…………..same thing.

It was never in the Constitution. Pure politics created it out of thin air.
Every year from now on, when we are told we are to celebrate something called “Juneteenth”, I will always see that as the prelude to June 24th, 2022, the day supreme court reversed Roe v Wade, and America started down the path to redemption.
Now that will be something worth celebrating every year.
